Jake nodded and threw sand on the fire putting it out. He stood up and held his hand out to help her up. He waited before walking towards the Corral.

Once getting there he went into one of the houses just up the hill. He got two glasses and filled them up with fresh water. He took one to Avery and then went to the cabinet and got a few mints out about three out. He stuck them in his mouth and then got two more out for Avery. ''Here have a few mints'' he said. He went to the livingroom and turned on the Tv he looked at her and handed her the remote.

Avery Kendall

Avery watched as he threw some sand on the fire, effectively extinguishing it. Seeing him offer his hand, she reached for it and allowed him to help her up from her seated position. Her body shivered a bit after she had been comfortable and warm in her spot. Overall she was glad they were going. It had been fun of course, but she felt exhausted and sure could use a change of clothes sooner or later. At least a towel.

She walked with him to the house. She looked up at it, having not noticed it before. She figured it must be his house. Once inside, he filled a couple glasses with some water and handed her one. She accepted it gratefully and put her lips to the edge to take a few hearty gulps. Then she smelled mint when he offered her some. She took those too and ate them.

Soon they were in the living room. She took a seat, her pants nearly dry, and looked at he held out the remote. Shrugging, she took it and began surfing through the channels. "It's been a long day," she said, voice rather flat and expressing how tired she was.

He looked at her ''Yep, do you want to stay here? I have a few extra rooms'' he said. He got up and went to a closet in the hall way. He came back with a pair of sweats and a t-shirt. ''Here, they should fit. Their my sisters.'' he said handing her the clothes ''Theres a bathroom just down the hall there'' he said, pointing to the hall. He looked at her as he sat down again. He looked at his glass, thinking. Thinking of how he would express what he felt about her. He shook his head a coupled times and thought more.

Avery Kendall

Avery nodded her head at him, "Sure," she answered. She was too tired to even think about making the long walk-- which now seemed a trek, back to her apartment. She watched as he brought out some sweats and a t-shirt. Although she wasn't sure about wearing someone else's clothes, she took them in hand and headed down to the bathroom. There she changed out of her damp shirt and pants to put on the fresh dry clothing. She checked herself in the mirror as she took out of old ponytail and brushed through her hair. Her hair was now mostly dry although she found herself wrestling with a few knots that had formed. Finally she was finished. She came walking back out of the bathroom and into the living room where she took her seat again, reaching over and drinking some more water. A deep sigh was released from her chest. She almost felt like dozing off and a couple times she almost accomplished that. "It's nice to be out of those cold damp clothes," she stated in between sips.

He nodded. ''Well, what do you wanna do?'' he asked. Jake was one to do anything for a friend especially Avery. He waited for her answer. He then looked at the house. He didnt realize how big it was til now. With two people in it. He knew it could fit more. He finished texting his sister and looked at Avery. Waiting her answer

Avery sat there calmly. She could feel her eyelids getting heavy, fluttering even as she fought her tiredness. She opened her mouth wide in the form of a huge yawn, placing her palm over it in an effort to subdue it. Then she heard him speak. She looked at him and lightly shrugged at his question, although she figured it was obvious she was sleepy. "Well, I'm pretty tired," she stated, her voice as heavy as her eyelids. She didn't want to be a downer but the feel of the comfy clothes just added to it. She was grateful for the fun they had but she was exhausted.
