Bandit

He renters and runs to where the man was crushing Snowden and the nameless she-kitten. "Don't worry one of my friends are coming and possibly another one of them as well." He says as he waits for Auna and Kana and possibly Dark Star. It was simple to see what he needed help with. Dragging the heavy men off of Snowden and the nameless she-kitten. He knew Sivinith was still a sleep and the nameless he-cub was in the den hiding. There were a few dead mean lying around and Bandit didn't like the scene. The man was way to heavy for him and Auna to drag alone.

Auna, Snowden, & Nameless Cubs

The nameless male cub was crouched beside his mom, fearful. He heard what Bandit said about the thorns, so he didn't try to wake Sivinith up.

Auna paced anxiously by the dead man who her two siblings where trapped under.

Snowden flicked his long tail from side to side, while watching Auna and Bandit. He was curious to see Bandit's friends, and not so nervous as his sister was.

Kana

The large she-wolf trotted up beside Bandit, seeing the dead humans all around and the two kittens trapped, "Don't worry, well get you out" she said kindly. "Bandit, you grab the humans leg, I'll grab the other, and Auna, could you help Bandit? Then on three, we'll pull, hopefully pull the human off of them.." She said, going over to the human's leg..

Bandit

He nodded to Kana and eagerly went over to the leg wanting to get Snowden and the nameless she-kitten out quickly. He begins to pull but leaves room for Auna to grab on.

Auna, Snowden, & She-Kitten

Auna took a hold of the man's leg as well, and began to tug back on it. As soon as Kana began to pull as well, the man would be moved enough for the two kittens to be free.

Kana

She nodded, "1,2,3!" she said, with a mighty tug she pulled the human with Bandit and Auna...

Bandit

Bandit yipped happily when the tow kittens were free. "Thanks Kana!" He yips. "Now I'm supposing your wondering why I didn't visit you and Dark Star or even my mom." He says ready to give an explanation. "Sivinith doesn't really like us to leave but neither does she like visitors. I'm sorry about not visiting but Sivinith's like a second mom to me now. I'm sure my real mom is worried though. Be careful if Sivinith wakes before you leave. She might be angry I brought you here. I'll explain that you helped though." Bandit says. He nuzzles Kana glad he could see her again. He looks to Snowden and the Nameless She cub to make sure they were ok.

Auna, Snowden, & Nameless-Kittens

Auna looked up at Kana, "Thank you." She was now very grateful, and not the least bit wary of the wolf anymore.

Snowden picked himself up and shook the snow from his pelt. "Thank you!" He spoke up cheerfully, talking to Auna, Bandit, and Kana. He padded over to Kana and rubbed his head on her forelegs to show his gratitude. He did this instead of nuzzling, like Bandit did.

The nameless male kitten peered down over the hill to see the adult wolf. He didn't trust her, despite the fact that she had helped his family. He padded back over to his sleeping mother.

The nameless she-kitten scrambled to her feet and took a few steps over to Kana. But she suddenly swayed and toppled over. The kitten struggled up and managed to sit up halfway. By just looking at her, she didn't look injured, just very tired. Her eyes were dim and half closed.

Kana

She smiled, "I do wish you would have come to visit us more, but I understand." She said. "Your all very welcome, I'm glad I could help" she said nuzzling Snowden when he rubbed against her. She then realized she hadn't told Bandit the new, "Bandit, I wanted to tell you, Dark Star and I are mates now" she said warmly, thinking of Dark Star..

Bandit

He yips. "Wow!" He says excitedly. "I will come visit more now. When I tell Sivinith that you helped save Snowden and her nameless she-cub she will surely let me visit you." He says thinking in a positive way. "She's just very protective." He says once more. "Did Dark Star find who he was looking for?" He asks wagging his tail happily. He looked to the three cubs near him and smiled. "It's been a while perhaps Sivinith will wake soon." He says.

Kana

She listened to him, "Ah, yes, Dark Star found Tri-Tundra, she is very nice. I understand of her protectiveness, I feel that way about you.." she said kindly, nuzzling him..

