The male hybrid followed the directions Skeil had given him to find Hydras. He soon arrived at the building the Pit Bull had described and so the Labradane seated himself outside as the Gamma had instructed. He expected to be found by one of the Falcons and so Lyckos relaxed and waited silently. Whether Sequioa had followed him or not, he did not know.

Hydras & Pirqua

As predicted, one of the ever-watchful sentries spotted Lyckos' approach. Silently, Pirqua glided in through one of the broken out windows and alerted Hydras.

The alphess, with her head and tail held high and her tri-colored ruff expanded, exited the Den through the heavy steel doors. The falcon had briefed her on the stranger and his mission with Sequioa. Unlike Skeil, Hydras didn't give the impression of 'friendliness' so much as she did authority and power. Her kindess was always there, but much harder to bring about, especially after the deaths of so many of her packmates; and the fact that the two litters born to the pack were not her own. That indeed was a sore subject for her.

"I'm Hydras, alpha of the Shadow Lurkers. I hear you wish to join us." Hydras spoke after stopping a few feet from Lyckos, "And I also hear that you've already met another pack member of ours, and gone on a mission of sorts? Tell me, do you have any friends or family here in the Valley?" From what Pirqua had told her, Hydras didn't have any reason to believe Lyckos' intentions were bad; but she had to be sure.

No sooner had the hybrid settled down, Hydras appeared through steel doors and came towards him. He could tell from just looking at her she was powerful. He lifted himself from his coiled haunches, pushing himself up to stand. Dipping his head in respect to the alphess, the Labradane half-smiled. He listened to Hydras, takin in what information she knew. Did she know his name? Maybe, but she had yet to use it. Just to avoid confusion, Lyckos thought it best to say it anyway. I do indeed wish to join your pack Hydras. As a reply to your question, Yes I do have a relative in the Valley, Most of the rest of my relations are either dead or far away. My brother is currently here, but I have not seen him for many months. As far as I know he actually might not be here at all. His name is Kalion and I am Lyckos. His eyes met hers for a brief second, but there was no look of challenge there, just a warmth that was rarely shown. His eyes soon left her own and his gaze moved to the floor. I have indeed met one of your pack already, Sequioa, and the mission was unsuccessful. His deep voice echoed through the almost silent alley-ways. It was powerful and deep with a hidden warmth. Something about it made it a lot less over-powering than it should have been. Comapared to Skeil, Hydras was much closer to being the size of Lyckos. Infact she wasn't far off. He wasnt entirely sure, but there was something about her that made her different from the rest...

Hydras

Her tall ears picked up keenly on his tone while her dark eyes studdied not only his build but his language as well. He would certainly be a great addition to the pack, for his size was not one to be reckoned with. His personality, in her view, was perfect as well; not in the least bit snide, vain, arrogant, or fearful. Perfectly smooth and well collected. At the present, she remained still and showed little of what she was truely thinking, but that would be quick to change as her trust in Lyckos grew.

"If you are willing to fight when called upon, and do your best to protect our pack, our allies, and our home, you are welcome to join. Know that loyalty is one of our greatest principles, and we are well known throughout the Valley as a fighting force. Your rank in the pack is dependant on you." Hydras paused in her speech, going over the basics as she usually did. But this time, something about Lyckos stuck with her... that look, maybe. Or the tone of his voice... she tried to shake the thought away, but it lingered in the back of her mind. The thought of sudden liking for this particular male, for somehow, he seemed to carry the qualities of her dear Demon, although she had seen little of the wolf in the past two years, and absolutely no trace of him had been detected in several long months.

"It's quite interesting to hear about this mission you went on, Lyckos. It's a shame it didn't work, but Pirqua has told me that you did well regardless." It was unusual for the alphess to engage in conversations lately, unless they dealt directly with battle-plans or war-related topics. This time however, she wanted to get to know this new canine better.

L y c k o s

His large tall ears were pricked forwards as the Alphess told him of the rules. To Lyckos trust and loyalty were indeed key factors in life. Where fighting to protect comes in, Lyckos was an expert, defending his brother and previous home many times. Your rank in the pack in dependant on you. Well, Lyckos was not one for diving in at the deep end, but being rather high in rank would be nice. How to work his way up, he pondered over for a brief few seconds before Hydras started up again. He shook the thoughts from his mind and made eye contact, once again in a non-threatening way. A simple friendly guesture to show he was listening and paying attention.
Yes, well we did try. Infact it wasn't me, It was mostly Sequioa, I was just back up.
The hybrid grinned. Ah, So the nice, happy side of Lyckos showed. Like everyone, Lyckos was not always happy, He could sometimes be very moody, but so could everyone, no one was perfect.
I'm not entirely sure why we went on that particular mission, Sequioa seemed to know, I however was clueless. It was something about the alpha if I've heard correctly...
He trailed off, not entirely sure if that was what they had gone for. He shrugged it off, This would probably be of no interest to Hydras. He waited a few moments, trying to think of something to say. His eye contact slipped back to the floor as he racked his brains to think of something interesting to say. Finally he started up again, looking back into Hydras' eyes.
You mentioned allies before, Who might they be? After all I must know who I'm fighting for.
He smiled and waited patiently and silently for the Alphess to reply.

Unknown

Unknown was like her old self even better. there was a light in her eyes that hadn't been there since she was a pup. She wasn't a hybrid but a full blooded wolf but her home and her friends where here. emerging through the same way Hybras had come in she smiled happily and was bout to speak when she heard the tones of the male a new member and how serious they were. She dipped her skull and when to where there was water she would wait to speak.

Sequioa*Aaka

"One of them would be me." Her voice was like frigid wind brushing over the nicely warm and freezing them in place. A white wolf came through the doors, her bright eyes watching Lyckos darkly. Her frame was gaunt and thin, hard to believe she was an alphess. But slowly her frame was becoming fleshy again. A soft smile crossed her maw as she came forth and gave Hydras a soft nuzzle of friendship. Softly she whispered in her friend and allies ear "Not bad, Chica. Not bad at all."

Sequioa saw Aaka as she passed through the door and bristled slightly. "Hydras we need to talk later." Was all she said as she passed Lyckos and the rest.

Hydras & Pirqua

"I have to admit, I'm a bit in the dark about the mission myself. I've been rather busy lately, but yes, I do believe you are correct on the alpha buisness." Hydras replied, for Pirqua had given her what little information she'd collected from the others. "And allies; that's a good topic to start on..." She paused as Aaka and Sequioa entered the Den. Though rather rare for her, Hydras returned a brief nuzzle to Aaka. This wolf was not only her highest ally, but also one of her most trusted friends as well, aside from Skeil. A flicker of a grin shown on her regal muzzle as she responded to the praise, "Why, thank you." Attention then faded to Unknown, who she gave a friendly nod to.

The alphess looked to Sequioa and gave a nod to acknowledge her statement. She had an idea of what the hybrid might want to speak about. Now she looked again to Lyckos, "Aaka is our greatest ally," at this, she motioned to the white she-wolf, "and alpha of the Silver Glades pack. Who ever carries her pack scent is also an ally. As for the others, I'll have to introduce you to them soon. Two are my nephews; Aidan who lives at the Ranch, and Ankh who has a pack at the Stores. The Midnight Hunters are another high-ranking group of allies."

There was so much to tell that the alphess could be talking for hours. Rather than doing that, she decided on another idea that usually worked to integrate new members into the Lurker society. A pack hunt. It would help show the new member's strenth, and also see how well the cooperated and worked with the others. "I'll explain more soon, but for now, we will go on a hunt. That'll get you introduced to the rest of the pack." Hydras explained before lifting her muzzle up and giving a low, rumbling howl. Anything too loud might attracked unwanted two-legger attention.

As she waited for the others to arrive, she looked to Lyckos again. She was still marveling over his size and personality; and though she tried not to reveal these thoughts, there was a hinting of interest in her eyes.

Sequioa*Sasha*Aaka

Sequioa growled moodily as she was called back to Hydras. She glared angrily at Aaka and then turned as she heard a yip. Scream came hurtling towards her a bundle of fluff. He was black and tan like his mother as he charged in his game of tag with the others. Suddenly he slammed into Lyckos's leg and fell over with an indignant yip. He glared at Lyckos for a moment before another bundle of fluff appeared and pounced on him. The runt of the litter, Voodoo. She was mainly black with tan socks. A growl followed after the two and an exasperated voice said "Would you two stay in the group?" Their mother, Sasha, another member of the Lurkers pack moved towards them. With an apologetic look to Lyckos she picked up Voodoo and nudged her over towards the rest of the pups. Both hers and Ankhs. She had become the new pupsitter. "Hydras....I hope you dont mind but I must stay behind for this hunt...." In other words she would need someone to bring food back for her. She could not yet leave her pups for they still needed milk but they were ready to start eating meat. She had a soft appealing look about her that most the shadow lurkers lacked. Sasha did not fit well into the fighting group but she had found a home here. She was not a spy. She was not a good liar. She could fight but she needed a good reason. She didn't mind humans much. They were just another creature. No Sasha did not fit in. But Bullet loved her and that was all the doberman needed to stay.

