Dawn

Dawn looked around as she walked along the bridge with her two closest friends.They could barely hear their feet as they walked over the bridge.Tom glared at the water hating the extra noise.What if someone tried to sneak up on them he thought.His sister Rieta looked around.She gasped when she saw something red flowing in the water.She knew it was blood, and it had came from the bridge just a few secons ago.She looked around widely trying to spot the person who did it.Instinctivly the three clamered neasr each other to watch each others back.Tahey had been trained by their older gang members.Dawn had a sword around her back that she used.Tom had a gun in his pocket, and Rieta had a kinf in one pocket and a gun in the other.They stood silent listening silently.They were suppose to meet the gang here later.

Dimitri Volkov

Dimitri stood on the bridge, not even noticing the group. He wore sunglasses and carried a white cane, obviously blind or mostly blind. However, he was armed with a pistol. He stood by the patch of red on the bridge. This was his doing.

Dawn

Dawn watched the man knowing he wasn't as helpless as he looked.She and her friends backed up to the edge of the bridge as they waited.They were nervous, but not completely scared of the man.If he was blind they probly could take him on if he caused trouble.They didn't like the fact he had killed someone due to the fact that their gang meant and stood for good.What would Rose do if she were here Dawn thought.Dawn was Rose's half sister and she resembled her a bit.If someone saw Rose and then Dawn they know they were related.They watched the man through narrowed eyes holding no emotion.

Dimitri Volkov

Dimitri, really, as the law said, had done no wrong. His actions were out of self-defense when Lark went crazy and attacked him in a psychotic rage. >[? The 19-year-old had still not noticed the others, but his sister's dog had.

Kolek, a dog of the Tazi breed, walked up to the group, wagging his tail.

Dawn

Dawn smiled as she saw Kolek.She was an animal lover so f couse she wanted to pet the dog.She stretched out her hand for the dog to sniff.If he allowed her to pet him then she did.Inside her coat was a biscuit she could feed the dog, but didn't do so incase the owner didn't want her to.It depended if the owner allowed, or if the dog sniffed it out.

Reita and Tom watched with a light smile on their faces.They liked animals, but were a bit nervous around ones they didn't know.If it was safe they pet the dog too, but right now they wait for Danw to test him out.They seemed to forget about the man and the blood.

Dimitri Volkov

Kolek allowed the humans to pet him. He howled excitedly.

Dimitri slowly began to move toward the howling, his hand on the railing. "Who's there?" He asked.

Dawn

Dawn smiled.She brought the biscuit out of her rain coat just as she heard Dimitri.She shuddered a bit scared to answer, but managed to find her voice."Dawn, and you are,"she asked not giving her last name.She glanced at Reita and Tom.Reita stood beside her, and Tom moved protectivly infront of them to the side just a bit.They watched him.

Dimitri Volkov

Dimitri managed to smile. "Dimitri Volkov." He said, a bit shyly. "It sounds like you've already met Kolek." He had memorized his family's dogs' voices.

Dawn

Dawn camled down a bit."These are my friends Reita and Tom,"she said telling him her own voice shy."Yes he's very nice.Is it okay if i give him a biscuit,"she asked.

Tom backed off to Reita's side.He wasn't as tense as before.

Reita smiled, but doubted the man could see it.

Dimitri Volkov

Dimitri nodded. "You can give him a biscuit." He said with a crooked smile.

Dawn

Dawn stretched out her hand to the dog for him to take the biscuit.Just then two people came on the bridge.Tom and Reita looked up smiling.It was Trista and Deliah.The two women came over to the group light smiles on their faces."Rose and the others will be along shortly,"Deliah said.Then she noticed Dimitri."Hello I'm Deliah and this is Trista,"she said softly.Dawn watched for Dimitri's reaction.

Dimitri

Dimitri turned in the direction of the new voices. He was getting a bit confused, since he couldn't see the people. "I'm...Dimitri Volkov..." He said slowly and cautiously.

Kolek took the biscuit and chowed down.

Dawn

Dawn smiled at the dog, and then looked up at Dimitri when he spoke."Sorry about all these people.My stepsister and the others will be comming here soon as well.We're suppose to all meet here,"she said thinking he deserved an explanation for all this.

Deliah looked up then."Speak of the devil,"she muttered.

Rose,Josh, and Joseph came along the bridge just then.They padded up to the group not yet spotting Dimitri in the crowd."Did yall have any trouble getting here throught the flood,"she asked Dawn.She was worried her stepsister shouldn't be out here in this weather.

Dimitri

Dimitri, in his stress, had nearly forgotten about the bullet in him arm. He clutched the wound, feeling the blood seep out over his hand. He leaned against the railing for support.

Yena

His seeing eye dog finally found him. She ran to him and pushed at his hand and whimpered. He hated it when he left her behind.

Dawn

Dawn looked up to see Dimitri clutch his arms."Deliah you have to help him,"she said.Deliah dealth with the wounds and stuff.

Deliah looked at Rose who called the shots.

"Who are you,"Rose asked silently.She had to knnow this first.

The others watched silently.

