*Humans & Horse*

A group of three humans, one male and two females, had set out to locate some lost childeren. One had been taken in the prairie, and two more at Orca Bay. While they feared the worst, evidence at the scenes suggested the childeren were not killed there; so there was a bit of hope lingering in their minds.

As the group traveled the rocky terrain, each upon a horse, disaster struck. One of the stallions had miss-stepped and fell into a narrow, high-walled ravien. He was on his feet, but wedged tightly in the rocky crevice. The poor horse tried to rear up and free himself, but only managed to damaged his side and left shoulder.

His rider, the oldest of the two females, had been thrown off before her horse tumbled into the ravein. Relatively unharmed, she approached her horse and saw that there was no way for him to get out on his own. She knelt down and petted the stallion's head, trying to calm him. The man dismounted and tried to help calm the stallion while the other lady rode off to get more help.

Ghost

Alpha minx walked into the Ridges, her temper flaring up wildy. She had enough of being with others for now. Nares sniffed the ground, picking up the scent of the humans and horses. She slowly made her way towards them, hiding in the bushes, she lay low to the ground, watching them.

*Horses & Humans*

The stallion snorted and bucked his head, frustrated and panicked at being stuck. The two humans did their best to pat his head and keep him calm.

The mare stood nearby, watching the ordeal. "Stay calm, they'll get you out of there." She said, trying to reasure her friend.

The stallion pinned one ear back, then lifted it. He tried to rear up, but quickly came back down, "I know, I know... but..." He blinked his wide, frightened eyes, looking from the two humans to the darkness of the ravine he was trapped in, "It's just hard to stay calm in here."

aleu & luneia

the slender ivory lupine had been out and about the last few days, teaching her human 'pup' how to survive in the wilds. the child crawled at her side on all fours, like her wolf mother. the lupine yipped softly to her, encouraging her to hurry up a bit. the child had light blonde hair, and brilliant green eyes. she responded with a childish yip and moved a little quicker. the she-wolf had killed two teenagers to protect this child, and wasn't about to let anything harm luneia, as she had named her. so when the sound of humans and equines reached her ears, the wolf stopped dead in her tracks, ears pricked. a soft warning bark was issued to the child, and she scurried aleu's side, eye's wide. softly, slowly, the white wolf crept through the shadows, the girl at her side, until they were atop a small ledge overlooking the group. lowering herself to the cold stone and encouraging the 'pup' to do the same, her dark eyes watched the two horses carefully, with very little trust. she could attack the humans with little warning, and hope to take them all down, but there was a man amongst them, and they were the hardest to kill. suddenly, the child giggled softly, watching the horses struggle. aghast, the wolfess nipped her on the shoulder, and they lapsed into silence, waiting to see if they'd been heard...

Ghost

Auds perked up just as she was about to attack, slowly she made her way over to Aleu, fangs bared. "Keep away from them, they are mine!" She warned. looking at the small human she growled. "Or I will kill your little friend." She growled. Ghost had one of the largest packs in the valley and would call on them to kill this vix and her friend if she needed to.
Then turning away she ran out of the bushes, first she chared at the lady that nelt down, to push her into the revine to get her out of the way for now. Then she swiftly turned and lept at the man, fangs bared, trying to grab ahold on his neck.

Bagera

The grizzly watched the ordel unfold the singal wolf would be no problem. The humans were his. He walked up to the humans and wolf he roared again and again trying to drive the wolf away. If the wolf didn't leave he would attack her.

aleu & luneia

the ivory lupine caught sight of the other wolf, but remained silent, until she came forward and threatened the child, who sat wide-eyed beside her. her upper lip pulled back in a silent snarl, and her dark eyes were lucid. you won't touch her! and there are three humans- i am free to attack if i so choose she said smoothly, standing between the she-wolf and child. as the other bounded off and promptly 'charged' the lady, the lupine yipped softly to the child, biding her to remain silent while mommy took care of something. at that moment, her eyes caught sight of the grizzly, apparently trying to scare off the other wolf. hah. a wicked smirk lit her features for a moment before she leapt off the ridge, hopefully crashing to earth on top of one of the humans, most likely the only one who hadn't been attacked. but whether her aim was right or not, she landed, jaws wide, snarling, ready to protect her 'cub' with everything- she lunged quickly at the nearest human, trying for the neck, but willing to work with any part of the human she could get.

the little girl stayed close to the ledge, laying on her stomach, her green eyes watching the chaos carefully, remaining silent, just like her 'mommy' had told her to.