Aaka smiled warmly at Sasha and the two pups before she turned to Hydras. "Lost was found. Atticus is with humans but a rescue mission is in progress to save him. He is being rescued as we speak. Sang is gone but we will find her before anything goes wrong. But now I will let you hunt unless you want help." Aaka needed to hunt as well but she was tired. She did not have so much strength yet as she had awhile ago but she was working on it.

Sequioa heard Aaka's words and knew that half of her talk with Hydras was not needed. The other half however.....That was the really important stuff.

L y c k o s

As he had finished speaking, Two females emerged from different places. Lyckos watched as one shuffled off towards a water supply and the other breezed over and spoke. "One of them would be me" That was helpful, but in some cases not for she did not give her name. Some sort of commen sense told him not to look this alphess in the eye, even if there was no challenge. She seemed the type to rip you in half for even stepping where she told you not to. He stayed silent and dipped his head towards her in respect. Then he saw Sequioa. He smiled at her and gave a friendly nod. He counted her as a friend, whether she felt the same way, that was a different story. Hydras soon told him of who this allie was. Aaka. She then continued on with a list of allies and Lyckos listed them to memory as best he could, his eyes looking back into hers to show he was listening. He gave a small smile to Aaka. Hello Aaka, I am Lyckos. He then looked back to Hydras. A hunt? Sounds good to me. He grinned and was about to sit down when Sequioa came back again growling. He was not really paying attention to what was around him apart from Sequioa, Hydras and Aaka and so was taken by surprise when a ball of fluff charged into the back of his leg. He turned his head sharply tryiing to spot the thing that had shocked him when he heard a yip. Looking even further down he saw a pup on the ground glaring up at him. Lyckos smiled softly, Are you alright? No sooner had he spoken another pup had lept onto his sibling. A doberman soon came over giving him an apologetic look. He smiled. He didnt mind. Lyckos listened to the rest of the chat between Aaka and Hydras silently and this time he did manage to sit down. He sighed as he waited for the rest of the pack to turn up.

Satan, Vitani, Suki and Kuro

Satan appeared from one of the smaller alleyways after taking a small nap. He cast a gaze at the large hybrid, Who was he? Shrugging it off he seated himself near Hydras, waiting for the others to turn up.

Vitani soon turned up after the wolf smiling at everyone including Lyckos how she didn't even know. She was in a relatively good mood today.

Suki and Kuro came around a few minutes later and sat down near Sasha and the pups.

Sasha

She smiled at Lyckos and watched as the hostility from Sequioa towards Aaka increased. She was a bit unerved by her friend but she made no comment as Sequioa continued her dark glare. Suddenly there was a yelp as Scream tackled little Voodoo and slammed her into the concrete floor. Forgetting everyone else around her she stood and moved swiftly towards her fallen child as Scream backed away. "I...I didn't mean to mom honest!" His look was fearful as only a childs could be of a mothers wrath. Sasha nudged her tiny daughter and was relieved when she saw Voodoo breathe regularly. Her small daughter stood and shook a dazed look in her eye. "Ow.....Does that mean I'm it?" The doberman stared at the black fluff ball before muttering "You children are going to be the death of me." And with that said the two took off like rockets once more.

Ninaki

The beta came sauntering in, head held even with his shoulders while his banner held loosely in its rightful position. His mustard-gold eyes swept over the pack before settling on Lyckos. "You must be the new one. I'm Ninaki." Short and simple, without the common 'hello' or welcome to the pack' speil. He wasn't trying to come across rude or anything; he just didn't say much of late.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Desmon, Lasher & Equiss

Skeil and Bullet entered shortly, each one parting with a stranger. Rascal and Haiku; neither of which seemed to be of any threat to the Pack. While the pit bull stood near Hydras, Bullet picked his way across the floor to stand with his mate.

Once most of the group had assembled, Hydras spoke again, "Everyone, this is Lyckos, our newest member. You can all introduce yourself on the way to the hunting grounds." The alphess looked to Sasha next, then to the horde of little ones running around. If Fanta was hunting with the group, then there'd be one more pup to add to the group; Patch. Not to mention the three that her nephew left here. "Yes, you need to stay. The falcons can stay as well and help keep an eye on them." Attention turned now to Aaka, "You are welcome to join in the hunt if you'd like. We're going after moose this time." The most dangerous of the deer; but the pack needed large game now to sustain them. The hybrid turned and sprung through the door, head held low to the ground in a hunting manner. Her direction was for the Bog.

Bullet was a little crestfallen that his sister hadn't picked him to stay behind with Sasha and the pups. There was no point arguing though. He nuzzled Sasha, then looked to the pups, "Be good you all, and I'll bring you back a toy." He wasn't sure if the energetic little creatures had even heard him, but oh well. He only hoped they wouldn't be too much trouble for his mate to handle. With a final look, he headed after Hydras.

Skeil followed as well.

Desmon continued to run about, diving over the cans and bottles that were in his path, and tripping over every other one. "Can't catch me!" He chorused as he continued to run about. That is, until he saw how many canines were here. The pup skidded to a halt and stared at the pack that was begining to file out of the Den.

Lasher and Equiss stuck together as they sprung around in the Den, running randomly. As they did their best to stay out of Hatch's way, Equiss tripped over a can, sending it and herself crashing into the ground. A bit dazed but otherwise unharmed, the pup picked herself up just as Lasher ran back to check on her. Both pups were surprised to find themselves slipping on something wet; and something that had a sickening chemical smell about it. Looking at their paws, the duo was shocked to see their toes covered in blue! In fact, this blue stuff was spreading over the ground under them, for Equiss had knocked over an old can of paint who's lid wasn't fitted tightly.

Awed by the color, both pups forgot about the game of tag and began to roll around in the paint until most of their bodies were covered in it. Giggling madly, they began to run around again, leaving sky-blue puppy prints to mark their tracks.

L y c k o s

The hybrid made no effort to signal himself when Hydras spoke of him, He figured they would know who he was anyway. He followed Hydras, Bullet and Skeil out the Aegis den and to the Bog.

Satan, Vitani, Suki and Kuro

The four trotted after their alphess, ready for this hunt.

Fanta & Patch

Fanta trotted along, happy that Hydras invited her to join.

Patch wgged his tail hpappily and looked at the other pups. " LEt's play!" he yipped.

Hatch & Honthale

Hatch was running around trying to catch up to someone to tag them. A loud yelp caused him to halt, wide eyes looking around to see who had made the noise. Scream and Voodoo. After he saw that the sisters were alright, he decided to take advantage of the situation, "Voodoo is it! RUN!!" Grinning playfully, he dashed around wide pillar and discovered a little hole made by a few broken-out bricks. With quite a bit of effort, he squeezed in, and found the center of the pillar partially empty. Well, empty enough for him to fit snuggly into.

Honthale was disappointed to have his little adventure put to an end, but he was quickly caught up in the fun of tag once more. Running around like a mad thing and randomly nipping at pups as he went by, the hybrid came across Equiss and Lasher. "AAHHHH!!!!" He howled out in terror at the strange sight and bolted the opposite direction.

Ninaki

Ninaki followed after the group. But not before giving Equiss and Lasher a long, worried look. Poor Sasha; she sure had her paws full with this bunch.

Patch

Patch stambled and began to make his way half-way up the stairs ready to jump onto a few boxes under the stairs is voodoo got near. " Ha! Get me now!" Patch teased puppish. He was only as old as Desmon.

Sasha*Voodoo*Panic*Scream

Sasha stared at her two blue pups and then moaned softly. This definetly was not good. The paint was hopefully non toxic and she said to the pups "Dont lick that stuff off of you. You will get sick." And with that she picked up Lasher and carried her to a trough full of water that filled whenever it rain. There was not a whole lot in there but enough for Sasha to wash her pup. As most of the paint came off she took her child out of the water and put her on the floor. "Go play"

Voodoo stared stunned for but a moment then yipped and leaped racing after the older Patch racing as fast as she could to catch the larger pup. Being the runt of the litter was hard for her but she did not let it get her down. She skidded in oil that had been spilt and she lost her traction momentarily. Her stomach was slicked with paint but she charged on after Patch determined to catch him.

Torture*Torment

I had been watching this place for some time now, trailing after Unknown. The only wolf that had ever ever got away from me. I had watched as all the others left. Besides Unknown and the other dog. And pups. Oh wouldnt this be a massacre to remember. Pack comes home to find two members and a mass of dead pups on their door step. I grin sinisterly and move silently into the den, keeping to the shadows so that no one. Absolutely no one, sees me come in. The pups are busy playing, Sasha is bathing one of her blue pups and Unknown is no where to be found. I hide behind a large crate waiting for one of the pups to wander my way in their mad racing. Or maybe....Maybe I can even take Sasha by surprise. My silver eyes flash as my black and silver hued body is well hidden in the shadows. I can already hear the screams of the pups and I shudder with pure ecstasy. I can taste the metallic tint of blood in my maw even as I stand here, my body tense and ready to spring.

Torment. A name that fits me so well. Our sister Traitor. Another name that fits well. I to slip into the factory house but on opposite sides from my brother, close to where the paint had been spilled. I stare across to the boxes where Torture is hidden. I know hes there. I can almost feel him inside of me. We are one. Blood brothers.

