*Cow Elk*
A low cow elk lies down on a barren patch of soil. She was badly infested by various types of parasites.
Narsia & Skeil
The wolfish appearing dog and the pitbull traveled along the edge of a small fault, but were careful not to get too close. They soon came across the elk. They didn't have much practice at hunting larger prey, but figured it would be fun trying.
"Skeil, why don't you circle around the other side of it. We can try and trap by the fault." both dogs begin to advance apon the elk from opposite sides...
*Cow elk*
The dogs were obvious on the open terrain, and the elk was quick to struggle up. Her large ears were turned forward, and she glanced from side to side, watching the approaching dogs. Before they even got close, she turned and began to trot away, towards the fault. If they got closer, she would pick up her pace. She could easily outrun them.
Narsia & Skeil
Skeil bayed deeply and charged after the elk. This was fun. Narsia growled in delight and took off at top speed as well. She gave a side gance to the pitbull, who returned the glance with a grin. They both chased after the elk, trying to drive it towards the fault..
*Elk*
She puts on more speed so they didn't gain on her. She saw the small fault ahead and panicked then, not knowing whether she could jump it or not. Deciding that the fault was too risky, the elk spun around and stopped, glaring at the approaching dogs. She snorted and stomped her front hooves against the ground, threatening them away.
Bullet, Narsia, Skeil
Bullet dashes in and gives a bark to catch the attention of his pack mates. Narsia growled in frustration, but slowed down and turned to face her brother. Skeil did likewise. "What is it, brother? You have perfect timing!" she said sarcastically.
Bullet rolled his eyes, "We have more important things to do now then chase some deer. We're putting our plan into motion... come to the farm house. If you get caught, flee; don't stick around to fight unless Hydras orders it." without waiting for a reply, the large dog turned and headed for the farm house.
Narsia glanced at Skeil. The pitbull shrugged, "I suppose that sounds like fun too. I'd enjoy a good fight instead of fleeing, but oh well." both took off for the farm house.
