Ressurrection
So this was her fate. She was to be the 'hostage' of the Shadow Lurkers. She was being dragged by one of them, her leg broken and her body aching but still no noise escaped the Risen look alike. Her eyes however, they were dead. As if someone had sucked all life out of them. She wasn't going to appease them with her tears, nor was she going to beg for mercy. Indeed, she'd rather be dead. Her thoughts flashed back to her family, and she bit back a snarl. They had betrayed her, all except sweet little Purgatory. The only one who still cared.
Kuro
The hybrid dropped Ressurrection in the center of the den on the lowest floor and began to circle her with fangs bared and growling. He would wait for the higher powers to arrive, Sequioa and Ankh, before starting an interrogation. "You don't cry out, yet you lie battered on the ground. Either your very brave, or very stupid."
....ressurrection....
Her eyes lifted to Kuro, those dead soulless eyes and she said softly I'm not brave, nor am I a fool. I give you nothing, for you have given me no reason to. Then she fell silent. She sat up, into a laying position with her leg out beside her. She was nothing to them, nor were they anything to her. Just another misfit.
Ankh, Hatch, & Mesa
With blood still lingering on his muzzle, Ankh pressed his snarling face close in to Ressurrections, with no room for sympathy for her yet. "Your life depends on what you tell us. Where is the other pack you mentioned? And how are we to prove you're not with your vile sister any more?" He demanded, spitting out his words like a poison.
Hatch circled around the group, hackles bristled up as his fangs were bared. He was beginning to enjoy this as much as his father did.
As the group began to interrogate their new captive, Mesa joined her mother in surveying the perimeters. In a month or so, she would leave the Alleys in search of a place of her own. But unlike her brother, she would never betray the Lurkers, and would be at their aid when ever needed.
Ressurrection
She turned those dead eyes to Ankh now, and a smile broke out across her face. They call themselves the Ancient Guardians. I believe they reside at the Croal Mountains. If you want proof that I'm no longer with the Haunters.... There. There is was. Suddenly emotion lit into her eyes, but it was a deep anguish, so deep she thought she could feel it ripping her in two. In a slightly choked voice she said Go to the Aspen Grove pack. They will tell you of my betrayal. She wanted to curl up in a corner, melt into the floor. Die. She wanted this pain to be over with.
Ankh, Hatch, & Mesa
Sharp yellow eyes were narrowed as he glared at Ressurrection, striving to make her fearful and intimidated, despite his small stature, "Aspen Grove? I don't like that sound of that, but my sister does live there..." He trailed off, before making up his mind. "Hatch, see if her story checks out. We'll have to take a trip to the Croals as well."
Hatch didn't waste any time asking questions. He took off like a rocket, treating this expedition more like a game than the serious task that it was.
Kuro
Kuro snarled, circling Ressurrection with a sinister glare. Gums were still curled back in a vicious snarl, even as she offered information. Glances were given to the others, but he didn't say anything. Just for security purposes.