Desmon, Lasher, & Equiss

Lasher fussed as she was picked up, "Ah, Mom! It's fun being blue!" But there was no point in aruing, so she 'suffered' through the bath as all the glorious paint was washed off her. As soon as she was set down again, she stopped pouting. After all, who had time to pout when there were so many friends to play with? With an extactic yip, she ran after Honthale, ready to tease her cousin for being afraid.

Equiss was determined to keep her blue pelt. Running so fast she almost tripped over her own paws, the pup made for the pillar that Hatch was hiding in.

Desmon's tail wagged furiously as he saw the 'magical' liquid that could change you different colors. Trying to avoid getting Sasha's attention, the pup slunk towards the paint and plopped down in it, smearing it all over his right side. As his tail continued to wag, it sprayed a fine splatter of blue mist everywhere. Rolling over, he got his left side covered in the gloppy mess before decided he was blue enough. Laughing, he stood and shook himself, spraying the pain around even more. As he looked up to see if anyone saw his antics, Desmon's eyes came to rest on an unfamiliar face. Torment. So far, everyone he met was either pleasant, or at least not threatening. Giving another yip, he took a few steps closer to the unknown wolf, head cocked to the side and fur dripping with blue paint. The chemical stink of it made his eyes water and his nose ache, but Des found it well worth the trouble.

Hatch & Honthale

Hatch was startled to see a blue pup try to squeeze into his hiding spot. But unlike his larger brother, this pup wasn't frightened. "Hey, what happened to you?" He whispered, scootching over to give space for Equiss.

Honthale stood uncertainly next to a tin box as he watched Sasha wash the pain off of Lasher. Seeing that she was indeed no monster, the big pup got his confidence back and ran towards the puddle of paint. There would probably be a lot of blue pups to clean before the day was over. Instead of rolling around in the mess, Hon splashed in it with his paws, getting speckels of blue over his coat. Then he saw his brother standing in front of a stranger, "Hey, Des; who's that?" Honthale asked, leaving the paint and stepped up beside his smaller brother. He narrowed his eyes a touch and took a step back, sensing bad intentions from this wolf, "Des, get back..." he snarled.

Torture*Torment

I didnt know how they saw my brother but I knew they had. Suddenly I shout "NOW!" And leap my massive frame for Sasha's who -hopefully- had her back turned trying to deal with the paint splattered pups. My jaws were opened wide ready to tear into the flesh of the black and tan doberman, blood cravings driving me ever further.

As my brother shouts I leap forth towards the nearest pup. Desmon. My fangs snap hopefully on his small frame, hoping that I could feel the crunch of his bones and the mettalic taste of his blood oozing into my mouth. Hopefully I moved fast enough before he scrambled back but even if he did, my large frame would catch him before he got to far.

Desmon, Lasher, & Equiss

Desmon frowned at his brother's comment and took a step forward, looking hopefully to Torment. "Nah, he looks friendly." Tail a-wag, the blue-hued pup made an attempt to speak with the adult. Before he rightly knew what was going on, Torment had leapt at him, fangs bared. Although his thoughts struggled to cope with this unwarned aggression, instinct forced the pup's body to turn and attempt to flee. It was too little too late, for the teeth found his side and crunched down through the ribs, puncturing one of the lungs. Giving gurgled yelps, Desmon turned his tiny teeth to the nose of his attacker, trying to make him let go.

Equiss heard the yelps and her eyes went wide. "Should we see what's going on...?" She had never heard such pain-filled sounds, and it shocked her to the very pit of her stomach.

Lasher wheeled around at the sound of the yelp and was horrified at the sight of her little cousin being struck down. At the same movement, she caught sight of motion to the opposite side and saw a large wolf going for her mother. "Mom! Oh, help! Help!" She howled out, sprinting towards Torture. There wasn't much of anything the pup could do, but she'd defend her mother. To fearful to snarl or growl, Lasher simply ran up behind the much larger canine and tried to sink her little fangs into the thin tissue of his ankle, where her teeth might be able to pierce through to at least cause some distracting pain.

Rascal

Rascal
What a beautiful day...

The hybrid hadn't been far off; he had indeed heard the sounds. Deciding to come and see what was up, since he obviously couldn't get any sleep with this racket, he started off at a quick lope. He was in no hurry to get there, but the sounds of pain and agony made his limbs push off the ground, faster and harder than before. Soon he jumped into the building, and his eyes landed on the unknown wolf that was sneaking up on the fae. He didn't know anyone here, but he could tell that the fae was in the pack that resided here. Even though he had only ever met one of them, along with another and some sopposed stranger, he was going to heed the words of the pit bull: stay on the packs good side. He didn't know whether that also meant to help defend them, but in his mind, a feeling was screaming to help. After all, that was a good thing, right? Of course.
Snarling, he looked to Torture and charged him, dial lowered yet his fangs were showing brightly from his gaping jaws. He immedietly aimed to grab onto a hindleg, and then jerk the wolf backward, away from the fae...

Hatch & Honthale

Honthale had begun to back up more and more, up until the wolf attacked his brother. "DES!" His eyes filled with anger and shock as he plunged forward, moving his small body for the much larger enemy. Of his three brothers, he was the largest, but he was still no comparison to an adult. This didn't stop him from trying though, as he sprung up on his little limbs, trying to embed his fangs into one of Torment's eyes.

Hatch recognized his brother's cry in a heartbeat. "Th-that's my brother!" He felt a chilly coldness creep through his body, almost numbing his senses.

Unknown

Her thorns laced toher skull an anger in her eyes as she stepped in she growled angerily as she bark sharply to the two attackers.
Leave them be you want me come get me
Her tiara lowered her stance bacame defensive yet aggresive at the same time. He had gotten away from her not the other way about. She glared at him deep growls emitted as she stepped up to him
Come on you scared to take on a real challenge or you like attackin new mothers and defensive pups. You won't kill another one of them. Cone on

Sasha

She heard the now and turned a statled gaze towards it when the fangs of the male sank deep into her flesh near her spine, but not grasping the deadly hold. With his weight slamming into her her, Sasha fell to the ground and was rolled about, her black and tan hide being splattered with blue paint and crimson blood. She yelped with pain and turned her face trying to grasp at the male but unable to curve her slender body to reach any of his tender flesh.

Another form suddenly screamed "Now!" And almost immediatly the den was surrounded by wolves and dogs alike. Three different packs suddenly emerged. Eternal stood at the front, her black hide shadowed her eyes alight with hidden demons. She saw Rascal go for Torture and she leaped for the male fury driving her forth. Her plans were not to be ruined this time. They would take out the Shadow Lurkers one by one.

Panic had stayed in the shadows watching silently. Suddenly she sprung forth trying to hit Eternal. The black fae, however, had other plans. Eternal snapped at Panic catching the pups small frame and a sickening crunch could be heard. Panic didn't even have time to scream before the life was torn from her frame and she hung limply in Eternals jaws. Once more Eternal launched herself forth heading for Rascal.

Torture*Torment

I grin as my teeth find a mark in the chicas flesh and I bite down as hard as I can as she slams into the ground. I try my hardest to tear into her and make her bleed the most she has ever before. I see another coming towards me and grin sinisterly as one pup is killed and Eternal launches herself for the male. Excellent. A splatter of paint hits my side giving me an almost ghost like quality now.

I snarl in pleasure as I drip Desmon in my maw. I clench my teeth ever harder into the pup and shake him hard hopefully jarring him enough so that he doesnt get any hold on my face. I can see Unknown coming for me and I growl and back away carrying the pup with me. I turn and hit the pups head on the crate that I had been hiding behind. It was an accident but it worked. Desmon would be knocked unconscious and I could slip through the crates and away from Unknown, striking at random pups and leaving in my wake a massacre.

Desmon, Lasher, Equiss, Pirqua, Mesa, & Dally

Desmon contined to yelp, even as blood splattered from his nose and mouth. Around his side and Torment's mouth bubbled a stew of purple, where the red blood and air seeped up from the damaged lung with every breath, and mixed with the paint. "Momma! Dad-" BAM, everything went dark as he head collided with the crate.

Equiss hardly dared to breath as she huddled next to Hatch in the tiny hiding space. They were more or less safe, the two of them, but at what cost?

Lasher tries again for Tortured's leg, doing anything she can to cause the big brute some damage. "Leave Mom alone!"

Three raven-sized shadows come screaming into the Den, darting through the windows like angry wraiths. Ordered to watch over the den, the falcons were ready to put up a battle themselves. Pirqua, the most experienced of the bunch, went straight for Torture. She aimed, with her adept precision, to land on his head and set her talons into the thin flesh there. Her beak went straight for the left eye...

Dally, being smaller than his mother and sister, was a touch more agile. Seeing Eternal kill one of the pups, he gave a furious shriek and dove for her, dangerous, razor-sharp claws outstretched. Like Pirqua, he aimed for the eyes, but not only with his beak, but his talons too.

Missing one leg, Mesa had to be more careful about her assault. "One's down, one's down!" She cried out, seeing Panic fall to Eternal. Cursing, she wheeled away from the female as her brother took the target. Instead, she headed for Torment, who carried Desmon. By all appearances, it looked as though that pup were dead as well. Folding her wings partially, she shot for the wolf, outstretching her single leg to rake across his face. Unlike the others, she didn't plan to land, but to strike and take to the air before he might have a chance to tag her. In anycase, he couldn't bite her unless he dropped the pup.

