Bandit, Star

A gray and white wolf with grey rings around his eyes and gray rings around his tail entered. He scaned the area with his golden eyes searching. "I wonder if they are still around Star... it's been awhile..." Bandit said glancing back at Star who still had her marvolous brown fur with white fur aroung her eyes, muzzle, and paws.

She glanced at Bandit with her soft green eys and gave a small whimper but a nod. "Yeah..." She said sorrowfully and stood from her sit and continued on after her brother.

"Sivinith! Snow Den! Tolacca!" He howled and picked up the pace heading towards the den where they had first met when him and his sister were mere pups hoping there was some chance she might be there.

Sivinith

The large feline had given up that den for one in the White River Mountains. But recently, her daughter had taken over that one, and Sivinith had relented and gone back to her old one. Now she lay inside of it, keeping warm and resting, for she would have new little kittens in a month or so.

Her short, round ears twitched at the sound of the wolves' voices, whom she didn't recognize. However, it was obvious that this wolf knew of her and her offspring somehow. Instantly aggrivated and suspiscious, the snow leopard came out of her den, fangs bared and tail lashing. At first she gave a low his, pinning her ears back and ready to attack the two wolves she saw. But... her hissing stopped as she thought she recognized the two. Wary and uncertain, Sivinith spoke, "...Who are you...?"

Bandit, Star

Bandit immidiatly yipped exccitedly at seeing Sivinith and was about to run over but paused letting a small whimper be released from his maw as she bared her fangs at them and began growling. "Don't you remember us... remember I am Bandit and thats Star. You raised us with Snowden, Tolacca, and Auna..." He explained slowly approching her.

Star nodded in agreement and approched as well. "Yes mom don't you remember?" Of course Star still considered Sivinith their mother as did Bandit. Star sat however and stopped approching, she glanced at the ground and awaited for Sivinith to speak.

Sivinith

Her fangs were slowly covered up as her eyes roved over the two grown pups. Being very aggressive and intolerant of most wolves, she had never been very good and telling them appart. Her memory of Bandit and Star only pictured the two as tiny wolf pups of basic wolf colors; although the average wolf could see their unique markings.

Her ears came up now and she seemed very much embarrassed and ashamed at the same moment, "I'm sorry!" She exclaimed, recognizing the names, and slowly connecting those familiar names to the wolves she saw before her. She stepped closer to them and nuzzled both, purring happily, "I'm so sorry, I didn't recognize you! Please, forgive me." She said, feeling very bad now about how she acted.

Bandit, Star

"It's ok... we should be the ones sorry for dissapeering like that." Bandit replied just glad she remembered them. He returned the nuzzle and sat close to Sivinith wagging his tail rapidly. Star yipped gleefully at Sivinith's remembrance of them and was happy to feel Sivinith nuzzle her. "How have you been mother? And how are Snowden and Tolacca?" She asked enthusiastically.

Sivinith

She was grateful now, and shook her head, "Don't worry about that, Bandit. I am only glad that you have returned. And I have been fine." The snow leopard lifted her head now, "Snowden has a family. But he still has the personallity you will remember him by... he just won't grow up." Sivinith added with a snort, then said more thoughtfully, "Auna hasn't gotten a family yet, but she is the most responsible of the fou... three." Sivinith stopped herself, for she never forgot about poor Asplen, who never really got along with any of the wolves. "And Tolacca..." Sivinith's voice had an almost disgusted tone in it, "She has a cougar for a mate. I certainly don't agree with it, but hopefully my grandchilderen will grow up alright." Well, she was predjudice against every creature except snow leopards, to say the least. And of course, the few wolves that she trusted and loved. "They are all at the Bay right now. But tell me, how have you been?"

Bandit, Star

"Snowden has a family? Oh I can't wait to see it." Chimed Star as she listened to Sivinith speak. She was glad to hear Auna was ok as well. "Ah ok... it dosent seem like that much of a problem mom.. afterall as long as Tolacca is happy. She drooped her ears slightly knowing what Sivinith had cut herself off from saying but Star dared not say anything.

Bandit was so very thrilled to hear about the others well being. He ;aughed lightly at his sisters enthusism and then decided to answer Sivinith's question. "We've been well, were just glad to be home.. we missed you and the others." Bandit stated. He was completley honest.

Sivinith

She nodded, "That's very good to hear. I'm afriad that the pack of Dark Stars is gone, but from what I last heard, they may come back." Sivinith stood now, a big, smiling grin on her face, "Would you like to meet Snowden's son? I've agreed to watch him while he and the others went to the bay."

Bandit, Star

"Ah I see, well at least they might come back." He said remembering Dark Star and his pack. He had been hoping to visit Dark Star but if he wasn't around right now there really was nothing Bandit could do. Bandit darted a circle around Sivinith much, seeming to have a lot of energy like a pup might even though he was grown of course. He stopped beside Sivinith and wagged his tail. "If course, I'd love to."

Star nodded in agreement with her brother wagging her tail seemingly a mile a minute.

Sivinith & Ronen

Sivinith's eyes lit up, "He'll love to meet you! He's never encountered a wolf before, so you'll be the first two he's met." She explained, a bit of excitement in her voice. Then she called out loudly, turning her head back to a nearby, frozen stream.

