Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Mesa, & Equiss

Hydras was first in, leaping through the hole in the wall and landing gracefully on the dingy cement. Her golden eyes adjusted quickly to the darker interior as her nose instantly went to work. Was Fanta back here already, with her new pups?

Skeil was in next, plunding into the den, her claws clattering loudly against the solid ground. While Hydras seemed intent on finding something, the pit bull began to search the area, making sure everything was alright, and there weren't any intruders.

Equiss toppled head over heels through the hole after making a short jump. Landing on her side with a thud, she scrambled up and shook herself off, then looked around quickly, hoping that no one saw that clumsy act.

Mesa was perched high on the rooftop, watching the pack return home. The one-legged falcon was on sentry duty tonight, while her parents were out somewhere.

Sasha*Scream*Voodoo

Sasha was next in, she stood outside for a moment before jumping into the Den. She bit back a whimper and limped past her daughter and to the back, heading to her little spot. She was weary, and felt like a thousand men were beating on her brain with little hammers.

Voodoo and Scream were the next in, with Scream in the front beating his much smaller black sister. "Ha!" He said to her. With his head and tail high, he trotted further into the den. Seeing Equiss, he pounced on her, growling savagly. Equiss was more his size and was much more fun to play with.

As her brother took off, Voodoo pouted. He always wanted to play with Equiss, never her. She was to small. Her tail tucked, Voodoo made her way towards her aunt helping her in searching. For what she didn't know, but she could at least pretend.

Ninaki

Ninaki came in after Sasha and the pups, quietly keeping an eye on the youngsters without needing to be told. As Hydras begain to search for something, the beta curled up in the far corner of the den and rested his long, dark muzzle on his forelimbs. Deep, golden eyes flickered from the shadows as he continued to watch the pups. They reminded him of his own offspring, and in silent agony, he reminiced on the 'good days'.

Demon Thrasher

Demon padded siloent into the den, auds searching everywhere. For some reason, he still felt as if he didn't fit in, didn't belong here.
Just because you're so used to wandering. You haven't known pack life. He tried to tell himself. He padded to where a small pile of boxxes were by the wall and curled up, watching the entrance alertly for his friend.

Fanta&Silverfur

Silverfur and Fanta both rested, Fanta licking each pup to nurse.

Patch flung himself into the air at Equiss and the others, attempting to get a tackle. " Watch out!" He warned as his front paws left the ground

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Mesa, & Equiss

The alphess spared a quick glance to Demon, and then to Voodoo as the youngster trailed her. If her nerves were more frayed, she may not have tolerated this; but as it was, she was secretly pleased to have some company. It didn't take long for her to locate the new mother- whom she had been seeking out. Padding towards Fanta and Silverfur, Hydras looked curiously down at the new litter, "Congratulations. Have you named them yet?" As always, she felt the twinge of regret and desire, for she still had no mate, and no pups. And she was the alpha!

Equiss fell to the ground, giving a yelp at first before she realized it was only her brother. Wriggling onto her back, she shoved all four paws upward, trying to toss him back. "Get 'em, Patch! Let's pin him!" She laughed, trying to get Patch to help her double-team Scream.

Once all the pups were back safely inside, Bullet entered the den. He stood for a moment, watching as his youngsters played, then headed over to Sasha's resting area. Stretching out his legs, he then plopped down next to her, resting his big head on his paws to continue watching the youngsters.

Skeil trotted towards Fanta and Silverfur as well, seeing that Hydras had found them. A big smile spread over her blunt muzzle as her dark eyes fell upon the newborns. "They're adorable!"

Hatch

The other youngster entered the den a bit after the other, his eyes wide with excitement. "Hey, guys! Guess what I saw!" He barked, rushing for Patch and the others as they wrestled on the ground. Hatch pranced around the trio, tail waving enthusiastically as he waited for them to listen.