Hatch & Honthale

Honthale was horrified by the blood, but still not daunted in his task, "Leave him alone!" The pup cried, chasing after Torment without regards for his own safety. "I SAID LEAVE HIM ALONE!" The black hybrid jumped up again, trying to snag his puppy teeth into the gullet of his brother's attacker. The soft fur along his back spiked up just a little as he growled as viciously as he possibly could.

Hatch crumpled to the ground, pasting his ears back and whimpering mournfully. He couldn't see what was going on, but all the yelping and screaming was enough to tell him it wasn't anything good.

Rascal

The rather small but entirely lithe hybrid gave the larger wolf one last swipe with his open jaws before catching the sight of Eternal heading straight for him. With a loud snarl, he positioned his body quickly so that it was facing her, and then hopped backward. At the same time, his jaws shot forward, locking jaws with her instead. Growling loudly and having saliva drooling from the corners of his mouth, his muscles bulged with power as he went to throw his dial downward with a hard thrust, not knowing what it would do, but everything was worth a try at this point. Then, he backed away and released with a slight jerk, before shooting at her, fangs aimed for her shoulder. At this moment, he felt his temper rising, and his body was tense. Being part coyote only helped aid him; size wasn't a great factor in some cases, but it wasn't a downfall for him, either.

Midnight Hunters and Blazen's pack

The pack of 5 had come back to the Alleys to speak to Hydras about maybe going on a hunt. However it soon seemed the pack had gone as they found the alleys deserted, or so they thought. They soon enteredt the Aegis den, just to make sure they weren't resting, to find a scene of utter chaos and devistation. It seemed someone had taken advantage of the Lurkers absence and tryed to take out Sasha and the pups.

Domnio would not let this happen to his allies. With a fierce snarl the wolf charged into the den and after hollering a bellowing howl to his brother, tore across the den and lept for Eternal. His target was the back of her neck as he attempted to snap it with his powerful wolvern jaws.

Soon after her brother did Xina appear and charged after her brother. She went for Torture's exposed back of the neck. Vandras joined her, aiming to either grab a back leg and snap it or the dogs hindquaters. Either way he aimed to paralyze this pooch.

Sxythe and Chaos went for Torment. Sxythe, being the older more expericanced fighter, went for the side of torments throat aiming to try and cut off his air supply but suffoacting him. Chaos joined in, going for a hind leg.

The howl drew another four wolves to the scene. Blazen led the way. He was the brother of Domnio and so was almost as big as his monster of a brother. Blazen also went for Eternal. Kill the leader and the plan goes pear-shaped. Calling Mercury to come with him, the duo sliced through the air towards Eternal growling savagely. Blazen snapped for her hindquaters and spine, trying to paralyze the dog. Mercury dipped down and tryed to seize her underbelly.

Spitfire and Arrow joined in the Midnight hunters assault. Spitfire went for Torture, anywhere he could grab. Arrow did the same but to Torment.

Eternal*Death Pack*Immortal*Sasha

Sasha felt the fangs of the male pierce even deeper into her body and she let loose a scream of pain and rage as she dug her claws at him hopefully to distract him. As the falcons and others arrived she was filled with joy but suddenly her eyes showed absolute horror. From behind boxes more and more wolves appeared. The Death Pack. They were seeking revenge for the Lurkers had killed there brother, Murderer.

Diseased howled and leaped for Chaos to get him back and away from the male who held the pup. His jaws were opened wide as he leaped for they they had been planning this for some time now. Sasha deserved to die. She deserved whatever was coming to her.

Insanity saw the falcons and leaped for the one going for Torture's eyes. If he could help the male to kill Sasha he would remain in everyones good graces. No harm no foul.

Psychopath appeared as if from a mist as she took in the damage. She leaped for Blazen and screamed at him "Fighting one on one!" Meaning it was unfair to attack when one was already fighting. She could do nothing about the others attacking Eternal but she took out the biggest one. Her own size was nothing to scoff at as she snarled and snapped at anything she could reach from the male.

Cutter appeared from his recent hunt and sighed softly. He wasnt in the mood for this. The massive grey male leaped for Xina, for she was busy soaring through the air trying to catch a bite out of Torture she would continue her straight path and the massive male would slam into her ensuing there own fight. Oh the life he led.

Depression, the black male, moved into the alleys his dark eyes watching for but a second. Suddenly he lurched forward and went after Sxythe, his eyes intent on capturing the males face and pinching closed his air way so that he could no t breathe suxxessfully.

Black Feather

Rather than attacking, Black Feather set out to round up the pups. He swooped down, dodging past fighting bodies until he came to Voodoo. "Follow me! Hurry!" He shrilled, landing beside the pup for a brief moment before flying towards some nearby stairs. "This way, hurry!" His sharp eyes scanned the mass of bodies, seeing Scream next. He would go to him, and then Patch, Lasher, and Honthale.

Aaka

The white mother charged through the door of the den where her eyes caught the devastation. She saw the pup on the floor, blood oozing out from beneath it. Sashas pup. "NO!!" SHe screamed. She leaped for Eternal just as another slammed into her. Sekhmet. The female had been burning for this chance for two years now. Her fangs sought for Aakas throat and caught hold of the faes shoulder, her fangs sinking deep into Aakas flesh until they struck bone. She heard the white alphess scream in pain and rage just as the mothers own fangs sunk into the side of her neck but the grip was nothing. Mainly fur that Aaka was pulling out of her.

Unknown

the female couldn't get who she wanted seein Aaka get attack by Sekhmet she knew Aaka was a great fighter and to get through this they would need her she flung her chassis away from the male she wanted to rip to sherds and leapt a surprize attack for Sekhmet. Aaka had her neck from one side not a good hold Unknown opened her jaws and she flew back to what the male had told her head low aggrisive she grin her dentals aimming for the neck down low enough to get a death grip and it was a total surprise only aaka could see her jumpin in no way she could fail.

Patch

Patch looked at all the wolves confusingly. Patch trotted over to Desmon. " What's going on." He asked Desmon

Torture*Torment

I snarl in rage as one of Sasha's paws hits me and I feel a pups teeth sink into my back leg. Suddenly I lunge forward and flip over onto my back hopefully bringing the pup with me and crushing her and pulling Sasha as well. I lurch back up as fast as possible and again I rip and tear into the mother. Do I feel guilty about this? Not really. Will I ever? No. As the bird swoops down I snarl and release my hold on Sasha and strike out at the falcon hopefully crushing it in my jaws. I hate falcons. Always getting in the way and ruining things for me.

I drop Desmon. He won't live much longer with that punctured lung. I see Patch and I want to go after him. I grin as the others charge for me and like a bullet I am off again. I leap for Patch trying to catch him in my jaws and kill him as well. He won't see or hear me coming. There is to much Chaos all about for that. I snap my jaws closed hopefully around the pups head to crush his skull and instantly kill him.

Patch & Fanta

Patch saw the dog and leaped elsewhere to find a better place to hid.

Fanta barked and went for the wolf that was near her son. " Keep your blood teeth to your own stupid head!" Fanta said and attempted to tackel him.

Unknown

As unknown was attackin the whence with Aaka she saw that evil brute lunge in for patch she twisted her body sorry aaka that pup needs more help than you. Since the brute was in mid attack she threw herself collidin with him and knockin him away from the pup as she scrambled back to her feel quickly as the brute woudn't get the upper hand

|If you came for me fight me just you and your brother somewhere remote. If not I will kill you were you stand|

Lasher & Pirqua

Where her offspring might have fallen to the wolf's jaws, Pirqua veered away from the gnashing teeth by a feather's breath, saving herself from sure death. As his jaws snapped shut on empty air instead of her small body, she struck her talons out to try and rake him across the nose and muzzle before spiraling high into the air. Flying as high as she could within the building, Pirqua went into a stoop and dropped like a rock from the ceiling, heading once more for the wolf. Talons outstretched, she tried to make contact with his back.

Lasher bit hard, snarling like a demon when she got a hold of Tortured's leg. But she was young and inexperienced, and didn't let go in time when he went to roll. Her small body was crushed when he rolled. She gave a sqeaky yelp as pain exploded in her back. When he rolled off, she tried to stand up, but found that her hind legs would not work. Panicked, she began to scrabble at the ground with her front legs, trying desperately to drag herself to safety.

Honthale

Honthale bounded after Traiter, snarling up a storm as he defiantly pursued his brother's attacker. "You aren't getting away that easily!" He cried out, trying to jump at the wolf and sink his teeth into his stomach.

Sasha

She feels a screaming pain tear through her. Her eyes fall upon Panic and she screams now in her fury. Pain shoots through her as she turns to bite Torture. He manages to slip through her grasp and she stands painfully, blood beginning to pool all around her in a warm puddle. She stands over her daughter her hackles raised. "Stay still don't move baby." How could things go wrong so fast? They had all been playing and having fun. Things had been normal. Now she was in the fight for her life and her childrens own lives were being taken away before they even had a chance to live. "Pirqua! Go get the pack!" She screams. She goes to take a step forward and yelps in pain. She can't move without her body tearing open further. Like a hound from hell she stands over her daughter, her kind brown eyes filled with pain and loss.

