Argolis, Trap, & Honthale

Honthale stepped through the heavy front doors of the factory, which were permanently rusted into an open position just large enough for a canine to pass through. Once inside the den, Luna would probably notice how strongly the area smelled of canine, and lots of them. A quick look around would reveal a few of them, such as an elderly male curled up in one corner sleeping, and a dark brown hybrid a few feet from him, tending to some pups. Honthale came to a stop after waiting for Luna and Trap to enter the building, then gave a low, short bark, "Argolis!"

The alpha had been upstairs on the second floor when the bark rang out, and it didn't take him long to come trotting down the steps, which creaked under his great weight. With his tail held high in the alpha position and his pointed ears held forward and alert, there was no question that he was the boss around here, along with his mate. "Another newcomer?" The brute questioned upon seeing Luna, "Who are you?"

Dixie

Dixie was laying in the room that she shared with Argolis while the young pups still slept. Though, as soon as they heard someone calling for their father they were all up. Dixie lifted her head and looked over to the door. She saw Argolis approach the canines who had entered and then as Nico, Desiree, and Cameo spotted their father all calmness was over with. Nico was up and bolting out of the room as quickly as possible and to his father's side. Cameo and Desiree barked as Cameo followed her brother, Nico. Desiree looked up at her mother who was hurrying to follow after the three rambunctious puppies to try and get them back away before the others joined as well. Desiree stayed in the door, watching as her siblings approached their father. Nico reached his father first and stood beside him, trying to copy his stance and such as best as possible. Cameo just ran up and tackled her brother, sending him rolling. Dixie nudged the pups back away from the new canine after giving Argolis a look that said 'I tried to stop them...'

Audra & Others

Audra noticed the newcomer come in right away, since she had just left the corner where Ninaki was sleeping. A rabbit had been placed for the elderly beta, as she was heading to Argolis to ask permission for a pack hunt. Seeing the unknown canines had her freezing in place as her hackles raised. His shout for Argolis stopped her from snarling out who are you.She was pregnant and had gained some weight, but not enough to stop her from pack duty yet. She still stayed to make sure they weren't a threat. Vixen came down the stairs after Argolis, Dixie, and the pups to see what was going on.

Luna

She went into a submissive posture, put kept her muzzle in the air. "Luna. I am here to join your pack." She replied. The hybrid glanced back at Trap, then put her muzzle in the dirt.

Argolis & Others

Not to be left in the dust, Gwen was up and scrambling after her siblings, adding to the mini mayhem with sharp barks of her own. Scape had perked his head up and followed the sounds with his ears, since his sightless eyes were useless to him. That handicap did not stop the young puppy however; he got up and attempted to run after his littermates, only to run smack-dab into his mother's leg. All of this commotion had distracted Argolis, and he looked down at Nico with a trying expression, and yet couldn't bring himself to chastise his son right away; after all, how cute and endearing was it that Nico was trying to mimic him? All the barking and the subsequent tackling of Nico by Cameo finally hit a nerve though, and Argolis growled softly, "This is not the time for play." When he glanced over at Dixie and her appologetic look, Argolis couldn't hold anything against his love, and so he flashed an understanding look to her before turning his attention back on Luna. "Luna? I presume that Honthale has gone over the rules with you already?"

Behind her father, Gwen looked rather cowed after being growled at by him for all her barking. She'd gone quiet and put her ears back... only to get distracted a few seconds later. With a mischievous grin, the young pup suddenly pounced at Nico.

All of the noise eventually woke Ninaki up, who was happily surprised to find a fresh rabbit laid in front of him. He needn't have to ask who had left it there; Audra. The loyal wolf was still nearby in fact, bristling defensively at the newcomer in the Den. Her dedication to him and the pack as a whole had not been missed by Ninaki, an not by Argolis either.

Luna

Luna smiled a little at the squabbling pups as they skittered across the ground. She winked mischievously at Gwen, then turned her attention to the Alpha. "Yes, he has." She replied, calm lyrics spilling from her jaws.

Camden, Orelia & Others

Orelia's sight was fading fast, and her skeleton was plagued with aches and pains. The grandmother of the alpha lay at the back of the room, her chocolaty coat riddled with grey. Beside the labrador, two of her children stood sentry. Iphito, her daughter, lay beside their mother, curled behind her in an effort to reassure her, with her head held over Orelia's body, wary of the newcomers but not threatened by them. Kalion, their brother and son, sat upright, his ears perked forward, watching his nephew greet the new pair carefully. Both brother and sister were tall, well-built creatures, stoic and watchful like great guardians.

Camden was upstairs, watching Argolis and Luna after hearing the call for the alpha. Around him were his children, and they had grown well, almost to their full size. The five offspring - Tyrannis, Kyriana, Violetta, Sarison and Baldur - and their father were soon joined by their mother, Ariella, who also had taken an interest in seeing these potential new recruits.

