WONDERSTARR

The tall dapple gray Thoroughbred stood silently in her small corral. Since her owner, Ashlin, didn't have the ranch ready yet, she had to make due with the Unknown Corral as her temporary home. Her plot was smaller, situated off to the side near on the outside. Not much activity went on where she was, which was probably a good thing for her.

Today was a cool day. The sun was hidden behind some silvery clouds and the sky had a gloomy look to it. She didn't mind, though. She enjoyed overcast days, especially when there wasn't a tree for her to stand under. And there weren't many flies either.
A deep sigh slipped from her lips as she stood by the metal pole fencing, dark eyes looking through the rods. She wondered when Ashlin would be getting back.

Castaway&Aurora

Rippling milky stained tassels flew behind the golden mare. Her banner danced to a sighlent, or nearly sighlent song. The sky was gray, giving everything a surreal look. Her head was streached out slightly, as if she couldn't get there fast enough. Her slightly darked audits swiveled hurriedly atop her tiara.
"Cast, whoah." Aurora said, clutching the reins with a slightly dramatic look. Today was one of Castaway's hopeless days. Where she was hurried and had anxiety issues, in Aurora's mind.
The mare began to slowly-slow down, her legs flickering high up in the air, marching to a along-gaiting stop. Her yes lurking everywhere. Studying the surroundings carefully. She'd been here often. It was a fun place for Castaway-Aurora came her often, always searching for new horses for her soon-to-be-dream-ranch. But nothing yet she found she liked.
Aurora swung her leg over the mare. Brushing off her jeans, her hair was up in a quiff, with long messy multi-toned dark and light blonde curls. Her low lights looked striking in the overcast essence. Her dark orabs saw the mare. She thought she'd seen her before. Lovely, tall, dappled mare. "Hello there, pretty girl." She said coming over to the fence. Her digits rsting on the rails.

WONDERSTARR

The tall mare had since begun dozing off what little sunlight shone through, which wasn't much at all. It may seem dark and dreary to some, but she loved it. It was so cool, so peaceful, so... That was when her head shot up as a new human came riding through the corral. She pricked her ears in curiousity and watched as the horse and rider made their way along. Were they familier or what? Wonderstarr couldn't be too sure, she could swear she seen these two before. She couldn't quite place them, though.
As the human dismounted and came up to her corral pole-fencing, she lifted her head and narrowed her eyes a bit. However, she felt all was safe, also considering the big lock Ashlin had applied to her gate, and slowly began to proceed toward this human. She didn't stop until she was within arms reach of the girl, and she began sniffing to take in the scent.

Fauve

Always trapped behind the tall, padlocked fence, watching life go by without her, wondering when Doyle would find it necessary to "train" her again...

The silver-dappled deep bay mare turned her chocolate eyes longingly out to watch the two horses outside the fence, particularly the one with the kind human. If only Doyle was like that... but her scarred hide told the tale of endless torture that her life held at the hands of that dark man...

She silently watched them, not even being able to imagine what life would be like without Doyle...

Castaway&Aurora

Aurora's digits left the fence rails. Not really looking around to see if anyone was there caring for Wonderstarr. But it did cross her mind that hopefully no one would scold her for interacting with the mare. She clucked a few times, hoping to win the mare over. "Here miss." She said, reaching her hand out to the mare to sniff. Watching the mare innocently, she awaited a movemet or a whinny or something. If she didn't come - oh well. Not all horses trusted everyone.

Meanwhile Castaway's perky spirit didn't leave her ground tied. Struggling to be 'good' while Aurora was gone, she took a few strides to a tall paddock. Scenting another equine. Her gold dipped audits swiveled, her orabs glancing behind her briefly, then taking a few more steps; sighlently. "Hello in there?" Asked the young mare, her voice somewha filly-ish yet, but adult like.

WONDERSTARR

Wonderstarr stared at the human, eyes not once straying from her form. She questioned whether it was safe or not, if she should trust this human, but something told her to. So slowly once more, she took a step, then another, until she finally came to the fence. She lifted her head over the top metal pole and tried to sniff at the girl's hair instead, avoiding the hand. She wanted the hair! She also suddenly felt bored, though curious, and began lipping at the strands of hair.

Aurora

Her pulled her hand back to herself, gigling at the mare who seemed to be enjoying her hair. Aurora reached carefully for the mare's neck to give her a friendly pat. "Well hello. I knew I used good shampoo." She chuckled, her eyes gleamed happily. Her right set of digits were placed into her vest's pocket.

WONDERSTARR

The mare snorted and then the wind quickly brought out a smooth neigh as she now began biting at the hair. However, she only lightly tugged at it before moving her velvety maw to the girl's hand that was in the pocket. Maybe she had treats? Ashlin always had treats with her. And she was hungry-- the hay simply didn't cut it for her.

Castaway&Aurora

She felt a tickle at her hand. Aw, what a sweetheart. Playfull, too. Aurora thought. Stroking the mares muzzle as she dug for treats. She did happen to have horse 'cookies' with her. They were some sort of flour and grain mixed. About the circumfrence of the bottom of a soda can. She tugged out a treat. Relizing her hair probably had horse slobber in it; oh, well. She rumaged her digits through her hair quickly, then pulling out the horse cookie. Quickly, Aurora glanced around. Hoping the horse wasn't on some strict diet..."Here you go, missy." She said, allowing the mare to take the treat from her hand whenever ready.

Castaway grew bored with waiting a reply. Shrugging, she walked away from the round, tall pen. Her audits raised quickly. Jealous she was! Aurora was fiddeling with another horse. How rude! Castaway two-beated up behind Aurora. Whinnying in a jealous manner. Stating how rude it was to leave her alone, and go see another equine without her permission! Uh. Humans.

Fauve

She watched them silently, Aurora's words and hand making her flinch as though someone had struck her, though of course the girl couldn't even touch her. She eyed the other mare outside her pen, wondering if this was some kind of bait the two-leg had brought, as Doyle often did. She was very often bait for something or other. It was only after the mare walked away that she finally gave a shy, wordless whinny.

WONDERSTARR

Wonderstarr continued to sniff and try in vain to get her mouth into the pocket, but nothing worked. She had indeed left a small trail of spit on the vest, though, which she paid no attention to as she simply spread it around more. It wasn't until the human finally revealed a cookie that she stopped with the pocket and quickly reached out to snatch up the treat. She chewed it slowly, savoring the taste that was so different from the hay. Small bits of slobery pieces dripped from the sides of her mouth then, as she soon swallowed the cookie. She was about to go back to the pocket when she heard the unexpected whinny from a mare not far off. She hadn't noticed the other horse, and simply watched from where she stood.

Castaway&Aurora

Aurora was off in her own world with Wonderstarr. She enjoyed visiting other horses, playing with them, ect. She swiped a few loose strands of multi-colored blonde hair behind her ears. Her neatly framed fascade aimed at Wonderstarr. Watchign her enjoy her horse cookie. She had more, but she'd make enimies with Castaway if she fed aymore to the dappled mare. Castaway snorted, her head tossed up i the air. Like a child watching everything. Castaway turned around, snorting. Her hooves made loud thuds as she turned anxiously. Hearing a sort of sad sounding whinny. She snorted, pawing at the ground with excitment of another animals near by. Heck, she whinnied. Her audits swiveled, awaiting a reply.

Fauve

Castaway's whinny reached her swiveling auds, and she slowly approached the fence, as though afraid Aurora would throw something at her or chase her away. She was tensed, ready to bolt should any of these proved unfriendly, but she let her soft alto flow. Hello...