Voodoo sees the bird and as it begins to herd her she nods. She runs in the direction of the stairs, her tan paws hitting the ground fast and hard. She leaps hard and she moves up the stairs as fast as she can trying to get away from the danger and the turmoil down below.

Black Feather

"Good, good, now stay up there! Find somewhere safe to hide!" The falcon directs, then sweeps back down the stairs and over the battle until he comes across Scream, "Here, follow me!" He cries out to the brother, landing briefly on the ground as he had done with Voodoo. Then he went for the stairs to help guide the pup. He hoped they could find something to hide in where the adults couldn't get to them.

Demon Thrasher

Black wolf zoomed into the alleys, crown twisting each way. Finally his optics locked onto his search, Unknown. He crashed up to her and spoke.
"How Can I Help?" He said authorically, immediately looking 'round to figure out who were to enemies and making no progress. Demon's fur stood on end as he prepared to help in battle.

Pirqua

She pulls back from her attack, wether she made a hit on Torture or not. "I'll be as quick as I can." The falcon vowed, sweeping past Sasha as she exited the den.

Risen

The chrome nymph wandered into the aegis den. Golden globes search with a hidden truth for Hydras. She had created her own pack, one stronger than this pack. One the whole world, including this pack, would bow down in fear. If she wasn’t proud of the pack she created she would kill them. Easy as that, they had to live up to her expectations, or not to live at all. You could say her pack was sort of a gang, if you turn your back on them, it will be the end of you.

Small dainty feet stepped up from the ward dirt into the cold hard floor. Her eyes looking around, hearing some bickering, ah how the pack liked their squabbles. She wasn’t look for a fight, however now she was teamed up with her former rival, Hidden Betrayal, and the other fea’s smell could be scented on her since they both claimed the land as theirs. She wasn’t ashamed of who she chose as a comrade in creating the pack. She knew the fea was strong, ever since they were young, they had both been very strong with the same goal of killing each other. Now the goal had changed from death to each other to creating the most evil pack the world would ever lay eyes on.

Her head was up and her tail straight out, the stance of an alpha on another’s land. She wouldn’t lower her head to anyone except a bow in greeting, the only part of her that would go down would be her tail. Eye contact would be out of the question for this was not her land, and she had no pack members with her. Instead she kept her eyes on the foreheads of all those who approached her. Growling at those who growled to her. Her intentions were simple… tell the lead she was no longer apart of this pathetic pack. Though she would say it a bit more kindly, sort of.

In the middle of the building, Risen let her head lift high. Her lips parted and she howled low with an icy edge, calling for Hydras and only Hydras. She would not state her business with any other member of the pack. She wouldn’t bow down, it was her total rebellion. Don’t step in her way... she will tear you down.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, & Pirqua

True to her word, Pirqua was back in short time with the pack. It helped that the Bog was not to far from the city, residing just southwest of Requims River where the Alleys were sprawled along. That, and she was one of the fastest animals on earth.

Bullet was the first to enter, surging through the hole in the wall with a blood-curdling snarl. His dark eyes were aflame with rare animosity and loathing that even made his sister wonder. Hitting the ground hard from his jump, the enraged father took a survey of the damage. For a moment, he hoped that maybe all of this were just a horrible nightmare; but he knew it wasn't. The sight of Panic stole his breath away. It was sickening; beyond description. Hardly thinking at all, he turned and headed straight for Torture, driving on by a blind desire to destroy. The hybrid, snarling with a ferocity that had never been made by him before, sent his jaws for the wolf's neck.

Hydras was second in the den, rushing through the door instead of the hole. She caught a glance of Risen standing there and bristled her fur slightly, "Fight for us!" But she didn't have time at the moment to speak with the other. She went for Sekhmet, dead-set on protecting her greatest ally. Hydras went for the other's haunch, trying to drive her teeth deep into muscle there and tear it to pieces.

Skeil followed shortly after Hydras. She was horrified at the sight of Panic, Lasher, and Desmon, but knew there was no time right now to dwell on the gruesome scenes. Letting her emotions fuel her, the pit bull shot off towards Torment. She aimed to bite into his shoulder, where she would seek to severe the major nerve and bloodways that pulsed there near the bone.

Pirqua went after Eternal this time. Adopting her daughter's strategy, the falcon dove for the wolf's back, trying to gouge into the enemy's flesh before flying back up into the air.

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras, Chaos, Blazen, Mercury, Arrow and Spitfire

Chaos was taken aback when Diseased lept for him. The other males fangs caught Chaos' hind leg. Snarling, the wolf turned and tried to grasp the back of Diseased neck with his jaws.

Blazen heard Psychopath. Turning just as she lept for him, her jaws caught his shoulder. This was a good time to grab her exposed neck. Blazen tried to do just that, and he bit down hard at whatever he caught.

Xina continued to sail through the air, but was met half-way by Cutter. Growling furiously, she struggled to her paws and dived for the male, going for his face to try and grab his muzzle. This would suffocate him and if she broke his jaw, he would die from starvation.

Sxythe's ear was caught by Depressions jaws. Sxythe had lowered his head when he saw the other male coming for him and so his jaws had caught his ear. He pulled back, his ear tearing from his head, and went for Depressions throat.

Murcury had a fatherly desire to get his family out of there. Hollering to his sons, Himself, Arrow and Spitfire exited the den and left the alleys.

Domnio growled. Himself and Vandras were fighting no-one. Signalling to Vandras, he went for Cutter, who was attacking his sister.

Vandras did not go for his brother, he knew he could handle the situation, and so dived for Psychopath's hindquaters, hoping to parazlyze her.

Lyckos

Bursting into the Aegis den with a savage snarl, the towering Labradane was ready to kill. He quickly looked around, working out what was happening. For some reason, He had a desire to go straight to Hydras' side, to protect her from any harm. Shaking this off, Lyckos looked for another comrade in difficulty. He knew Hydras could take care of herself, but if anyone hurt her, they would answer to him. Tucking his head, the part Labrador, part Great dane tore across the den and went for Eternal. Jaws aimed for the back of her neck, hoping to seize it and either paralyze her or kill her.

Risen .+. Fallen

The silver fea watched as all the other pack came rushing in, turning to follow she saw the fight and the dead pups and the massacre of her ‘former’ pack. She let up an evil smile as she casually walked up to the fighting group. Her eyes flashing around as the other members came filing in the room. First bullet, or course, it was his pups, then Hydras who had yelled at her to help. She remembered her plan when she first joined the pack, to kill the lead and take over the pack. But her plan was spoiled with the bond of the wolves together. The would have turned on her. Her anger began to seethe beneath her being and she looked around now for an opponent… a Shadow Lurker. First thought would have been to make allies with them.... Now her mind was double thinking.

Golden globes fell on Lyckos as he bound for Eternal. The gray femme smiled psychotically and darted after the new member. She was too quick, coming up right behind the brute she seized at one of his legs, trying to deglove the fur and yank him off of the lead. Her jaws clenched tightly, crunching with all strength. His bone could very well break in her mouth, in fact, it’s what she hoped would happen.

Fallen rushed into the room, limbs moving as fast as they could, almost a blur under her. She went straight for a body slam on Torment as he was the one attacking the pups. Her fangs searching for a soft underbelly of a limb to break. If she could get ahold on the limb she’d rip back to hopefully trip the brute. It was a motherly instinct, even if the pups were not her own, she wouldn’t let them go down while she was there now. Something new awoke and she was pissed. A strength hidden deep within, her adrenaline pumping giving her a strength none could imagine, and it was all directed on Torment.

Sequioa*Jake*Immortal

"NO!" Her voice was a roar as she sprinted into the lands her jaws dripping with blood already. She leaped directly for Risen already knowing of the little faes tricks. Just as Risen went for Lyckos's hind legs, Sequioa dived for the females underbelly hoping to tear into her and rip her wide open. Did she like the male? Not really. He had disturbed her. Something that didn't happen often.

Jake came last and he took in the sight. Darkly he lowered his head but made no move to attack as yet. He had a feeling this wasn't all of them. Something told him that there were more lurking, ready to spring out and eat them alive once they had their guards down.

"Eternal no!" Came a scream. The white female limped down the stairs as fast as she could with a broken leg that had yet to mend and be taken care of. She had seen a pup fly past her and hide underneath a table. Chairs guarded little Voodoo and made it difficult for adult wolves to reach her. Smart girl. As she limped down down down she saw her sister go after Panic and the whole thing happen. Thats when her scream could be heard. She limped forth unsure of how she could help. Get the pups. Yes she could do that. "Hey...Hey you!" She barked to Scream. When the male ignored her and continued to stare at his mother, Immortal growled darkly. "COME HERE!" She shouted at him. Still the male ignored her. She limped forth heading towards the pup who bolted, unknowing to who she was. "SASHA HELP ME!" She said to the mother. Immortal had been captive here for some time. Sasha would know who she was.

Risen

Golden orbs flicked up to see Sequioa coming at her. If the dog hadn't yelled, Risen would have been unaware of her attack. She smirked at the though that she could catch Lycko's leg in time. Instead, when the fea came at her belly, she lept high into the air. Her small body creating this a simple task as she was to high to reach for Sequioa.

