Hydras & Pack

Hydras returned a short while after meeting with Kalaber. Making her way to the center of the den, she gave a quick bark to get everyone's attention, "The Avengers are in possible danger. With the loss of Aaka, it is vital that we remain loyal and responsive to our remaining alliances. If war should break out, we will be heading to the Shadow Hedge territory to battle. The Aspen Grove pack is being alerted and is expected to help out as well." Hydras looked towards Reaper and the other pups that were still in the Den, "Those too young or too wounded to fight will be escorted to the Woodland Farm if we are called to fight."

Bullet gave a heavy sigh, not liking this whole warring thing one bit. He feared constantly for his pups and mate.

Suenga + Arget

Suenga approached his alpha, his eyes cold with fear. "Hydras, my mother is missing. She said she left to have pups...but its been too long. I'm afraid something bad happened to her." Suenga reported.

Arget stirred, oh no, another battle. She stood up, stretching. Unaware of Suenga's fear. She chewed on a bone, only half-heartedly listened. It'd be better if humans just shot them all. Those damn Haunters.

Hydras & Pack

The alphess looked to Suenga, her hard eyes softening just a little, "Do you know where she last was?" Before giving the other time to reply, Hydras looked upward and gave a sharp bark to Black Feather, "Scout the area, and see if you can locate Fanta." Hydras then looked back to the wolf, "I don't want you out scouting for her on your own. If the falcons can't locate her soon, I will send a search party out." Experience had taught her well, and she knew in these troubled times that sending a lone member out into enemy territory was to sign their death sentence. They had lost too many already.

Hydras & Pack

Just as Black Feather was taking off, Mesa was gliding in and landing in front of Hydras, "I have news! Sweetclover and her family have entered Lost Valley. Scaria has had four pups, and has been welcomed into the Ochotona pack." The falcon brought her head up a little, excitement playing in her voice, "And I came across a son of Aidan's, who had been taken by the Haunters last year. I believe it is Coriscan, and it appears he is a defector of the Haunters. He's living in the Calypte Ranges, and has four pups there."

Ankh stood up instantly upon hearing there were others in his territory, "Hydras, it's time I head back anyway." The fiery hybrid was bound determined to get back to his home, but was wise enough to wait for his aunt's permission.

So much news, but it was all good to hear. "Go, Ankh. Take Hailstorm with you. Sweetclover and her kind are to be treated as well as Aaka; we need them as allies still." She turned to Mesa again, eyes narrowed slightly as she thought, "Honthale, you'll go the meet with Coriscan; Mesa, go with him. See what he knows, and where his alliances are."

She now looked to the rest of her pack, "We are taking a trip to one of our allies." The alphess headed for the door now, her head held high in reflection of her spirits. The recent death of so many members and allies pulled heavily at her heart, but it seemed that things could possibly be turning around a bit now.

Not about to second guess his sister, Bullet was quick to scramble up and follow after.

Honthale was not at all pleased with his new assignment, but like his father, he knew better than to debate. Growling quietly to himself, he headed out to meet with his astranged cousin.

Hailstorm, just getting the hang of flight, followed after Ankh and the others as they headed back to Lost Valley.

Suenga

"Thank You." Suenga dipped his head, he would find his mother. And soon!
