Sarah McGillan

Sarah was running like no other. Lungs burned like hell, leg muscles feeling numb. Foolish. "Dammit." Sarah cursed under her breath, the sound of sirens roaring behind her. Sarah was thinking about leaping over the side of the bridge, although that was suicidal. She wasn't that idiotic. Shit. How in the heck are you gonna get away with this one? The girl glanced over her shoulder, her sweater clung to her sweat-drenched body. Now what? Now what? The girl felt her pace slacken. They'd get her now. Whouldn't they?

She had attempted to kill someone. What else. Sarah was pissed. That kid, that bully, had pulled the final strings at Sarah. She had caught him alone in a alley, and she shot him in the shoulder. Of course his buddies weren't far off, they dialed police and now, here she was. Now what? Jail probably. The girl was desperate, she grabbed where the gun might've been, but she had dropped it a while ago.

"Crap, oh, crap!" Sarah cursed, she suddenly tripped, her body collasped on the pavement. Her body shook with dismay and agony.

If it wasn't one thing, it was another. Slamming his squad car to a halt, he turned it off and locked the doors before taking off across the old bridge. His gun was drawn out just in case, though he hoped he wouldn't have to use it.

"Hey, stop!" He yelled out, covering the distance quickly as he headed for Sarah. As she fell, he tried to close the gap between them, and grab her shoulder to keep her from running any further...

Sarah

Sarah yelped, her jeans were cut, knees bloody, she was almost up, but then he came. What luck? She attempted to get away, but she felt too weak. Blood stained her sweater, all from her hand which had broken most of her fall. "Let go!" Sarah snapped, anger boiled her in blood.

Seeing that she held no weapon in either hand, Ryan hastil shoved his gun back into his holster while also trying to keep ahold on Sarah, "Calm down, miss! Don't make this worse for yourself!" He ordered. Using both hands, he attempted to restrain her by grabbing both hands. "M'am, just stop struggling!" Why do I always get the bad cases?. The officer mused in irritation. His side still hurt from where Kakashi had stabbed him, and trying to wrestle this girl into obedience wasn't helping the pain or his anger any.

Sarah

Sarah felt limp, what was the use of fighting? She pursed her lips, cuts throbbing with pain. Sarah closed her eyes, holding back all this fear that made her want to cry, but she was tough. She wasn't going to cry. Don't make it worse? Like it can get any worse?

When she complied, Ryan attempted to put a pair of hand cuffs on her. "I need to know your name." He said, in a less demanding tone than before. It was always great when people stopped fighting against him, and better yet when they didn't attack him.

Sarah McGillan

Sarah didn't fuss, it was no use. Those who did could expect a trip to hell. "Sarah." Sarah replied coolly, her blue eyes cold. "McGillan." Sarah pursed her lips, tensing with anger.

Ryan Sohmers

"Sarah McGillan?" He repeated, snapping the handcuffs on as he went to guide her back to his squad car, "You're under arrest for attempted murder. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used against you in the court of law." Ryan said, spewing off the usual stuff that needed to be said. This town is getting worse everyday... He thought to himself as he tried to guide her into the backseat of the squad car.

Sarah

Sarah grimaced. She knew it already, and she would've rather jumped over the bridge, she knew a secret place under it. The beams would've been a safe place until the police were gone, but she had been foolish. Fear had taken control of her muscles. Sarah gave a silent sigh. She would pay the price....

Ryan closed the side door and got into the front. After speaking briefly over the intercom, he headed for the Court House.
