Adrian; Erin

With Dimitri and Hunter running 'errands,' Erin, Dimitri's younger half-sister was currently in the care of Adrian. He had promised to take her to see the horses today. The Arabians, Orlov Trotters, and various other breeds Adrian's family kept wasn't enough for Erin. She had wanted to see a unicorn, but she figured she'd settle on seeing a donkey. They were so great to her. Pretty faces, big, long ears...

And here they were. Adrian lifted Erin up onto the rail so she could see the little donkey in a private corral.

"HEE-HAW!" Erin shouted at the equine, confusing the poor animal. Adrian held a piece of hay out to the donkey, luring it closer so Erin could pet it. "You have to be quiet around the donkey, Erin." The Russian man said. Erin reached out and stroked the donkey's face, then looked back up at Adrian. "She's soft. I'm gonna call her Bunny. Here, Bunny, come on, little donkey..."

Kira, an Amur leopard owned by Adrian, sat nearby, along with two caiman hybrids. Pavel, a big gyrfalcon, sat on Adrian's shoulder, while Zola, an Orlov Trotter mare and her son Colt stood behind the humans.

Erin was wearing a thick coat and snow pants, along with boots, mittens and a hat. Adrian wore a black military trenchcoat, military combat boots and a Soviet lamb wool ushanka hat that was passed down to him from his father after the Cold War. In his belt, hidden by the trenchcoat, was a pistol. He wanted to be prepared. Especially with all the maniacs who wanted him dead.

Portia Isabella

Portia and Isabella strolled up on their horses. Portia sat apon a painted Gypsy vanner. His hair was black with a white stripe in the center going all the way around. Isabella came with her brown Shire. Most wouldn't think of riding these giants but Portia and Isabella loved these breeds. They planned on buying a girl each. They were followed in by three dogs and a lamb. Portia hopped off and walked with Ramex her horse, Genra her German Shepherd puppy and Fontra her lamb, all at her side. Isabella walked with Rocket her horse, Nesra her border collie and Jack'O'Lantern following close behind. Portia noticed the little girl yell hee-haw at the donkey. She laughed. Isa bella turned to her with quistioning eyes. When she saw the little girl she giggled a little to. It was to cute to ignore. Nesra barked at the donkey and seemed to alarm it. Isabella turned to her and grabbed her nuzzle and started to talk sternly to the dog. Portia picked up her puppy in one hand and the lamb with the other. Her horse faithfully followed behind her. Isabellas wolf hybred ran a head and brushed against Portia.

Adrian; Erin

Adrian, like Dimitri, always kept a close eye on Erin. After all, Erin and Dimitri's father was completely insane. He was responsible for many deaths. But nobody talked to Erin about it, of course. They didn't want to scare her. There had actually been an argument between Shasta (the girl's mother), Dimitri (the girl's brother), and Adrian about whether she should ever know who her father was. Shasta hated to lie to her daughter. Adrian and Dimitri, though, were experts at keeping secrets. But the truth was bound to slip out sometime.

Erin looked behind her, her multicolored eyes stopping on Isabella. She laughed when the girls did. "Bunny is funny, isn't she?" The toddler said with a cheerful smile.

Adrian leaned against the rail, glancing at Portia and Isabella, but turning his attention back to the donkey. He was always rather distant. Today he was unaware of what danger his younger brother Dimitri was in. He was unaware of the danger Hunter was in. And not to mention little Eden. And he was unaware of just what Dimitri had done.

Portia Isabella

Portia laughed "Yes bunny is funny, is he yours?" Portia sounded amused it had been so long since she had seen young children like Erin. Isabella unlike Portia had never gone long with out children around her. Isabella smiled at the little girl. Portia looked at the multicolored eyes. Those were the kind of eyes she had always wanted. But now she wore bright red contacts. She appeared some what like a devil with red glowing eyes. Portia didn't look at her for long, she didn't want to scare her with the red eyes. She put the puppy down because it wouldn't stop squirming. She ran up to Erin snd sniffed her ankles. Her wet nose rubbing her ankle. She bit the bottom of her pants and started to pull lightly at them. The puppy was only a few months old and couldn't budge her if she tried.

