Jasper

The son of Shiro and Coriscan had gotten lost. That stupid butterfly... it looked so pretty! He just wanted to catch it and look at all those shimmering colors on it's wings. By the time he had grown tired in his unsuccesful chase, Jasper was far from his home.

"Hello..?" The pup called out uncertainly, ears partially pinned back in fear as his tail tucked between his legs. A sudden burst of steam a few feet away made him yelp and leap up in fear. "Mom! Dad!" He howled out, dashing a few yards away to the base of a small mound. Where in the world was he?

Ambrose

The lone black wolf had made the Domes his temporary home, this having been the first place he had come across since entering the valley. His silvery eyes washed over the land, taking it all in with little interest. He had since gotten used to the area and it's unusual firey craters, shooting up steaming pools of lava and fire. He had stayed away from those active ones, though found himself nestled next to one in particular: a nice medium-sized hole, less active than most others but providing just enough warmth for him. Not that he needed it much...

Suddenly, the calls of a pup reached his auds and he studdied the land of rock and heat, squinting against the steam and smoke. It didn't take long till he noticed the youngster dash over to a mound, and he found it in his place to warn the unknown pup. "I'de be careful if I were you," he spoke, casually walking over near Jasper, halting a few yards away. After all, he liked his own space as he was sure everyone else did too. "What are you doing here all alone?" he then asked, auds pricking. He was calm and quiet, even a bit sleepy. The heat often did that to him.

Jasper

Fear had caused his eyes to go wide, until they stood out in their golden hue against his fawn-colored head. The pup seemed to melt to the ground as instincts told him to become submissive with this strange male. "I-I... I.." The answer was in his head, but his mouth failed to spit it out. Never before had he been less than a few bounds from his parent's protective and assuring caress. The terror was just overwhelming!

"I'm l-lost, th-think...." Jasper finally stammered out, his lean muzzle hovering just an inch above the ground, shivering with anxiety, despite the heat that radiated from the land.

Ambrose

The mysterious black wolven simply stood there and stared at the youngster, taking the sight all in through narrowed silver slits. He gave a light chuckle after the young canine stammered, finding it quite amusing to his pricked auds. It wasn't like Ambrose really cared much if anyone was truely 'submissive', but he wanted respect where it was rightly deserved. "So I've noticed..." he spoke, with a deep sigh against the steaming faults. He took a seat on his ashen rump, waving his tail behind him, almost sneakily. He literally had ashes strung upon his pelt, giving him a dotted appearance. However, he didn't care. It was nothing a bit of water couldn't rinse. "Where are you sopposed to be?" he then asked, in his slow casual manner. He decided to skip the introductions and just head straight to the point.