When she landed she turned with bared fangs to the dog. Smiling and laughing as she could see deep down Sequioa was becoming darker. "My my Sequioa, what is that look in your eye? You don't seem to... happy..." She hissed with a playful yet convincing tone. She had a hand full of cards, and now she was begining to play them. "Your eyes look like they want power... a power you are not offered.. not offered here that is... " She continued circling the fem. "Do you really care about this pack, I personally don't know your background.. but what have they really done for you? Do you think they really are the stronger pack?" She hissed and opened her mouth. "Your stuck in 3rd in command, what about when Hydra's finds a mate.. say a mate from this pack, one who you have looked down upon for the longest time... how would it feel to watch them become your supirior... when he tells you what to do.. you -have- to do it, you to be at his every command, bending for him until you break! Is that really what you want... Sequioa..." She hissed, eyes glinting as she placed the words the way she felt they'd be most affective. Readying herself for another attack. Ears back to hear for any other attacks that would come from behind her.

Lyckos

Risen's jaws missed Lyckos' leg by inches. However when Sequioa screamed Lyckos was fully aware of Risen. Spinning round, he stood tall but his neck was tucked. Coming up behind Risen as quietly as he could, lyckos glared down at her and as she talked to Sequioa, Lyckos looked to his friend with pleading eyes, "Dont go with her Sequioa." He didnt say it aloud, he spoke through his eyes. Then he dived for the back of her neck, it would be easier for him to get as he was bigger than Risen, being part Great Dane. His powerful jaws would bite down hard on whatever they came into contact with. She went to attack him, No-one attacked him and got away with it. Risen had deserted this pack, and Lyckos was not a fan of deserters.

Patch & Fanta

Fanta raced into the den her teeth bared and she searched the ground for Patch. The little pup was hiding in a corner, Fanta raced over to him.

" Help!" Patch yipped hoping his friends were OK.

Fanta stood guard and looked for a dog that would even try hurting her son.

" Mommy, help the others!" Patch wailed. Fanta rushed Patch up the stairs to the roof top, knowing he would be safe their. Fanta then raced down to the bottom floor.

" PUPS! Follow me!" Fanta called to the pups.

Fanta

Fanta turned her attention to Desmon and raced to the pups side. Was he alive? Either way Fanta scooped his in her jaws, by the scruff, and carried him up to the floor with the other pups. " It's ok Desmon, hold on." Fanta soothed and leaped back down to the bottom floor, her eyes fixed on Torture as she leaped towards him ready to kill the hell hound

Tobias*Spitfire*Sabriel*Abhorsen

Red tailed hawk had been circling around the skies boredly. Yellow eyes pierced the world, searching. A large commotion caught the hawk's eye. Curious, large brown wings dove him over for a look. It was a fight! A large fight! Keen eyes took a look around, hoping to find out what was up. Assuming so, he noticed a large pool of blue paint and blood. He looked around and found the source. Blue-tinted pup was on a floor with other pups nearby. He was curious of the attacker. The Hawk noticed a ladder nearby the pups. He flew down and landed there, cocking a head and speaking to one of the pups.
"I am Tobias. I'm here to help you. What is going on here?" Tobias spoke, inquiring any of the pups. He glanced worriedly at Desmon, then to the retreating wolfess going to attack.

Black wolven wandered into the alleys, smeeling out a bloody assault. Spitfire was angry and ready to hurt something. He noticed most were going for Sequoia, Torture, Torment, and Lyckos. Unknowing the good ones and te bad ones, pissed off wolf dove to Torment, growling. Fur bristled up, jaws clashing together, Spitfire's optics gleaming and flashed in an angry need to hurt someone.

She-fox had been hiding in the alleys, bored and watching. Suddenly, everything went into high-speed as Torment attacked a pup. Then everything went into a fury. Sabriel ran out of the alley in a flash. About an hour later, she returned. By her side was her twin brother. She spoke no words now, slinking up and launching her assault towards Torment. Jaws snapped, aiming for the neck. Any area.

Abhorsen was slightly bigger than his twin. He watched her and growled, running off to attack Torture. Fangs snapped around, attempting to slash at his side. Rip it open or something. Do any type of damage.

Ninaki & Black Feather

Ninaki entered the den shortly, ready to rip anyone to pieces. He knew the agony of loosing offspring, and was determined not to let it happen again to his friends; or at least to halt the damage already done and dish out some payment to those that deserved it. As he entered the den, he paused only a moment as he watched the interaction between Sequoia, Risen, and Lyckos. Memories of Rage's betrayal raised a red flag, and at first he was unsure who was the traiter, for Lyckos was very new, and Risen had been a long-time pack member. But as he drew closer, he realized Risen carried a new banner; she was no Shadow Lurker. Sequoia's actions further gave validation to Ninaki's assumption. Risen was the traitor this time. Lean, agile frame was sent for the gray wolf. As he rushed upon her, he sent his jaws out to try and slash a deep wound across her side with his canines.

Black Feather was glad for some help with his mission. With Patch, Desmon, and Voodoo away from the lower floor, and Hatch and Equiss tucked safetly in a crevice, that left Honthale, Scream, and Lasher to rescue. It may already by too late for Panic, and Lasher wasn't looking good, but leaving the wounded pup down here wouldn't be good either.

The falcon landed on a railing for a moment, watching with narrowed eyes as an unknown hawk and three strangers entered the den. The hawk was definitely larger than him, but it seemed that he was on the Lurker's side. Surprisingly, he realized that the three strangers were also on his side. Normally, this would call for much questioning, but there was no time for that. He would just have to keep his eye on this helpful hawk, just to be sure of his good intentions.

Black Feather swooped down near Tobias, doing his best to show no threatening actions. "We are being ambushed; the pups must be lead upstairs where the adults can't reach them." He hesitated a moment, hoping he was making the right choice in trusting a stranger, "Please, lead that one to safety..." The peregrine nodded his curved beack to Honthale, a black pup who was currently trying to assault Torment.

The falcon took off, heading for Fanta now as she was trying to rally the pups as well, "Get Lasher, over there. She is wounded... be careful." As with Tobias, Black Feather nodded to Lasher so that Fanta would know who he was talking about. And then he returned to the pup he was initially trying to help; Scream. Hovering over the male, Black Feather gave a sharp command, "To the stairs! Follow your sister!" Once all the pups were safely upstairs, Black Feather would have to be sure to keep enemies from getting there as well.

Fanta

Fanta raced over to Tobias. " Dang wolves! They need to just get the hell away!" Fanta said Fanta scooped up Lasher in her teeth and raced up the stairs and set the pup down near Desmon. " Hold on Lasher, Hold on Desmon!" Fanta cried. Fanta then raced down the stairs looking for more pups, still gaurding the stairs from the dead brained wolves that tried to attack them. " I can use some help gaurding this." Fanta barked to some of the other dogs, and the birds.

Silverfur

The lone wolf had heard barks and raced into the den. " What the!" His voice trailed off, the smell of pup blood filled his nose. Outraged he flung himself at Torture knowing the smell of the blood was in his mouth. His bad memories filled his mind as he was ready for his teeth to sink into Torture's neck.

Disaster

The hawk had been nearby. Unknowing to Risen this was her friend. An ally. Betrayals bird. With a scream the Harris Hawk went after Black Feather, his talons spread wide hoping to pierce the lungs of the smaller bird.

Tobias*Demon

Tobias listened to the fellow hawk, nodding at the orders. Usually not one to take them, this surprised himself. But for now, the objective was clear. Get the pup up here. Tobias waited for her to leave. He spread his large brown and ebony wings, and with a whish, he took off. His eyes keen on the black pup, he took note of his anger and how he wanted the revenge his brother may never get. Red-tailed hawk whooped down and circled fow a second, looking to Black Feather. Suddenly, he saw to other hawk going for his new ally.
"BLACK FEATHER! WATCH OUT!!" Unable to help for the moment, he turned to Honthale.
"Come, little pup! You have to get with your brothers and sisters!" With that, he took a second to see how he'd respond, feeling the urgent need to help Black. Unable to leave Honthale to be ripped to pieces, it was either the pup or the falcon. Unless he did something. Finally He wrapped his talons carefully around the pup, careful not to pierce him. Tobias flew up to the upper floor, setting him by the other pups. "Stay here, I've gotta help Black!" With that, he took off, giving a scream as he dived, full speed, at his ally's attacker. Although Black was smaller than both hawks, Tobias was larger than Disaster. His talons spread as well, just trying to pierce him anywhere.

Black Feather

There was so much noise, movement, fighting going on... he didn't register the cry of the second hawk until it was nearly too late. In the midst of trying to coral Scream to safety, he saw Disaster approach from the corner of his eyes. Having the largest eyes per body ratio, little got past a peregrine's keen sight. Still, he didn't see quick enough to escape from injury. Black Feather turned and arched his wing just as the hawk sunk his talons in.

Some of the larger bird's nails dug into Black Feather's right wind, while the other set of claws found his chest. With a screeching cry, the falcon set his hooked beak for Disaster's head, trying to pierce the skull or damage one of his eyes. Knowing he couldn't hope to over power the larger raptor, Black Feather would do his best to cripple him with quick strikes.

