Isabella

Isabella came here to spend some time with her horse Moonlight who she kept here. Her wolf Dixie trailing behind her. She walked up to the mare to pet her. However Dixie soon gave a growl that allerted her someone was near. Turning she saw her half sister Dawn come up. "What do you want now? Why can't you ever leave me alone? I'm telling you for the last time i never knew anyone named Rose or whatever you said,"she yelled at the 18 year old. Being 17 herself Isabella didn't really care she was yelling at someone older....

"WHOA!" came out a shouting voice from not too far off. A girl of 26 was planted firmly atop a tall bay stallion- or at least she'de like to think she was. Her knuckles were pure white against the sheer force she had to put into keeping the equine at bay from simply charging off into something. She bounced around a bit in the saddle and somehow had gotten dislodged from her seat on the way back, since her mount suddenly decided to go crazy on the way back to the stables. "I said, whoa!" she said again, this time more straightforward and rough. Keeping her heels against the stallion's sides, she directed him the best she could down the wide pathway through to the barn. This was the first time she'de actually ridden him since becoming a 'temporary' owner to him, and he had proven to already be more than a handful.

Just when she thought she had him settled down, the sound of yelling rang out about them and sent the Thoroughbred into another frenzy down the walk. His frame was lathered as he faught against her, as though using this as yet another excuse to challenge her. He snorted harshly, side stepping and the like as he turned towards the noise. This forced his rider, Ashlin, to look in the direction of the yelling, and her eyes landed on two people not too far away. She huffed as she brought the horse once again under control, as they made their way towards the girls.

Isabella

Hearing hooves pounding near them, Isabella looked up. Shock held her face for a heartbeat before she made a move. Opening the gate to Moonlight's pasture bella got ther to come out. Sooon in a graceful movement she was upon the mare's back. Grabbing the mane she urged Moonlight forward riding her bareback. Being a thoroughbred Moonlight easily caught up to Ashlin and the stallion. "Stop," the black mare called to the stallion moving infront of him to block his path. "Are you okay,"Bella asked Ashlin while she tried to lightly pull back on Aslin's horse reins.

A few heartbeats later Dawn rode up on her horse White Desert ready to help if needed. She ignored Bella's glare saying nothing. Already she knew this wasn't a good place to argue wi th her half sister. Especially with this frightened horse nearby. Unknown to Bella, but her whole sister's gang of horses resided here sometimes in the same pasture. Most of them were their now in the same pasture next to Wonderstars.

Ashlin reined the wide eyed stallion in the best she possibly could as they passed the two other people. By now, she was sitting deeply in the saddle, repositioning herself so she was once again comfortable before the equine went crazy. However, Bestie was still not listening very well, and tossed his head with a squeal when he realized he was being surrounded by those same two humans they passed earlier. Ashlin was startled a bit as well to say the least, but continued to hold on firmly. The last thing she needed was to fall off a practically galloping horse.

Bestie gave a half rear when the unknown mare cut off his route. With a snort, he hastily began to pound into the ground with his hooves. "Get out of the way!" he squealed sharply.

When the stallion was finally stopped, though obviously still quite restless, she drew in a deep breath and wiped a bead of sweat from her forehead. "Wow, thanks." she said between breaths, though was a bit unsure on how much she really meant it. "It seemed like he'de never stop." She turned him around with the reins and, though he was a bit hesitant, turned as told toward the barn. She held him back steadily this time, looking to the two girls around them.

Isabella

Isabella smiled at Ashlin in a friendly way trying to make amends. She knew her and her sisters argument was what frightened the stallion. "Sorry about that too. By the way i'm Isabella Thorn, and this is my half sister....Dawn Thorn,"she said a bit relunlent to mention her sister.

Moonlight looked to Best Move with a friendly nicker. "Sorry i was just trying to get you to stop before you hurt your master. I'm Moonlight and this is White Desert,"the mare said introduing her and her master's sister's horse. Desert nickered a greeting.

Dawn nodded her head to Ashlin in hello. "Is this a new horse,"she asked timidly doubting from the was Ashlin rode him that this seemed the first time. A peaceful smile on her face she waited.

Ashlin continued to hold on tightly to the reins, obviously not putting her trust into this horse. She breathed another deep breath before sitting tall again. That had literally been a wild ride. "I'm Ashlin Glenn," she said, smiling to them.

Bestie just gave a snort, nostrils flaring wide. "My master? Psh, I would hardly consider her my master." he simply stated with a flick of the tail. He gave a gruff 'hmph' and pawed away at the dirt with a fore hoof, sending waves up along the reins. After all, she wasn't his owner. In his flat out opinion, she had made it quite clear who her favorite was. All in all, deep down he may know that such a thing wasn't actually true.

"He is a new horse. Well, kinda," she began, shrugging. "I've taken over his caring, feeding, and exercise since his owner seemingly disappeared and left him here." she explained. "This is just the first time I've tried riding him."

