Ninaki & Black Feather

The lithe-bodied hybrid returned to the Den, and this time, he was not alone. The nape of a very well known enemy was clutched firmly between his bloodied jaws as he dragged the captive into the factory, through the heavy front doors. It was Fresca, and long-time enemy of the Lurkers.

Ninaki dragged her to the far corner of the building and forced her to the ground. Releasing the mixbreed, he stood poised to grab her again if she dared to try and bolt, "Don't try anything, or you'll make things much worse for yourself." The hybrid sat down, ready to post gaurd over her until the rest of the pack arrived.

Immortal

The female limped down the stairs, having recieved a few harsh bites from the fight that had occured. She had betrayed her sister, now she had to pay. She saw Ninaki and knowing she was a captive to them and not a pack member, she continued towards him. She had a limp in her front leg from where one of the Lurkers had broken it and never getting help had made the bone grow at an odd way giving Immortal a limp in her gait. With a sigh of relief when she reached Ninaki, she sat and stared at Fresca with curious bright yellow eyes. "Hiya!" She said to them both.

Ankh, Desmon, & Equiss

Ankh already knew what had happened at the Aegis den, for news and scent spread fast. He felt partially to blame, for he had taken an awfully long time to return to his pups. Padded quietly into the den, his eyes narrowed at the sight of Fresca, but he didn't know a who lot about her; not as much as his father did. "I see you'll be getting some revenge. Tell Hydras that I'm taking the pups back with me now." Without waiting for his father's reply, Ankh headed upstairs.

He stopped abruptly when he spotted Fanta and Silverfur guarding the enterance to the room the pups were in, but he carried the scent of the Lurkers on him, so it would be clear that he was no enemy. "I'm here to take my pups back." Ankh explained, peering to the back of the room, "Hatch, Desmon, Honthale! Come on, mom's waiting."

Desmon crawled from the vent, happy to hear his father's voice again. He paused to look back at the other pups, "See you later. I'll be sure to come back soon." Then he headed for Ankh, wincing and moving slow because of his wound. But he was deteremined.

Crawling past Fanta and Silverfur, Desmon nuzzled his father, then looked to the other two adults, "Thanks for protecting us. Keep the others safe."

Ankh nuzzled his son, then picked him up by the scruff. With a nod to Fanta and Silverfur, he headed back down the stairs. His mate, Snowy Owl, would get Hatch and Honthale.

Equiss watched as her cousin left, then turned to Hatch, "Won't you stay with us?"

Snowy Owl, Hatch, & Honthale

The white hybrid was walking up the stairs just as her mate was headed down. Like him, she carried the pups' scent, so there was no mistaking that she was indeed their mother, and not some enemy. "Hatch, Honthale, it's time to leave now." Snowy Owl called, standing just outside of the door.

Honthale scrambled out, scooting under the legs of Silverfur and Fanta. "Mom! You wouldn't believe what happened..." He began, but was cut off when Owl shook her head and smiled, "Not now; yo ucan tell me later. Hatch, come on."

Hatch peeked his head out from the vent, "I wanna stay... please." The pup sat down, and then, in a deliberate movement, laid down and rested his head on his paws, as if saying 'you'll have to come in here and drag me out'.

Owl frowned slightly, making a move closer to the door. But, she knew she would never be able to get Hatch out of the vent if he was so keen on staying in there. "For a while, then I'll be back." She also didn't feel like arguing. With Honthale in tote, the mother headed after Ankh.

Fresca

Fresca slouched down on the ground, head and ears drooped in a dismal fashion while her hollow eyes looked downward. She had nothing to say, and so she did not speak to Ninaki's words. Watching dismally as the parade of pups and parents passed her, the mixbreed turned her saddened eyes to Immortal, and was struck by the friendly greeting. Who in the world was this, living in the Lurker's den, being nice to her? Oh, she must be mistaken... the hello must only be for Ninaki. Fresca cast her eyes up towards a window, her mind lost in thought... my god, this is how it ends for me? After so much...

