Pups

The small group of young female canines were lounging out in the late spring sunshine, all in one large run since they had all grown up together and got along rather well with each other.

Akina, who was the daughter of Cameo and Sheba, panted a bit in the heat. Her thick black coat caused heat to be something that she did not exactly like. Though, it was tolerable at least. If it had not been for her fluffy coat, she would look a lot smaller than most of the other females, with a sight hound like build and only weighing about 90lbs.

Alaska on the other hand was about 20lbs bigger than the former mentioned. She was pacing around the borders of the cage where they were kept. She really did not like the metal walls much. She would not stray from the people who raised her if left out, but they were not taking the chance. She shook her grey and black coat a bit to rid it of the dust that had settled there before continuing her trip around the cage.

Petal was the daughter of Sacha and Oreo. She took her looks mainly after her father, being very much like a Siberian Husky, though a good bit bigger at 100lbs. She watched everything that was going on through her big blue eyes with boredom evident.

Cricket laid there in the middle of the pen beside her sister, Petal. She was the smaller of the two sisters having taken her size after her father. Though, her build was that of her mother aside from having the facial features of a husky. She had the same pattern on her coat as her father did, though her coloration was a tan sable instead of black.

Sahara looked a lot like the wolven side of her family, being much the build of Windsong. She has the dog-like facial features though, not the wolven ones. Her fur is midnight black with a faint pattern of dark gray down her neck and front legs. She was laying alone against the fence that held her in. She yawned with boredom and then laid her head on her legs.

The three male pups were in their own runs, so that there were no chances of fighting between them.

Chiko took a lot after his mother's Tibetan Mastiff side of the family. He had the floppy ears and jaws like the Mastiffs and also the large size. He looked different, though, because his chest was not quite as deep and his tail did not curl like the Mastiff side of his family. Also, his fur was not as long as his mother's, instead it was just plush and thick and was a mixture of colors. He was predominately black with very light gray on his undersides. He also has tan marks on his face and chest, though, like his mother and his tail fades to brown at the end. He was a rather laid back boy. He lay in the back of the cage, not making a sound...

Kodiak looked like a miniature Newfoundland, weighing only about 95lbs and standing at 22" tall. The only thing that gave him away as a mixed breed is the fact that he had ears that perked up like his father's. He stood at the door of his cage and barked repeatedly. He was getting very bored in this little enclosure...

Whiskey was a good mixture between his parent's builds, though he did not gain any particular strength from either of them. He was not as fast as his father nor as strong as his mother, he was just average. He paced back and forth in front of his cage door, waiting for someone to come out...
