Lyckos

The hybrid decended from one of the upper floors after inspecting the alleys from the higher levels of the factory. Reaching the center of the lowest floor, Lyckos howled to call the Lurkers. They needed to get out and move around, possibly a hunt would do them good too. Watching for the pack as it gathered, he seated himself and waited, deciding it was time to step up to his duties beside Hydras.

Kalion came down from the second floor after sleeping in one of the rooms.

Satan and Vitani had been on the roof, and slowly came down to join Suki and Kuro who had been on the third floor. All four joined the brothers and waited.

Skeil, Ankh, Desmon, Hatch, & Scaria

Hydras came quickly, easing up beside her mate as he rallied the pack. As the troops came filing down, she leaned her tri-colored muzzle closer to his and whispered, "After your announcement, I would like to speak with you in private." There was a hinting of a smile shown in her dark eyes, but she said nothing further.

Nudging Sasha and licking her face, Bullet stood up and shook himself off. With a yawn and a stretch, he sauntered down the steps and stood at attention in front of his alphas.

Skeil scrambled up from her sleeping quarters at the far corner of the room. Without missing a beat, she scrambled over to the group and stood attentively.

Ankh wasn't so spurred as Skeil and Bullet. He took his time to wake up from a good nap. But he did make it down, and seated himself beside Satan as he waited.

Desmon and Hatch were just engaging Scaria in a game of leaping as high as they could. When Lyckos called for their attention, Desmon quickly rounded up his younger cousin, "Follow me." With Hatch looking about as enthused as his father, the trio made their way to the meeting.

Leaving Mesa to keep watch outside, Pirqua drifted in from one of the upper windows. Moving as graceful as a Swift, the peregrine landed on a post above the alphas. Rousing her feathers into a comfortable position, she listened.

Snowy Owl & Honthale

Following right after her mate, Snowy Owl stood next to Ankh as she turned her attention to Lyckos and Hydras.

Honthale had been just outside the den, having found a bit of trash to snoop about in. The the call of his alpha, the soon-to-be yearling sprinted inside with a raggy sock clentched tight in his jaws. Nudging himself in near his brothers, the hybrid shook his head vigorously, letting the sock flap around enticingly in their faces.

Lyckos

Lyckos turned his head slightly as Hydras whispered to him. Nodding briefly, he turned back and watched each member arrive, offering a small smile to each of them.
Deciding most were now gathered, he took a deep breath. Lurkers, it has been a while since we ate, and by that I mean proper meat. I feel it is time we went hunting. All those who feel capable should come as we'll need everyone to bring something down that is enough for the whole pack, pups included. His eyes scanned the gathered canines as he spoke, ears forward but otherwise still.
Now, I think the Tall Grass Prairie shall do, there will probably be a lot of game out eating the long grasses.

Kalion nodded, standing up, along with Suki, Kuro, Satan and Vitani. They were all waiting for the Alpha's to lead out. Lyckos shook his head, Skeil, Ninaki, Lead the pack to the Prairie, I need to speak with Hydras. We'll be along shortly. With a nod of dismissal, the hybrid turned back to Hydras.

Kalion shrugged, turning to Skeil. Ready when you are.

Lyckos grinned at his mate, How'd I do for my first speech? Then, he stopped smiling, but his eyes were still warm. What did you need to speak to me about?

Ninaki & Black Feather

Having seated himself off to the side of the group, the beta stood alert and nodded to Lyckos. "Of course." Ninaki looked over the rest of the pack before sauntering through the doors and heading for the prairie.

To keep a watch over the pack, Black Feather sailed high above. It was his duty to ensure that his fellow members were not ambushed by enemy, or assauled by the two-leggers.

Sequioa * Sasha

Sasha opened eye and yawned hugely, as if enjoying a great dream but there was a grin on her face and she stood, padding towards the sounds of the others. HEaring the words of her alpha, she said Ah...If it is alright with everyone, I'm going to stay behind. She had a feeling, and she wasn't sure she liked it or not yet but she knew she needed to stay behind.