Immortal

Her eyes fell upon Fresca and she stared at her waiting for an acknowledgement. "Hey....Are you ok? You don't look so good." She lay down next to Fresca and smiled at Ninaki thinking that this was a new member that was injured. "
Do you want me to get you something? Water? A blanket? Anything?" Even though she would never be able to run at the distance and speed she once had, she could still travel far and carry many an item on her back and maw.

Silverfur & Fanta

The two dogs looked at the newcomers, remaining in position off to the side of the den.

Patch laid near his mother, tired after his meal from his mother.

Unknown

Unkown entered her homelands again her tiara low with saddness. Were was Demon Thrasher her dear friend. She had taken a liken to the male unlike others she had met. She flopped down a few feet away from Fresca and the others.

Ninaki

He narrowed his eyes at Immortal, growling ominously, "She's a prisoner. No luxuries for her... she won't need them soon anyway." Yes, Fresca was slated for death. But the beta was waiting for Hydras's return, so that she could have the honors of slaying this long-time enemy of theirs.

Standing guard near to the wounded mixbreed, Ninaki turned his eyes to Unknown. He could see a sadness that was familiar to him, and he wished he could say something cheerful. But alas, he was past such things now. With a muted sigh, Ninaki looked to Immortal warily.

Demon Thrasher

Only but a week earlier was a fight between A cougar and the masculine that padded along the alleys. Crown lowered slightly, his shoulder were healing from a slash that ripped it right open, let alone other scars. With half his ear bitten off, the black shadow of a wolf let his claws drag along, as his eyes darted side to side. He was beginning to recognize the farmiliarity of this place...yes...It was the Aegis Den. The dome rose higher, wary eyes glancing at each creature's face that he passed, as if the only way htey knew existed was if he stared into their eyes. Suddenly, he caught the miserable face of Unknown. At first, it registered as just another Wolf. But he realized then it was his friend. He snuck up in front of her.
"Waiting for something?" He said quietly, almost emotionless. It was defied by a hint of smile in his voice.

Unknown

she caught the glance from the other male one she didn't know and nodded to him in silence gaze drifting to Fresca. the growling wolfess most have been doing something wrong to get death. wiith a sigh she laid her head down in her paws whe suddenly to ripped back up. Her silver eyes dancing her silver chassis rose as she turned about facing Demon Thrasher. Clearing her voice adn trying to sound uncaring though it was hard for her to do so.
More like someone. How are you Demon?

Demon Thrasher

A grin played on the face of the brute. He could see her try to face his demotion. It was hard for her; as it had been for him. He let his haunches rest and let his grin stay.
"I'm well. Or as good as I can get out of this. I got in a fight with a cougar. I'll be stiff for a while. I'll end up walking like an Idiot!" He laughed, and stood, stiffening his legs and shoulders and walked just stifflegged and zombie-like. He then plopped down again and laughed some more.

Hydras, Skeil, Equiss, Pirqua, & Mesa

Hydras sauntered into the den now, posture high and eyes brilliantly alert. There was no show of emotions when she spotted Fresca, and only a nod was given to Ninaki as she slipped upstairs to the third floor. "Fanta, Silver- you've done a good job." Hydras said, dipping her head briefly, "Fanta, I need you to stay in this room with the pups for just a while longer; Silver, you come with me." It was time to execute a long-time enemy of the Lurkers, and she figured the pups had seen too much horror in the past weeks to watch Fresca be slain. Besides, they knew nothing of her, so her death wouldn't be important to them anyways.

Traveling back downstairs, the large alphess moved to the center of the room. For a moment, her eyes lingered on Demon and Unknown; if the wolf was trusted in the Den by one of her pack members, he must be alright. Speaking loudly to catch everyone's attention, Hydras began, "We have caught a long-time foe today- Fresca, alpha of the Alley pack." Hydras looked fleetingly to the humble mix-breed, "She will be executed tonight. And afterwards, we will go on a hunt to celebrate, and start a new chapter for ourselves."

Skeil had returned by this time, leading Fallen. She knew the wolfess wouldn't be strong enough to go on such a hunt, but Hydras would take care of that.

