Daggar

Daggar could sense the horses. She took a couple steps towards the place. She stopped and looked down at her clanking tags, remembering how her past owners had treated her, she shook her head, it was too painful. Maybe this place would like a dog to help gaurd the horeses from the wolves, she thought to herself. She sat down and began barking, a calm not threatening bark.

Malachi

He was wiping his hands free of blood as he came around the stables corner, and his eyes were cold and hard. When he saw Daggar, he halted and murmered softly Hello, there Gorgeous. He kneeled down so that he was at her level and offered his hand so that she could snif it. He needed more guard dogs around his place, and what better way then just simply finding them all alone? Do you want to come home with me? He asked her softly. He knew she couldn't understand, she was a dog but that was ok. She could still come home with him and protect his house.

Shasta

Shasta still clenched her teeth. The pain in her shoulder was great, but the motivation for finding her dog was even greater. She noticed a fellow human a ways away. She walked closer, but not too close. "Excuse me..." She began. "Have you seen my dog? He's a Saluki, with fawn-colored fur." She was unsure of strangers now, having just gone through a traumatizing event.

Daggar

Daggar Stared at the man, her eyes soft, yet fearless. She took a step up to him as he held out his hand, her tags clanking together. She looked up into his eyes as he spoke, as if she understood him. She then bowed down, showing she respected and trusted him.

Malachi

As the girl spoke, he held a hand up to silence her. When the dog came close, his hand rubbed the females ruff, her head and ears before he took off his belt and put it around her neck as a makeshift leash. Slowly he stood, and even though he was very tall, standing at 6'4, he moved like water. Those cold, blue grey eyes turned to Shasta, and he said softly I've seen many dogs, child. I Know not if I Have seen yours. Why don't you come to my house. There are many dogs that have arrived, maybe one of them will be yours. It was the truth. Since he had been there, two dogs had arrived, and now Malachi had this one. Oh the fun.

Daggar

Daggar sat patiently as he put the belt around her thick neck. She looked up at him, her cold blue eyes staring as though looking into the depths of him. She stood with him as he did, tsll enoguh to reach up to a bit higher than his knees. She was glad he had found her.

Shasta

Shasta gritted her teeth, trying to make the pain go away. "Don't call me child." She said in an annoyed tone. "Fine. I'll see if you have my dog. But if you don't, I'm out of there." She kept her distance and continued speaking. "And if you lay a finger on me, you're going to get it."

Daggar

Daggar turned and snalred at her, she was already protacting her new master. She would not let this woman lay one finger on him. Her eyes blazed firecly at her.

Malachi

Those silver blue eyes turned to Shasta, and there was something so dark, so frightening there, it made every man and woman back away. He was no push over. Fine. He made no move to silence Daggar, instead his hand curled slightly into her ruff. You'd best watch it though, girl. One wrong move, she takes your hand.

Daggar

Daggar continued to snap at Shasta her ivory fangs bared. Her eyes, cold, dark, feekingless the entire time. She calmed a bit when his hand curled into her ruff but not much.

Shasta

Shasta clenched her teeth and glared at Malachi. "I'd like to see her try, fool." She said mockingly. She stepped forward and narrowed her eyes. "The deal is off. I'll find my own dog by myself." With that, she walked away.

Daggar

Daggar tryed to lunge at her when the human took a step forward, but was held back by Malachi.
