Shasta; Adrian; *The Pack*

Shasta was a bit nervous about the creation of the new dog taking place in her area. It seemed like it had the potential to be a dangerous animal, and Shasta wasn't so sure about that. Adrian assured her that there would be no trouble at all and that he'd take care of everything. Shasta still wasn't convinced, but she trusted her friend.

The two walked to a building far from the main one to check on the dogs. There were various kinds: huskies and similar wolfish dogs, pure wolves, wolf hybrids, curs, mastiffs, and all kinds of big, tough but still agile and intelligent dogs.

Zarya, a daughter of Anya and Windsong, followed the two humans. She was one of the friendliest dogs the family had. She often patrolled the grounds, making sure everybody was behaving.

Zombie, a large but quiet female Catahoula cur, sat still in her cell, watching Shasta with an eerie glare.
"I don't like that one." Shasta stated. "Look at how she looks at me."
Adrian looked at the dog, then at Shasta, and chuckled lightly. "You take in all kinds of messed up, bloody insane dogs that would kill if they got the chance, but you don't like Zombie? She's like a daughter to me." He switched his gaze to Zombie again, who was still staring. "Okay, maybe my scary daughter. Still, she's harmless."
"If you say so..." Came Shasta's nervous reply.
Adrian changed the subject. "We got some new ones in today. Some wild ones, along with a few huskies. I'd like you to look over them and tell me what you think." They continued down the hall, turning a corner to find another wall of cages, each with one canine inside, except for those that went well together, such as siblings, who went together in one cell.

Eeso; Sacha; tanya;kodiak;nicky and sasha

Eeso was all black with silverish gray chain pattern around his neck which traveled down his front legs which made it look like Shackles. Quiet an interesting Markin wasn't it. He was also 200 lbs and made of pure muscle. He wasn't sure about this. he didn't like being confined. He growled at them when he saw them. His eyes glaring hatefully. He was standing up and tail above his back. Why did these damn two leggers have to capture him. He didn't like this.

Sacha who was a pure husky and was black and white sat in his cage. His tail swished back and forth on the floor as he watched the two humans with intent eyes. He was just a bit weary of new people.

Tanya who was in the next cell was up on her hind legs with her legs on the gate as she barked and watched them. Her tail wagging.

Kodiak who was a bit taller then Tanya and Sacha but just as well chubby was running back and forth in his cell. His tongue lolling out and his tail wagging.

In the next cell were two sibling sisters Nicky and Sasha. Nicky was the black and white one while Sasha was all white. They weren't paying attention as they were play fighting.

Camden and Ariella

He could smell that most of the other 'captives' weren't wild. They played, socialised, even tried to get the attention of the humans, all loved up with the two-leggers that had them caged up.

Disgusting.

When Adrian came into sight with his female companion, a thunderous snarl tore from Camden's throat as he backed up against the back of the cell, glowering at the humans who gawked at him like he was a prize in a gameshow. A wild creature he was, a wolf hybrid, stocky yet nimble, carrying that feral grace of a freedom beyond captivation. His piercing yellow eyes did not leave the pair, as his hackles rose, ruff expanded and muscles shook, not through fear, but pure rage.

In the cell next to his was a pure wolf, equally as wild as Camden. Strength was clearly not her forté, but speed obviously was, for what she lacked in bulky strength, she made up for in sinewy muscle and extreme agility. Her coat is a rich brown-sepia, that fades into a creamy tan along her sides, and an off-white on her undersides. Her ruff and cheeks are laced with black, as are her ears and tail. Her burnt-amber eyes with a rim of black fur encircling them, were fixed on the humans as they passed her cell, unflinching, and burning with a vicious fire. While lacking in raw power, Ariella is gifted in having finer senses, with very acute hearing and very sharp vision above that of the average wolf, allowing her to escape danger before it catches up with her. She was not as vocal as Camden, only growling deeply in the back of her throat, but her ears were laced against her skull, teeth on full show as she pressed her body low to the ground at the back of the cage, tensed and dangerous.

Adrian; Shasta; Dimitri

Adrian looked down at the huskies, looking them over carefully. They were fine stock indeed; they would be a good addition. His gaze soon traveled to the wild canines. He noticed Eeso, a wolf/coyote hybrid. He seemed to bear the blood of Blacktip, Adrian's name for Tahti, the coyote he had seen wandering around, as well as her many offspring. He also looked a bit like the One-Eyed Phantom, or Vicious. He had very superior blood. However, where this wild coywolf had great strength, he seemed to be lacking in speed. He would likely be bred to smaller, speedier canines, to produce offspring that were both strong and fast.

Adrian noticed three newer canines; Camden, Ariella and Kobalt. Before he could say anything about them to Shasta, a fist came to his arm. "You like them?" Dimitri asked with a grin. His three dogs who had accompanied him on his trip followed behind him. There was Anya, a West Siberian Laika, Minnesota Silvereye, a mutt, and Kodiak, the only son of Anya and Windsong. They remained calm despite the angry captives around them.
"Oh, yeah. That one, that big male," he pointed at Camden, "would be great with the female over there," and then pointed at Demeter.
"I thought you'd like them." Dimitri said coolly, walking down the halls and examining the dogs.
"You know..." Shasta said in a low, unsure voice, "...maybe you could use Mouse...if you'd like." Oh, yes. Mouse, a big, fawn-colored saluki, would add speed to the breed.

Anya fixed her eyes on Camden. "If you don't stop growling, I'll rip your throat out." The dog snarled. She was a fighting dog when Lark owned her; she had won many fights against the champions. But amden might be more of a challenge for her. "Same goes for you, half-blood." She glared pointedly at Eeso.

Eeso; Sacha; tanya;kodiak;nicky and sasha

Eeso growled angerly and then watched the other loose canines then one spoke to another wild canine like himself and then turned to him. He snarled at her. Oh please, your just a mangy two legged loving piece of shit! Your a sorry excuse for a canine! He growled. The Coywolf growled. He was third generation of Vicious blood but obviously thats the side he took after more. He was also related to Windsong and Tahti. as well as Mayling and Torture. He weas proud of his heritage even if he never really knew any of his family. He lunged at the gate as if to show he meant buisness. Then he backed away growling and showing his fangs.

Sacha yawned as if bored with the situation. He watched the humans al ot however.

Tanya barked and her tail wagged.

Kodiak stopped his running and began trying to dig at the bottom of his cage at the gate. His tail wagging.

Nicky and Sasha kept play fighting. It looked quiet vicious.

Vixen

Vixen watched as the humans talked among themselves, but something told her they were discussing them. She was in the farthest part of her cage, unsure. Vixen had never been around humans before, and being where she was now, let's just be happy she wasn't totally freaking out. When the fea Anya spoke to her packmate, her witty coments didn't come like any other time they would. Yellow orbs watched them as her black auds pricked. Turning to look at Kobalt and Camden, she spoke for only their ears, her voice low so no one else would hear.

"Any ideas you guys?"

Her whole black body was bristling as she raised her head to pear out more at the humans, her brown spots showing under her chin. She brought her haunches to the ground, sensing no imediate danger really. However if one of the human dogs or humans got too close to her cage, a fang was bared out of warning, but more to reassure herself that she could still fight. Vixen was determined to get herself and her packmates out of there. The Shadow Lurkers needed them for the fight, and she be damned if she was going to let the Lurkers down.
