Snowy Owl & Artemisia

The creamy-white female, fitted with her black muzzle, tail, and paws, followed dutifully after her mother. She hadn't spent a whole lot of time with the main branch of Lurkers, though she knew each and every one of them. She was particularly interested in seeing the new pups she had heard about.

Snowy Owl had paused a block away from the old factory, casting her eyes to the sky. It was night, but the moon was full and there was not a cloud to be seen in the sky. Perfect. After seeing the familiar silhouette of a falcon flicker overhead, she continued on. The Lost Vally alphess opted for the doors as her entrance, padding quietly inside as she looked for the leads.

Lyckos

The first set of allies to arrive were the Lost Valley Lurkers, and Lyckos was quick to react to their presence. Smiling, the alpha padded down the stairs towards the alphess.

"Hello, Snowy Owl. Thank you for coming so quickly. Make yourself at home; we're waiting for the other allies to arrive. Hydras should be along shortly."

Hydras & Others

Close behind Snowy Owl was Ankh, sauntering lightly along with his head up high. It wasn't until they were approached by Lyckos that he dropped his muzzle a bit in repesect for the leader. This was one time where he couldn't let his ego get him into trouble.

Rue was next to enter, having followed a short distance from her alphas and cousin. "Ah, that one is Lyckos. And... that one is Hydras." She whispered to Riven as they entered the factory, blunt muzzle pointing out each lead as she named them.

Not long after Lyckos, Hydras had made her way down the stairs. A nod of greeting was offered to those already in assembly. But there were still so many yet to come that she would wait before saying much.

The rest of the main branch of Lurkers soon gathered in on the first floor with the rest. Skeil, Argolis, Lerna, Dianthia, Pistol, and Narsinia piled around the new arrivals in a mass of wagging tails and bumping bodies, happily greeting everyone. The younsters were especially interested in Riven, and weren't shy about sharing their names with him.

"Hiya! I'm Maladay." The youngest and smallest of the pups, a daughter of Skeil, yipped out enthusiastically. She looked like her mother in everyway, except for her standing ears and the black rings about her golden eyes. "I've never seen you before!"

Riven

At the back of the Lost Valley Lurkers, Riven quietly entered the den. He had never been inside the den before, and to see where his allies lived was a big moment for him - it made him feel included in his new pack.

The stocky hybrid padded beside Rue, taking in what she was telling him. He could see why Hydras and Lyckos ruled over this pack, they were both strong, and dominated the room with their presences.

The mass of pups certainly threw him, but he took it in his stride as best he could, trying his best to take in names as he grinned at all the youngsters. "That's because I'm new, Maladay," he replied, tail wagging, "My name's Riven. It's nice to meet you all!"

A respectful nod was sent to Lyckos and Hydras; a look of acceptance of their rank and power, and one of greeting.

I'm going to like it here...

Magnet & Patch

Magnet trotted beside Maladay, purposely bumping her hip into her. "I'm Magnet, Maladay's sister." Magnet smiled.

Patch trotted up to Riven, smiling. "I am Patch, welcome to the Shadow Lurkers." Patch smiled softly, tired from the recent events. "I would love you to meet my mate, but she is currently tending to our newborne pups. Her name is Equiss, she'd like to meet you, I bet...but..." The pups, already were a handful. And they weren't even ready to come out of the 'den room'.

Sweetclover, Taiser, Mandragoro, & Harbringer

Along with Ankh and Snowl Owl's group, the daughter of Legosa and Aaka padded in. At her shoulder was her mate Taiser, limping slightly from an old bullet wound, but otherwise in good condition.

Mandragoro was a spitting image of his great grandmother, aside from his massive size. Keeping quiet, the brother seated himself near Rue and Riven as he waited for the meeting to commence.

Harbringer was eager to reunited with all the Lurkers again. "My, you're all getting big!" The green-eyed hybrid exclaimed, tail swaying merrily as she looked from one adolescent to the next. Then her ears perked up at what Patch had said, and her smiled softened, "If she doesn't mind, I could offer to pup-sit for a bit if she'd like to come down here." For as energetic and outgoing as female tended to be, she was also sweet and gentle.

Satan, Suki, Kuro, Kalion, Camden & Quake

Next to arrive were the rest of the Lost Valley Lurkers. Satan led the way, closely followed by the beta pair, Suki and Kuro. Satan came alongside his alpha's, while Suki and Kuro settled themselves in the middle of the growing meeting.

Kalion padded through the doors to the den, quietly making his way through the crowd. The large hybrid circled round the edge of the gathered canines, laying at the back while he waited for the meeting to start.

Bounding down the stairs after their siblings and relatives, Camden and Quake greeted the extended family enthusiastically, with barks, nuzzles and a lot of tail wagging. Quake was the first to calm down, approaching his parents and nuzzling them both. He sat near the front, with Camden joining him soon after.

Karitania & Pack

As more and more allies filtered into the den, the next set was going to swell the ranks even further. With their alphess at the helm, the Ribellarsi pack of Shimmer Valley came upon the Aegis den. Karitania was first through the doors, her head held high to show her status as the alphess. Her mate, Diseased, and some of her pack were currently absent, so only a few were able to attend.

Following the alphess was her sister, Titania, Domnio, the gamma male, and Lysian, the timid scout of the pack. Then a large group of canines entered, consisting of Chaos, Inkalio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras, Illiya and Thesarios.

Last to enter was a large, beautiful hybrid with her daughter, who was quick to recognise one of the crowd. "Riven!" she cried out, running towards her son and lavishing him with nuzzles and licks. Illiya followed her mother towards her brother, smiling happily at him, but she would wait until her mother had finished her greeting before saying her own hello.

Hydras & Others

As the room was buzzing with random talk and scuffling claws on cement, a savage cry ripped through the air. Hydras looked up in alarm to see Moonshadow rocketing in through a high window and circling around in sharp circles above them, "There are three Haunters on our domain! It appears they are alone, but they're heading in this direction!" She shrilled out in alarm.

Hackles rose up like a million little spines over the queen's back. "Snowy Owl, Ankh - you and your pack stay here and guard Equiss and her brood." She had made the mistake of leaving too few behind at the Den before, and her brother almost paid for the mistake with his life. She wouldn't do it again. "The rest of us will see to it that the enemy pays for their tresspassing." Hydras plunged through the crowd after saying this, tail arched over her back.

Like dominos, the others began to swarm after her. Ankh let out a hasty sigh, not at all liking to get side-lined like that. However, he knew it was vital that a sizeable chunk of fighters remained behind to guard the weak.

Lyckos & Pack, Karitania & Pack

Like a torrent of water, the rest of the Lurkers and their allies, the Ribellarsi pack, swarmed after the Lurker Queen, ominous snarls tearing the tranquil atmosphere to shreads.

Riven, Satan, Suki, Kuro

Unhappy about being left behind, Riven watched his mother and sister leave. Still, they had orders, and he wasn't about to disobey. He stood assertively near the doors to the den, all his senses alert for any sneak attack.

Satan was also unhappy about being left behind, but he didn't complain. "It had to be us left behind, didn't it," He mused, a jovial hint in his voice.

Suki just grinned, and her and her mate sat down at the side of the den, waiting for any news of the pack's confrontation with the Haunters.