Atticus

And then there was an unnanounced visitor in their midsts. Decided he quite like the company of the Lurkers, and one in particular, Atticus invited himself into their Den. Shaking his pelt and holding himself in a casual manner, as if he belonged to the pack, the hybrid sauntered towards Hydras. He stood close, so that his fur just barely brushed hers as he looked at Fanta's litter with mild interest. "Geez, more pups? I'd say the pack is on a population boom. But hey, that's a good thing, right?"

Voodoo

Voodoo eyed the pups with curiosity and came closer until she was standing over one, her head tilting to the side. She sniffed it gently then licked it and laid down, as if the pup was her own. Finally, someone smaller then she was! Yay! Her eyes drifted to Atticus and she tensed slightly. Something about the white male scared her, something she couldn't possibly explain.

Scream laughed and nipped his sister when suddenly Patch was upon him. With a loud oof, the male fell to his side and growled as visciously as possible, trying to get the other male off. It was different having others your size to wrestle with, especially when your used to picking on someone whose a good ten pounds smaller then you and is meek compared to these two. Voodoo, she was the thinker now. Now that Panic was gone, she had become the serious and quiet, always watching.

Sasha scooted closer to her mate and rested her head upon his back, watching the pups play. A soft smile crossed her lips as she watched Atticus. He had the worst traits out of both his parents, their temper, their ego. It was like having another Legosa and Aaka running around only he was younger, and quite possibly stronger if he started working on his fighting abilities.

Suddenly, another white form could be seen but this one had grey intermixed. He was large, not quite as much so as his brother. Faute never let Atticus live down the fact that he had beaten his older brother at a fight. As he came forth, he looked the white male straight in the eye and said in a flat tone "Mother wished for me to tell all of you that she has had pups. Three. She will bring them by soon, and was wondering if you would help keep an eye on them, Hydras. Shes afraid that some...Others will try and kill them." He wasn't going to say that Aaka feared that Him, Legosa and Atticus were those others. Heh, she didn't need to know that.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Mesa, & Equiss

Hydras watched Voodoo's actions actions intently, but could see how careful and gentle she was with the frail youngsters. Maybe this one would grow up to be a good pup-sitter for the pack. While awaiting Fanta and Silverfur's reply, the alphess was agrivated by Atticus and his bold moves. A snarl flared up in her throat as she suddenly lashed out at the side of his neck, looking to give him a sharp bite if he didn't back off quick enough. Fur bristled, she looked next to the brother as he entered. Hydras relaxed slightly, especially after hearing the news. "We can handle a few more." She confirmed, although was slightly alarmed about these 'Others'.

Bullet chuckled quietly as Atticus was reprimanded once again by his sister. It felt good to see someone else get the brunt of her frustration for a change, instead of him. "Sounds like we're going to have a full den." He added quietly, hearing the talk of Aaka's pups joining them. Five different litters all in the same place - two of Fanta's, Ankh's, Sasha and his, and Aaka's.

Equiss nipped at Scream's ears before bouncing away, disreguarding his furious snarls at Patch, "We got him! We got him!" She giggled out loud, continueing to bounce around as she nipped randomly at her brother. The youngster absolutely adored her Patch. During their little game, she was distracted by Hatch, and stopped to cock her head curiously at her cousin, "What is it?"

Atticus

Startled, Atticus sprung away from the assailing teeth, ears back for a brief moment to the alphess. He was about to say something to her when Faute showed up. The hybrid met his brother's gaze without hesitation, his orbs slightly narrowed at the other. "Bastard pups." He hissed under his breath, finding no joy at hearing they were born. Atticus cared about his mother, sure, but the pups... Aaka was right to worry about their well-being.

Unknown

The silver fea was the last to enter after the whole ruckus she was drained. Why were those two always showing up tommenting her then disappearing into thin air. All she had done was protect an innocent pup from them. Seeing Demon upon the boxes she moved closer to him curling up beside the boxes her silver fur matted on one side with dried blood she would clean in later she wanted to rest. She watch the pups and smile gracing her features on silent wonder "maybe one day, maybe"

Traitor

I slink into the Alleys and past Unknown. I see Unknown and give her a weak smile, and mouth softly to her I'm sorry. They were my brothers, and I felt responsible for their actions even though I couldn't control them either. I trot towards Hydras and halt, then say softly to the alphess "Moon Spirit, she to has had pups. Five. She just wanted to let you know." I gave Atticus a sweet and gentle smile, before turning and trotting towards the playing pups. With raised eye brows, I sat and watched as the two ganged up and attacked the other, Scream. They were cute, and so innocent. God, so very innocent. I couldn't help but like them. Sighing softly, I lay down and watch.

