Rex

Rex ran through the alleys in search of both help for the Aspen Grove and safety from the human. He panted heavily as he spoke. "I...I'm Rex of the...of the Aspen Grove and the...Haunters are...attacking." He gasped. "Please...let me stay here. There's a...human out there..."

Aroglis & Others

Argolis was contemplating heading out after Desmon in the resuce of Aurinka. Before he could come up with a decision, an intruder had rushed into their domain. He charged through the upstairs door and scrambled down the steps with fur standing high along his spine.

Skeil was just a little quicker. Temporarily leaving her three young daughters huddled under the stairs, she approached Rex with a wary snark and pricked fur, "Most of our forces are at the Shadow Hedge; we can't afford to spare any forces right now." The pit bull didn't trust the Aspen Grove, but because they were obligated by alliance and the fact that Aminita was part of the pack, Skeil had to relent.

"Call your pack here, if they can make it. Otherwise, there isn't much we can do until Hydras has finished her battle at the Shadow Hedge." The mother informed, sounding less aggravated than before.

Argolis stood on the lower steps of the stairs as he looked to Skeil, "What about the human?"

Skeil shook her head, "If a human shows up, we will hide. We don't engage two-leggers around our home unless absolutely neccessary."

Sin

The muscled human continued to chase after the pup, growling and aiming his gun, but he didn't want to waste another dose. He would wait until the pup was cornered. He would make sure he cornered it, he had been doing this his whole life. Ever since he was a kid he chased animals to catch and fight them.

Leaping over piles of trash and fallen fences, Sin was able to stay hot on Rex's trail. He slowed as the pup entered the abandoned factory. "Sneaky devil." He said, then looked at his gun and shoved it back in his back to pull out a revolver. Inside: Home made tranquilizing darts to fit in the slots, but still held enough dose to knock out a full grown wolf.

Moving up to the door, he slipped in and looked around. Smelling the stench of strays. "Jack pot." He grinned, "Here puppy puppy puppy." He said, keeping his gun held low. Looking around for the pup which had been able to get away from him.

Aroglis & Others

Hearing the human's approach from outside, Skeil hissed darkly, "You led the enemy to our doors!" The white pit bull scrambled back towards the steps, picking up Magnet first and hustling her up the stairs to hide with the other pups.

Catching on, Argolis snatched up Maladay and toted her up the steps to the second floor.

Iridia was left alone for a few moments while her two sister were being safely hidden. The pit-mix left the safety of her 'nest' and wondered uncertainly out into the open, just as Sin was entering the old building.

Sin

His dark eyes searched around the room, hearing the echoes of claws tapping against the ground. "There are more, but how ma-" As he scanned he stopped on Iridia and smiled. "Well now, aren't you just a cutie." He chuckled, looking around and then moving to the little puppy. Keeping his eyes up he scooped the creature into a secure, yet gentle hold. Not to freak the pup out completely. "Looks like you have some pit bull in ya. You'd make a good fighter dog fer sure." He smiled, petting the pup's face and muzzle to let it smell him.

Looking around, he freely held out the revolver. Knowing the pup wasn't alone and the parent was still around. "Should I go home with just this prize?" he questioned before backing near the door. Taking one last look for any others that may venture out.

Rex

Rex was like his grandfather. Stubborn, protective, and a bit arrogant at some times. He stepped out from hiding and faced the human. "If you don't put that pup down you'll have the entire Valley after your head." He barked, although he knew the human couldn't understand him. He dodged down and snapped at Sin's leg.

Sin

The man looked up at the pup and chuckled. "You're a little brave one ain't ya. It's a good trait to have in the ring." Lifting up the revolver, he stepped at the pup to make him turn, then shot, hopefully to catch the pup in the side with the tranquilizer dart.

Rex

Rex yelped when the dart went into his side. "My mother will...kill..." He growled before falling asleep.

Sin

He smile, now trying to calm the pup for he knew the decently loud PAP noise would have scared it. Then walked over to Rex, "I knew I'd get ya, ya little bugger." He knelt down and picked out the dart. Reloading the empty cartrige into the gun so that he wouldn't have to dig through his pack for the holder. Shoving the gun into his back pocket, He scooped up Rex in his other arm and left the den and moved to his truck. There were three horses in the trailer, but also the two cages; which were now empty. Carefully placing down Iridia, he laid Rex's limp body into one and shut and locked it. Then took the pup in his other arm and took him to the cabin. Starting the machine, he took to drive home.

Magnet

The six month old pup snarled, her half-brother was shot. Magnet raced towards Sin, her teeth bared as she launched herself into the air and towards him. "Back away from him you human scum!" Magnet snarled, teeth barred. She carried so many traits from Skeil, yet so much of Windsong's also.