Sayre and Lyriani were sleeping beside Ninaki. When he awoke, and the scent of rabbit filled their nostrils, they both were drawn to wake too, and found their den inhabited by some new faces. The two siblings watched from the side, joined by their brother Taros Jr.

Finally, Dawn had reached adulthood with grace and poise, and had no traces of her true father in her blood. Instead she carried only the kindness and free spirit of her mother, and the gentle, caring nature of the dog she considered her father, Bullet. She quietly moved to stand beside Bullet, as the pack gathered, and offered him a soft, sweet smile as she too, turned her yellow eyes avidly onto Luna and Argolis. She was looking forward to getting to know the new female, but would wait until the alpha had finished before she moved in to properly greet her.

Audra

Audra allowed her form to relax somewhat when the unknown female took on a submissive stance. Her name was Luna and she was here to join the pack. The wolfess wagged her tail at the idea. Before Argolis could respond to the female, the last of his offspring made an appearance, and it was funny to see him scolding the little rascals. He was quick to return to business by asking if Honthale had gone over the rulers. She assumed that was the name of the brute standing nearby, who she also had failed to recognize. Catching movement she looked to see Ninaki waking up from his nap. Inclining her head slightly to the side, she gave a nod of greeting and a smile, before she walked over to where he was. Ears caught the sound of Luna saying the male had taught her the rules even as she made it to the elders side. Orelia could be seen by Iphito and Kalion in the back, and it made Audra realize how old and fragile the wolfess was getting. Orelia had been in the attack with the Nuova Alba and had been injured as well. Seeing all of the elderly canines made her even more protective of her home and dangerous to those who just wander in. Sayre, Lyriani, and Taros Jr. were beside the aging beta when she made it. Smiling, she greeted each with a quick touch of her muzzle as she waited to speak with Ninaki. Even though she thought the male should retire his rank, she would never say so or challenge his authority. Ninaki, I was wandering if I could lead a hunt? I think it would strengthen bonds and help the newcomer out too. As a way for Luna and her new pack members to get to know each other.

Argolis & Others

The way that Luna winked at his daughter had an unexpected effect on Argolis, and he almost wagged the end of his tail for it. It certainly put the newcomer in a better light and eased that initial caution he always felt with strangers. Gwen was a little too preoccupied with her antics to have seen it, but Argolis responded to Luna with a marginally friendlier tone, "Welcome to the Shadow Lurkers, Luna. As you already know, my name is Argolis. This is my mate and your alpha female, Dixie." His dark muzzle inclined to the side, to nod in the boxer's direction. "Since you have already been given the rules of our pack, I will leave you to introduce yourself to the rest of the family here. For the time being, I would prefer that you remained in and around the Den, and travel with another pack member if you want to explore further."

Bullet had been gnawing on an old bone when Luna had showed up, and now stood alertly during her questioning. Much like Audra, the big wolfdog was particularly on guard around the den, and pitched in to help her bring food back to Orelia and Ninaki. Right now, he stood a few feet in front of the aging labrador, and just off to the side so that he wasn't blocking her view of the alphas. When it was clear that there was no danger, the hybrid relaxed a little and gave Dawn an affectionate nuzzle on the top of her head, always treating her like she were one of his own daughters.

Not feeling energetic enough to stand up, and rather uninterested in food despite the lack of fat and muscle on his body, Ninaki nevertheless returned a warm smile and appreciative look to Audra when she spared a moment to look back at him. Between her kindness and the comforting presence of Sayre and Lyriani, the beta felt at ease. "That's a fine idea, Audra. A hunt would be the perfect way to help her integrate into our family and being to learn names."

Luna

"Thank you." Luna said simply. A surge of pride coursed through her as she smiled at the pack.

Dixie

Desiree hung back behind her mother, peeking out from behind her mother’s legs at the new canine. She was not quite as adventurous and fearless as her other siblings were. Nico yapped as his sister tackled him, sending him rolling. Then their father growled a reprimand at them and Nico’s ears were pinned back and he snorted softly. He had been being good. It was the girls that were getting him in trouble. Cameo was more or less crushed by the fact that she was being scolded by her father. She whimpered audibly and then tucked her little tail between her legs and moved back to the entrance to the part of the den they were now in. She was a daddy’s girl and wanted to make him proud of her, so being scolded by him upset her greatly.

After being scolded, Nico had moved back closer to his mother, though he was soon being tackled once again. This time it was Gwen. He growled at her before giving in and initiating a game. He attempted to bite at her legs as he aimed to circle around her. Dixie caught Argolis’ understanding look and since the pups were back away from what could have potentially been a threat now. Though, by now they had learned that the female was one who had been invited here and she heard herself be introduced to the new female and she looked up from the pups to speak.

Welcome to our home, Luna.

It was a simple statement, but one of welcome. Her vocals were kind and she showed no signs of aggression towards any here. Her docked tail wagged gently in greeting to the new member as well as all of the old members.
