Trap
After allowing time for Luna to get settled into her new pack, Trap returned to the Alleys in hopes of catching up with her again. He hadn't forgotten the promise to show her ice cream, and hoped that she hadn't forgotten either. The long-legged, slender wolfdog approached the Aegis Den at a saunter, with his dark brown tail bouncing idly with each step. Bright yellow eyes looked about the building and the surrounding area, hoping to find Luna...
Luna
A bounce was in her step as she walked toward Trap, a new aura in her orbs. Her silvery-grey tail wagged as she found him.
"Don't worry. I haven't forgotten. Now, let's get some ice cream!"
She barked, a smile on her face.
Trap
"Luna!" He yipped in greeting, happy to see the wolfess again and find her excited about their trip today. "You're gonna love it, trust me." Trap gave her a half grin before leading her out away from the Aegis Den and through the twisting, turning alleys that branched out through the territory. "You have to be kind of careful when you eat it, it's cold like snow. Eat it too fast, and you'll freeze your throat and get a killer headache."
Luna
She nodded, wagging her tail. She plodded after him, cheerfully listening to him. Her heart seemed to swell up and expand in her chest as he looked at Trap. "All right. And don't eat the case it's in."
Trap
The more her tail wagged, the more his did too. This was only the second time he'd met with Luna, but he had an eye for her already, and his brightened mood showed in his light, bouncing steps chipper voice, "Ahh, so you know a little bit about this ice cream business, eh?"
Luna
"Yeah. My mother always tried to snag some for me, but it always melted."
She barked in reply, a smile on her face. Her heart felt as if it was swelling so much that it would burst from her chest. She let out a laugh at her last comment and trotted towards the Alley, smelling the sweet creamy substance.
Trap
Trap chuckled heartily, "That's the bad thing about ice cream, it melts very quickly, especially in the heat of the summer. I don't know how the two-leggers keep it so cold." That had always mystified the wolfdog, but he wasn't interested in that today - today he was far more interested in finding some of the sweet treat for Luna. With that in mind, he led her further from the Aegis Den, and out deeper into the Alleys.
Luna
She wagged her tail softly and nodded her cranium, then followed him.