Dimitri

Dimitri shook his head. "I don't need any help." He mumbled. He then turned in the direction of the new voice. "I should be asking you the same question. I am Dimitri Volkov."

Dawn

Dawn wasn't going to take no for an answer."Look its obvious your hurt and need help.Oh this is my half sister Rose.She kind of mine and my friends boss,"she said with a light smile.

Rose recognized the name but said nothing."Deliah you can help him if he allows it,"she said her voice soft.

Deliah stepped forward.Her movement as graceful as a gazell."Would you like my help,"she asked voice even softer than Rose's voice.

Dimitri

Dimitri was obviously getting uncomfortable with their presence. "I said I don't need help!" He protested, stepping back against the railing. "If you're going to kill me, just do it now and make it painless." He figured that these people were from the Akatsukis or another rival gang.

Dawn

Dawn nodded silently to Deliah.She looked away not wanting to watch.

Deliah shot forward quick as a gazell and just as graceful.She attepted to take his arm and look at the wound quickly.Seeing the bullet she took her pack off.If he allowed she got a knife out,it was clean, and she attepted to take the bullet out of his hand."It might hurt a bit,"she warned her voice still soft.Once she was done she took a large bandage that she attepted to put on it."I'm sorry if it hurt she murmured.

The others watched.

Dimitri

Dimitri jumped back when he was touched. "I said I don't need help!" He yelled, breathing quickly out of fear. His heart was racing. He thought his life was going to come to an end in the hands of these people.

Dawn

Dawn turned to look, but not for long.

Deliah looked at him."Why are you so scared for me to treat you.I swear i won't hurt you,"she said.She took out some little seeds.Thye were poppy seeds."If you eat these they'll take the pain away,"she said.That and it'll make him sleapy enough for her to treat him without much force.She hoped he take it.Her voice never went above a whisper.

The others watched.Rose sighened wishing this was over with.

Dimitri

Dimitri 'looked' at Deliah, clearly enraged. "Because, for one, I don't know you, and also, you just came here and started bothering me. In my book, that's enough reason for me to not let you pull a bullet out of my arm." He said edgily.

Dawn

Deliah took the look, but didn't flinch one bit.She had treated people plenty of times and was used to it."Can't you just trust someone,"she asked her voice still soft.

Josh spoke up."Lets just leave him be.If he dies its his own fault,"he stated.Dawn glared at him about to yell something when Tom beat he to it."Why don't you just shut up your big mouth,"he said his voice sounding like a snarl of disguist.

Josh glared silently but shutted up from a look at Rose.

"Plus it seems Dawn and her friends will kill me and anyone else who tried to hurt you,"she said her voice still soft.She still had the poppy seeds waiting for his answer.

Dimitri

Dimitri shook his head. "No. I can't just trust someone." He was born with trust issues, and may even inherit his biological father's mental illness. It wasn't easy for him to just trust somebody.

He stepped back when Josh spoke. Well now he really didn't want to trust anyone.

Dawn

Dawn turned around then.It seemed that Josh had upsetted Dimitri more.She walked over to Josh a hard frown on her face."Why don't you go back to the house,"she said angerly.She wasn't suggesting it, but was ordering him.Josh looked at Rose who nodded her head.Turning he walked away.Joseph and Peter followed incase their friend and brother got in trouble.

Deliah sighned again.This time her face held a frown."I'm sorry about Josh.He has issues,"she said.When she made it to the word issues her voice turned disgusted, but still low."Look if i promise not to hurt you will you let me heal you.If i do you or anyone you know can kill me and my friends,"she promised.Her voice still soft.

Rose nodded her head, but then rembered he was blind."I promise too,"she said."Me too,"Dawn added makeing her voice solem.

Dimitri

Dimitri shook his head. "I'm not letting you help me. I don't need help." He had too many bad encounters with strangers to trust any of them. He held onto Yena's harness so he could feel safer.

Yena

She heard her masters voice the GErmen shephard now stood up and placed herself in front of her master her body against his front.Her fangs bared at the humans.Her tail up and over her back.

Dawn

Deliah looked at the dog silently.She made no eye contact and backed up a bit.She hoped Yena wouldn't attack."What if your arm gets infected, and you lose it,"she said trying to argue silently.If their was a way to help someone she was going to try at least.

The others watched.Dawn wishing she had another biscuit to give the angry dog.She let out a soft sigh."Dimitri i swear she won't harm you,"she said although she doubted he believe her.

Dimitri

Dimitri shook his head. "My brother is a doctor. He'll take care of it." He said nervously. This was going to get dangerous. Subconsciously, he reached for his pistol.

Dawn

Dawn sighned."Just leave him alone,"she said.

Deliah stood up silently.She began to walk away, but then she spu n on her heels guickly like a bullet."I think you should get your brother soon then.That wound looks bad,"she said.Then she turned back around waiting for the others.

Rose and Trista followed.

Tom,Dawn, and Reita followed glancing back once, but saying nothing.

Yena

Yena barked and snarled. She stood protectivly over her human. Her ears flat back and she lept up barking but not leaving her masters side.