Fanta

Fanta bared her teeth as she saw the raptors fighting and she leaped into the air towards the largest one. " Keep you blood eak away from him" Fanta said trying to defend the bird that was helping the shadow Lurker survive in the battle.

Kalion and Palima

A deafening screech was heard as an African Hawk Eagle rocketed through the entrance hole. The bird hovered in mind-air, beating her big wings, her black and white streaked body floating. Palima. Friend of Kalion. With a snarl did a brindle Labradane propel himself through the entrance. It was obvious just from looking at him, he was a relative of Lyckos, and indeed he was. Kalion was Lyckos' brother, and Palima was Kalion's closest companion so far.

The duo had been wandering through the alley's where Palima had last spotted Lyckos in the hope Kalion could see his brother again. He had sent Palima ahead, to search from the skies for Lyckos, and she had come across loud snarls and barking. The Eagle had followed the sound to the Aegis den where she had found this scene of utter devastation. The bird did not think much of it, until she saw who was right in the middle of it, Lyckos. Palima had immidiately taken to the skies to re-locate Kalion. After re-laying the news, both bird and beast had rushed to the den, and that brings us up to the present.

Kalion tucked his neck, his fur bristling and a dark growl rumbling in his throat. The hybrid looked around for anyone he could help, or that he thought was fighting with his brother. Going for the safer option, so that he didnt end up shreading someone for Lyckos' new pack, he darted over to his brother. Lyckos! What's going on!

Palima was looking around when she saw a bird diving from above. It seemed the hawk was going for a wolf. The said wolf, Ninaki, had an attack headed for Risen, whom was also being attacked by Lyckos. That branded Risen enemy with the African hawk eagle, and so Palima shot forwards, aiming to knock the bird off course and hopefully dig her big talons and beak into the other bird and shread them apart. Also Palima could put her bigger body to use and hopefully cause some decent damage to the smaller predator.

Risen

Chrome nymph heard taking of claws by Lyckos as he took off from the ground. Remember her ears were back, she could still hear behind her, while Ninaki came from the side. She jumped away and turned to face the three. Lyckos had gotten her rump as she darted away.

Golden eyes pierced a deadly glare to all three. A wicked smile apon her own maw as her tail raised high over her back. Then another being came into the picture, Kalion, and she gave him a dreadful snarl in greeting. "Dear dear Ninaki, I wasn't going to hurt Sequioa. Only this runt!" She turned and gave a false snap toward Lyckos. "You pack has grown weak, a home for the defenceless. As a pup I thought you would be stronger, ruthless. But I was wrong. Your a pack of pampered dogs looking for something to do with your time!" She snarled and flashed her fangs. "I was here simply to talk to Hydras, but she told me to join the fight..." She gave an evil cackle, "So I did...but I am on my own side, Lyckos looks like a wimp, he wouldn't be missed if he were dead to this pack!" She snarled tossing her head about to show her strength compaired to her size.

Vampyre

Like a bat out of hell

A low, menacing cackle came from behind the four wolves that had cornered Risen. I wouldn't do that if I were you.

Silvery eyes flashed with malice and torment as they flickered between each of the canines that surround her alphess. Im Vampyre, It would do you good to remember that name.

Then without another word, the black muscular wolfess began to snap at Ninaki's face before dipping down and shooting her jaws up for his throat.

Vampyre, Risen's self proclaimed second in command. Merciless killer and extrodinaire.

Vampyre

Ive come to suck your blood

Ninaki

"So, you've choosen the same fate as Zira." He rumbled darkly in reply to Risen, "A pack, and a leader, are nothing without close-knit and devoted companions. Loyalty, Risen, is a hallmark which you seem to lack. And you fail to remember are most recent war? It is you..." but the hybrid had no more time for words as Vampyre came to attack. His senses were on fire as it were, trying to keep silent track of who was entering the den; not that he could prevent it. There were many strangers here, which he assumed were allies to Aaka or someone. In any case, as Black Feather had thought, there was no time to sort everyone out at the moment.

Having been a Lurker since he and his late sister were young, Ninaki had been put through countless varieties of tricks and attacks. He was not easily taken off guard, and even harder to tag from straight on. Being of slimmer build than many of his packmates, the collie strain in him afforded great agility where strength was lacking. With a snarl of defiance, Ninaki dove out of Vampyre's snapping path, evading her first volley of attacks by use of his nimble footing. He figured it wouldn't be long before he was wounded, especially with his next move. No sooner did he jump away then he came back, taking a diving leap to her side and snapping his head to the side. He went low, trying to aim his bite just bast the ribcage where he might be able to hit the stomach or diaphragm. Being a carnivor, he had gone through enough carcasses to know what lay beneath, though he wasn't always sure of their purpose.

Fanta

Fanta listened to the wolf her eyes burning with anger her heart seemed to be on fire. Fanta wanted to murder the intruder, enemy. Die you worthless dog! Fanta barked to the enemy dog.

Risen

Gray dove still had her ears back, she heard Fanta and dodged a possible attack, then as Ninaki went for Vampyre Risen went for Ninaki. She was thin and nimble as well, plus some muscles she attained from her father. She wouldn't be as easy to take down as one would think.

As Ninaki jumped out of the way, then turned to dive at the rib cage. That's when she made her attack, staring while he dodged, as if just to watch, and while he was in the air and out of grounds reach, she lunged herself to his throat. Timing to catch him a split second after he bit down on Vampyre. She growled through clenched jaws to her former packmate. "Close knit, as in love? Love can make you strong, but hate can make you stronger! When you absolutly hate something, there is a boost of energy... to give a killing win." She snarled and thrashed her head around, hoping to tear apart what ever she had in her mouth.

Vampyre

Ninaki's fangs caught a small section of flesh just by Vampyre's ribcage. The black wolfess jumped back, tearing it away from her own body and leaving it in Ninaki's mouth. Pain surged through her body but she ignored it, she had a job to do. With Risen occuping Ninaki, Vampyre turned her target to Fanta. The dog was shouting pathetic insults out. Vampyre rolled her eyes. Your turn With a savage growl, Vampyre threw herself at Fanta, trying to seize the back of her neck. She clamped her fangs down as hard as she could on whatever she got and began to shake her head to ip it apart.

Lyckos, Kalion and Palima

Lyckos snarled, eyes burning with hatred for Risen. The rest that happened was a blur, but soon enough the Labradane had had enough. Snarling, he hurled himself at Risen, Aiming for his favoured spot; the back of the neck.

Kalion saw Vampyre going for Fanta. The hybrid charged, trying to ram into Vampyre and knock her off course.

Palima changed targets and began to dive for Risen's back, trying to sink her talons into the wolfess' flesh.

Sequioa*Disaster*Wicked

Sequioa snarled at Risen and took a step forth to attack when suddenly a sharp pain seared through her as another clamped there jaws upon her back leg. Turning to see upon her foe her eyes locked onto Wicked, a black and white wolfess with an anger problem. With a snarl Sequioa turned, tearing her leg free. Blood seeped from the wound staining her black and tan coat as she snarled at the wolfess. With a grin Wicked took off, cackling darkly. Suddenly a howl pierced the air. Eternal. "Everyone out!" They had done enough damage for one day. As if someone had flipped a switch the others took off, away from the den and in their own seperate directions leaving in the wake a place of disaster.

Speaking of Disaster. The Harris hawk let out a scream and squeezed as tight as he could latching onto the bird taking him higher and higher before suddenly letting go. Like the dogs he disappeared into the sky away from everything here.

Sequioa growled darkly and would have followed after them, being the spy of the pack and everything but as soon as she took a step pain tore through her. Another demonic growl rose from the hybrid but she made no move to leave, her eyes glued to the exit of the den. She would kill them all one day. One way or another.

Sasha still stood, as still as a statue over her pup, her eyes hollow and the anger that had been burning through her was beginning to fade. In its place was the pulsing of her heart which made it feel as if her entire body was pulsing from the pain that was inside of her. Her eyes turned and landed upon Panic. Tears formed and spilled down her ebony cheeks as she whispered softly "Why?" She looked down at the floor pain tearing a deep hole into her heart. They were her first pups. All of them.

Crucified .+. Fallen

As the shadows began to file out, one new one slithered in. Loud snarls let all know he was there, a terrible sight of a wolf who had gone mentally insane. Tears were dripping off of his face, leaving a small trail of cold and painful dots. His hackles were all up and he was growling with utter hatred and confusion. The tears would not stop flowing as he looked around for his mark... The one who had brought him into the land. She would pay...

He looked around then found the black figure attacking another, then hopping off and looking around to the snarling sound. Fallen stepped a few steps toward her weeping son, then saw something terrible in his eyes. She froze and began to whimper herself. "Crucified..." She said almost breathlessly. Before she could say anything else, the pale brute had launched himself with a deadly snarl and flew like a dart to its mark.

Fallen could feel his jaws wrap around her neck and press, then felt everything in her throat go aflame as he began to thrash his head with bitter fury. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT! YOU HAD TO MAKE ME, CREATE ME, LIKE A SLUT YOU DIRTY WHORE!" He pressed down harder and harder, until the small fea began to gurgle. Blood began to choke her as it spilled out of the corners of her mouth and dribbled out of her nostrils. Her eyes started to grow dull as her small fight back began to grow deathly. Her eyes fell on the pack and they seemed to strain to see, though she could see nothing. She mouthed to them all... "I'm sorry"...

