Catalpa
She was leary to go to the boarders in fear of being chased away. But if she didn't find a pack soon, she wouldn't make it. Unless... unless she resorted to the humans and scavenging. She didn't want to do that, but she'd have to if it came down to it. Survival is survivel.
Nachi
The strange-minded she-wolf had more or less made it her home on these ridges. She wasn't sure where Cazerath or Lopis' went, but she was determined to stick around and find them again. Such was her obsession.
Spotting the elder wolfess, Nachi pasted her auds back and let her hackles raise. She swished her tail slowly like a cat, which was an awkward motion for her, but she managed. Rumbling and growling in a low, deep pitch, the wolf slunk towards Catalpa.
Her movements were not quite wolf-like, althouth Nachi was indeed pure wolf. A strange pup-hood left her and her brother Cavan a bit different from most wolves. And she was the more extreme. "Get out of here!" she said in a hissing, growling voice. She hate a deep despise of she-wolves and dogs. Males she could tolerate and had fun flirting with, but even then she didn't act quite right.
Catalpa
Catalpa stiffened, eyeing the fae with alarm, "What do you mean?" she questioned uncertainly, taking a few steps back from Nachi, "This is no territory... this is free land. I am no threat to you." The old wolf stood her ground now, although she was probably too old to hold out in a fight against Nachi.
Chazerath*Lopis`
Chazerath had finally returned from his excrutiating search for Lopis`, who had foolishly run off. Lopis` knew better now, and had begun to take to the traits of Chazerath, and, surpisingly, Nachi. Chazerath approached the unknown fae from behind, his brown optics focused, tail twitching and flicking violently. Strangely, Lopis` tread behind him in unison with his characteristics.
He lept atop a large rock, which he could often be found upon, hissing violently. He answered her in a deep rumbling growl. "Perhaps the territory is free of claim; but as long as you remain this close to our living space, you are the greatest threat of all." His optics were taken off of the fae to look to Nachi.
Catalpa seemed to old to be a true threat, of course; but Chazerath had always over-reacted when it came to being dominant. He was rather large, ecspescially for his snow leopard race; which is probably why he had such domineering traits. His large paws flexed slightly as he lowered on the rock, ready to pounce if need be.
And Lopis` did the same.
Nachi
Nachi was thrilled emensely to see the leopards and her body nearly trembled with excitement. Without warning, she sprung at Catalpa, aiming to tackle the wolf to the ground and slash at her shoulder with her bared fangs.
Then she was spring back, hoping to avoid a counter attack. She was anxious to get Catalpa out of here, but hesitant of making too much close contact with the other fae whom she oddly loathed. Nachi wanted to impress her idolized friends.
Chazerath*Lopis
Seeing this action, Chazerath did not show any feeling of regret. Nachi had merely threatened Catalpa with intimidation and a gall warning, in his opinion. Though this new fae was severely hated with a passion, he leapt down to stand beside Nachi to protect from any other attacks.
He highly doubted that Catalpa, being the old age she must have been to look as she did, was a threat to anyone any longer. Still, he spoke with a booming voice. "You are threatening us and our home. As you see, Nachi will not hesitate." He growled, looking to Nachi with an expression that complimented her move. Though he, amazingly, was curious of this new wolf and the way she acted compared to Nachi, she was still a threat in his eyes. His tail twitched as he awaited some sort of response. An appology, or simply taking leave....either way, he did not tell the fae to leave, wondering what she would do.
Catalpa
Catalpa yelped and snapped at Nachi, but didn't continue the attack. She too backed up, feeling the sting in her shoulder where the other's fangs had laid the flesh open. Her ears were planed to the sides and her body hunched and tense, "I mean to threaten no one." she said shortly, both agrivated and confused at the situation. But more so, she was very intimidated by the wild attitude of Nachi and, of course, the impressive size of the leopards; especially Chazerath. "I am just looking for food, and I'll be on my way."
Chazerath*Lopis
His tail twitched violently, golden flecked optics staring her down intentively. Amazingly, the normally aggressive leopard nodded slowly. His voice, however, was harsh, and loud. "The search elsewhere on these lands, away from our den. Then, you would do yourself favor to be off."
He looked down to Nachi with a bazaar look on his face, seeing that as close to a smile as he could get was a slight curl of his upper lip.
Lopis` lept of the rock after her brother, giving a slight hiss to Catalpa and making a wide show of her glinting teeth in smile to Nachi as well. She turned to Catalpa, doing the same smile, but stopped at a sharp glance that came from Chazerath. Lopis` looked to the thin sod beneath her, her talon-like claws digging into the sod as her paws flexed.
Catalpa
Her body came down lower and her focus shifted to the ground at Chazerath's paws. At first though, it seemed very odd that this wolfess, Nachi, was hanging around two leopard. But then again, Catalpa had a wolverine friend, so she now realized it wasn't all that strange. There was no use arguing any further, or it could be her life she feared. "Alright, I'll be on my way." she finally gave in. Turning swiftly, she loped out of the area and away from the three.
Nachi
Nachi turned to Chazerath and Lopis now, seeing that Catalpa had gone of. Her eyes were wide and bright, but her face, at least to a normal wolf, was oddly deprived of much emotional expression. "I'm very glad you're back, Chaz, Lopis." The wolfess just peered up at them in awe and fascination before speaking again, "Would you... show me how to hunt? I mean, how to hunt like you hunt?"
Chazerath, Lopis`
Lopis` smiled and grinned broadly, showing her long glinting teeth with pride. "/We/ hunt fun." She said, limiting the amount she said, as to tease Nachi for information. "It's even /BETTER/ than attacking leaves!" She piped, jumping up.
Chazerath bleakly nodded, his eyes trailing to the trees. "Yes...sounds good. We can show you, seeing as we need to eat anyways."