Equiss crept out of the vent and padded slowly towards Patch. "I think it's safe to come out now..." She looked around uncertainly, hearing the muffled voices of pack members below on the first level. "You wanna play a game?"

Pirqua and her daugher took off from the Den, each heading a separate way to alert their allies of the ceremony. It would be a communal hunt tonight.

KEHATIN & UNKNOWN SPIRIT

To Dream In Black And White.

From an adjacent fire escape, a female peregrine falcon watched the Lurkers and their captive with heated interest. Her keen eyesight gave her quite the advantage, but so did her placement directly across from the Lurker den. Unknown Spirit, aging friend of Danger, craned her neck around, eavesdropping in on the canines below - though she didn't need to hear them to know Fresca was in mortal danger. The two-tone falcon looked down to her companion, Kehatin, who was on his way home to his humans in the down town area. Unknown had chosen to accompany Kehatin just for the sake of doing something, and to be sure he returned home safe and sound, as he was still a part of their widely dispersed pack - in spite of his human friendly attitude. She emitted a soft and quiet call and Kehatin looked up immediately. It wasn't a truly peculiar call; in fact, they had chosen that call as a sort of code word for danger or something along those lines.

With a wary glance, the aerial predator swooped down and landed quietly on top of a garbage bin, her talons making only the slightest of noises.

Fresca is in there, and in serious trouble. They are arranging for her execution, tonight! Run and tell your family. Go now!

Unknown kept it short and sweet, as they could not waste a moment. They had just recently fought another pack intent on dominating the valley, and get this, by stealing pups, and she was sure it would take an hour at the most for them to regroup.

With a nod of his regal cranium, Kehatin wheeled around and departed silently from the alley in a few seconds flat. While he gathered his family, Unknown returned to her fire escape perch and kept a sharp and steady eye on Fresca. The falcon was waiting for the alpha female to realize she was being watched, hence the intensity of her stare, and let Fresca know help would soon be on the way.

Sasha*Sequioa*Voodoo*Scream

Sasha made her way back to the den, her movements slow. She had slipped out of the Lady's house in the dead of night and made her way slowly back here. Her haunted eyes fell upon Fresca but she made no movements to join the others. Instead she brushed past Hydras and limped to the very farthest corner of the den. The death of Panic and Lasher had left a deep hole in her heart, one that no one could fix except time. Time heals everything.

Sequioa heard the others and with a soft growl she stood. She checked on Sasha first, to find the doberman had her back to the world and was staring painfully at the wall. With a soft sigh the delta female came forward. Seeing Fresca, her eyes lit up. Oh.....OH! Her tail wagged to and frow and a blood lust came to her eyes. Now this was what she was here for. Coming forward, she stood next to Ninaki and grinned down at Fresca but it wasn't to kind of a grin. This could get very ugly indeed.

Voodoo crawled out after her sister, sliding under the protective Scream. "Come on." She whispered. The uncertain male stepped forth and out of the little tunnel. The two stood uncertainly waiting for their sister to continue on with her little game.

Immortal's eyes turned down cast. Another sentenced for death. Timidly she said "Can....Can I go on the hunt?" She had aided the lurkers in their battle, even recieving a few bites in the line of duty. She deserved something right?

Unknown

Unknown coudn't contain herself and with Demon's zoombie like preformance she began to luagh like ahd hadn't in sometime. wihtout realizing it she moved and flopped down closer to him then she would normally do her silver eyes dancing like the stars. BUt the moment was cut short with ther appearence of her Alpha Hybras. Her tiara jerk to the important call her eyes landing upon the one called Fresca she heard of the female and knew that White Noise had been running with her as a spy. Where was the brute that she considered her brother now. she sighed and spoke to Demon
More blood to be spilled. I like laughing and joking but in life there are so rare moments of it that the moments that are here feel so special.

White Noise

The onyx brute entered the laid having heard of Fresca's capture. She had vanished from his lands after another one of her pack mates had been killed. The only one he regretted was Cherry the fun loving female didn't know what trouble she was getting in when she ran with Fresca. He came in before Fresca yellow gaze fleetingly to Hybras nodding in respect. Then to Fresca she would realize that what Legosa had said about him being a spy were true now.