After a few moments, a young snow leopard came bounding across the ground, flinging snow up as he went. He skidded to a halt next to his grandmother and looked curiously at the two wolves, "Uh... hi?"

Sivinith nuzzled her grandson, "This is Ronen, son of Snowden. And these are my adopted childeren, Bandit and Star." Though she usually didn't refer to them as 'adopted', she did in this case, because Ronen would have been terribly confused otherwise.

Bandit, Star

hearing the excitment in Sivinith's voice made Bandit all the more excited to meet one of Snowden's children. Once Sivinith introduced them and Ronen Bandit made his way over to Ronan, a huge grin upon his maw. "Hey! Nice to meet you Ronen." He said sniffing the air around Ronen a bit just to get his scent. He sat infront of Sivinith and Ronen as Star made her way over to greet the kitten.

"Hello." she said in a softer tone then her brother. She was excited as well but of course managed to keep calmer. "Its a pleasure to meet you." Her tail would wag to and fro as she looked from Sivinith to Ronen.

Sivinith & Ronen

"A please to meet you!" Ronen piped up, his confidence at once jumping up and winning out over his fear. He too sniffed at the wolves with his rather large nose, taking in their scents. His tail began to flick quickly at the end and a mischevious look crossed his features. "Say, you guys like to play games?"

Sivinith smiled and shook her head, "He's always wanting to play. Just like when you were little." She added, looking to Star and Bandit and thinking back to the days when they were young.

Bandit, Star

Bandit gave a quick nod. He grinned slightly. "Of course." He said with enthusism.

Star laughed lightly. "Yeah mom, and Bandit still acts like a young one at times as well." She added on. She gave a nod though as well. She didn't mind playing a game, it sounded fun.

Sivinith & Ronen

Ronen wriggled his tail in anticipation, flexing his claws a bit into the trampled snow. He was rather big at this age, not not the size of an adult yet. Still, his personality was totally that of a kitten's. "Should we play... chase?"

Sivinith smiled now, watching the interaction, "Don't go too far, Ronen. You know there are cougars and other cats around here."

Bandit, Star

"Chase?" Bandit said slightly confused but then put the game title together with tag guessing it was something along the lines of that. "Oh something like take right Ronen?" He asked. He did hear what Sivnith and looked to her and gave a nod. "Don't worry mom. I'm sure Ronen will be ok." He smiled then turned his attention back to Ronen.

Star laughed lightly seeing her brothers enthusiasm. Sivinith's words reminded her of the dangers hear and she noded. "Mother the humans don't lurk around near here at all recently like that one time we were all kits and pups right?" She had decided to use both terms to describe her, Bandit, Snowden, Tolacca, Auna, and Aspen. She then began to wag her tail once again waiting for Ronen's reply to Bandits question.

Sivinith & Ronen

Ronen paused, cocking his head to the side. "I've never heard of tag before, but I guess it's the same." He crouched closer to the ground now, his eyes growing wider and more mischievous. "Get ready to run, 'cuase I'm gonna chase ya!" The leopard declared, once again digging his claws into the frozen ground.

Sivinith took on a slightly more serious look at Star's question. "They've been here now and then, but so far it's been easy to stay out of there way. Fortunately for us, a group of wolves and deer..." Sivinith shook her head at the thought of predator and prey working together, then she continued, "...they killed a rather large group of hunters to the northeast. That's drawn attention away from this area for now, but with humans, you never know where or when they'll strike next."

Bandit, Star

Bandit grinned and turned darting, just hearing what Sivinith had said. Bandit picked up the pace swirving around any obsitcals that may have gotten in his way.

Star gave a nod. "Ah ok, you're right that should perhapes keep them away for awhile." She then turned seeing Ronin ready to spring so she leapt in the oppisite direction Bandit had gone landing upon her paws before running from Ronen at a quick pace laughing lightly. She was excited just as her brother.. it had been awhile since she had played a fun little game.

Sivinith & Ronen

Ronen ran as fast as his leg could carry him, using his long tail for a counter-balance as he went. He tried his best to catch up to Bandit and swipe at his hind legs to try and trip him. He was rather boisterous, but it was all in good nature.

Sivinith watched the play, glad that Ronen had someone else to play with for now, instead of her. She kept alert, listening for and trouble that might come about.

Bandit, Star

Bandit had paused for a moment turning back to see Ronan coming for him. He laughed lightlybut fell over when Ronen bhit his back legs with his paws. Bandit tumbled over and grinned. He got up getting ready to chase Ronen.

Star laughed watching the seen and she stood still where she was since they both werent near her at the moment.

Sivinith & Ronen

Ronen scrambled about and shot off in the opposite direction, taking huge leaps in his attempt to put distance between him and Bandit. Then the leopard changed his course, heading straight for Star. But before he ever reached her, Ronen skidded to a halt. "Dad's back!" He cried, and ran off to where he smelt Snowden.

Sivinith stood quickly, nodding to Bandit and Star. "Snowden has arrived." She too followed Ronen to meet up with her son.

Bandit, Star

Immidiatly hearing Snowden arrived Bandit and Star quickly ended the game and darted after Sivinith and Ronen.