*Humans & Horses*

The two humans turned in surprise, hearing the first noise that the little child had made. But before they could go to investigate, a white wolfess plowed out of cover, heading for the lady. "The Liberti-" The human was promptly cut off. Trying to stand, she was not quick enough for the killer. With a shrill scream, she lost her balance as Ghost hit her, and fell into the dark abyss of the ravine. Her body hit the ground with a thud, knocking the wind out of her.

Frightened, the stallion reared back, accidentally striking the lady and knocking her out cold.

The man had stood up quickly, ready to attacking Ghost and fend her off. But then... of all things, a bear appeared! Knowing such a creature was far beyond his limits to deal with, he began to back off. But that's when something landed on him, striking him to the ground and knocking the breath from his lungs. Before he could rightly figure out what had assailed him, fangs peirced into the back of his neck. With a pained scream, the man tried to twist onto his side and throw the wolf off before it was too late...

The mare reared up, snorted and lacing her ears back. Then she turned and thundered off into the wilderness.

Bagera

The bear was furios the nearest human had fallen into the ravine! He glared at the other wolf she was going to kill the man then he would scare her off. He noticed something a little ways off a human child two humans had got away from him a couple of days ago this one wouldn't. He ran at it roaring he reared and swung a paw at the girl if he connected death would come to the child.

Ghost

Nymph snarled as she landed on the human hard, but suddenly her auds pkeredup as the bear emitted his cry. She knew that Ice and Ridged Edge would be along shortly because she had left the packlands without anyone in case she got in trouble. Her first instinct was to back off because of the bear, but she needed to kill something. Growling she lowered his fangs on the humans neck and bit down harder, shaking her head back and forth, paying no attention to the other wolf.

Venus

Audits pricked as the cougar heard a commotion happening not too far away. Craters picked up the scent of blod and she followed it. She slid silently past the event. She stopped and went into the hunters position. Snarling she looked from one animal to the next. 2 wolves, a bear, 2 horses, and to her disgust a human child. She growled before pouncing towards the mare, aiming for a bite at the back of the neck as she wasn't facing her target. Her claws were outsreached so that if she landed 'pon the equine she would grip on with her fangs and her claws. She lept almost silently compared to what noise was going on. Hopefully she hadn't been spotted because of all the things happening and she would take the horse by surprise.

Mercury

White wolf approached the event. 'Dinner...Perfect. I'm starving.'. He crouched, surveying the situation. The humans were all taken as he could see a cougaress heading for the last human. But there was a stallion trapped...He snarled before hurling himself at the stallion trying to grab any part of it. The advantage was it couldn't really move. Fangs and talons outstreached he flew toward the stag. Would he reach it?

aleu & luneia

the she-wolf felt the human twist and turn, trying to free himself of her grip. yet she hung on, fangs burying themselves deeper into the back of his neck, hopefully severing his spinal cord, thus killing the man.

suddenly, her eyes caught sight of the grizzly, swinging at luneia. the child released a shrill scream, terrified at the massive creature. snarling, the ivory lupine leapt at the bear, slashing at any part she could reach. the small child retreated farther up the side of the rock, climbing onto a higher ledge, out of reach of the bear's swinging paws.

*Humans & Horses*

The two humans stood little chance against their attackers, since they had been caught off guard. The man was just in the process of picking himself up when the wolf's jaws forced enough pressure to break his neck.

The woman tried to pick herself up as well, but now a wolf had landed on her. Before she could do much, fangs ripped into her neck, spilling her hot blood onto the dark earth. In short time, she was dead as well. The stallion shied at the stench and reared, striking out at the wolf to try and drive it away. A blow from his hooves could badly damage or kill a wolf, but he didn't have good aim in his position.

