Kibas

A quivering wet black nose was pointed to the skies as the clicking sound of claws hit against cement sidewalks. The rather large yet lean wolf dog walked with rolling shoulders and a flicking tail that was held just above his hindquarters. Not a show of dominance necessarily, but he could be quite the proud canine at times. His mind was set on other things, however, as he stuck his nose to the ground and sniffed along something of a trail. He didn't often hang around human infested areas, but he wasn't exactly one for the wild side either.

Suddenly, just ahead of him, a bridge appeared. It looked to be an old dilapidated thing, all creaky sounding and dingy looking. He gave a gruff grunt-like sound as his legs stopped him just at the edge of the beginning of the planks. He eyed the area silently after that, unsure of crossing this strange human thing. Then again, he could always just cross the bottom of it too...

Puff Bear

A small brown puff ball was just on the other side of the bridge when the wolf-dog appeared. He bounced onto the bridge not even thinking of conciquinces. His small figure looked like a fat or fluffy rat had started accrose it. Puff suddenly felt some thing hit his face and looked up seeing the large male wolf dog. He yelped and hide underneath him. Good hiding spot huh?

Kibas

The wolf dog didn't even spot the little pup as it crossed the bridge. Actually, he wasn't even looking towards the bridge. His head was tilted to the sky, hazel eyes washing over the clouds and darkened sun. By the time Puff Bear reached him however, his sensitive ears and nose caught the sounds and smells of a stranger, causing his hackles to instinctively raise. He was relieved then to find out it was nothing more than a mere puppy, running at him like a moose was chasing it.
He jumped up quickly when it ran under him, flashing his fangs for only a brief show before moving over and turning to look down at the little brown ball. He examined it closely, reaching down with his fluffed out neck and sniffing the pup in an eager manner. Harmless. "Who are you, pup?" he asked sharply, yet evidently calming down. He pulled back and raised an invisible brow then, "And what are you?" He had never seen something so tiny, yet big before.

Puff Bear

Puff puffed up shivering as the bigger canid's wet nose poked him. He suddenly let out a sharp yelp as the cold cresents hit his skin. "I AM SIR PUFF!" He said jumping up and running in circles making a "flying" noise as he went. He scooted to a stop. "... I am... a Pomeranian I... think..." He stared at the large dog with his big brown eyes. Only his nose and eyes were completly visable. His legs, ears and tail all barley made it out of the fluf.

Kibas

Kibas' ears swiveled and pricked as the small pup began to speak. He titled his head at the name. Cute, real cute... he thought to himself with a small smirk, before once again concentrating on the little dog. "Name's Kibas," His eyes followed Puff around as he flew about, making sure to stay clear of the fluff ball, before giving his multihued pelt a brisk shake. "Never heard of such a thing." he stated simply. Then his eyes narrowed. "What is a little thing like you doing out here? You do realize it's not safe?" He knew what the humans were capable of. When you traveled between the wild and the streets you heard things. Most stories didn't have such happy endings.

Nicholas

This was Nicholas' territory. He had claimed it in the name of the Night Division, of which he was a leader. He owned the bridge. He was an arrogant hybrid when it came to strangers. And he didn't like trespassers.

"You!" The big canine shouted. "Get off of my territory!" This was the only warning they would get before Nicholas would turn them into trophies on the railing of the bridge.

Kibas

Kibas was still looking down at the little puff ball when gradually, the scent of a stranger reached his nares. Ears swiveling to catch any stray sounds around him, he spun about to lock eyes with this other canine. His hackles raised immedietly, sensing a great threat. He lowered his head and snarled with a piercing glare.
No one who supposdely owned a human territory was going to tell him how to go about things. He growled lightly. "I don't think I'll be going anywhere!" he spat.
Bring it, buster. was all that ran through his active mind as he readied himself, adrenaline kicking into effect. Obviously, this canine was about to attack.

Nicholas

Nicholas grinned, glancing back at his massive army before returning his gaze to Kibas. "I think you will, kid. This is the land of the Night Division of the Shadow Haunters, led by me and Rayne. You are a trespasser. You had one warning, and that's all you get." He snarled, with a vicious smirk on his face.

Among the canines in Nicholas' army were his father Luke, as well as Kane, Shadi, Xan, Pepper, Lycaon, Castor, Alpine, Ivory, Victoria, Umbra, Monticola, Peng, Elijah, Enchanted, Polar, Click, Torpedo, Pearl, Chickadee, Nukpana, Eagle, Sparrow, Kolchan, Akula, Ransom, Xanthas, Archangel, Hannibal, Starling, Bain, Kuvis, Ralavi, Iavia, Nyx, Cronus, Hemera, Cameo, Ravenholm, Pandora, Crescent, Exodus, Caraway, Cascade, and Krove. There were many others, though. A few caiman hybrids moved to block the ends of the bridge.

