ASHLiN GLENN MYTH

A somewhat tall, slender girl walked down a sidewalk over the bridge. She had her metallic red-orange hair, which was highlighted with blonde pulled back in a neat ponytail, swishing behind her as she stepped. She was wearing a light blue shirt with the black outline of a horse on the front and a short jean jacket over that, opened in the front. She had her usual faded jeans on and a pair of new-looking tennis shoes. A glimmering horse necklace was strung around her neck with a matching bracelet on her wrist. Upon her head settled a leather cowboy hat, or cowgirl in this case.
She had since turned to walk down to the old dilapidated bridge, which she had never really noticed before. A stranger place to find her at, but right now all she wanted to do was spend some much needed time with her canine, who trotted at her side.

The dog was a Border collie, black and white, with a set of unique slate blue-gray eyes. She wore an off-white bandanna around her neck and a glittering silver collar below that which dangled with the bits of metal that had her name and owner's adress.
Her ears were pricked and swiveling, alert. Her tongue lolled out of her mouth as she studdied the land, this new land, a bit in the need of fixing up to say the least. She wasn't used to towns and cities.

The two soon ended up at the beginning of the old wooden bridge and that's where they stopped. Ashlin stood there looking down over to the grounds below, shuddering lightly at the thought of falling. "Mb" she stated, reaching down to pat the canine on the head. Myth gave a light bark, panting even harder and reaching up to the old railing of the bridge to peer around, with her fore paws securely placed on the wood. It was a nice, bright day out. The perfect day for a good walk.

Solange

Deep mocha voids watched from afar. Safely tucked away in some brush, scarcer brush. But enough brush to cover the Quarb mare. She was a long way from the thick woods she thrives in. But she ws happy, taking a long stroll away from home. Audits twisted cautiosly, listning for anything coming up behind her. Her right foreleg pawed at the ground gently, and sighlently. Studying the two-legged species was entertaining. What was even more entertaining is seeing them with their dogs.

Moments passed. After watching the canine and two-legged girl for a while she grew bored from where she stood. Carefully, and hesitently. And even more carefully, she moved from the brushed area where she had been. Dark voids watched the girl. Her hat was really interesting. After stepping from her place, she was almost fully visible, just her haunches remained covered by the berm. Quiet, but able to be heard, she let loose a little whinny. Shortly after, her tassels were rearranged from a perky head-toss.

ASHLiN MYTH

Ashlin had her clear green eyes focused in on the land below the bridge. She watched quietly as the water lapped at the sides of the river, being slurped downstream as if in a straw. A deep sigh was released from her mouth as she carefully leaned her arms on the wooden beam, being sure it was sturdy enough first off before proceeding.

Unlike Ashlin, the canine next to her noticed the bushes stirring not far off. Growling lightly, she lowered onto all fours, teetering a bit as she turned and stared hard at the underbrush. She could smell something; it smelled of horse, a scent she was all too familier with. Her growling ceased, but not until it got the attention of her awe-struck owner. "What's up Ms. Myth?" Ashlin asked the dog as she turned her head, just in time to see the horse emerge halfway from the bushes. She narrowed an eye a bit at the sight, wondering why a horse would come so close to such society. Maybe it was owned? Ashlin couldn't be sure. Anything could have happened, or else this was just a wild equine. "Play nice," she then spoke, tilting her hat down a bit to shield her eyes from the sun overhead. She noticed it moved a good bit since they first started their walk. Oh well, Ashlin didn't have anything to do anyway.
Turning now, she simply stood and watched the horse with a curious look, but Myth's was more of hard determination. Stalking forward a bit, she lowered her head and flicked her tail. "Who're you?" she asked, her banner curled and lifted above her back. Not in a display of dominance, for that wasn't what Myth was about.

Solange

Shaking her tassels from her neck gave her a ruffled apperence, sort of pony-ish looking. But she was too big to be a pony, 15.2 hands to be exact. Solange watched the dor come closer. She'd seen dogs long, long ago when she was near a ranch. The ones she knew were obnoxious, and nippy. But this one actually talked to her instead of chasing her, and nipping at her hocks.

After hearing the ebon and white dipped Border collie, she blinked. "Solange, you?" She replied, slightly awed at the gentle dog. Solange gave a few swishes to her own multi-toned banner. Ranged from her firey-aburn,white and a couple streaks of black. Whisps of the three different colors, were mixed time and time again with every swish.

Solange briefly looked over at the human damel. Keeping a curious eye on her. But more importantly, she looked the dog in the eye. Her slate eyes caught Solange's attention. How unique.

