Audra & others

Audra knew the pups were coming and she found herself hidden away from most of her fellow pack members. Chocolate orbs look around as the silvery black and white fea settled among torn blankets she had placed in one of the corners by the old tin boxes. It was where she could see anybody that approached her. The contractions had only just started and she knew it would be just a little while longer. Where was Kobalt? The only one she wanted with her right now was her mate and she found herself listening for his approach.

Vixen ran around the den and alleys looking for her sister’s mate, Kobalt. She had requested him and him alone and was shocked to find out that the female was pregnant. Audra had done a good job at keeping her pregnancy a secret but now it was coming out. The female had no clue as to why she hadn’t told the pack but she never tried to understand her sisters ways anymore.

Falcon was lying down with a plump pigeon in his mouth. The titan had tended to Storm and the pups already and was now waiting on news of Dixie from Argolis or one of the others. A sigh escaped him as he placed the prey, meant for the alphess, in front of him. His sister caught his attention as she shot around the den, obviously on the search but when he gave her a quizzical look she simply shook her head. She was becoming as odd as Audra he thought, wondering if something was wrong with his sisters.

Pistol

Pistol had begun to suspect something was up with Audra, and there had been whispers from Rataska and Orchilla about the fae's possible pregnancy. Not wanting to get into the gossip, the son of Bullet kept his opinions to himself and eventually dismissed the curiously round belly that his packmate sported. With spring in full swing and food plentiful once more, he convinced himself that she must just be eating well - after all, he'd seen many in the pack put weight back on now that they were out of the lean times of winter. Pistol himself was enjoying the extra bounty of the warm season, especially as the humans began to cook out and leave more scrumptious food scraps laying about.

On this lazy day, the doberman mix was laying at the top of the metal stairs, with his brows paws hanging idly over the first step, and his hind legs kicked out to one side. He'd gotten back from a patrol about an hour ago, and was resting before heading out at dusk to hunt. While he lounged in the Den, he casually watched the comings and goings of his packmates. He watched as Lerna did her best to keep her brother's offspring corralled, while he and Skeil tended to Dixie. He'd observed Audra slipping away to the corner of the building, where she was hidden behind some tin boxes; likely looking for a quiet place to rest, Pistol thought to himself. But... wait, what was Vixen doing? The wolfdog's floppy ears perked and he sat up straighter, watching the silent communication play between her and Falcon. Becoming more curious, Pistol rose to his paws and started down the rickety stairs, to approach Falcon. "Is it just me, or is Vixen acting... a little strange?"

Audra & others

Audra tried to keep any whining from the pain to herself as she prepared herself for the birthing process. Unfortunately a few did escape her as the contractions bore down harder and continued to increase. Where was her mate, Kobalt? He had to be here for the birth of his children. The Timber Wolf lowered her head to the ground and tried to keep her breathing normal and not to panic. Surely her sister would be back soon…

Falcon turned to look at Pistol when he approached. The son of Bullet was quick to speak up and ask if Vixen was acting strange. A snort escaped him before he answered. Both of my sisters are if you ask me. I saw her coming back from where Audra was and now she’s looking for something or someone like her life depends on it. It never occurred to him that something may be up with his sibling.

Vixen raced outside of the den, looking for Auri or Kobalt at this point. Kobalt! Her voice carried as loud as possible as she looked around in a frantic manner.