Ravenholm, son of Sanctuary and Dark Era, great-great grandnephew of Nicholas, stepped forth. The insanity of both of his grandfathers showed in his mahogany eyes. 'Look at them, Raven. They want to kill you. Kill them first.' The voices rang in his head. "Gladly." Raven replied to them, waiting for Nicholas' orders to rush Kibas and Puff Bear.

Nicholas, though, decided to give the intruders one last chance. "What will it be, kid? Do you want to live to see the dawn?"

Kibas

Kibas watched as suddenly a vast array of canines and even a couple other creatures showed up. There were tons of them, but he didn't budge a muscle, let alone give a twitch. He flashed his fangs then, lowering his front end. He chuckled. "I highly doubt you should be calling anyone 'kid', old timer," he replied, not liking the idea of being called a kid. He gave the canine a taste of his own medicine.
"Too scared for your own good? Need a whole pack to chase off one and barely a half? Wow, I'de say that's a sign of a coward." he simply stated, remaining quite cool for the situation. 'Just another fake canine.' he thought silently, mouthing the words to himself though it was not at all meant to be kept a secret to himself.

Nicholas

Nicholas laughed at Kibas. 'What a foolish pup.' He thought to himself. "Listen, kid, the only reason my friends are here is because they're a loyal pack. You probably wouldn't understand that concept. They'd gladly kill anyone who trespasses on my territory." He stated, holding his head high. He most certainly wasn't afraid. He was just smart. Indeed, Nicholas was the half-brother of Tainted, one of the most notorious wolves in the entire Valley.

Ravenholm was getting tired of waiting for his leader's signal. The black wolf twitched his head, eyes darting around, before he lunged for Kibas. "Kill him!" He ordered.

The squad looked at Nicholas, who simply nodded. The leader then charged the intruder, snapping at his neck. Xanthas, Kolchan, Akula and Ransom all went for Kibas' sides, trying to close in on him.

Ravenholm's full siblings, Cameo and Pandora, pounced for Puff Bear. These canines had trespassed on Shadow Haunter territory, and the Shadow Haunters would make sure they wouldn't leave alive.

Kibas

Kibas watched Nicholas with a pair of keen narrowed eyes. "Ah, so you make them do the dirty work? Bet they didn't see that part," He knew how these canines could be. They always stuck together, acting as though they're one big happy family. Well he doubted half of them were, and he guessed now would be the time to find out.
At the first sign and twinge of muscle from Ravenholm, he remembered Puff Bear and spun, catching the pup's poofy scruff in midspin. He then leapt off the ground with great force, feeling the dull, thanks to his thicker coat, scraping of fangs and whatnot as he heaved his body down the hill straight for the river, where he stumbled at the bottom and somehow found himself flinging Puff Bear away. He snarled as he landed with a splash in the waters, which were thankfully not too rough, and began doggy paddling against what little current there was.

Nicholas

Nicholas grinned at the wolfdog, chuckling as he leapt. The coward. "They're my family. We stand beside each other." He said with that evil smirk on his face. He was related to many of the wolves here. They truly were his family.

Ravenholm looked at his great-great granduncle before his gaze once again landed on Kibas. "Who's the coward now, punk?!" He laughed maniacally. 'He's the coward, Raven. You showed him.' "Yeah, I did, didn't I?"

Kibas

Kibas took long vigorous strokes to reach the opposite side of the river. He got there in no time, and shook himself off briskly before spinning about once again to face the one called Nicholas. "Then why aren't you helping your family? Why don't you come down here yourself so I can lay my fangs in your rump?" he spat loudly, laughing to himself. His tail waved proudly, lifting his head higher. Since when did he have to listen to them? He shook his head. "I guess that makes two cowards." He then turned to Ravenholm with a snarl. "Punk is more than what you'll ever amount to, brat!" he grinned toothily.

Nicholas

Nicholas chuckled, looking down at the wet wolfdog. He was helping his family quite a bit. Nicholas, the leader, was the one who went for Kibas' face and throat. "I have no need to come down there. My family is up her with me. I'm fine up here with them, thanks." He said cockily, his tail waving high.

Ravenholm bared his fangs. "Then I'm fine with being a street thug, kid." He stated with a vicious snarl and a maniacal grin.

Kibas

Kibas snorted and with a flick of his tail, ran up the river and out of sight.

Puff Bear

Puff growled at the big dogs. he started to yap. He was only 7 weeks old and didn't know nothing. He charged the big wolf, hit his leg and bounced off. Not a mark in his place. He continued to yap away at the big wolf.
