Nikki

The large female, bengal tiger padded cooly throguh the trees. She wasn't afraid of anything because she was one of the largest cats in the Valley. Being a tiger, she was bigger than the regular snow leopard or cougar that populated this area. She had been alone some time now and was missing being with other felines. Muscles rolled under her orange and black pelt as she walked, her cold eyes focusing ahead of her. Nikki wondered what ever happened to that strange hybrid that had helped her when she was fighting the dogs and running from the humans. The stupid people she coudl easily deal with but the dogs had been a little mroe challenging. The stupid things, attacking her while she was trying to get away.

Nikki came out of the trees and by the waterfall. It wasn't frozen and the sound of the water tumbling over the side and crashing into the bottom was a loud roar. The tiger gazed at the waterfall, her eyes almsot mesmerized by it. Shaking her large head, the feline then began to walk towards the side of the waterfall, wanting to climb to the top. Nikki picked her way along, coming to the side and heaving herself upwards along the wall using her sharp claws and powerful muscles to oull her up. It took a few minutes to reach the top but when she finally did it was very pretty. Panting a little, the tigress padded to the edge of the river and dipped her tongue in, lapping up some of the cool liquid. Afterwards Nikki layed down, eyes closing but she didn't fall asleep. A sigh escaped her throat as she layed there, just resitng but not sleeping. She was still on her guard and her ears were pricked and picked up any sound around her. The tiger was relaxed and was confident she could easily defend herself against anything.
