*Man*

The man leads (or drags) his hybrid fighter to a very open area of the Ashen Domes. In this particular area, there were few faults and dangerous lava flows. Also, there were few domes and trees, so the man and Reaper could see a great distance in any direction.

Several hundred yards from the man was a small herd of five caribou. All of them were lying down, getting warmer from the thermal vents in the area.

The man took the chain off of Reaper's collar, and looked towards the caribou, "See them? Go get one!" He took a step back from Reaper, giving him total freedom. He waited to see what Reaper would do. But if the hybrid tried to make a run for it, or didn't go after the caribou, he was in for a surprise.

Reaper

He saw he had a chance to run and go free but he wouldn't leave jewel all alone and if he ran he'd probably never get to be close to one of his pups if the man got one from Hidden Secrets owner. He'd stay just a bit longer. Any way he had wanted to hunt. He looks to the man for a moment and then begins to slink closer to the Caribu silently. He doesn't make a sound. When he is what looks close enough he springs and leap atop one of the caribu that was lying down. He reaches for the neck and bites hard.

*Caribou*

The caribou watched Reaper approach them, but didn't worry too much. Since Reaper was with the man, the caribou figured he was just a house pet, with little knowledge of hunting. But as the hybrid drew closer, the caribou scrambled up and began to run. The one Reaper leap on was just in the prosses of getting up, and the force of the canine jumping knocked the creature back down.

With a startled cry, the carbiou crashed down onto his side. Reaper wasn't able to get a hold on the side of the creature's neck though, so his fangs couldn't quite reach the jugular veins from there. Struggling to get away, the caribou lashed out with his sharp hoove, and grazed Reaper across the side as the struggling through the hybrid off the caribou's back.

Reaper

He begins to tear the skin in various places on its back to hopefully cause major blood loss so that the caribu he had would die.

*Caribou*

The caribou struggles aginst Reaper as his back is wounded, and blood streams down his thick winter coat. With a last burst of energy, the caribou pulls himself up and turns his head back enough to catch Reaper with one of his antlers. Although they aren't sharp to cause the hybrid any injuries, they do knock him off the caribou. Suddenly free of the burden, the caribou wheels around and tries to stamp Reaper into the ground with his sharp hooves. He felt too fearful to run, so he decided to fight.

Reaper

He quickly stands and leaps up and bites the caribus stomach hopeing to rip it out and cause more blood loss. He then jumps onto the caribus side as not to get stomped on to death and her bites deeply into the side hopeing his plan was takeing effect.

*Caribou*

Going for the stomach places you near the dangerous legs, and just after biting the caribou's stomach, you get kicked in the side once more by a powerful hoof, and are thrown to the ground with a broken rib and a deep gash. Luckily, the sharp hoof didn't peirce deep enough into your side to damage your lungs, so you are in no danger from internal injuries.

The caribou is about to charge at you again, but suddenly stumbles as pain seizes it's damaged underside. Panic and fear grip the creature, and he turns to run from you, but stumbles again, and this time he falls. With a cry of anguish, the caribou struggles to get up, but finds that he cannot. Your risky attack to his stomach caused much damage. The caribou flounders on the ground for a moment, before dying of blood loss and shock.

The man, in the meantime, begins to walk towards you with a slight smirk on his face. He nudges you harshly with his foot to see if you would get up, then strides over to fallen caribou to see just what kind of injuries you caused it.

Reaper

He snarls as the man nudges him hard. He stands and does his best to ignor the pain in his broken rib. he licks his side.

*Man*

The man cut a large chunk of meat from the lain caribou to take back as meat for his two fighters. Later he would come back and retreive the rest of the fallen creature.

Turning back to Reaper then, the man motioned for his fighter to follow him home by saying, "Come, Reaper!" and clicking his fingers.

Reaper

He follows the man back.

*Man*

The man later returned to the area where he left the caribou. This time, he was riding in his truck, and had a riffle with him.

When he came near the caribou, he found that a coyote was feeding on it, along with some foxes darting skitishly around. Before they had time to run, the man shot at the coyote, and hit her in the thigh. His next shot caught one of the foxes in the side, and he missed the last one. Quickly, the man drove closer to the kill and the two wounded animals and jumped from his truck with some sturdy rope. He chased the wounded coyote a short way before over taking her and managing (after a furious struggle) to get a rope around her muzzle and legs. The fox wasn't wounded so much as the coyote, but he was hiding under a dead, uprooted tree base. It didn't take long for the man to tie up the fox either. After placing both creatures, still struggling, into crates in the back of his truck, the man hauled the caribou into the bed of his truck and drove off.