Sequioa came racing through the doors, slamming hard into a piece of wood, her breath coming in short gasps. She shook herself off, then came quickly towards the alphas. Not to...Disturb you two, but I saw Risens half sister, Ressurrection at the Downtown. She appears to be alone, but I don't like her so near the alleys. Ressurrection, she had not done an ounce of good for the Lurkers, but now she was so near....So very near.

Hydras, Skeil, Ankh, Desmon, Hatch, & Scaria

Following after Ninaki, Skeil had headed out the door and made her way for the Tall Grass Prairie.

Ankh and the others were just following when Hydras gave a sharp bark to halt them. "Sounded perfect to me." The alphess replied firstly to Lyckos, then adressed the rest of the pack as she recieved news from Sequoia, "Take Ankh, Snowy Owl, Kiro, and Hatch with you to investigate Ressurrection. Mesa will scout the area to be sure she is alone; and if she is, we will take her hostage. Bring her back here and break two legs." She hated to break the pack apart during a hunt, but Risen was such a dire threat to them that they had to jump at the smallest chances to hinder her. Hydras looked to Sasha next, "If you wish to stay behind, Pirqua will remain her to keep a lookout."

Ankh looked from his mate and the others asigned to take down Ressurrection. "Finally, some fun around here." With a smirk, the small ebony hybrid altered his course and headed Down Town. Behind him bounded Hatch, eager for the fight.

Desmon, making sure Scaria was right beside him, hurried to catch up with Skeil. He would fight when needed, but he'd rather avoid bloodshed if possible.

As the pack began to file out, Hydras returned her attention to Lyckos and adressed the topic she had been mulling in her head for quite some time now. "I have been putting something off for a long while now, waiting for the best time when there is little danger to our pack... but I've come to realize there will always be some threat to the pack, and there will never be a 'best time' for it." The hybrid narrowed her eyes in thought as she looked down briefly, then back up to her mate, "Lyckos, it has always been a dream of mine to have pups. In the past years, I always put it aside because of wars and threats from our enemies... but I can't keep putting it off, for we will always have enemies." The leader paused again, feeling as if she needed to make good explanations for her wish to have pups, but finally she just broke down and said it, "I really love you, Lyckos. I don't want to lose you like I did Demon."

Lyckos

Lyckos drew his attention from his mate as Sequioa delivered news of Ressurrection, which was sorted quickly by Hydras. Watching the pack split and disperse, Lyckos couldn't help but feel the same dislike for dividing them, but if there was any chance of damaging Risen's plans then it would be a risk they would take. Whilst he didn't doubt the power of the various pack members, he was still nervous about the whole situation. With only Sasha remaining behind, he felt a bit more optimistic, afterall there would be enough to raise the alarm should Risen attack.

Once most of the troops had gone, Lyckos turned his attention back to Hydras as she spoke. His eyes met hers throughout the whole speech, no matter what feelings he was experiencing. With a neutral expression, he listened silently until she had finished. Once silence had filled the room, Lyckos slowly cracked a smile that grew to shine as he stepped forward to brush against Hydras with a nuzzle. Even with enemies, I would never leave you...or any children we may have. The same thoughts have been eating me for these past few weeks and I'm glad you've bought it up. Yes, Hydras, I would love to have pups with you. Please, don't worry, I shall never leave you or our children. Ever. For I love you, I have ever since I first saw you. He paused, smiling warmly. Now, Are you ready to be a mother?

Hydras & Pirqua

The words of Lyckos did much to ease Hydras's anxieties, although she always kept it in the back of her mind what could happen. Death seemed to lurk around ever corner here, and darkness was growing in the Valley. Where once her pack had been the 'evil' ones, they now looked positively friendly compared to the new threats growing at the Ruins. But as she had told herself before, there would always be something to fret over.

"As ready as I'll ever be." The alphess replied, nuzzling her mate before padded slowly away.

Meanwhile, Pirqua remained behind to scout for trouble, and ensure Sasha's safety.