As the horse tried to break free, he felt something land on his back. Mercury had gotten a bit to the back of his neck. But with a thick mane and muscles there, it would hardly be a very difficult task trying to break the equine's neck. Giving a pained scream, the horse tried to buck the wolf off, but again, he could not do it at full force, for the sides of the ravine pressed tightly at his haunches and sides.

The mare had run a good distnace from the scene when something assailed her. With a sharp cry, she fell tumbling to the ground, rolling over the cougaress at one point. She felt her warm blood running down her neck and shoulder, where fang and claw had penetrated the flesh. Kicking about dangeorusly, she tried to pull herself up before Venus might collect herself for another attack...

Ghost

As she felt the mans neck break, she twisted her body around to rip the spinnal coard, she had to make sure he was dead. One less human the better.

Venus

Cougaress felt the blood of her target in her mouth. She tryed to hang on but the mare rolled over and she lost her hold. She was winded but still, as she rolled to the side she quickly jumped at the mare again, trying to grab any part she could. She was weary of the mares flailing hooves but she needed to feed so would she land on the mare or not?

Mercury

White wolf tightened his grip on the horses neck. He knew he couldn't break it but he tryed to give the horse as much pain as possible. He snarled, digging his talons in, trying to increase blood loss. As the horse bucked his claws slipped, he moved his front paw, trying to slash at the horses facade. He clung on.

*Horses*

The mare was just about to get up when the cougaress hit her again, and she fell back down with a frightened screech. But the mare's struggles were so wild and violent that it was hard to keep out of their way. One random hoof struck Venus in the side, breaking two of her ribs. It would be a terribly painful wound that would keep her from running or moving around much for a while, but it would heal on its own time in a few weeks if no more damage came to it.

The mare was not so fortunate with injuries. The feline's capable fangs fond a good mark on the side of the victim's soft neck. They hit one of her vital bloodways that brought the life-giving liquid to her brain. A deep crimson pool began to collect beneath the mare's neck as she struggled, and it wouldn't be long before she was dead.

The stallion fought and fought, but there was simply nothing he could do to ward off his assailant. In fact, his own efforts of self-preservation brought him more injury. His sides and legs were soon cut up and battered from hitting and scraping along the ravine's rocky walls. Fangs tore at the back of his neck, sending rivulets of blood streaming down into his short coat, and to smear along the earth walls that trapped him. And the claws, though they could not do much damage, still caused a great deal of agony when they were scraped against his hide enough to draw blood. If the attack was kept up, the stallion would be killed.

Venus

Hissing she landed on the mare, ripping into her neck. Suddenly she was hit in the ribs by one of the mares diamonds. A cut appreared and she could feel her ribs weren't right. Still she waited for the mare to die. She snarled, warning any others that this horse was her horse, and meal.

Mercury

The wolfs hide was scratched on the side of the earth walls, sending a small stream of blood down murcurys white pelt. He dug his claws in deeper, fangs closing harder round the horses flesh. In this restricted position the horse was only causing himself harm. He tryed swinging his paws round to attempt to scratch the stallion mask. This dinner was his.

*Horses*

The mare struggled a while longer, but finally her thrashing limbs slowed down and her long head fell to the earth. A few shallow gasps passed from her dying mug before she was silent in death.

The stallion fought longer. But all his struggles and the damage that Mercury was causing finally did him in as well. His body went into shock and his vision swam before him, his head spun. His hooves dug and pawed against the ground beneath him, trying in one last frantic push to free himself. But it was all over. In a few minutes, the horse crumpled to his knees with a gasp, and his muzzle slammed into the earth. His haunches flinched and his head swayed to the side. One more effort was put into rising before all his strength had left. The stallion was dead.

Mercury

Mercury continued to hold on and felt the stallion collapse, he didn't release his grip until he was sure the stallion was dead. He then began to rip at its flesh, tearing off the meat and savagely slicing the stags flesh. He was there for ages, chewing and swallowing. He hadn't eaten in days and this meal was his first here. He finished most of the carcass before breaking off a leg for later. He dragged it away to be eaten later.

Venus

The mares limbs slowed but she was still caught by one, leaving a scratch on her leg. As the crimson liquid dripped from her side where her ribs where broken. She let out a triumphant roar before lowering her head to feast upon the mare.
