Roxy
Lengthful strides pawed at the rocky terrian. Feathered milky banner wagged contently at the sight. Hazel voids searched the space.
Kaden
An interestingly-colored wolf trotted upon the terrain, moving his limbs to and fro in an even smooth motion, though it was still a bit bouncy. He carried his banner fairly high, yet it wasn't in a dominant manner. He continued moving along through the mountains, warm brown eyes searching the area. That's when he noticed the lone fae a ways off, causing him to turn in her direction. "Hello," he called out, voice cheery and loud, "I'm Kaden." he then said, then was soon finding himself stopping near her. He had not a care in the world. "Who're you?" he then asked her, tilting his head a bit. She smelled a bit like civilization.
Roxy
Roxy's creamy pelt was given a shake once she saw the wolf. Not a fear, but a surprise. Well, she was out in the wild afterall. Hazel dipped voids studied the brute. Her banner remained raised, and wagged submissively. "I'm Roxy, Kaden." She smiled at his cheery, happy voice. Friendly. Thats a good sign, always almost always. Lifting her muzzle to the sky, she took in his scent. She smiled.
Kaden
A smile lit up Kaden's face the entire time, not once dying out, even as he tilted his head as the fae replied with her own name. He had no reason to not be happy; he was on his own, not a care in the world, nor enemies. "Nice to meet ya," he then spoke, but hushed himself after noticing he said 'ya'. "Oops, I mean yeah!" he added, correcting himself. If this wasn't so formal, he would have used 'ya' and not have given a second thought to it. But now he watched her curiously, wondering if she wanted to say anything. Strangers often did, though he had plenty more to speak of if not.
Roxy
Simple, but pretty Golden Retriever features let up. A happy grin crossed her kissers. Shaking her pelt, her coat fluffed up a little bit. Soon enough she was sitting, her haunches swiped the ground. Hind legs tucked under her, but it was sort of a sloppy 'puppy sit'. "No worries." Roxy spoke at ease. Her banner thumped aginst the gravely like rocks.
Kaden
Kaden watched her with ease, eyes soft yet with a hyped gleam. Then he drew in a deep breath after her words, trying to make himself appear calm. Sure, he wasn't bouncing off the tree trunks or anything, but he didn't want to seem like a pup either. "What brings you here, to these... Ridges?" he then asked, not really knowing what else to say. A basic coversation starter, but he would live.
Roxy
Roxy's sparkly, and slightly watery mocha dipped voids studied the uniquely colored wolf's pelt. Studying it closer than she had before. It was quite unique. She'd never seen a wolf so vividly colored. Nor a dog. "I sort of just wondered here...I'm tired of humans, so I wondered and here is where my paws have taken me." Roxy grinned. Her features were warm, and layed back. Audits lifted, dreambox tilted off to one side. "You?"
Kaden
Kaden drew in a deep breath to contain his excitement. He was eager to get moving since he knew the sun would be setting soon, and he didn't want to get caught in a random place at night. Not like that'de matter much anyway.
Tilting his head a bit at her words, a small smirk slid across his maw. "I kinda have the same story. I just wandered here, but I'm not from the area," he stated, thinking deeply. "You know humans?" he then asked, auds pricking. Of course she'de have to, he would think, since she was a dog. At this, he mentally hit himself. That meant nothing.
Roxy
Milk stained audits raised from her fur coaed tiara. Listning intently, yet turning now and then for a listen of her surroundings. She was up pretty high, it was a little scary being so far away from home. But adrenaline washed that feeling away quickly. Caramel voids studied the mottled wolf.
"Yes." She said quietly, not exactly proud of it. Nor was she proud that she was 'betraying' her two-legged companions. Well, they'd betrayed her. So eh.
Quick senses felt that he might be anxious to be somewhere. Roxy was sort of a mind reader. She decided to say nothing, he'd think she was a freak.
Kaden Mo< Kaden gave his head a tilt, a harmless curious motion of his usual self. "Why so down about it? I've never met a human before, though, only heard of them." he stated, thinking about it. If he seen a human, he didn't know what he would really do. Probably just stare. At this thought, he chuckled quietly to himself.
Roxy
Roxy's tail quickly began to thump behind her.. Happy to hear a slight chuckle. Thinking it was probably supposed to go unoticed, she didn't chuckle back. Audits lifted up as high as they could go. Her dreambox raised up. Ready to speak. "I didn't have the best experience with them." She said simply. Her voids studied Kaden with ease. "They are...Interesting." She gave a light-hearted chuckle.
Kaden
Kaden watched the fae, his eyes gentle and body finally calm. Breathing a deep sigh, he tilted his head. "Interesting? I've heard some bad things about them," he stated, with a nod. He wouldn't dare go near them now. "What kind of experience did you have?" he then asked, not able to resist. His curiousity often got the best of him.
Roxy
Roxy's banner thumped aginst the gravel a few more time after he was finished speaking. "First off they seperated me from my family, then they had to go off and kick me out of their home! Just because...Because. I'm not sure of the reason. They do things very strange and unfair, so I left. And proud of it! I'm more of the independant type anyways." Roxy finished with a sigh. There was so much more to her story, but why dig deep into her dreaful past when she can give the sweet and simple version? Sweet and simple was almost always best.
Kaden
Kaden watched her and studdied her as she spoke her little story, his own banner waving carelessly behind him. He was interested in her story, as short as she made it sound, though he knew there must be more to it. "Dreadful! Maybe that's why I always hear bad things about them," he stated, thinking. "Life out here is very nice," he then breathed, smiling lighly with his eyes closed.
Roxy
Roxy closed her own orabs. Snuffing in the fresh air. Shortly after, her orabs were open and she panted a few times. Her audits rising and falling, depending if she heard anything interesting. Most annoying creatures that dwell on God's sweet earth." She woofed after her sweet little eyes-closed moment.
"I'm looking foreward to exploring some more of the place, would you care to join me, Kaden?"
Kaden
Kaden watched her, tilting his head a but, but then all he could do was nod. He probably had to agree with her on that; humans were up to no good. "I bet," he simply replied, and then a smile lit his face. "I'de enjoy some exploring right now, where'de you plan on going?" he asked, banner still waving, almost absentmindedly.
Roxy
Roxy nodded, she'd guessed she made quite a statement. Maybe not. But either way she had an itch to explore. I big scartchy itch. One she couldn't reach, yet. "I want to visit the Forest, then I hear the Croal Mountians are stunning." Roxy said, she has spoken to a very slim crowd of other dogs that were 'strays' or more like 'wild' dogs that had been abandonned, or born as strays intown.