Lifting his skull he looked for Sequioa. He hadn't seen her since she raced off that day. Seeing her well did him good. he hid his feelings for this female not letting his heart get into his affairs again.

Sequioa

Her eyes came up to meet with White Noise's own. She grinned darkly at him and her banner waved, the closest thing to a greeting he could get from her. At least right now anyways. She took a step forward, closer to Fresca. "Hydras, Moon Spirit is pregnant. She won't be joining us for the night." Her eyes were still on Fresca and she said softly "You never knew, love. I killed your pack members, one by one. As did White Noise. We all killed them. How foolish can you be?" Although the hybrid was injured, no pain would stop her from joining the hunt. Not today.

Fanta, Silverfur & Patch

Fanta nodded and licked Patch's fur softly. Looking at the scene below, what had she missed while being up on guard. Shrugging she looked at Voodoo and the others. Panic and Lasher were gone, and nothing could make her stop grieving inside. But the time could, in a matter of days possibly.

Patch raced over and batted Desmon softly on the ear. " Let's play!" He yipped.

Silverfur dipped his head and trotted, looking at Fresca with a hard stare. His blood boiled, and he had no clue why. Instint. He was loyal to The Shadow Lurkers, maybe the scent had made him feel sickened. " Worthless hybrid." He grumbled.

Fresca

She remained as poise as she could, though the pain from bullet wounds throbbed horribly. As did her heart, realizing that her end was near at hand. Fresca hid the hurt in her soft brown eyes when she spotted White Noise entered the den, and again when she heard Sequoia's message. It was true, she blamed herself for leading them into a death trap; how could she be so careless? How could she underestimate the low-down cruelness of fellow canines?

"If you're looking for me to break down, you'll be sadly disappointed. You took my loved ones, yes, but I will be with them soon. With your help, of course." A peculiar choice of words she had, but the last thing she wanted was to give the Lurkers satisfaction. "And don't forget..." Her eyes flashed to Ninaki as her voice turned steely, "It was my loved ones who took your sister. And your mate..." She looked to Skeil with a grin, dishing out what verbal revenge she could while she still had the chance. It was their turn to squirm now.

Fresca knew that these words would only bring her more trouble, but she didn't care anymore. It seemed she was in a hopeless situation anyway. And yet... she couldn't shake the feeling that someone were watching her. The mix breed looked up, expecting to see one of the many falcons that the Lurkers had- and she spotted one. But this one... this was not Pirqua she was seeing. This was an ally! Maybe all was not lost...?

Silverfur

"Why don't we let you live, make your a prisoner." Silverfur's heart lightened, this fem had been threw the sane experience. Silverfur then lowered his tail, he would not make the choices. Silverfur would never be disloyal to the only pack that excepted him.

Silverfur's blood cooled. He shook his head, who did he loved, Fanta or Fresca? Fresca had been threw the same thing, Fanta was his far friend. Shaking his head he glared at Fresca.

No! This is your back, do not trust the prisoner! His mind screamed.

" Or will it be a painful, slow death?" Silverfur tried to taunt.

He looked at Skiel, and the others with a pleading look. HELP! his eyes screamed. Blinking his blood boiled once more, he would be loyal. Suddenly he noticed the fem look up, falcons, yes, but a new scent wiffed in his nose.

" You know that bird?" He snapped, his ears pinned angrily against his head. He had not been fond of the falcons, but could last with them. " Are you planning a plot? Mmm mongrel? You want us to kill you right now and end it? Or maybe you can attempt your escape?" His voice was so low, barely anyone could hear, probably not at all.

Hydras, Skeil, & Equiss

A thunderous snarl exploded from Hydras as she pounced towards Fresca, attempting to seize the mongrel's jaws and give them a good thrashing. "Those words were a mistake, you fool! You will regret everyone of them." Her snarl was viscious as she took a step back, glancing to Silverfur, "A prisoner might work for a while... a leg or two will have to be broken to ensure she does not escape." Hydras replied thoughtfully before attention snapped upwards at Silverfur's comment on the bird. "Black Feather, investigate that bird!" She commanded, not quite recognizing the falcon from that distance. She knew it was not Pirqua or Mesa though.

