Silver Myst
She padded into the terrain instantly feeling the warmth though she smelt the sulferic smell. She was careful to stay away from the craters and faults and she dat on the ground waiting for Zhener. The coyotie looked at her front paws looking at the sharp metal claws. She then looked up at the sky to see when Zhener came.
Zhener
He soared in shortly after her and circled a few times, surveying the land. "Very interesting." he said as he landed heavily on the ground, sending up a large cloud of dust in his wake. "I see yellow an orange vater. Very very many zhermals; great to ride on!" the eagle explained, again probably making his topic hard to understand. "Varm air all over in zhe sky, rising up quickly. Very very good for flying. An zhe land is open, but I don't see many creetures 'ere." He tilted his head slighlty, looking about, "I vill find you food. Now? I can go now, if you vish. You are a kind coyote, to help me."
Silver Myst
She smiled. "Yes but dont drink the yellow and orange liquid. Its called lava or magma. Im not really sure which name but all I know is if you touch it you burn to death. She listened to him quite intrested when he spoke of it to be a good place to fly. She then heared what he said next. "If you want. But you dont have to if youdont want to." She said with a smile.
Zhener
He perked his head up, looking about. "Lava vill kill? I've 'eard of such things before from zhe traveling birds, but never 'ave I seen it." his attention switched to the matter of food now, "I know rabbits. But vhat are deer? An svuirrels? Ah vill catch vhat ever you vant, but I need to know vhat zhey look like." Zhener explained. He was ready for a hunt to excise his wings more as they healed.
Silver Myst
"Hmm... well deer have this light brownish color. They have small skinny legs and their young have white spots on their back. The had pretty big ears and the males had antlers." She says tring to describe them best she could. "Oh and they have these tiny tails!" She added looking at Zhener as she spoke.
Zhener
The eagle nodded slowly, taking in the description Silver Myst told him and forming an image of the animal in his mind. "I zhink I 'ave it now. You vant me to get deer, ja?" Zhener tilted his head to the side, speaking in a cheerful tone, "I vill get big deer for you. You are a kind coyote! A good friend to Zhener, ja?"
Silver Myst
She nods a yes. "Thanks Zhener." She then heared his last question. "Of course!" She said wagging her tail. "Your a kind eagle as well."
Zhener
"Zhank you!" he replied enthusiastically, very much elated that his new friend thought well of him. "I vill be back soon!" A new swirling cloud of dust was brought up as Zhener flapped his heavy wings and took to the sky. He rose quickly and after a while had flown out of sight.
It was a while later when the eagle returned, clutching a limp form in his talons. He decended rapidly from the sky, weighed down by his large prize. He dropped the tan-colored form before landing on the ground. Grabbing it with his beak, he pulled it towards Silver Myst. "'ere you are, a deer! I vas a little confused zhough. I saw bigger creetures zhat 'ave long legs and faces, but zhey vere too big to carry. Zhis von looks different, but it was small enough to carry, and big enough for good meal." The eagle stated proudly, looking to the coyote to see if she was happy for the meal. But this was no deer he brought back; it was a dog! A whippet. The poor dog had fit Silver Myst's description; it had long legs, a long face, tan color, and a very thin tail, which Zhener thought was small in width compared to Silver's. He didn't think the ears were so large, but decided since the other descriptions matched, that this must be a deer.
Silver Myst
She looked a bit shocked at first and backed away from it. She shook her head slowly not seeming to happy about it. "Zhener... thats no deer. Thats a dog!" She said looking it over feeling a bit sorry for the dog.
Zhener
"Dog...?" he said, wide-eyed and surprised. Then his head came down and his shoulder wings hunched up a bit, showing his now crestfallen attitude. He studies the dog dismally, "Long legs an face... oh, it vas zhe ears!" he said finally in an exhasperated tone. "Forgive me! I didn't mean to kill dog." His head dropped lower as his searching eyes peered at Silver Myst. "I vill make right, an get deer? I vill get deer zhis time, you still vait for me?"
Silver Myst
She nods. "Yes dog..." She said. She nods forgiving him though she still felt bad for the dog. She padded over and grabbed the dogs scruff dragging it to a crevice and she let the lifless body topple into the lave to burn up. She shook her head once. "Ok I will wait. But also deers have hooves not paws. They also seem to have beady eyes and white chests and stomachs. They aslo roam in herds." She said. She hoped he wouldent bring back another dog though. ut she knew it wasnt exactly his fault for he was new to this place.
Zhener
"I vill not dissapoint you, zhanks for a second try!" he said, sighing in relief when she seemed to forgive him. He was still rather disturbed that he had upset her so, and made a note not to repeat his mistake. "I know hooves, so no mistake zhis time. An beady eyes. Big ears." he repeated, mainly to himself. Again he swirled up a cloud of grey dust as he took to the air.
It took a bit longer this time for the eagle to return. He had nothing in his talons as he landed with a thud near the coyote. "I found two deer, one vith much blood on it. Very big vith sticks in his head. Hurt bad!" he explained, "In zhe marshes. Zhere vere two-leggers an a big cat prowling around, so I didn't get too close. Anyvay, he's too big to bring back. I show you vhere he is? Easy to kill." The other of the two deer he mentioned had some deep cuts over her face and back in response to Zhener's attack. But she had sought safety in a forest that was too thick for him to fly in, so he gave up his hunt on her.