Dark Star

He FINALLY raced up the side of the ridge. the he collapsed, exhausted. after he caught his breath he quickly raced up to see them. "I am so sorry bandit. see, Tri-Tundra heard a howl from a girl whom used to be in my pack, so she went off to find her. i waited for a while, but she didn't come back yet." he looked at the men. the to sivinith. " those men cannot stay there like that, for if others find them you're dead. have you a place you can hide them?" he then walked over to sivinith, her still sleeping. he came over to kana, nuzzled her then spoke to Bandit. "It has been so long bandit, i am very glad to see you. Perhaps some day soon you will get to see your mother again huh?"

Kana

She nuzzled him back, "yes, we need to hide them" she said, speaking of the humans....

Bandit

He nods to Kana then sees Dark Star. He looks over and wags his tail more. "Hi Dark Star!" He yips. He looks to the three cubs. "This is my other friend Dark Star!" He says excitedly. He then looks back to Dark Star and Kana. "That's up to Sivinith what to do with the humans." He says. "Yup. When Sivinith wakes I will ask her if I can go. I'm sure she'll let me." He says. He hoped shed wake up soon. "Sorry for not visiting Dark Star but as I told Kana Sivinith is very protective. When we first met she was ready to hit me across the floor but then Auna stopped her and then Sivinith told me not to leave Breve Ridges. But then she warmed up to me and taught me and her cubs how to hunt and now she cares for me like her own. I miss my mom though." He says. He sits down next to Auna but stands and gives Dark Star a nuzzle in greeting.

Kana

She nodded, "Alright, she should wake up soon..."

Sivinith, Auna, Snowden, & Nameless cubs

Sivinith's eyes flickered open, and her claws flexed slightly. She could smell the other two wolves here, but couldn't yet make out what they had said. It took a moment before she was able to drag herself to her feet. The feline swayed slightly and took a few staggering steps towards the others before falling onto her side again. Shaking the blurriness from her eyes, she stood again and still swayed. When she was able to see that Dark Star and Kana were with her young ones, the female gave a rumble, and pulled her ears back. "You'd best get out of here, and don't even think about taking Bandit." She was still too groggy to attack anyone, much less walk in a straight path.

Auna bounded over to her mother, "Mom! They helped us, they don't mean any harm. They saved my sister and Snowden, because they were trapped under this human and then they pulled the human off and..." she trailed off, seeing the look in her mother's eyes. Sivinith wasn't in the mood, or the state of mind, to listen to this.

Snowden pulled his ears back slightly, sensing the tension from his mom. "Mom, really, they helped us!"

The nameless male cub stood beside his mother and hissed lightly at Kana and Dark Star.

The nameless she-kitten looked as if she were about to fall asleep. She lifted her head weakly and looked from her mom to the wolves. She wanted to say something to convince Sivinith that the wolves had helped, but she felt so tired.

Kana

She took a step back, not wanting to anger the mother leopard. When she heard Sivinith say that they couldn't take Bandit she didn't know what to say...

Bandit

Bandit sighed. "They helped! Please don't be mad. I left to get them so they could help lift the human..." He admits. "They wont hurt us." He continues.

Dark Star

He backs up, staying away from the leopard. He raises his head. "Sivinith, I will not take Bandit from you. But let me make this as clear as possible. You may love him like your own, but you are not his true mother, are you? He has a mother out there that loves him very much, and misses him, just as much as he misses her. He is a wolf, Sivinith, he needs to explore and do all sorts of things, as a wolf. He loves you, he loves all of you, but are really gonna keep him here when there is a whole world out there?" he stares hard, determined to make this leopard understand. He turns to Kana, knowing she is probably surprised he said that. but he loved Bandit, and just wanted what is best for him.

Sivinith, Auna, Snowden, & Cubs

She rumbled still and took a few staggering steps towards Dark Star and Kana. The tranquilizers didn't allow her to think straight yet and her vision was still messed up. She shook her head again and spoke, "Bandit does perfectly well living with us. You remember what happened last time you tried to take him..." she warned. Auna tried again to reason with her mother, "They saved the lives of Snowden and my sister, momma!" Sivinith studied the two wolves with narrowed eyes, but grudgingly had to thank them, "I appreciate your help, but I won't let you take Bandit. If he wants to visit his wolf mother, then I shall go with him. But he still lives with me." The snow leopard wasn't about to lose any of her young, even if one of them really wasn't hers.