Skeil looked to Immortal uncertainly, then to Hydras. "What of her? Can she be trusted?" The pit questioned.

Hydras looked long and hard at Immortal. It was true that no one had come to rescue her, so it was unlikely int he alphess's mind that the wolf had any allies on the outside anymore. And, she had plenty of time to escape, and yet she remained in the den with them. "You can be her bodyguard, Skeil. She will join us on the hunt. But she has a lot of proof to show us before she earns any trust or respect."

Equiss bounded over to a nearby window and peered out of it, straining on her tiptoes to see. "Hey, look how far up we are!" Ah yes, so easily distracted.

Silverfur

Silverfur felt his fur bristle as Black Feather flew up. " Worthless mongrel. I would've killed a enemy their and then." A snarl came from Silverfur's throat. But that wouldbe him. End their pain, instead of letting them suffer. A wolven way. Suffering.

Only a wolf would regret to suffer, and then they would feel what the others had felt. Silverfur had gone threw this a hundred times. His pack. His mate. His pups. His family. All gone the drain.

Hydras, Skeil, & Equiss

Hydras turned to Fresca, eyes cold. After a long moment, she nodded her head, "She dies tonight then. With the fading sun." It all came back to the past, and how she had been fooled by enemies within; this time, no chances would be taken with an tried and true enemy to the Lurkers. Fresca was going to die.

The alphess came forward, snapping her jaws for Fresca's scruff before she began to drag her towards the rooftop.

Skeil followed after, growling ominously behind Fresca.

Fresca

There was no point in resisting now, and so she allowed her muzzle to be bitten and scruff taken hold of. A fiercely confident and prideful look shone in her chocolatey eyes as she was lead upstairs, covering three flights until reaching the rooftop. Now those chocolatey eyes shown with hues of blood-red and fire-orange as the fading sun cast its reflection on them.

"Do I get any last requests?" Fresca asked quietly, doing her best to stand calm and still amid the imminence of her own fate. She was sure that help would not arrive in time for her.

Silverfur

A Silverfur glanced at Fresca, he did not trust this femine a bit! Silverfur gave a low growl. His eyes were glazed. " It would only be fair." He said, his eyes at the door where Fanta guarded incase the fae decided to break free.

Atticus

Having caught word from Pirqua about the execution and hunt, Atticus was more than eager to come and be part of the whole ordeal. Besides, he had nothing better to do anyways.

Carrying himself high, the young adult entered the den, looking causally about before heading upstairs. He wasn't familiar with many of the Lurkers, but they would certainly recognize his scent of that of the Silver Glades. One of Aaka and Legosa's sons.

Reaching the roof, the wolfdog padded towards Fresca, a smirk lighting up his face. "So this is the one to be sacrificed?"

Hydras, Skeil, & Equiss

Hydras raised an eye at Atticus, her tail stiffening slightly in simple warning. He was to watch how he held himself around her. Then she turned to Fresca, "Final words? Make them quick." The alphess stared hard at the mongrel as she waited for her to speak, and for the rest of the pack to assemble.

Skeil watched without speaking, though the fur along her back was raised. In a whisper, she spoke to Frostfur, "Her name's Fresca; she's a long-time enemy of ours. Her pack use to live here, in fact. Until we ran them out.."

Equiss looked out the window again, then shuffled back to Patch and Hatch, "I can't wait till we go hunting! I heard aunt Hydras say something about it!" She didn't know exactly what was going on outside of the room, but she figured it was something very serious. In anycase, she didn't want to know what was going on.

Unknown | White Noise

The hunter made his way to Unknown and her friend
Nice to see you well. Whos is your new friend?
But as the pack began to move he didn't wait for an answer he padded after them to the rooftop placeing himself beside Hybras but far enough away so no one would think they had anything for each other he wasn't an alpha here and didn't act like one.

Unknown rose padded a few steps and waited on Demon.

