Timeless Rose

A beautiful black female padded to the lands. Now that Jayashri was gone she had no worries at all. She was a rather large female with jet black coat and pale amber eyes that appeared as if they reflected her shallow soul. Rose stood still her strong legs pressing into the earth beneath her. She could hear gun shots not to far away, but it did worry her the lest bit. A sheepish smirk smacked upon her powerful jaws while thoughts lingered in her mind.

Jais

Time had passed significantly slow for the white wolf, who's snowy pelt was only altered by a streak of black running across his right shoulder and side. He never gave up his search for Tri-Tundra; not after he had that brief encounter with her. Brief it was; far too brief. He had no clue where she was now, but always the hope lingered in him.

Nose to the ground, Jais happened across Rose's path as he continued his endless search for Tundra. He almost walked right into her, so preocupied his mind was. With a start, he looked up and offered an appologetic smile, "I'm sorry, should have looked where I was going."

Timeless Rose

Rose tripped over nearly hitting the ground hard. She stood strongly again with a low growl until hearing an aplogy. "Tis alright I suppose," she said in a weary tone. She was lost between the darkness and the light as Kali after all she had seen and wasn't sure what to make of this white wolf.

Jais

He took a step back, giving her space. "Clumsy, I know." Jais said, trying to make light of his actions, though he felt it all sounded quite akward. "I'm Jais, by the way." The wolf still looked quite sheepish for nearly knocking Rose over. One of his ears flickered to the side as he heard a distant call; but he shrugged it off.

Timeless Rose

Rose eased her dark glare twords him as her uncertainy grew and reflected in her pale amber eyes that seemed to glow against the darkness of her coat. "Well Jais, it's alright this time. I'm Timeless Rose, but please do just call me Rose. Where is it that you wander from?" she spoke in a gentle yet rough tone.

Jais

He caught the look she had, and took another respectful step back. Good thing she hadn't run into his brother or sister... they were quite the opposite of him. "I am just a loner, to be honest, Rose." Jais replied, golden eyes flashing to the ground before looking back to the female, "How about you?"

Timeless Rose

She forced a kinder smile to him. He clearly ment no harm at all. "I am nother more then a mere loner," she said softly lowering her head.

Jais

He was glad to see her tolerance of him, though he still didn't dare move closer, in fear of breaking the mutual trust. "We have something in common then." Jais offered, allowing his own smile to brighten a bit, to further show his good intentions. For a moment he debated again, whether to wonder off, or to stay and chat. The latter prevailed. "Do you have any friends or family here? I mean, if you don't mind me asking."

Timeless Rose

Her smile widened as he spoke, but his question made it fade away. "No I don't. I was with Aloysious, Jayashri, and blackie until their downfall. Most of us are still out there, but I feel as if something is missing. I can't take the fights anymore," the large black female said roughly. She tried to push the thoughts away and give him another smile.

Jais

His ears perked up at the names, for he had definitely heard of them before. Two of his feline friends, in fact, had almost gotten into the battle. Auna and Snowden. "I'm sorry to hear that. And I can understand about the fighting..." His neck was covered in scars from his brother, though his thick pelt hid most of these marks. From the time they were young, Jais and his two surviving siblings despised each other; Nachi and Cavan. He had to be careful to avoid the duo, for they would take his life if they got the chance. They had already murdered his aunt Quamia. The rest of the pack fell to rabies and ill-fortune. But none of this he told her, for he didn't want to dampen her spirit.

Wanting to get onto a brighter subject, Jais thought on a different route. "Say, are you hungry?" On his own, he'd only been able to catch small game, and feed on the ocassional carrion.

Timeless Rose

She nodded at his comment looking to the endless skies and emitting a gentle sigh. She looked back at him in shock of the randomness. "I might be," she muttered bitterly to him. She didn't mean it to be rude, but her nature wasn't pure kind. Perhaps right down the center. Her smile grew and brightened her face.

Jais

He was rather startled by the bitterness in her voice, and took note to be more cautious of his actions and words, incase he might provoke an attack or something. He for one was very against attacking a she-wolf, even in self-defense. When her smile returned, Jais felt confidence to go on, "We could try the Bay if you like. There's seals down there sometimes."