Fanta.Silverfur.Patch.Pups

"The male is Suenga, the first female is Wind Feather and the last female is Arget." Silverfur announced proudly looking at Traitor, now knowing the fae to well but she smelt some what like Torment and Torture.

"Three won't make a difference, they'll be just as loyal as any wolf in here." But Fanta didn't know if all the wolbes here were loyal. Still the cheer warmed her body.

Patch dashed after Equiss and gave happy barks as they tackled their targets. Then when Hatch came in he sat up. " Whatcha see Hatch?!"

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Mesa, & Equiss

Turning her attention back to Fanta, Hydras took in the names that were given. The pack was quite large now, although a good portion of the members were pups; something that made the Lurkers rather vulnerable at this time. "I will have at least three adults stay at the Den at all times, to help ensure their safety." Hydras didn't want a repeat of what happened not so long away, where they lost Panic and Lasher from a surprise attack. "I will send some of the pack out soon to gather food, as well." Practical, yes. Deep down, she really did adore pups, but her emotions didn't always show that well. Now the alphess focused on Traitor, and her hackles rose slightly. This was an ally, but still an uneasy one right now because of her brothers. "Five pups? I will have to send her my congratulations." Not only were the Lurkers growing, it seemed, but their allies too. It was great news, but now... now this was a horribly vulnerable time for them all. Two of her greatest allies were bound down by new pups, just as her own pack was.

Skeil fawned over the three little pups, her tail wagging as she listened to Fanta, "Those are wonderful names."

Equiss was wagging her tail a mile a minute as she waited for her cousin's reply.

Hatch

With their attention, he lowered his voice to a whisper and moved in close so that only they could hear him, "I saw humans... they were carrying a tree in their den!" His eyes were wide as he went on, "I noticed a bunch of their dens have trees in them... the pine trees. Covered in lights and shiny things." Hatch explained, excitement sounding in his hushed voice, "At night, lets sneak out and try to get into a human den, then we can see the trees better!"

Aaka

Scream stood and his hackles were raised as he bristled. When he heard what Hatch had to say, he looked at his cousin quietly. "Humans are bad though.... The hybrid said. Pups would be wanted for human children, and well they were five pups if they included Voodoo. And Aakas pups would probably want to come along as well, more then likely.

Voodoo curled up beside the male and smiled as she continued to lick him. She saw the others and how they stopped playing and she gave an apologetic smile to Fanta and Silverfur before standing and heading over. When she heard Screams last words, she halted but grinned. Ah, come on big brother! Whats the worst that could happen? Ignoring her older brothers mumblings, she wagged her tail excitedly. This would be so much fun!

Aaka came through the door suddenly, and when her eyes landed on Atticus and Faute, she bristled slightly. Through the pup in her jaws she said Leave Then set down Essence, who was an exact replica of the white female except for the gray, it was on her muzzle instead of forehead. The male, he was black with white feet, ears and a white harness like marking. His name, was Redemption. The other, a female, was black with a white line on her face with a grey marking that goes across her face and down like a horses bridle. Three sets of puppy blue eyes were on the other pups, and they slunk towards the them. Hi, I'm Vengeance. This is my sister, Esscence and my brother Redemption. Whats your names? As Ven made all of the introductions, Aaka murmered softly to Hyrdas I'm sorry, but I do not trust the boys with them. Legosa, he will kill them. I don't know what else to do. A mothers instinct was to protect, even if that meant leaving them. Will...Will you pretend as if they are yours? And...And that I was just pupsitting them? I'm sure you can convince them.... Tears welled up in Aakas eyes. I don't want them to know the truth. That there are somethings that even I cannot protect them from.

