Dimitri & Others
Pasha perched on a tree beside the cave. He waited there, still as the tree itself, for his owner to come see what he found.
A Black Hawk helicopter landed beside the river and the passengers unloaded. Viktor stood by the mouth of the cave. "You say he's in here, Adrian?" He asked through his walkie-talkie. "That is the likely place, yes." Came the reply.
Kanan and his team arrived with the pack of big cats and hunting dogs. Vivka and Lev climbed up on top of the mouth of the cave. "You think we should wait for...damn it, what's that old guy's name?" Kanan asked. Dimitri shook his head. "What do you think, Kanan? He would have killed me if he got the chance." He shot back bluntly. As Dimitri was beginning to walk into the mouth of the cave, Viktor stopped him. "Maybe he's right, Dima. We don't know what else is in there." He suggested.
Dimitri scowled, but he begrudgingly pulled his phone out and dialed Ethan's number. "Hey, dumbass! We think we found where he's keeping Bonnie. Get over here quick or we're leaving you behind." He said curtly.
Ethan Rom & Others
"I would ask where 'here' is-" The condescending voice on the other line retorted, "-but thankfully I have resources of my own. Don't get yourself killed before I get there." Blunt and clipped, Ethan hung up the phone, relying on Mikhail's direction to figure out where the chopper had last shown up on the radar. Just before the craft had sank down into the steep valley of the Breve Ridges, the Russian had given him more precise coordinates.
It took a good twenty minutes for Ethan to arrive, with Kong and the rest of his pack at heel. And though they made not a sound, there were a few others with the man today, circling through the brush and keeping out of sight of the other party. They were back-up, should something go wrong. "Well, now that we don't have the element of surprise on our side," He pointed out tersely to Dimitri as he cantered forward on Harthrou, "I suppose we'll have to take him by force. Have any chemical agents we can toss in the cave?"
Dimitri Volkov
Dimitri was getting tired of waiting. He was contemplating just going into the cave himself and leaving Ethan to follow whenever he got here. After what seemed like forever, Ethan did arrive. "Took you long enough. She's probably dead by now." He said bluntly, reaching up and getting Pasha down from the tree. The falcon perched calmly on his shoulder.
Viktor glanced dully at Dimitri before turning his attention to Ethan. "We've got some kolokol, but It's be best to use it as a last resort. The risk of complications is too great." He informed, scaling down into the cave. "Adrian says he's likely way in the back, so it's doubtful that he heard us."
Dimitri, Kanan, David, Nikolai, Katia and Ivan followed carefully down into the cave.
