Rayne

Slowly, moving in the still air of the coming fall, a white figure stalked across the wooden structure that held one land to the other. His deep yellow eyes burning through the darkness of the night, glinting at any form of light that tried to hug his body. Rayne had been in hiding more-less, searching the valleys boundaries for adventure. But the way he was raised, and the way packs were organized on the outside world were two different things. Although he liked the idea of having no prey-animals in a pack, the scarce number or 4-6 bothered to wolf completely.

Instead he had returned, it was his rightful place to lay claim to the valley anyway, wasn't it? His lips pulled up, revealing a cunningly sharp set of teeth. He would one day rule, unlike the weak Risen that fell into the feelings of the pack and then to her demise. "She was pathetic" He whispered to the darkness.

And the darkness replied, in a shrill voice she whispered. "She was old, Rayne, and you are new." The voice paused as Rayne turned toward the darkness. "Let's just say she was the opening act. And here, here is where the true terror begins." A cackle came forth as a skinny, daunting black figure presented itself next to Rayne.

"Cynical, you are always by my side." He hissed deep from his gut. The female smiled, dark, deadly.

"You're era is soon to come my lord"

Temptation, Dab, Fleet, Hidari

Moving in the darkness, those with darker hearts began to stir. Their narrowed eyes raked hungrily at the white beast that sat in the opening. Soon a soft chorus of growling and coos came from the shadows of the forest on the edge of Carver's bridge. It took a second for Cynical to turn and return the growls to the darkness that threatened their peace, but Rayne acted if nothing in the would could hurt him, instead he gave a half glance in the direction before demanding in a deep tone "Show yourselves".

The growling rose in volume, and then subsided to a whisper. The first tome come out was Temptation, the black female's deep blue eyes bore deep into the White one's eyes. But as his gaze met hers with knives, her glare was diverted to the side. This female smelt of Lurkers, but she was done hiding and tricking them and acting like she was their friend. She wanted to fight, no more hiding, no more tricks. Soon her booming voice was thrown into the air, "My name is Temptation, Daughter of Razor and Kage, a former Shadow Haunter, but no more! Rayne, I seek your acceptance. I wish to be part of the stronger pack! Not one ruled by heart and faith, but by power and strength." She lowered her head, teeth bore before the one she wished to call master.

Rayne snorted for a moment, his eyes twitching to the darkness as Dab, Fleet, and Hidari came out. Dab was black; his muzzle, ears, feet, and tip of tail were white. His eyes were a glimmering green. He lifted his head and gave his greeting "My name is Dab, Son of the mighty Vicious, I, too, wish to join your pack."

"I am Fleet, Son of Vicious and Selas, I would also be honored to join your pack." The white male lowered his body, his ears held back in respect to Rayne. Like dab, his feet were colored, but his was a soft gray. Glacier blue eyes shifted down, to avoid eye contact, but help his gaze on the smaller wolf's nose.

The last was Hidari, the cheetah's strong orange eyes caught the males, but for a second, she was looking through him, not at him, and then to his muzzle. "My name is Hidari, Daughter of the beautiful Rasheetah. As a predator, I would also be glad to join your pack."

There was a moment of silent from the one all had come to see. Golden orbs stared at each, as if judging them. He was looking for flaws, mutations, anything to say no. But he could find nothing wrong with the warriors that presented themselves before him. A rough eye turned to Cynical, whose teeth were bared to the new comers. Although she knew each and every one of them, she didn't trust any of them. However, it was not her decision to make, and finally Rayne came to his conclusion.

"You are all welcome to join, but I warn you, I will NOT run this pack as Risen did, for I respect her for being strong, she was not as strong as I, and not as ruthless either." He snarled, ears fidgeting for a moment and a grueling smile came forth. Your children will be slain for weakness, and unlike those who retire, the rightful, and most honorable way to die, in my pack, is in battle. Each member will be consider a child until they pass a test. A test that will be determined later, and for each will be different." He paused, lingering for a moment. Each of the new comers eyes grew strong, ready to take any challenge given to them. This made Rayne's body tingle with a since of malice joy. "You will kill children, and the elderly, there is no mercy in power." All nodded in agreement.

Rayne finished, but he had oh so much more to say. And Religion, The wolves would follow a religion. One full of darkness. The children would be tested, adults would be tested, there would be no spies, there would be no converters, everyone would fight, and to the death.

Rayne

Soon the male remembered about his ally Crucifix, he had been gone so long, his memory was faint about most things after the vote. He snorted and smiled to the group. "Come, lets go to a safer terra." And he stood, moving slowly to the Soloughvien Downs. In tow was his now 5 member pack. Small, but strong none-the-less.