Fresca

She looked to White Noise, her eyes unmoving for a brief moment, their emotions withheld. Then she looked blankly to some distant street lamps that were beginning to flicker on. "My final words are these- Don't forget me, or who I was." Fresca furrowed her brows slightly before casting a hasty look to the horizon. She was determined to be brave, since she could not possibly get out of this situation on her own, being as wounded as she was. Yet, despite her almost placid demeanor, the fear of death and pain haunted her like an the old companion that it was, and it shown in her eyes as the darkness crept over the sky.

Hatch

The youngster glanced at his cousin, but his attention was drawn to the ceiling, through which he could hear the scuffle of paws moving across the ceiling. "Hey.... I'll be right back...." Hatch said, his voice almost hushed as he tried to pick up on the bits of conversation that came his way. Slipping out the door, he scrambled up the nearest stairwell and onto the rooftop. For a moment, he stood and looked from Hydras to Fresca. Taking a few steps forward, Hatch sat down a little ways off from the group, his head tilted just faintly to the side. "She's going to die, isn't she?" He asked, his tone as simple as if he were asking about the weather.

Demon

Demon watched, feeling a bad feeling reach out to him. He fought it back.
This is why you're not a pack wolf, and this isn't your pack. Stay out of it! His conscience screamed. Sighing, he stood and ignored it all and followed Unknown, not watching hte talking or the fight to follow.

Silverfur

Silverfur gazed at Fresca his golden eyes dancing like flames. Say good-bye He looked at Hydras, waiting for her signal to the pack to kill Fresca. His tail wagged in anxiety, he could already smell the blood in his lungs.

Fanta shivered, death had always been something she hated. " Hatch, Patch, Equiss, Voodoo. Stay Back up here" Fanta then thought again, maybe watching slaughter was good for them, get them used to the ways of a pack.

Unknown

Unknown came beside Demon a shiver running down her spin. SHe pulled closer to Demon then she normally would have after a chill raced through her silver bodice. Her matching silver eyes watch what was going on then dopped down
I can't watch this Demon it reminds me too much of where I came from.

Hydras, Skeil, & Equiss

Hydras moved in, a small grin flashed on her muzzle, "We will see about that." Her eyes flashed to Silverfur, then to the other assembled pack members. There was one clear message in her dark orbs- kill. Like a lioness going for the kill, Hydras pounced towards Fresca, craving jaws seeking the throat.

Skeil bolted forward eagerly, trying to get a hold on Fresca's muzzle so that she could not bite any of the pack members.

Equiss scooted closer to Patch and Fanta as she watched Hatch run out of the room.

Silverfur

Silverfur lunged at Fresca's back, to restrain the fae from moving without risk of cracking or breaking a part of her spine. " Good by scrap" His jaws outstreetched ready to sink into the fae's flesh and tast the sticky, warm blood in his jaws.

Fanta turned her head as she saw the dogs lurch. Her eyes were shut like a steel door.

Patch quivered and licked Equiss lovingly. " She will be dead in moments." He whispered.

Ninaki

Ninaki didn't hesitate in the joing the assault. With plenty of past rage to spur him on, the hybrid drove for Fresca's stomach. The thoughts of his dying sister flooded his mind, and he wanted Fresca to pay for that dearly. It was her pack that took his dear Snow Dancer away from him.

Atticus

In the distance he could hear his mother calling for him and the pack. But, it didn't sound terribly urgent, so he ignored it for now. With the cold indifference of his father, Attitcus plunged for Fresca, eager teeth ready to sink into her hind leg and break through bone.

Fresca

Those chocolaty brown eyes, once so alive and thrilling, flashed with cold fear. For a frantic moment of time, her mind reeled with ideas of trying to escape this imminent death, but it would be futile. There was absolutely no where for her to go, aside from jumping off the roof- which would kill her anyway, at three stories high. And if not, she would be in sore shape to escape the Lurkers.

