Aminita
By now an adolescent, Aminita came sauntering over the dusty ground in search of her friend. "Turret! Turret, where are you?" she barked out loudly. She climbed on top of a nearby mound and howled out for him.
Yersinia
Aminita's sister had heard the howl and recognized it instantly for the traitor. While her mother and aunt were busy checking out a new wolf, Yersinia had slipped away to locate Aminita. It didn't take the adolescent long to spot the other sitting atop the mound. Pressing her ears forward, Yersinia made a silent charge across the ground and up the mound. Without a snarl in warning, she launched her light body at her sister and reached her fangs out for Aminita's face.
Aminita
Aminita was the smallest in the litter, although possibly the most lithe. But she was completely unaware of the peril that was barrelling towards her. With a frightened yelp, she tumbled over the ground with Yersinia's fangs dug into her face. Yelping again at the pain, Aminita struggled to throw the youngster off her. "Yersinia!" She barked out, struggling and kicking still.
Yersinia
Yersinia clamped her jaws down hard and shook her head with all her might. "You traitor!" she snarled out bitterly between clentched teeth. She used her larger size and weight to her advantage and tried to place her two front paws on her squirming sister to hold her down.
Aminita
Aminita yelped as the teeth bored deeper into her face. "Let go! Let go!" she yelped out, then began to kick at her sister's stomach as hard as she could.
Yersinia
Yersinia let go suddenly as one random kick struck her stomach especially hard. Snarling at the pain, she circled then lunged again. This time she tried to grab a hold of Aminita's ear.
Aminita
Aminita wasn't much of a fighter, especially since she was still young. Again she yelped as her sibling's teeth latched into her ear. Aminita tried to pull away, but ended up shredding her ear. She snarled next and lowered her body to the ground, "Yersinia, stop this now!"
Yersinia
"Make me, traitor!" she retorted wrathfully and sprung at her sister once more. She attempted to tackle Aminita then reach for her throat.
Legosa
The snowy-pelted dog heard the call that Aminita made. And it came from a youngster; perfect. By the time Legosa reached the scene, Yersinia and Aminita were fighting. Yersinia seemed to be getting the better of the smaller Aminita, so Legosa made his move. Without a snarl or growl to precede his attack, the large mongrel slinked forward and tried to grab Yersinia by the back of her neck.
Yersinia
Gasping suddenly instead of yelping, Yersinia quickly lost though of the attack on her sister. Feeling the jaws close about the back of her neck, Yersinia began to fight and writhe her young body, trying to get away. "Aminita, attack him! You've got to save me!" Her wide eyes narrowed for a moment when she spoke out in a sharp, urgent voice to her sister.
Aminita
"I have no loyalty to you now!" Aminita spat in reply as she quickly scampered away from the towering male who appeared. "Serves you right!" she added, wrinkling her nose in disgust for her sister's demanding plead. Not wasting any more time in this area, Aminita fled.
Legosa
He clentched his jaws tightly so that his ivories pierced deep into her skin and muscles, but with-held enough pressure so her spine wouldn't be broken. He watched as the sister left and didn't try to stop her. Hardly able to speak with such a murderous grasp on his victim, the dog lifted his head as high as he could to clear Yersinia from the ground as he set a quick pace for the Ruins.
