Hooves slashing at the air, the Thoroughbred stallion reared up, his bodice buffered with thick muscle. Shadow, nares flared, orbs edged with ivory, charged around the wooden enclosure, this long appendages stretched as he galloped effortlessly, Thoroughbred blood coursing threw him. His ebony banner streamed behind him, tassles were fingered by the wind. Bodice moving effortlessly, his talons pounded the earth so lightly as though Shadow was a storm cloud. Muscles rippled under his pelt, cleanly showing off his Thoroughbred blood. The ebony stallion came to a abrupt halt, slamming his chest into the corral fence, a sharp crack filled the air from his pound upon the wood. The stallion pricked his ears, orbs scanning the human hellhole, nostrils brought in the slightest scent. Shadow trotted to the middle of the corral, throwing a well-fitted buck before standing deathly still, nostrils widened as he took a deep breath.

Sin

Sititing in the crowed. Sin made sure to sift through which horses would be weak, which one would be perfect for fighting, which for work, and which one for riding. There were a few good ones who passed, and Shadow seemed like he could fall into the catigory of either fighter or ranch horse. But his gender quickly placed him into the catigory: Fighter.

Picking up his number card, Sin started the bid with $1500. Ready for opponents in the bid.

The bids were scarce, no one seemed to want Shadow, because of his wild attitude. A man, the handler and bidding superviser, nodded to Sin, walking up to the man. "You give me $900 right now, you'll get him. My men will take care of loading him, if you wish." He said politely, taking a glance at Shadow. The stallion was rogue, and a fighting type. "He once roamed free for a year before we managed to re-capture him, he even had a herd. He's one helluva fighter."

Shadow eyed Sin supsiciously, watching as other humans came and went, just shaking there heads with no amuse of Shadow's demon spirit. Shadow, bored of playing 'stand here', began to pace around the corral, hooves plundered the earth as he broke into a uneasy canter, nares flared as he looked at the humans. Human horse! Puh! I'm a wild horse! I am a herd stallion! I shall fight to my death! Shadow thought darkly, breaking into a faster gallop, his bodice barely sweating. The stallion pushed to the limit, his appendages stretched to the atmost limit, his ears laid flat upon his skull. The ebony stallion was a black streak across the corral.

Sin

Bright blue eyes seemed to flash as he was told about his fighting spirit, but he had to keep his profile low. " That's a good bit of information to know, but no worries, I grew up breaking in wild horses. I'll have him feeding from my hand in no time, I assure you." He pulled out a wad of cash from his pocket, thumbed through it then handed the full pay to the owner. "I'm not one to like to 'owe' people for to long. There is you pay, go ahead and have your men load him up. I'd appreciate it." He stood up and patted the mans shoulder before moving up to the pin and whistling through his teeth. His eyes flashing darkly at the horse. Welcome to hell my good friend Was the message he sent with his look.

Shadow snorted softly, the man entered the corral, holding his hand out to the stallion. Shadow, now standing in the middle of the corral, craned his neck and his muzzle touched the man's featherlight hand. The stallion had come to lightly trust the human, and stood perfectly still as the human slowly touched the Thoroughbred's neck, clipping the lead rope to his tattered ebony halter, slowly leading the stallion forward. All was well until Shadow caught sight of the trailer, and he shied away, hooves pawing at the sky. Quickly more men came to aid, they blindfolded him, and two humans locked hands at his rump, forcing him forward. The stallion was forced into Sin's trailer, closing the door. Shadow reared, unaware of where he was, afraid yet angered. Shadow's ebony body sweated, the metal he slammed into made his blood run cold. Where was he? Where was he going? What was happening? Everything molded into confusion. The stallion lashed out at the sides with his hind legs, his body tremored with agony. This hellhole! Shadow managed to shake the blindfold free from his head, eyeing the surroundings with a grunt of anger. Shadow slammed his side into the back of the trailer. Somehow he'd break free...even if that meant for him to wait eons.

The man walked back, nodding to Sin. "You take care, now. He's a rogue. Good luck." He waved and walked off, he had more stallions to sell.
