Kyra

Kyra Manning walked slowly onto the bridge, watching as cool night breeze lifted the leaves and carried them off the bridge. Like a beautiful suicide. It seemed all she could think about ever since she saw Liane's body. Beautiful happy Liane, her best friend ever since they were 6 or 7 in elementary, putting gum in each other's hair and laughing as the other came to school the next day with shorter hair. It was their little game to see who would get long hair faster. Hmm well now I'll win. I don't want to. Fighting back the tears yet again, she rubbed harshly at her eyes. As another breeze blew by, she pulled her trench coat tighter around her. God, I hate the cold. Looking around, she hoped she wouldn't run into any trouble. It was too dark to see, let alone run without tripping. She was clumsy as it is. Nothing like a moonless night on a bridge surrounded by water to toughen the spirit.

Erin; Zev; Ramiel; Arcadia

Erin never wanted this. Her father, Damian, was an insane serial killer and always spread his tainted bloodline all over Atroe City. That's how Erin was born. Her poor mother couldn't take care of her, so she sought out Damian's first son. Dimitri Volkov. He was likely the last one of Damian's bloodline who wasn't a complete psycho. Erin was placed in the care of her older brother. She had heard of Angela, Dimitri's little sister, who was killed by a gang. Dimitri never let Erin leave his side after that.

But Erin grew up to be more wild than Dimitri had expected. He couldn't protect her from the world. She got into fights, got into an unhealthy relationship, and occasionally had too many drinks.

She had recovered with the help of Dimitri. He helped her with her triplets when he could, but he couldn't always be there for her.

Erin walked down the bridge, leading her two sons and one daughter. She had a feeling that Damian was following her. She just knew it. Erin had her head lowered, but the three children, all three years old, watched Kyra carefully. Arcadia stopped at looked up at the stranger. "Hi. I'm Arcadia." The little girl said. "What's your name?"

Erin looked back at her daughter. "Arcadia, come on. We have to move quickly." The young mother said calmly and compassionately. She looked over at Kyra. "We're sorry to disturb you. Arcadia is very social and talkative."

Erin's eyes then shot to the other side of the bridge, flitting around. She looked at Kyra. Damian would show this stranger no mercy. "You shouldn't be here. It isn't safe." She said fearfully, her bi-colored eyes widening.

Kyra

Kyra huddled her coat closer around her as figures became apparent in the space ahead of her and heading her way. Gulping, she kept walking, though slowed her pace considerably, already looking for an escape should it be trouble. But as the figures drew closer, she made it out to be a lone woman and three children. Relaxing, she kept walking, though her heart went out to the woman, knowing she must be in some sort of bad luck to be out on a bridge at this time of night. Seeing her worried wwandering eyes as they drew closer, she held back a concerned greeting, seeing the lady seemed to be in a hurry. Better to let her on her way then, though it made Kyra wonder vaguely what she could be walking into.

Hi. I'm Arcadia. What's your name?

The tiny child's voice made her jump, despite herself. Turning, she offered a shy smile to the little girl looking up at her. "My name's Kyra. Nice to meet you Arcadia." Her eyes then met the gaze of the mother, but the woman wasn't looking back at her. Instead she pulled gently on the Arcadia's hand as she spoke in a worried tone.

Arcadia, come on. We have to move quickly.

Kyra frowned, concern covering her face as the lady turned to face her with apologetic eyes.

We're sorry to disturb you. Arcadia is very social and talkative.

Kyra nodded her head slightly. "It's ok. She seems like a delightful child." Then she watched the woman's eyes dart around almost like she was looking for ghosts and her heart just about broke. What was scaring this mother so badly? It caused a shiver to the core of her spine, especially at the woman's next chilling words.

You shouldn't be here. It isn't safe."

Unconsciously wrapping her coat tighter around herself, Kyra gulped again. Nodding her head fervently, she looked into those beautiful two olored eyes, willing to say or do anything to put the calm back in their depths as she hated seeing anyone in this much fear, especially a mother with children at her train.