Erin

Erin shook her head. "Wellll...Adrian's friend owns Bunny. Not me." She said with a shrug. "But Colt is mine." She pointed to a dark buckskin Orlov Trotter X Kentucky Mountain Saddle colt standing next to a grulla Orlov Trotter mare. "His mama's name is Zola. Zola is Dimitri's horse. Dimitri is my brother." She explained.

"Sorry. She talks a lot." Adrian said to Portia and Isabella.

"Yep!" Erin agreed. "I do talk a lot! And Eirwen is mine too. She's part yacare caiman, part spectacled caiman, and part American alligator." She pointed at the leucistic reptile who stood nearby. "And look! She's white with blue eyes!"

She hopped down from the fence when the puppy ran up. "Awwww...you have a puppy! Can I pet her? What's her name?"

Portia Isabella

Isabella giggled, little girls were just to cute. Portia did to. "I under stand" she said pointing to Bella. She smiled "Her name is Genra. She won't bite but she may nibble go ahead and pet her I think she would enjoy the attention." Bella stood looking at the thoroughbred that was now standing next to her. It tried to reach her and sniff but the fence held it back. Portia turned and looked at it sadness filled her sight. The poor horse was meant to be free but then again nothing was made for cages. If some one had put her in one then she would go insane. A sight flew from her lips. She walked over and pat it on its nose. "Poor guy... You don't like in the cages do you... You want to be in a wide open place to run free in..." Bella nodded agreeing with her older sister.

Adrian Volkov; Erin Wild

Erin knelt down and patted the puppy gently. "Hey, Genra. You're a pretty little dog." She then looked back up at Portia. "We have some dogs too. Most of them are...um... What are those dogs called again?" She asked, pausing and looking up at Adrian. "Siberian Laikas." Adrian replied. "Oh, yeah! That's it! Siberian Laikas!" Erin exclaimed. "They're big, and they look kinda like woofs."

Adrian glanced at the thoroughbred. "Yeah, some people here don't give a damn about what the animal thinks." He replied. On his ranch, his horses ran around in a big pasture with green grass and fresh water and everything a horse could ever need.

"I'm Adrian, by the way." He then stated, "Adrian Volkov. And this is Erin." Erin stood up and smiled. "I'm almost four years old!" She proclaimed.

Portia Isabella Seth

Portia smiled "I'm Portia. I'm 17." She turned to Bella as if to say take your turn. Isabella looked at them "I'm Isabella... Just call me Bella." Her expretion became more stern. Portia elbowed her. "I'm 15." Fontra their lamb ran up to colt and let out a ringing Baa. Isabella Wolf x Husky chased after her and finally herded her back over to Portia. Nikura ran up to Erin and looked ta her with large begging eyes for some attention too.

Adrian & Erin

Erin nodded. "Wow. You're old." She stated innocently, only to feel Adrian tap her on the shoulder. "Remember your manners, Erin."

It was then that his phone rang. He thought about just letting it ring, until he saw who it was from. Maria. Oh, great. What did she want? He answered it, and when he heard what his former enemy had to say, he stared off into the distance. "He did what?!" He exclaimed. "Oh, shit. She's there too? Alright, alright. I'll...I'll send Viktor and Kat over. Just...don't shoot anybody. And don't provoke him either. You know how he is." He closed the cellphone and put his hands over his face. His brother David was just shot by his other brother Dimitri because David kidnapped the Dimitri's 'daughter,' whom Dimitri had actually 'rescued' from the same enemy who killed his sister. It was a long story that Adrian didn't really like to think about.

"Who was that, Adrian?" Erin asked, getting no answer.

Portia & Isabella

Portia luaghed "Its ok I guess I am kinda old.. Or at least from her point of veiw." Portia was one of those people who didn't care about age apperance or attitude. She was usally the one carrying the attitude though. Today she wore the usual Boys sweat shirt and torn jeans. Her hair was every were, beacuse of it being wavey it even stood up. She had brushed it earlier but it didn't do much but make it worse. Adrian answered his phone and she and Bella waited patiently. Bella sat on the diry ground and drew pictures with her fingers. This was usually some thing parents forbid. Portia didn't even pay attention. Isabella was dressed in winter outer wear. She had her hair in a pony tail and waving in the wind. Rocket walked up to the Thoroughbred next to them and sniffed it as if starting to talk to it.