Demon

Demon raised his crown, banner waving at sight of Unknown. As she curled beside him, he lay his head on her back gently, sighing.
"Hello Unknown." He said quietly, wathing the pups play. But his attention shifted quickly to the offspring of Aaka. He watched all the whelps when they were closer together. Silent, and, when speaking, very quiet, he lay curling with Unknown. Being one of his only friends in all of Sparkling Creek...and by far, his best.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Mesa, & Equiss

Golden eyes landed on the young ones as a rare smile shown on her muzzle as they gave their names. "Hydras." She replied to their question, then looked sternly to Aaka, some sympathy showing for her friend and ally, "I will do this, but..." She took a second to glance at all of the pups here. "...this makes my pack a target. Aaka, please stay near and ready with your own pack, just in case." Hydras looked to the young ones once again, motherly instincts tugging at her heart as she imagined that these three where her very own, "I hear your sister has a new litter as well."

Equiss flashed a look at her aunt and Aaka, then back to her siblings and friends, "We can do this! We just need to find a way to distract the adults..."

Aaka

Her smile was faint and faded as she nodded her head. "I will make sure that we are ready and near. Moon Spirit....She will be as well. Thank you Hydras...." With that she trotted away. As she passed the pups, Esscence began to run towards her mother but Aaka shook her head. "No, baby. Your moms over there. I'm just the pup sitter until things were safe for you to come here." The white pup looked at Aaka puzzled then turned to Hydras. "Oh..." She said softly. With that she ran towards Hyrdas and pounced on her 'mothers' foot. "Can we play?" She asked.

Unknown

She liked the feel of Demon's touch as she curled closer then normal after that sudden attack she was a little rattled. she smiled up at Traitor she didn't blame him and she gently mouthed to him
Its okay
Her silver eyes drifted back to the pups and then to Aaka the female she had met once. Aaka had a threatening presence and although she was an allie she felt herself stiffen. She relaxed quickly as she caught sight of the pups playing and sighed.

Demon

Demon closed his eyes briefly, a wave of sadness washing him. He had no clue why. When he opened his eyes, he glared at Traitor for a moment but let the glare drop, not really feeling any caution or need to worry over the wolf. He tensed, however, as he spoke to Unknown and never could let it go. Soon after he felt the body under him stiffen as well. He raised his head to see what she was looking at, then lowered his head once more onto her back. He sighed, his chest rising and falling that one time noticably. His eyes were half closed, warm lying next to the fem, and once again he sighed, comfortable, yet at the same time uneasy.

Atticus

Surprised to see his mother, there was a faint wag from his tail and the glimmer of joy in his sharp eyes. For as arrogant, hot-headed, and cold-blooded as he may be, his mother was about the most important thing in the world to him. His enthusiasm was quickly shot when he was told to leave, and even further more when he saw the reason behind it; those little whelps! They had his mother's affection now!

Glaring spitefully at his three half-siblings, Atticus stalked out of the den, disappearing through the slightly-ajar steel doors, the hybrid left the area. But not for good, by any means.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Mesa, & Equiss

Your mom... The words seemed to strike her like a physical force when Aaka said them. Here was what she had always wanted, but she was now at a loss for what to do. Play? That was another something that she hadn't done for a long time. For so many hard years, she had fought and worried and stressed over the pack to keep them going and together. There had been no time for play or much relaxation. Hydras didn't respond for a moment, even when the youngster attacked her paw. She looked up, gazing quietly into the darkness of a far corner before looking back to Essence, this time with a smile on her muzzle once more. "Yes, we can play, Essence. What game do you want to play?"

Bullet shifted slightly, eyes trained on his sister, "Are you seeing what I'm seeing? A smile!" He whispered with a partial grin.