Bandit

He wagged his tail delightedly when Sivinith said he could visit his mother if she accompanied him. He smiled to Dark Star when he made his speech. He liked living with Sivinith but he wanted to see his friends a little. "Sivinith would it be ok if they came to visit sometimes?" He says and begins walking up the steep hill carefully trying to reach Sivinith.

Kana

She was surprised at what Dark Star said, but she understood and nodded. Hearing what Sivinith said and seeing how happy Bandit was, she didn't say anything...

Dark Star

He lowered his head to the snow leopard mother. "Forgive me, for I spoke with arrogance, as though he was mine. I only wish to see my friend, and for him to see the ones he loves. Beware, there seems to be some new evil in the forest. My friend has disappeared. Again. Good will to you Bandit, as well as Auna, Sivinith, Snowden, and the rest of your young" He turns to leave, winking at Bandit, gesturing that it was probably time to go to Kana....

Bandit

He watched Dark Star leave. "Please visit." He yipped and he ran to nuzzle him goodbye. He wasn’t sure if Kana was leaving yet but he gives her a nuzzle to. He hoped Sivinith would let them visit.

Kana

She nuzzled Bandit, "good bye" she said, "we'll visit..." she licked him on the cheek kindly, sometimes she kind of thought of him as her own. Turning, she went with Dark Star, nuzzling him...

Dark Star

he as well, did not want to go, but licked Bandit and nuzzled Kana in return and trotted back to Orcas bay.

Kana

Kana fallowed Dark Star, but she stopped at the boarder, she howled her goodbye to them. Then, she fallowed Dark Star to orca bay...

Sivinith, Snowden, Auna, Tolacca, & Asplen

Sivinith watched the wolves leave and gave a light sigh. Now, the tranquilizers had worn off and she could think clearly. Her light eyes scanned over the trampled and bloody ground as her tail flicked with anxiety. The humans had been killed too close to her den. "I think it would be best if we moved out of the Ridges for a while." The feline finally announced, then turned to her kittens and the wolf pup. "Two names have come to mind. Tolacca," she announced, looking to the she-kitten, "And Asplen." she said, now directing her eyes to the male kitten. "You all fought so valiantly, and I'm proud of you."

Tolacca lifted her head in a jerking motion and gave a small meow before collapsing in the snow. Sivinith was very alarmed; she could see nothing wrong with her kitten, but Tolacca shouldn't be so tired so quickly. The leopard sprung over the ground and made it to the bottom of the steep hill in two leaps. She nudged her lethargic kitten, "Tolacca, what's wrong?" the she-kitten rolled her eyes up at her mother, but didn't have the energy to speak anything.

Auna, Snowden, and Asplen padded over to the hill and cautiously crawled down in. Snowden accidentally tripped and fell into Asplen, who fell into Auna. The three went tumbling down the hill, bringing a mound of snow down with them. Unhurt, the three kittens scrambled up out of the snow and bounded over to their mom. Auna looked worriedly at her sister. Asplen was worried too for her, but also about the humans. "Momma, where will we go?" Sivinith shook her head slightly, "I'm not sure yet."

Bandit

He watches and ponders he had howled a goodbye to his friends. "What about the Ashen Domes. I heard its warm there and that there is prey but I’ve never been there." Bandit says. He was worried for Tolacca as well. He pads by Sivinith and sits waiting to see what shed say.

Sivinith, Snowden, Auna, Tolacca, & Asplen

Sivinith nodded to Bandit, "That sounds like a good place. But I've never been there; could you lead the way?" the snow leopard picked Tolacca up by the scruff. The kitten hung limply in her mother's jaws, and didn't curl up into the ball that most young animals would when they are picked up like that.

Snowden, Auna, and Asplen all stood up, ready to follow Bandit.

Bandit

He nodded and led the way.

Sivinith, Tolacca, Asplen, Snowden, & Auna

Sivinith lifted her head up so that Tolacca wouldn't drag over the ground as she carried her. Unfortunately, the wild cat tripped over the kitten's long tail now and then.

Auna bounded along front of her mother, while sticking close to Bandit, although she was bouncing around all over the place from excitement.. Snowden traveled just behind Bandit, while Asplen was beside his mother.