ASHLiN MYTH

Myth stood back and watched the horse with as much caution as curiousity. She looked the equine over, taking in the color, features and all that other stuff, then sniffed the air hard to store the scent in her mind. Then she ruffled her own fur up, the waves a bit messy already. "I am Myth," she spoke, her voice feminine and calm. If it was any other time, Myth might have been tripping head over paws to play with the horse like the ones at the ranch, more along the lines of 'herding' them, but Ashlin had told her to behave in a sense. She never went against Ashlin's orders.
"My human is Ashlin. Why are you here?" she asked, the sight of the mare easing her mind a bit. It made her think back to the ranch in Montana. Good days, they were, but now she could look forward to the new.

Ashlin stood there silently, watching as the two conversed. She wished she could understand what they were saying, but then if she could, what woudl the fun in that be? It was nice enough just to guess. If Ashlin's ranch had been finished, she might have even tried her hand at taking the mare back, but alas, the ranch wasn't completed yet.

Solange

Auburn dipped audits swiveled atop her chisled dreambox. Quickly, they perked foreward. Listning to Myth say her name. "Myth, how distinctive." Solange nodded, liking the name quite alot. She lifted her fore right appendage dantily at the ground, boredly stroking at the ground. She was a working horse, she had to keep moving to stay happy.

Her brow raised slightly at the question. It wasn't an odd question, she had it comming. She'd ask the same thing if she was there first. "I'm exploring...I'm sorta lost, but I'll find my way back." She nodded.

ASHLiN MYTH

Myth watched the horse with a bit more curiousity, still not sure why a horse would stray so near to human lands. She pushed the thought aside though and sighed deeply. "Thanks," she simply replied, nodding to Solange's first words. Then she tilted her head at the next words. "Lost?" she seemed to stress a bit, not quite believing it. "Well I could possibly help you find your way out of here, if you want. I'm sure my human wouldn't mind me leaving for a moment," she then added, waving her streaming banner behind her. This was turning into an unusual conversation, if you could call it that.

Ashlin had since gone back to looking down at the river after making sure Myth was okay with the horse, a small smile playing on her lips.

Solange

Shifting from he right side to her left, she painted damsel let loose a soft sigh. Her nares flared a few times, snuffing up some new smells she hadn't taken time to scent before. The joys of exploring. Lost? Hm. Maybe she shouldn't have put it that way. Lost was either not knowing where you are, or not knowing where-how to get back-where you want. Eh, more explaining to do. Solange wasn't the best at explaining things the way she had them put in her mind.

Shifting again, embarassed she nodded her head in one direction. "Well, not exactly lost peray. More so less... pondered the mare with inseurity."Unsure of where I am-" Tilting her head another way she continued on. "But able to find my way back, and out of here, thank you Myth." She nodded sweetly, hoping not to sound like a know-it-all. She wasn't, but to Solange, she had explained it pretty well.

ASHLiN MYTH

Myth simple watched the mare, her head tilted, not exactly understanding what she was being told. So, she wasn't really lost? Suited Myth fine; she didn't think Ashlin would mind leaving, but she didn't want to chance being out in the valley alone. Yet.
Once Solange was finished speaking, she simply sighed and nodded. "Okay." she replied lightly, feeling herself becoming bored with standing there. She took this oppertunity to lay down on her belly, folding her legs beneath her comfortably. Then she just watched the horse. "That kinda is like being lost, though," she still couldn't resist saying, and then flicked her auds. Not finding your way back to where you wanted to be was just like getting lost, in Myth's mind. Lost and not able to find your way. But if there was no problem, Myth wasn't going to push it.

Ashlin was still looking out over the bridge. By now, the wooden boards she stood on had started creaking. She wuold probably have to move soon.

Solange

Drowned in stupidity, Solange snorted his a head nod. "Sorry for being so confusing." Solange stated, her banner slashed aginst her haunches a few times - shortly followed by a head toss, messing up her aubrun tassels a great deal. Her clever mocha voids watched Myth get comfortable. olange wushed she could do the same. Nothing was stopping her. Maybe she'd just...

The creaky boards distracred her. Her audits perked up alertly. Her dreambox raised curiously, her shoulders broadened. Her apperence looking slightly bigger. Her dreambox titled off to one side for a few moments. She looked pretty cute doing so. "Thats an old bridge, isn't it?" The auburn splashed damsel said. Her audits swiveled a few times. Maybe Myth didn't know. But if she did, she wasn't sure what'd she say next. Just a slightly random question she wished to be answered.

ASHLiN MYTH

Myth watched Solange, a brow raised. It wasn't entirely that she was confused, but also because Myth was a bit disappointed. She would have loved getting out to see the place more. She shrugged the thought off anyway and gave her head the slightest tilt at the mare's question. She turned her head to let her slate eyes rest on the old creaky boards, and then looked back to Solange with a nod. "I guess, it sounds like--" she was cut off as a louder crashing noise sounded, causing her to snap her neck around to see what happened. She looked just in time to see Ashlin hopping from the bridge, back onto safe ground. She noticed the boards where the human stood weren't there anymore, leaving nothing but a ripped hole in their place. She was on her paws in a flash, moving closer to Ashlin.