Time seemed to slow down right before the first set of jaws invaded her flesh, piercing deep down into her being. She could not contain a sharp yelp to the pain. Against the burning bullet wounds she already carried, Fresca lurched forward, twisting about in one last struggle for life. Valiant maybe, but it was in vain. Her own jaws were rendered useless as Skeil clamped them shut. Multiple points of agony flared up over her body where the pack's teeth bored into her. The fatal blow came from Hydras, who's canines sunk deep into the throat.

Fresca gave a gurgled cry, her voice constricted by the alpha's tight hold. Blood slipped heavily from her wounds, leaving her only a few precious seconds of life before her energy slipped away. The light in her dying orbs waned drastically until it was gone for good. The leader of the Alley pack was dead.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, & Equiss

Hydras held onto her foe for a long moment before thrashing her body violently. Raising her head up and bearing the dead weight of Fresca's body, the alpha dragged her to the edge of the roof and slung her off. Then she turned, licking the blood from her muzzle before she spoke, "We have one less enemy tonight. Fresca and the Alley pack are no more. And so tonight, we will celebrate!" Hydras lifted her three-toned head and started up a howl. It was a song of unity for the Lurkers, as well as a Hunting song.

Skeil wagged her tail happily, looking with bright eyes at her fellow pack members. She joined in with the song, though howling wasn't an easy thing for her to accomplish.

Bullet made his way to the roof now, moving slow as his head still felt heavy and off-balance from the previous attack. But he too joined in with the howl, eager to celebrate with the pack and to go on a hunt.

Equiss thumped her tail against the ground and offered Patch a lick on his muzzle. "I'm glad you're here with us." She said quietly, her voice happy. Then the howl rose up from the rooftop. It sounded joyful, and being part wolf as she was, Equiss couldn't ignore the calling. With an excited look to Fanta and Patch, she scrambled out of the room and headed for the roof, "Come on! Lets go sing!" When she reached the roof, she didn't notice the blood because of the darkness. She could smell it easily enough, but it was nothing new to her. Ignoring it, she gave voice to her own high-pitched puppy howl.

Voodoo*Sasha*Scream*Sequioa

Sasha had lain below but when the howl went up, the female raised her tiara and let out a sorrowful howl of her on. The doberman stood and began to limp her way up he stair case until she stood on the roof with the others. She saw the blood in the fading light and she knew. Fresca was dead. A feeling that could be known as satisfaction crossed through her. The alley pack had caused much pain for them.

Scream yipped and charged after his sister, not willing to let her beat him. They reached the top at the same time and the brother panted happily. Well, at least he hadn't been beaten. The wolf in him was boiling just beneath the surface and the pup araised his dial and let out a puppy howl of his own.

Sequioa had held back from attacking Fresca. She had killed Cherry, this would be the others satisfaction. Her eyes raised to White Noises and a sinister grin crossed her pretty maw. She raised her head in a howl of harmony and vengeance. She to heard Aaka's howl, but did not know as to what its source could be. As Atticus thought, it couldn't be important if the alphess didn't come here right?

Voodoo had been about to join the others when suddenly something caught her attention. It was a mouse trap. Her eyes lit up and she raced over to the set trap and pounced on it when suddenly it snapped on her paw. With a yelp of pain and terror at the unknown source she leaped backwards but to no avail. She continued to yelp and began heading up the stairs staying off her paw. "Mama! Mama! It bit me! It won't let go!" Sasha's eyes drifted to her daghter and a hint of amusement was caught in her eyes if for just a moment. Her daughters piercing yelps had scared her but now seeing the source, Sasha could only laugh. She stood and came towards her daughter, she murmered "Hold still." Voodoo did as she was asked and Sasha grabbed hold of the pesky 'creature' and gave it a sharp pull. Just like that it came off and Voodoo sat there whimpering. "Teach you to get into things you shouldn't. Sasha said softly with a smile. It was the first real emotion she had shown since coming back. It was a start to the healing process.

Demon

Demon felt Unknown draw close. He felt as if he could not watch, but he coulnd't tear his eyes away. He gave his comfort into a simple move, lowering his head over that of Unknown's so she wouldn't have to see. But his eyes stared at the murder of Fresca, transfixed with mixed emotions as he stared at the lifeless corpse of pooling blood. "It's over." Came the nearly silent voice of Demon. Trying to reassure his friend, he let her move if she wanted.

