Jess

Jess was out exploring the city with her siblings, Mike, Scarlet, and Tony. Her half siblings, Talia and William, who had been here longer we're showing them around. They had just made it here. The oldest sibling Talia was leading the way. From oldest to youngest was Tony, Jess, William, Mike, and Scarlet.

Dawn, Reba, and Tom we're out with Rose looking for Isabella. Rose had left the younger group members at the bridge to go look some more for Isabella. They spotted the other group of teens. Dawn recognized two of them from the group that took her sister. She looked at them eyes narrowed. "Where's my sister,"she asked voice cold. She had a gun in her pocket.

Talia glared at her. "I don't know,"she lied with a smirk. The others we're quiet as some glared at Dawn, or just didn't do anything.

Luke & Others

Luke, now fifteen years old, was the self-appointed leader, much to the dismay of his siblings and cousins. They saw him as arrogant and arbitrary. Although they really didn't have a choice but to follow him at this point.

He led the group onto the bridge. Kendra and Andrei, his triplet sister and brother, the latter of which was blind, walked behind him. Martin, Natalya, Klavdia and Maxim, their nine-year-old cousins, lagged behind.

"Hey, hey, what's going on?" Luke asked when he saw the confrontation between Dawn and Talia.

Dawn

Dawn turned to see Luke and his family. "Their family is holding Isabella hostage. You most likely know her. She lived in that house over there with a man named Kanan,"she said pointing to the house on the bank. She glared at Talia again. She wasn't afraid that she was outnumbered by the larger group. She would do anything to get her sister back.

Talia smirked now deciding to have some fun. "Whos to say shes even alive still,"she said trying to make Dawn even madder. If it came to a fight her and the others could easily outnumber Dawn and her two friends.

William looked to his sister. "Talia leave her alone. She's just worried about her friend that Sam's holding hostage. Theres no reason to be cruel,"he said giving away that Isabella was still alive. He didn't like what his brother had done. Some of his siblings agreed with him too.

Luke & Others

Martin's eyes widened. He knew of Isabella. That was the girl who lived at his parents' house. "I know her. I didn't know she was missing." The Russian child stated timidly.

Luke crossed his arms, looking pointedly at Talia. "Ah, yes. Hey bitch, give the kid back." He ordered firmly. "My father is a member of Akula, and he can kick your ass for kidnapping the girl."

Jess

Scarlet was feeling nervous now. She really didn't want to fight with this other group. She came forward her movements fluid, and somewhat graceful like feline. Her bright red hair shone out clearly in the sun. "Look we don't want no trouble. If you want the girl back take it up with my half brother Sam who took her not us,"she said looking pointedly at Talia to make her keep her mouth shut.

Talia glared at her. She wasn't ordered by no one. "I wonder who let these kids off their leashes,"she said after Scarlet had spoke.

Dawn glared at them. "Your vile you know that! You don't even know who these people are, and your gonna go and say that. People like you don't deserve to live,"she said venomness hatred in her voice.

Luke & Others

Luke raised an eyebrow. "Really? It looks to me like you're just asking for trouble. You let that kid go or you tell your half-brother Sam to get his ass over here." He said brusquely, quickly turning his gaze to Talia. "Shut your mouth, freak. We let ourselves off of our leashes." He retorted curtly.

The humans weren't the only ones here. The Night Division of the Shadow Haunters had recently claimed this bridge. Nicholas, one of the two leaders, stalked toward the group. His eyes were locked onto them. His father, a hybrid named Luke, backed him up. So did Kane, Shadi and Peng. If the humans didn't leave, they'd be dragged out, lifeless.

Talia

Talia glared at Luke. "We don't order our leader around he orders us. Unlike you we work like a real group is suppose to. Not to mention we respect our elders,"she said angerly.

Scarlet said nothing as she stepped back. "Guys lets go,"she said now noticing the animals. She turned to leave. The others following suite.

Dawn was worried now. Would she ever see her sister again? She stood there watching the other group as they began to leave. Reba and Tom standing next to her.

Luke

Luke barely noticed the animals behind him. "No, that's not how a 'real group' works. The leader isn't supposed to order his stupid minions around. He's supposed to respect you too. So if you tell him to get his ass over here, he'd better get his ass over here." He stated curtly, still too focused on telling these kids off to notice Nicholas.

Scarlet

Scarlet turned to look back at Luke when he spoke. Her eyes didn't hold any anger, but simply curious. However her eyes we're still cautious too.

The others simply ingored him.

Dawn however noticed Nicholas. "Look out,"she called trying to get Luke and his family's attention. She came over to try, and ward off the animals. Her pistol was out ready to shoot if needed. Reba and Tom stood back unsure.

Nicholas

Nicholas licked his lips. Luke seemed so naive. The teen didn't even see his killer behind him. Nicholas' hazel eyes were locked onto the human, just waiting for his chance.

By the time Luke could turn around, it was too late. Nicholas lunged for his throat, listening to the human sputter for mere seconds before he stopped breathing altogether. With blood-stained jaws, the big hybrid backed away from the dead teen and circled around Dawn, just daring her to use her gun. Nicholas was ready to silence her before she got that chance. Mo< Luke, the hybrid father of Nicholas, rammed Klavdia to the ground. He didn't harm her. Not yet. But if the humans made one wrong move, the little girl would die.

Shadi ran after Scarlet, growling and snarling, trying to block her from leaving.

Scarlet

Scarlet was stopped by Shadi. She stood stock still barley breathing, but made no movements. She stood trembling.

Leo and Reba ran off to get Rose and the others.

Dawn dropped her weapon not wanting to harm anyone else. She looked at Luke's bloody body not even sure what she was going to tell Kanan and the others. Tears welled in her eyes. First her sister and now this. She looked at Nicholas who was circling her. Anger in her eyes at the hybrid through teary eyes. How dare this wolf take Luke's life without Luke even knowing he was there. If only she had been able to warn him quicker. It was too late to save him now, but she would do anything to save Klavdia.