Ashlin, a bit wound up from the shock, stood there bent over with her hands on her knees. As Myth came up to her and pushed her head into her, she smiled and patted the canine's head. "The bridge gave out on me, Myth," she spoke, becoming happier despite the recent happening. Standing up tall now, she looked at Solange, and managed to slightly tilt her head in the manner a human would. She was still there?

Myth breathed a sigh of relief and then walked quite stiff-leggedly back nearer to the horse. "Yes." she then said, referring back to Solange's earlier question. No doubt about it, that bridge was unsafe.

Solange

When the boards began to crack, Solange jumped. Her legs stammered beneath her sleek haunches, looking as if she was about to leap from her position. She was comforted to see that Ashlin was okay. Still a little creeped out, Solange paced a little, shifting quite often. She hated loud noises. Very scary. "I see!" She nickered, her nares flared a few time. Her eyes has been a bit wide, now much calmer. But there was still a spark of 'WHOA! WHAT WAS THAT?!' look there. "Is she alright?"Solange asked quickly. She looked fine, but she felt it was a nice thing to ask; she did care afterall.

ASHLiN MYTH

Myth simply nodded her head. "She's fine, thank you," she replied, sending Ashlin a wary glance. Back where they previously lived, there was an old abandoned bridge. It was in just as bad condition as this one, if not then worse. Myth shuddered at the thought of falling over a bridge, or even through one. Suddenly drifting back to reality, she sighed, and then perked up as Ashlin began walking past her.

Ashlin had her sights set on Solange, walking slowly and in a threatless manner. She reached out her hand, cooing lightly, wondering if the mare would come to her. "Hey girl," she spoke, in almost an emotionless whisper, though there was a hint of life in her words. There was even a bit of chuckle in her voice.

Myth tilted her head at this, but then got what was going on. She looked to Solange then, panting. "I know someone you might enjoy meeting," she spoke, thinking this may be what Ashlin had in mind.

Solange

Her pools kept on the ebon and white Border femmora. She enjoyed having company, Solange has usually been alone. Except for the occasional run-in of other wild horses. "Good." She said with a smile. Dosn't hurt to ask.

Her brow slightly raised as Ashlin came striding over to her. But she didn't move. She didn't have a reason to. She was born wild, so she had no reason to be with humans. But no reason not to be! She trusted Ashlin, Myth approved of her fine. Her plush snuffed at Ashlins's appendage beng extended. Her nares flared a few times with an anxious essence. Her banner snapped behind her very quickly, making a slight 'slash' sound on her sleekly built haunches.

Solange looked to Myth for slight guidance. "I like your human, shes nice."

ASHLiN MYTH

Myth stood back and watched as Ashlin made an attempt at earning the mares trust, though she had a feeling the trust was already there. She simply nodded, and smiled. "She is very nice, unlike many other humans," she stated, nodding.

Ashlin now only had a couple yards between her and Solange, a silent smile on her face. She watched quietly as her hand was sniffed at, and then tried reaching out some more. She wanted it so she could pet the horse.

Solange

Solange shook her mane, getting the flies to dispapeer. For the time being...Anyways. Her chocolate orabs studied the girl curiously, glancing down at Myth. Her new friend. "I have no one to compare her to, but I like her best so far." Solange said, eyeing the girl again. But sweetly. She tried sniffing the girl hand again.

ASHLiN GLENN MYTH

Myth gave her head a small tilt, but then nodded anyway. "Oh, she's not like other humans. She's unique in her own ways. She loves animals no matter what." she spoke truthfully, her voice serious. "Unlike what I've heard of other humans," she then added, her voice lowering, but loud enough to hear. Everyone was entitled to their own opinion, but she knew how some two-leggeds could be. They hurt animals just because they don't like them, and Myth despised that.

Ashlin still smiled, trying her best to show she wasn't something to worry about. She kept her hand out, and then slowly went to brush her palm over the mare's cheek.

Solange

A whuffley like noise was emitted from Solange. Her plush was bobbed quickly before she stroked her cheek. solange enjoyed contact, since ashlin was so calm. Her mocha voids watched the two-legged fem, scanning over her clothing. And her hat. Very unique, that hat. She'd hardly seen people without hats, but she liked that one. only if she could grab it. Streaching her neck foreward, careful not to knock Ashlin over she nipped at the cowgirl hat. Attempting to knock it off. Solange grined, snorting every so often. "I can tell; shes awsome." Solange nodded honestly. She handn't had time to 'know' Ashlin. But she liked her anyways-already.
