Amber

Amber entered the terrain at a steady pace. She sniffed the air and looked around as she waited for Vevisca, Kanan, Kiolana, and Namir. She wagged her tail as she waited. She glanced around to see if any big cats were around.

Kanan

Kanan followed closely after Amber with his brushy tail held out loosely in content. He was excited about seeing cats and other things. Although he was begining to grow large indeed, taking after his father's traits, Kanan had a ways to go until he acted like an adult. Now and then he darted off to investigate a strange scent or sound, but he tried to keep Amber and the others in sight.

Vevisca

He followed along side Amber, casting his eyes about for any signs of movement from other animals. His keen ears and nose were also at work to seek out any cats. "Kiolana and Kanan; don't wonder off too far and get lost." he didn't want to sound too strict, so he didn't keep a real close eye on them. But he had to at least show some authority because he'd hate to have something bad happen to them when they were still young. Vatoni and Keilo certainly wouldn't be happy if anything happened!

Namir

The young cougar bounded over the ground in glee. He was enjoiying his newly won freedom emensely, even if that freedom had been taken for only a short time. The thought of his old cave crossed his mind as he was running along. Not watching where he was going, he plowed right into Kanan and tumbled across the ground.

Kanan

He went sprawling across the ground, getting the wind knocked out of him and a good scare! Gathering himself up rather quickly, he mock-growled and ran towards Namir to tackle him in return. Although his charge looked serious enough, his bright and mischevious eyes told it was all in play.

Amber

She saw Vevisca come in and heared what he said to the pups and Namir. "Yes you three dont wander off to far but feel free to explore." She said as she looked from Kanan and Namir playing to Vevisca. "I wonder what type of cats were gonna see." She said some excitment in her voice as well as she smiled softly to Vevisca then sniffed the air to try and catch the scent of a big cat.

Namir

Namir gave a growling roar as he sprung up to meet Kanan's attack. By now, the once skin-and-bones kit was now had sleek and powerful muscles on his growing frame. While wrapping his agile front limbs around Kanan, he attempted to sink his long fangs into the fur of the wolf's neck.

Amber, *Cougar*

Suddenly two blue eyes fell upon the group as the cougar slunk around them watching the pups and the cub. She found it stange that a cub would be wandering around with wolves but kept that though to herself. The cougress wasnt a tawny color like the other cougers. She was more greyish black which was a bit strange. She watched them from a small ridge carefully.

She had been watching the two play. "Dont get to rough." She said but suddenly picked up a scent. "Vevisca you smell that?" She asked referring to the cougresses scent.

Vevisca

He paused and lifted his muzzle to the air. "Yes... cougar?" he said with a bit of alarm after picking up the scent. "And it isn't Namir." he looked back at the yearling cougar, "Namir, do you smell another cougar around here...?"

Manov

Alpha brute sniffed the air, and the ground as he ran along, looking for the pups. Then he came across their scent, and another one, one he didn't particularily like. Manov ran towards them, emitted a low bark to them, he was trying to make it so the cougar wouldn't know he knew it was there. Slowly he waslked towards them as he came closer. "All of you you must come back home. Slowly and quietly, follow me." He whispered to them. Then he turned and lowered himself to the ground, waiting for them to folow.

Kanan

"We'll be careful." he mumbed to the others as he fought with Namir, grabbing and shaking what ever part of the cub he could get a hold on. When Manov gave the bark, Kanan scrambled up and stepped back from Namir, "What's wrong?" he questioned and padded over to Manov, sensing something wasn't right.

Manov

He nodded to the pups playing with Nimari. "I'll explain when we get back to the packlands. Hurry!" He quietly said to them. Then started his was down slowly so they could keep up.

Amber, *Cougar*

The cougar saw them leaveing. She wasnt as vicious as some other cats around her were. She actually was very cuious about others so she leapt from her perch and casually made her way over. "Whats the rush?" She asked curiously with no introduction.

Amber picked up namir glancing to Vevisca and Manov hinting each of them to grab one of the pups. It would be fast to carry the younger ones. She then spotted the cougar. She wasnt sure what to say and knew the pups and Namir would probably be excited to see one so big and so cloe.

Manov

Manov looked back as the cougar jumped down, he lept over the pups, landing infront of them. "Whats it to you?" He asked her, snarling slightly. But then he got an idea.. maybe, just maybe this cougar could help them in this was that was to happen soon.

*Cougar*

The cougar wathed him jump protectivly infront of the cubs. She didnt seem intimidated at all by the snarl. "Just curious. Your kind is very strange." She pointed out. She also wondered why a cougar cub was with them but didnt think to long on that subject. "Mind saying whats troubleing you now? Cause perhapes I could help." She said. Whatever it was if she could help she knew shed get to see the wolves more closley and being as curious as she was it would please her. Perhapes shed also find out why Namir was with them.

Manov

He walked froth towards the cougar, so that the pups couldn't here, he didn;t want them to get scared or excited. Brute looked at them, then back at the cougar, his tone was low. "There is a war bruing between packs, almost this entire valley. My pack is the main target in this." Pools looked towards his pack, he could be getting back soon, they had to talk about what they were going to do.

Namir

The young cougar stood motionless near Kanan, watching the other feline. His golden orbs flashed upon Manov a moment, wondering what he had said. Then they rested once more upon the cougar.

*Cougar*

"Very well. I shall help you then. But after the battle would you give me a tour of your lands? Id be most grateful to see what a wolf's terrain and packlife is like. I can be quite curious lets just say." She sais and flexed out her claws as she streatched. She flicked her tail once watching the group. "By the way if your wondering my name, im Amaya."

Kanan

Kanan perked his ears up suddenly, "Mom! She's hurt!" as fascinated as he was by Amaya, hearing his mother's distressed howl drained any bit of interest from his body and replaced it with dread. The adolescent bolted away from the group, half running and half stumbling down the steep trails as he ran towards the place where she howled.

Vevisca

"Kanan, stop!" the wolf barked sharply. He looked from wolf to cougar before darting down the hill after Kanan.
