Starlight Enchantress

Star stood in her corral, standing out like a sore thumb. The dirt brown Morgan mare was sick, and most likely drugged to get someone to notice her nice personality, and then buy her. After the drug wore off, Star would be her same vicious self. Nostrils flared, and running, Star raised her head to look at the passing humans. This place is a living hell.... Star though, wheezing.

Sam

Sam walking by spotted the mare.Silently he walked over leaning against the rail softly."Hi their aren't you a pretty...Star,"he said reading her name on the gate.He pulled out a sugarcube for her holding it out.It shuld coax even the ferciest horse to him hopefully.He had some money in his pocket he could use.After all he was always looking for a horse since his last two left him."Come here and i'll give you a treat,"he said softly not looking her in the eye.If this didn't work he could try an old method that praticly no horse could exist.His father had taught him like his father before him.Passes down from one generation to another.

Starlight Enchantress

Starlight looked up, her dull eyes looking at Sam warily. Humans = enemies. That is what Starlight learned, those demon animals. When he held out a treat, Starlight remembered her hunger. Slowly, picking up each hoof heavily, the mare picked her way over to Sam, nostrils flared and full of mucus. Starlight reached Sam, nibbling his hand listlessly. The Morgan mare snorted, her muscles tense.

Sam

Sam smiled when she took it,but that was only a start.Taking a long lead rope he walked into the pasture.He looked directly into STarlights eyes and cracked the whip.He was showing challeng.He cracked the whip again at her trying to get her to run around the outside of the enclosure.He was standing in the middle.If she started to run than he keep on crackling the whip making her go faster.He wait for the sigh when she lowers her head and flicks her ear to him.

Starlight

Starlight wheeled around, galloping to the back of the pasture, bucking violently. Starlight ran around, her ears pinned down and fear pulsing threw her veins. Faster and faster; Starlight went until she was ready to burst with fear. Finally, Starlight's gait stopped until she stopped, facing him. Starlight lowered her head, nose brushing the ground. One ear flicked at him.

Sam

Sam smiled when she lowered her head.He turned to the side when the ear was flicked.Eyes looked down,and he didn''t move.If this worked than she should be approacking him.Stopping and than nudging him with a shoulder,or just snorting saying she was there.

Starlight

Starlight waited a few long minutes, before slowly approaching Sam. She nuzzled him, blowing on him. Her head dropped over his shoulder, showing her acceptance of him. Starlight was ready to leave, now.

Sam

Sam smiled.Slowly he walked to the gate.If his treatment worked then Star should want t be with him.Hopefully she would follow him to the gate like a puppy would trail after its master.He turned and waited silently.If she came to the gate than he tacked her up and put her in the trailer.If not he would have to work his method again.

Starlight

Starlight followed, and went into the trailer.

Sam

Sam smiled when he got the mare in the stable.He hoped she got along with other horses.He was probly going to buy that stallion he saw.Turning he walked over to the stallion to inspect him.In the mare's stall was a hanger trough with some water and hay scattered on the floor.