Skeil was just as startled as Bullet was by Hydras's sudden change in attitude. It was only a question of time to see if this would last, though. "Hydras... do you want me to scout for food? "

Esscence*Redemption*Vengeance

As Esscence was talking to Hydras, Redemption said "Ess, she'll keep the alphess busy. The other two, the silver and black one over there. They look absorbed in one another as do your parents." He licked his lips, as his white ears swivled to and fro. He kept his eyes on the adults but he was asserting himself as alpha now, letting them know that he was in charge.

Scream glared at this new comer, his name Redemption. How dare he take over his friends and family. He was about to give him a piece of his mind when he saw Voodoo's warning look. Biting his tongue, he scowled at the ground not arguing or mentioning a word.

Voodoo smiled at Redemption and Vengeance. Although they were younger, the other pups were bigger then the peace loving female.

Vengeance was silent through out all this, her eyes roaming to the others. Patch, Lasher, Voodoo, Hatch. All of them were taken in as she continued to watch them. Her eyes wandered to Scream and narrowed as her lip curled into a threatening snarl that was silent. She wouldn't tolerate any nonsense, one way that she was like both her mothers.

Esscence giggled and stood on her hind legs and lightly batted at Hydras's muzzle. "Can we play hide and seek tag? It combines my two favorite games!" She said the last part with enthusiasm as she batted at Hydras's muzzle again before falling backwards onto her rump. With a snort of indignation she shook her head and grinned sheepishly.

Silverfur.Fanta.Patch

Fanta understood the worry about another pack attacking the Aegis Den. "Silverfur, you should help scout for food."

Silverfur nodded.

Patch grinned at Hatch. "Lights, hm...I know we need to get some big crash to sound outside then we can slip away."

Unknown

She felt Demon stiffen and lifted her crown smiling tilted her tiara back and licked his cheek saying not to worry. Lowering her tiara back down she wanted to stay with the pups Torment and Torture could come back she wasn't done with those two. But she was so relaxed. Never in her life would she had thought of fallen for a hunter not one like Demon but here he was and she enjoyed his company so much. She remember the zombie walk and she felt herself chuckle slightly. She could tell he was uneasy it wasn't hard to see she was patient and kind she could wait.

Fanta

Fanta licked each pup before closing her blue orbs and drifting away into a sleep.

Patch pondered a way to distract the adults.

Traitor

I look around uncertainly for a moment before I move towards Unknown and Demon. Giving a tenative smile to them both, I lay down and in a soft voice I say "I'm sorry....About Torture and Torment. Ever since they killed the white queens daughter, they have been on a killing spree. When you got into the way, you greatly angered them. They won't stop until one of you dies. I'd much rather it be one of them" I was of course, speaking of Aaka when I said the White Queen, but her name failed me. As did her daughters. My smile was still tenative, as I was uncertain on where my standing with this pack was. With my two brothers causing hell, it was hard to make friends as everyone lumped me together with them. I wasn't like them. The black cross on my chest was bore to them with some pride, and some disdain as well. I continue to watch the two of them, then say to the male "I'm sorry, where are my manners? My name is Traitor. I....I'm a friend of sorts." I say. I don't want to make him mad, I just want another friend. A real friend. And where else to start then with Unknown? She was kind, this I knew. She was fair, otherwise she would have just let Aaka's pups die. Yes, very kind.

Demon

Demon relaxed as she had padded off and Unknown let him know it was okay. He merely pinned his ears back in continuing Protection when she returned, listening to her words. His grey eyes watched hers. "Mine is Demon Thrasher...Demon. I'm pretty new to being a part of a fa-pack." He caught himself to his word family, he was still being watched, still trialed for sure security. "Sorry about being this way to you; as I said I'm new and want to help protect the pack." He knew about her being the sister of the murderous twins, Traitor and Torture. But He set tha aside, not everyone was alike... Justhoping he wasn't wrong to trust her, he wanted to belive Unknown, wishing her well. He would like to befriend more, but it was just his nature to trust none.