Fanta/Patch/Silverfur

Silverfur let go of Fresca's dead body, looking at it with triumph. Raising his head he joined in with the howls, his heart pounding with excitement. They had won!

Fanta charged down looking at the blood pool on the ground and sighed, then knowing what she should do. Like any wolf she sang.

Patch looked dreamingly at Equiss as he followed. Someone he loved, at such a young age yet he wasn't a pup.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, & Equiss

With the deed done, the alphess raised her head up, speaking loudly to hush the howling of the pack, "Now we celebrate! Everyone comes tonight." This time, she wasn't going to risk leaving anyone behind. For the sake of the weaker pack members, she would keep the pace slow enough for them to keep up. Her head jerked to the side at the sound of the trap going off, but when she saw that all was well, Hydras decided against saying anything to her neice. It seemed she had learned a good lesson when it came to humans and their strange contraptions. Striding past the gathered canines, Hydras headed down the stairs as she made her way to where Fanta was stationed, "You've done an excellent job with the pups. Now we are taking them hunting with us." And then she continued on, retreating down the last few flights until she was at the first floor. "Immortal, you're coming with us. One wrong move, and you'll end up like Fresca. Skeil, keep an eye on her." Finished handing out orders, she proceeded to lead her pack to the Eskers.

Bullet hurried to his daughter, but Sasha had already taken care of her. "Good thing you're not a mouse. They always seem to get stuck in those things." The father said with a laugh. He didn't know they were specifically for catching mice, because it seemed proposterous to eliminate such fast-multiplying rodents with such a device. But, that was beyond him. Humans were crazy as far as he was concerned. "Tonight will be fun. Your first hunt!" With a smile to her, he brushed up against Sasha before following his sister out of the Den.

Skeil nodded obediently to her alpha's command. The pit bull took a stance near Immortal, giving her a raised eye. "Lets make this an enjoyable outting, alright?"

Equiss grinned and nudged her brother, "I'm so excited! I can't wait!" Then she followed her father out, tail waving merrily behind her.

Patch/Fanta/Silverfur

Patch raced beside Equiss, his heart beating wildly. "I can't wait! This will be fun. Finally, hunting!" Patch's black and white fur bristled in the wind.

Fanta decided to follow beside Silverfur, licking his muzzle before they left. " Should we tell them?" Fanta's voice crackled slightly in dismay.

"Yes. We shall" Silverfur picked up his pace to Hydras, deciding he could no longer hid it. " Hydras, I'm proud to annouce that me and Fanta have become mates. We will being having pups sooner or later."

Unknown

She only leaned into her friend as he covered her eyes. When it was over her silver orbs landed upon the blood stain and sighed. She whispered barely noticable just like The Pit.
Hearing Hybras announce the hunt she realized how hungry she was.
Demon wanna go........oh hold on
She pivoted to look upon Hybras
May my friend Demon join us please, Hybras

Demon

Demon nodded lightly, to her question and her comment. He looked to the aplhess, bowing lightly.
"I'm sorry to be a nuisance. If it is ok, I was wondering if I may be able to join The pack? I would give the pack my all." With that he stood, shook his fur, and kept his eyes on the alphess.

Hydras

Hydras turned back to Unknown and Demon, silent for just a moment. With a fiercsome new alliance in the valley, she knew that the pack needed all the members it could handle. "You are welcome to join the pack, Demon." The alpha finally replied, "Just remember to respect your fellow packmates, and know that loyalty is our greatest strength." With a nod to the duo, she picked up her pace as she headed for the Eskers.

Fallen

She had been healing and looked to the pack as the headed out. Crimson orbs flashing a bit as she began to head with them but winced as a healing wound tore open just outside of the den. She griminced and stopped, crippling and curling underself as she gave a sharp whine. Eyes traveling back up to the pack, she htook in a deep breath then padded slowly, painfully behind them. Determined to keep up, though she probably wouldn't be able to participate in the chasing of the hunt. Her wounds held long enough to take her to the Eskers with the others.