Isabella

Isabella looked to Ashlin to speak now. "Is he hard to ride,"she asked a new spark in her eyes. Isabella was a natural born rider, and so far there hasn't been a horse that could throw her off. Infact even Dawn couldn't ride a horse with a saddle on.

White Desert watched Best Move with curious eyes, but didn't speak at the moment.

Moonlight snorted a bit as well. "Well you shouldn't treat her so badly. Especially if shes the hand that feeds you and cares for you,"she said keeping her voice calm.

Dawn glanced to her sister wondering what she was up to, but she didn't ask already guessing. If Ashlin allowed her chances are Isabella was going to try to ride Best Move.

Dixie came up, but stood quite a distance from the horses knowing some were scared of her.

Ashlin looked to Isabella and shrugged a bit. He had been fine as far as leading went, but get in the saddle and he was a daredevil who wanted to do everything himself. At least, she had noticed for the first time riding him. "He fusses and puts up a lot of good fight," she said. "But he also hasn't been ridden in months. I couldn't say much at this point." she added. He still didn't even appear tired, though his sides heaved.

He snorted impatiently, not wanting to stand here any longer. He stamped at the ground some more, trying to vent his annoyance. "I don't need her." he said. He didn't even understand why he himself was talking so harsh now. Maybe it's because of that mare. The one with 'all the attention'.

Isabella

Isabella jumped down from Moonlight's back leaving her to stand by herself. "Mind if i try him out,"she asked Ashlin waiting for the other woman to either get down, or say something.

Dawn watched interested now. "Looks like your about to get a taste of your own medicene,"Moonlight said with a nicker.

A few neighs were taking up in a large corral that was used for many horses at one time. This was a good thing because when all the horses were there, there was 13 horses in all, two of them ponys. All of them were there now except for the two that were standing right here.

Shadow Wing was standing among some of the other horses by the gate watching the going on. A snort was sent clearly saying that she wanted out to meet the new horse around Moonlight and White Desert.

Ashlin watched as Isabella jumped from her own mount's back. She was a bit confused and even startled at first, but then realized what she must be doing. She was hesitant at first, unsure if she should let someone on such a rather 'crazy' equine. She gave in at the last moment though and with a nod, swung down from the high saddle and held onto the reins, which were still over the Thoroughbred's neck.
"... Knock yourself out," she said with a chuckle, waiting for her to mount. "But be careful."

Bestie stood there, lifting his head as he noticed his rider was dismounting. He turned his head a bit, looking to Isabella, the one human who just jumped from her horse. He shook his head briskly at Moonlight's words, ready to show her a thing or two. He stamped some more at the ground, rattling the metal on the bit.

Isabella

Isabella was on the stallion's back in one quick movement. Silently she clicked her tounge urging the stallion anticipating any move. Instead of holding onto the reins which would make it hard for her Bella held on to Bestie's mane watching his shoulder movements, ears, tail, and legs waiting for something to happen. She wasn't stupid on horses, and she could anticipate about any move because the horse's feature always gave it away. Muscles rolling meant he was going to jerk forward, and what not so she could brace herself. This human was going to make it hard for Bestie to throw her off, and thats even if he managed that.

Black Comfort watched now noticing the tension in the atmosphere. He came up to stand next to Wing watching with ears perked.

Ashlin stood back, ready to assist Isabella if need be, but really feeling she would be alright. At least, it sure looked like she knew her stuff.

Bestie wasn't quite ready for her to suddenly mount him, and gave another one of this infamous half rears before slashing at the air with his fore hooves and then taking off down the pathway. It didn't take long this time for a nice lather to form on his pelt as he bounded about, sending up dirt and dust into the air around them. He snorted continuously and after cantering down the walk for a couple minutes, he decided to throw a curve at her and suddenly, muscles bunching instantly, dove into a random buck in his first attempt at throwing a fit.

Isabella

Isabella expecting the rear doved forward hanging on near his neck. Than she simply rode with him into the canter watching his muscles, ears, tail, and legs. Seeing movement in the muscles that didn't go with running she held on tightly. When he bucked she managed to hang on waiting for the horse's feet to come back down. Once it did she slightly squeezed her legs around the horse's grith(stomach) section to cause shock. She would continue to do this till he stopped bucking at different times so the shock wouldn't wear off.

Dawn watched her sister silently. "Has he been trouble from the moment you got him,"she asked Ashlin.

Wing wanting out of the gate trotted a distance from the fence. Than the arabian galloped full speed at the fence, and in one jumping movement soared it her back hooves lightly clipping the board. Than with that she trotted over to White Desert. Dawn seeing this came to halter the mare to Desert's halter so she wouldn't run off. Than she turned back to watch Bella still waiting for a answer.

