Dimitri Volkov & Others

Viktor led the rescue party through the main chamber and through a tunnel. The whole cave was cold and damp, and the only light was from flashlights. The group marked on the walls with charcoal to keep track of which way they came. Soon enough, muddy footprints were visible, slowly fading as they continued.

It was at least 15 minutes before they could hear voices. Damian and Bonnie's voices. Unusually, they didn't seem afraid or angry at all. In fact, this was quite peculiar. Bonnie's speech could be heard easily, echoing through the tunnels and chambers. "Do you think they fell for it?" Then Damian's voice, "Yeah, they should come anytime now."

Dimitri was speechless. One of two things could have happened, he thought. Damian somehow brainwashed Bonnie, or...she was with him all along. Dimitri got his gun ready in case of an attack, as he was leaning toward the second explanation since it had been such a short amount of time.

Faint light was coming from a far chamber. This was where Bonnie and Damian were.

Ethan Rom & Others

Sending Harth and all but Kong and Locklan with Aldo, Ethan followed the group into the cave. He knew this place well enough, having explored a good deal in the last several years; but the passages were so vast that even he could not navigate more than the first few without any lighting, and so he clicked on a flashlight of his own. Ignoring the steady chill of the environment, Ethan was entirely silent during the whole venture, up until they started to hear the others' voices.

"Send one of your people up there first." He whispered, not about to risk his neck after seeing how unstable and unpredicatble Damian was at the bridge. "Besides, he knows you all better."

Dimitri

Dimitri glanced at Ethan, grumbling. "And he's more likely to kill my people." He whispered back.

Viktor peered toward the lighted chamber. "I'll go. I know what he wants." He said quietly. Katia stopped him. "No! He wants to kill you! That's all he wants! He still thinks you took Dimitri from him!" Viktor pushed her aside. "Then one of us is gonna have to go sometime." He said gruffly, keeping his rifle ready as he approached the chamber.

Bonnie and Damian were sitting around a fire. "Viktor...uh, Mr. Volkov...we weren't really...we weren't expecting you..." Bonnie stuttered. "Save it." Said Viktor, his rifle aimed at Damian. "They sent their most important person? How foolish." Damian taunted. Viktor whipped the older man with the stock of his rifle. "Nobody sent me, Novokov." Damian was knocked out easily, being in an already weakened state.

Viktor then looked at Bonnie. "You have some explaining to do, kid." He growled tensely. Bonnie stammered. "I...well...I was kidnapped and..." "I'm not falling for that." Viktor interrupted. "You were with him, weren't you? Who were you hoping to kill?" Bonnie was silent for a long time. "He said..." She paused once again. "He said that he'd help me if I helped him." She stated. Viktor knelt down next to her. "Helped him with what?" He hissed. Bonnie put her pistol to his forehead and pulled the hammer back. The click echoed off the walls of the cavern. "Helped him kill you."

Dimitri listened to this from the tunnel outside of the chamber. He figured Viktor had it handled, until her heard the click and Bonnie latest words. "That's it. I'm going in there." He motioned for Anya to follow and slowly approached the chamber.

Ethan & Others

Now, Ethan was a very loyal sort of man when it came to obeying Ben and doing what was best for his people. But he did have a certain tendency of letting his personal matters sometimes get in the way, and right now was one of those times. He couldn't hear all of what was being said, but like Dimitri, the click of the gun and the lack of shouting voices told him all must be somewhat well.

To his surprise, Ethan followed them into the next chamber, finding Bonnie with a gun at Victor's head. Victor, a key ally to his people. "Bonnie... what's going on here?"

Dimitri

Dimitri aimed his assault rifle at Bonnie. "You've got two seconds to get that gun away from my brother's head." He snarled. Bonnie knew she had failed. She slowly lowered the gun. "He said he'd help me kill the Akatsukis." She said timidly, not making eye contact.

Viktor stood up, leering down at the young woman. "That's what we're doing." He said spitefully. Bonnie simply shook her head. Dimitri looked at Ethan skeptically. "What's your next course of action, boss?" He said sarcastically, still doubting Ethan. And still hating him.

Ethan Rom & Others

"The Akatsuki are being managed." Then stated levelly, but he couldn't say anything more than that without letting up Benjamin's secret plan. Restraining his anger, he looked to Viktor, while clicking the hammer back on his pistol and pointing it Damian's way, "Killing him. Unless you'd like to keep around a man who wished to see you dead?"

Dimitri

Dimitri stepped out of the way, allowing Ethan to fully aim at Damian. "Be my guest." He paused thinking deeply. "But you know, he might be valuable against the Akatsukis. You know, send him in there with a bomb, right? It'd get rid of him forever, and hopefully the Akatasukis."

Kanan soon entered the chamber. "And what are we going to do about the traitor bitch?" He asked, motioning toward Bonnie.