Ninaki

Seeing that Hydras was preoccupied with her new 'daugher', he took the initiative as beta to organize a food hunt. "Silverfur, Skeil, Bullet, and I can go on a hunt for food. You are welcome to join if you wish." Ninaki added, looking to Demon. He was still a bit unsure about this male, and decided against telling him to come along. Might as well let him settle in and stay near the one he knew the best in the pack; Unknown. "We'll stay within a few minutes run of the town, in case anything bad should happen." Holding his tail high enough to assert himself as his rightful beta position, the hybrid padded out of the den, heading for the Dump.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Mesa, & Equiss

A grin brought her deadly fangs into glistening view when Essence batted her muzzle. It was a fearsome face Hydras made, but it was only in play. "If that it what you want, I will be more than happy to play. I'll give you a minute to hide..." The alphess closed her eyes and waited, counting slowly in her head.

Bullet and Skeil sprang up, like soldiers responding to their sargent. Skeil followed promptly after Ninaki, while the hybrid hung back a minute to speak to his mate, "We won't be gone for long, I promise. With Hydras here, you'll be safe enough." He gave a faint grin before nuzzling Sasha. He hated to leave her alone again, but it was either that or have less food to feed the melee of pups that now lived at the den. With a light sigh, he headed out after Ninaki and Skeil.

Equiss looked curiously at the two new pups who joined the group, and was a bit skeptical of Redemption. Still, she didn't object to his alpha stature, and instead focused on the plan. "Hey, look! The adults are leaving, and aunt Hydras isn't looking! Lets go!" She said, her voice an excited, sqeaky whisper.

Mesa had been perched on a railing above the pups, watching them with one eye open and the other closed. But as the night drew in, sleep slowly drew her other eye closed, until she no longer saw the pups.

Redemption*Esscence*Vengeance

Esscence giggled and took off, heading towards Sasha. She dived behind the female as she nuzzled her mate back, hiding beneath the blankets. The doberman blinked and eyed the hiding pup for a moment before grinning and laying her head down to rest, not seeing the pups as they began their escape.

"Go!" Hissed Redemption as he began to slink towards the hole. All the adults were busy. Demon Thrasher and Unknown were speaking with Traitor, Hydras was playing with his sister, and Sasha was sleeping while the other adults went out to hunt. Perfect!

Vengeance slunk after her brother, moving in front of him since she moved at a faster pace then he, and slipped out into the alleys.

Hatch

His tail slowed its wagging for a moment as two newcomers joined the group, but then his excitement returned when they were clear to make a break for it. The youngster boldly darted in front of Redemption and kept at a quick run as he headed Down Town.

Hydras, Mesa, & Equiss

"27... 28.... 29... 30!" Hydras barked out, golden orbs flashing open as she took a quick look around. Then her muzzle lowered to the ground as she stalked after the pup's trail. When she figured out that Esscence was hiding under the blankets, Hydras took a detour, acting as though she was totally stumped for a moment. When it seemed she was nearly ready to give up the hunt, she cricled back around, her muzzle hovering over the blanket. "I think I smell a pup..."

Equiss scampered off with her siblings and new friends. She threw a quick glance back at her mother and the others, but was happy to see that none of them seemed to notice the daring little escape.

Esscence

She giggled and said under the blankets "Nu uh!" Before curling up into a tiny ball beside Sasha. The doberman tried her hardest not to move, but couldn't suppress the soft laughter that escaped her. It was the first time in a long while that the female had laughed, and a good sign as well. She was healing.

Hydras

Hydras nuzzled her head under the blankets, trying to reach the pup. It was quite the undignified sight for such an alphess as Hydras, but like Sasha, it was a sign of mending. When her nose bumped against Esscence, the hybrid gave her a big nudge, then reached a paw in and tried to roll the pup out. Slowly, her tail began to wave.

Esscence

She giggled as she was rolled out from under the blanket. "Now you gotta catch me!" For that was indeed the game. The little pup took off at a run, heading towards the middle of the room. Skidding to a halt, she whirled and lay down barking. "Can't catch me!" She said to the alphess.