Best Move was beginning to get aggitated that this human wouldn't hurry up and release him. Snorted and giving an angry neigh, he dove into another buck, feeling her legs tighten about him, shaking his body this was and that trying to get rid of her like she was a pesky fly.
He flung his head back and forth as he took twists and turns, soon wearing himself out and becoming tired. He refused to give up, but apparantly this human wasn't going to so easily. Rage was indeed building, but energy was dwindling.

Ashlin, with a raised brow, continued to stand and watch.

Isabella

Isabella was trying to stay on Best Move's back as she went along on the stallion's back. Her body was jerked some, but other than that he didn't make her fall out of the saddle. If you looked closely you could see her lips moving as she spoke, and her hand kept rubbing the same spot. This was the best place to rub most horses, and she was trying to see if it would work on the stallion. It was right behind the horse left ear. "Calm down,"she kept speaking calmly in the same soothing tone.

The others were watching silently still.

Bestie snorted, nostrils flaring wide to take in sharp breaths of oxygen to fuel his energy. It wasn't working as quickly as he'de like, and he was gradually slowing. His muscles and lungs were burning and his chest heaved with effort. He put everything into one last buck before suddenly coming to a halt, giving off deep rumbling noises. He tried to push the words out of his mind and ignore the rubbing. He wasn't someone who would give into such leads.

Ashlin watched as the stallion eventually came to a halt. She could tell he was quite tired. She waited to see what the rider would do now.

Isabella

Isabella was still in the saddle when the stallion finally stopped. That last buck had nearly caught her off quard, but it had flung her forward, and just in time she caught his mane to stop her propeling fall. Jumping down she made to softly to rub the stallion's neck in soft o circles. "Be gentle,"she said before walking over to Ashlin. "Has Best Move been fully broken, or is this just some acting up he just started,"she asked wanting to know. Either way she was going to offer to retrain, or help stop the acting up. She liked Best's spunky little attitude, and she wanted to help Ashlin.

Dawn stayed quiet as she listened to her sister.

Wing went forward to where Bestie was with Moonlight and Desert following along. "Told you,"Moonlight said with a slight smirk.

"Stop being so rude Moon. Can't you tell he's upset and tired,"came the sharp rebuke from Wing. The arabian mare went up to Best Move, and attept to groom his coat in a friendly manner if he allow it.

All Bestie could manage was a hasty snort as the human jumped down from his back. His bay pelt was dampened and darkened by a fresh coat of sweat. He lifted his head high and turned to look at this girl who had held onto his mane in such a way and snapped his jaws briefly about him, knocking the bit against his teeth as he did so. He was a bit startled as Wing suddenly appeared by him, grooming his coat. He snorted again but nothing else. A bit angry to say the least from the recent letdown on himself.

Ashlin thought about it a moment. "I actually don't know much about him. He was previously trained for racing, and as far as I know, he'de been broken in well." she answered. She slid her hands halfway into her pockets and waited for what Isabella had to say about it.

Isabella

Isabella listened intently to Ashlin. "Well during the time he hasn't been ridden i think that maybe he's gotten used to be unridden than its like he hasn't been broken. If your thinking about rebreaking him than i would be glad to help, if you like,"she said to the other woman.

Wing glanced at Bestie as he snorted, but went back to grooming his coat. "You know just because you weren't able to throw her off dosen't mean your weak,"she said to Bestie with a soft voice.

Ashlin shrugged, but then nodded at Isabella's words. "I was thinking he had gotten restless from being cooped up in a stall or stuck in a small corral," she said, looking the stallion over. He was obviously quite unhappy, but why? "I'de appreciate the help. He's been so, out of it lately. He's always been high spirited and all, just not so challenging."

Bestie kept his head raised high, refusing to accept this defeat. He snorted quietly at the mare. "This has nothing to do with weakness." he simply stated, feeling her groom his coat. He was too wound up at the moment to really even care.

Isabella

Isabella smiled at Ashlin. " I'd be glad to help. The biggest thing i think he needs now is to build up or your trust. Maybe we could try working him in a corral with a lead crop,"she said softly.

Wing sensing the stallion's tension made to lightly bump his shoulder with her head. Maybe she could calm him down with a little game or something. She was only trying to make him feel better.

Ashlin smiled and nodded to Isabella. She then thought a moment. "I have actually worked him in the corral, a few times." she said, but then shrugged. "He's just a strange case." She casually stepped up to the stallion and began to rub her palm along his warm neck. "He's about due for a rest,"

Bestie snorted as he felt his neck being rubbed. Humans. Then he turned his head to look at Wing when she bumped him. He snorted a second time, muscles tense. He simply wanted to head back to his stall now and rest up a bit.

Isabella

Isabella nodded her head silently. "Well i'll be here almost everyday looking after Moonlight so if you want help with him, i'll be glad to help,"she said before saddeling up Moonlight. With that she rode off with the mare on a trail ride.

Dawn sighed softly clearly agitated about something. She put all the horses up in the corral. Wing snorting started to graze, but kept a eye on the two humans and Best Move.
