Tattu
Sunny, warm;
dull... cold
With a brisk shake of his head and a harsh snort, the impala antelope stepped into the ashen domes. His thin, beautiful fur was covered in this hidious white stuff. And worst of all, it was cold! Freezing, more like it. They didn't get this gunk in Africa.
His mind racing with thoughts of this land, most of them negative, he took up refuge next to a large dome, about 5 or so times as big as he was. His big ears flicking around, his big dark eyes studdied the scenery. This place was more like it, but it was awfully peculiar, and had a rechid oder. The warmth quickly melted the icy snow on his pelt away, and gave his body a lot of good heat. Yet, once the big crater he was standing beside shot off a ton of hot steam, he hopped. It wasn't much of a hop, though, but much more of a jump. His spindly yet strong limbs propelled his lean body about 10 feet away, and up to practically 6 feet into the air, to land gracelessly back onto the ground. His species could jump much higher and farther than that, though, and it'de probably provide him much protection later. If only he know what he was in for...
Flipping his tail from side to side, he turned around quickly, staring hard at the fault. What in the world was that? Shaking his head, heart pounding fast, he inched closer, though stayed a few feet away this time. No way was he going to do that again-- no more being caught off guard around here. Things were too fatal.
With a deep sigh, he lowered onto his pure white belly and brought his legs into his belly, laying over partly on his side. Rest was what he needed, especially his mind.

Lily
The gemsbok watched the familiar-looking animal for a while before approaching it. She examined it. It seemed safe, but so did humans before they took the life of her mother, and later, her adoptive mother. The rocks were hard to walk on and almost made her trip several times. She finally reached the antelope and introduced herself. "Hello. I'm Lily. Have we met before?" She paused. "I mean, have you ever lived in Africa, or the nearby zoo?" She hoped she wasn't being rude, but she didn't know how to behave around an antelope.
Tattu
The impala stayed where he was, completely still and motionless. His muscles were tense, as if something was nearby and was going to pounce on him. But if something really was going to, then he'de be running rather than just standing there like a target.
Sighing lightly, his head turned, and his deep eyes landed on the gemsbok. At first, he was slightly taken aback by the sudden appearance, but he quickly overcame it and was feeling normal again. "I don't think so... I'm Tattu." he stated, looking over the very familier animal, though he didn't know her specifically. He had seen these creatures over in Africa before. "I came from Africa, yes... Why?? he then asked, wondering why she was so curious. He was actually quite curious of her as well, though didn't show it at the moment.
Lily
"Interesting..." Said Lily, watching Tattu. "I lived in Africa, too. I was only there for a while when I was young, until my mother was shot down by poachers, then I was brought to the zoo here and raised by a scimitar horned oryx." She paused. "Perhaps we have met..." She swished her tail and flicked her ears. "I'm glad to meet you, Tattu." She couldn't get the resemblance out of her mind, but she figured that maybe she had seen a different impala antelope like him.
Tattu
Tattu looked at her, a bit confused. He couldn't remember ever smelling her exact scent, so they couldn't know each other.
He gave a faint nod, and then moved his shoulders in the close way of humans-- the classic "I don't know" motion. "I lived in Africa all my life-- I just got here a day or two ago." he stated, wishing he could cross the ocean and go back over to his beloved homeland. However, only the humans pocessed such power.
"I don't think we've met... Maybe just seen others like ourselves." he then replied, knowing that everyone over in Africa-- at least the animals, looked quite the same. Only scents could really tell them apart. "I'm glad to meet you, too, Lily. Perhaps we could travel the valley together or something? It seems awfully lonely around here."
Lily
"That must be it." said Lily. "We could--" She looked at Bob and Calvin, noticing that Calvin wasn't watching. "Yes, we can go. I have never been to the other parts of the valley before...Have you?" She looked off in the distance. It all looked new to her.
Tattu
Tattu, thinking it over, finally agreed upon his reasoning. After all, it was entirely too possible. "This is the first place I've been to around here. I want to get to know the area if I have to live here the rest of my life," he stated, releasing a sigh. How depressing to think such thoughts.
"As long as no one gets lost, and no preditors show up, everything should be great. Except for the white junk..." he then said, grumbling as he thought of the powdery crystal stuff that fell from the sky. How annoying!
Lily
Lily nodded. "Yeah. I don't like that 'snow' or whatever they call it, and I don't like predators. So...which way do you want to go?" She looked all around her. There was snow everywhere. She had no choice but to stay here or travel. She didn't know whether to invite Calvin and Bob, or just explore with Tattu. "Do you think...Maybe my brother and father could come? I know they'd like to see the world. And my brother always likes to keep an eye on me." She thought that maybe she was asking too much. After all, Lily and Tattu had just met.