Unknown

her soft silver eyes lifted to Traitor as she came back. She grinned welcomingly to the female. Unknown would trust her she might be their sister but she also had stood beside Azul pnce when he stood against them after they had slain the pup. Then a thought popped into her mind
If I am a target because I wouldn't let them kill the other pup what about Azul he protected the others after the killing of one so they could get away. Could he and his family be in danger also?
Her silver eyes reflect worry Azul and Moon Spirit were friends and just had pups of their own. She looked to Demon and sighed were had her lift become such a tangle.

Fanta.Patch

Patch raced after his friends.

Fanta looked around at Hydras, ammused with what she found.

Hydras

Having yet to notice the lack of pups in the den, Hydras was occupide with Essescene's game. Whirling around, she began to stalk slowly towards the pup, body hunched down slightly. She looked down-right sinister with her fangs bared in a wide grin, but her waving tail told all that it was just in play. "You'd better start running..." Hydras warned, before pouncing forward suddenly. She made it look as though she was going to catch the pup by the scruff, but her movements were slower than what she was truely capable of; she was letting the youngster escape.

Fanta

Fanta gave a chuckle and watched Hydras, her blue eyes glittered at the alpha.

The pups woke up and ran after Essence. " RUN! Auntie Hydras is it!" Arget yipped, running after Feather and Suenga.

Esscence

She giggled and went to run when suddenly three others were chasing her. She blinked then giggled and ran as fast as she could and did her signature slid, spinning around quickly and sliding across the pavement floor on her stomach and stopping to stare at her mom. Giggling she barked, trying to entice the other adults to play now.

Sasha stood and said softly Aww, but this isn't fair for poor poor Hyrdas to have to chas all of you. So, Auntie Sasha is it as well. She bowed down and barked once, a loud bark that sent Esscence into a fit of giggles once more. The mother picked up a trot, and lightly tried to tap Feather with a large paw, intentionally trying to miss to get the youngster to run.

Hydras & Mesa

The alphess clattered across the ground, in hot pursuit of Esscence as the pup run and slid about on the floor. Like Sasha was doing though, Hydras went intentionally so the pup wouldn't get caught. "You certainly are quick, Ess." She laughed, feeling a wild joy that she hadn't felt since she was a youngster herself.

The laugh, such a rare sound from the alpha, woke up Mesa. She gave Hydras a long, curious look before setting her sights for the rest of the pups. Panic set in quite quickly when none of the older pups were to be seen, "Uh... I don't mean to alarm anyone, but..." The falcon began, looking about frantically, "...where are the rest of the pups?"

All at once, Hydras had her regular, serious facade back. Staning up quickly, her eyes darted about the dim interior of the den, but could see none of the older pups, as Mesa had pointed out. "We must find them at once! Sasha, check the second floor. Fanta, check the second. Mesa, you scout the roof, and I'll check around here." She paused, looking to all the little pups, "The rest of you, follow after me." Hydras began to thoroughly search the bottom level of the Den. It would only be a matter of time before the pack realized the pups were not here.

Vengeance * Redemption

Redemption came rushing in first, slamming through the entrance door fast and hard. The black and white male was breathing hard as he looked behind him, and he came trotting inside. He had gotten rid of the scent easily enough, knocking over a dumpster and rolling. He saw the others searching and he ran towards Esscence and pounced on her. You guys didn't find us! The others are hiding! A cover story, to hide where they had truly been.

Vengeance heard her brothers words, and she sat just below the entrance door, laying there as if hiding.

Fanta

The pups yipped as Sasha joined, then scittered to halts as Hydras freaked. " Where's patch?" Feather asked.

Fanta stood up, looking around and smelling the area. "Oh Patch!"

Hydras & Mesa

She looked sternly down at Redemption, but it was tough being angry at pups that were suppose to be yours. Laxing her tone a bit, she gave a little nod, "Just stay inside the Den, ok? You scared me for a moment." The alpha gave a slight grin, for she had never admitted to being 'scared' of anything before. Hearing Fanta and Feather, Hydras looked back and narrowed her eyes in concern before turning back to Redemption, "Where is Patch hiding?"

Fanta

Fanta shook her head. "They left, I can smell their scent outside...it's not stale from when we came back either."