Crucified dropped the near dead body and turned to the pack. Fallen fell limp on the floor, her eyes seemed lifeless but a soft rise and fall of her thorax claimed her still living.

The white brute growled psychotically and spat out his mother's blood. Growling to them, "Go ahead... you know you want me." He said and threw up his head. Jaws now crimson as well as his gullet. He wanted them to kill them, and he wanted them to know it. "I AM A NOTHING! NOT WORTHY OF LIFE! YOU CAN STILL SAVE HER, BUT AS FOR ME.... DEATH HAS BEEN CALLING FOR A LONG TIME! I TELL YOU TO HELP HIM!" He roared a demand in a demonic tone and gurgled some blood.

Risen stopped and turned to watch her brother slay her mother. If it had been her, the wolf would be dead. Even so, he took her goal to kill her mother. But now he was begging for death. "How stupid!" she growled then turned back to Ninaki. Though she didn't attack, she let him make a reaction to the deal of Crucified.

Enola

She didn't even know if she could make it here. IT seemed to take forever for the wolfess but finally she stumbled and fell. Pulling herself up with a whimper she dragged herself into the lands of the Lurkers, her eyes frantic. "Crucified.....NO!" She screamed as she saw him launch for his mother. She saw as the attack was made and Fallen cut wide open. Before the Lurkers could leap upon him she moved, her thin and frail body looking as if it would break or if a sudden wind tore through she would be swept away from them and never seen again. "You have to stop Crucified. Look at me. LOOK AT ME!" Her voice grew stronger as her amber eyes bore into his own. "Its not your fault that I'm like this. It never was your fault. Its mine. ITs always been mine. You have to stop." Suddenly she realized what she was doing. She was stopping the others from killing him even if thats what he wanted. She would help him straighten out his life. She could do it. Even if in the end it would probably kill her, she would do it. For the sake of the pack. "Think of your children. Think of all those mothers that you've been taking care of. What will become of them? What will become of me?"

Crucified

Pained eyes turned to see Enola enter the land. He quickly snapped in her direction to stay away, but couldn't help as she came near. Everything began to shudder inside of him. Flashes of the pack in his mind. He shook his head then looked down to his deed. Horrific....

As she told him it wasn't his fault he closed his eyes and shook his head. Inside his mind screaming bloody murder while gripping his head and falling do his knees in pain and anger. The darkness around him gripping at his throat holding his feet just out of reach from the sweet ground.

Orbs re-opened and he snarled to her. "It is not your fault Enola! It is mine own, for thinking I could take on such a pack! I am weak! Those mothers think nothing of me! They hate me for whom I am and whom I have chosen. And I admit I was rash, but I risk loosing my heir if I turn back!" He snarled and threw his head to the side trying to whipe the images away but the only came swarming his mind again and again. "I want to run away, but if I run, I will be a fugitive to myself! And then I'll be after myself.. forever!" He turned back to the pack. Knowing they would be stunned and pissed.

"And you wouldn't have become like that if I had never ruined your life! I should have stayed with you since a pup, but I was young and adventurous, and I thought..... I don't know what I thought!" He cried and looked down to his mother. Guilt wreeking his body, he turned to the pack. "After you are done with me.. take her to the humans... They should heal her.."

He turned to Enola... "I thought I was good enough for a pack.. but I am too young.. I have screwed up too many lives... and now I must pay."

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras, Chaos, Blazen, Lyckos, Kalion, Palima and Vampyre

Vampyre fell crashing to the floor when she was barged. Rolling over onto her paws, she snarled but was soon stopped at Eternals orders. Turning to look at her alphess, the beta turned and left the den.

The Midnight Hunters stopped fighting, and as Eternal bolted from the den they moved towards the entrance hole, incase of another sneak attack, to guard it. However, Xina moved towards Sasha. A sympathetic look on her face. She nuzzled the grieving mother. Shhh Sasha, It's ok, They're in a better place now.She cooed, trying to soothe the Doberman's pain as best she could.

Blazen stopped, panting and tired, he shook his head an moved to the side of the room and fell to the floor, exhausted.

Lyckos looked around, everyone was comforting one another. He saw Sequioa, she looked hurt. Calling to Kalion, who came over to his brother, he whispered to him. Lyckos then turned to head for Hydras. Are you ok?

Kalion also nodded but turned in the opposite direction. He smiled softly as he neared the injured Sequioa. Hello Sequioa, I'm Kalion, Lyckos' Brother. Are you alright? Palima dived from the skies. The African Hawk Eagle landed softly on Kalion's back.

Sequioa

She turned a bloodstained maw towards the labradane and a growl rose from her. Snapping at his muzzle the delta began to pace back and forth, limping but pain driving her to do something. "My best friends pups are dead, what do you think?" She snarled at Kalion. She wasn't really always like this. Normally she was more apathetic and not caring about anyone or anything. Suddenly she turned her dial to Kalion, about to say something else along the lines of 'back off' when her eyes fell upon him. Sudden;y something snapped in her and she looked almost broken, defeated. Something that she always locked away where no one else could see. "How could they do that to a pup? She never did anything to them." It looked almost as if the hybrid would break into tears but she held herself together well. She sucked in a breath and shuddered, turning away from him and moving towards the alleys. She didn't want to be here to see Sasha's face and she didn't want the body of Panic reminding her that she had failed.

Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Pirqua, Dally, Mesa, Desmon, Equiss, & Lasher

As the intruders departed, Hydras too had the inclanation to follow right after them, but knew it was best to stay. Hard-set eyes had already taken in the damage done, and now turned to Lyckos. "I'm fine. How about you?" His question had kind of taken her aback, for rarely was such a question put to her. His actions thus far had done everything to show his loyalty and promise of an excellent Lurker addition. If the situation weren't so dire at the moment, she would have taken time to speak with him more. But now, there were some issues to deal with. Crucified, for one, had just attacked one of her members.

Snarling fiercely, Hydras charged forward and attempted to shoulder-slam the male and drive him to the ground while he was busy talking with Enola. Scent told her that this was the offspring of Fallen, so her initial desire to kill him was stayed for the moment until she was able to make sense of the situation. If his attack was against the Lurkers as a whole, then her decision to kill him would be an easy one. But if this were family matters between him and his mother, she would be more cautious about dealing with it, depending on Fallen's wishes and her son's next actions. If Fallen died however... the choice would once again fall to execution.

Skeil looked to Rusen with a hint of disbelief in her dark eyes. She had not taking delight in the execution of Zira, and hated to see another Lurker be branded as a traitor. But what ever had to be done, she'd do. "Watch her." Then she headed briskly for Fallen. "Mesa, come with me." Taking hold of the mother's scruff as gently as she could, the pit bull began to drag the wolfess out of the den. She knew just where to go.

Mesa followed after, making sure that her friends weren't ambushed along the way. And if they were, she'd be quick to report it.

Bullet hurried over to Sasha, his body trembling with a mixture of anger and shock, "Sasha, I'm so sorry... I never should have left you alone..." He turned his eyes to Panic again before looking back to his beloved mate, "I will never leave you again, I swear..." He was at a loss for words right now, and torn between consoling his mate and keeping his attention on matters at hand.

Up on the roof, Lasher lay where she had been put down. Pain pulsed around her back, but stopped abruptly about midway down. Past that, she could feel nothing. Beside her, she could see her cousin, covered in blood and blue paint, taking in shallow, weezing breaths that caused maroon bubbles to foam out of his chest wound. Her senses were overun with the scent of blood and fear, and she could hear the adults below. "Momma! Daddy!" She cried out, trying to drag herself to the steps, but unable to.

Pirqua dove after her mate, trying to catch him by the claws as he fell, and land him safely on the ground. It was tactic she had done before in, well.. courtship. Of course, she had never tried to carry him by his claws. It helped, though, that he was only a third her weight.

Dally took leave of the scene. Without annoucing it, he departed from the Den and the Alleys all together after slipping through one of the windows.

Fanta

Fanta limped up to the roof top to Lasher and began to like her wounds. " Hold on Lasher." Fanta said walking to Desmon licking were the wounds were the paint wasn't. "Desmon stay strong. You cna live, fight it!" Fanta said. Fanta was a great wolf when it came to healing, she knew how to help others fight for their life, she had helped other before.

" Momma!" Patch said scamping over to Fanta. " Desmon!"

" Patch be quiet." Fanta snapped tryingto calm the shooken up pups.

Ninaki & Black Feather

Ninaki had been prepared to fight back, but the enemies had gone into a sudden retreat. Yellow-golden eyes turned on Risen, "I'm sure you know the saying; live for nothing, fall for anything. Hatred is nothing compared to loyalty." The beta tensed as two more wolves entered the den, following the exit of Eternal's pack and allies. An ominous growl started afresh in his throat and he stood ready to help Hydras deal with the attacker.

Black Feather gave another screech as he fell, flapping hard but unable to slow his rapid descent. Luckily for him, Pirqua managed to catch his flailing talons and offer him a much softer landing on the ground. Rolling over, the falcon hunched down on the ground with his dark wings drooped down and head held low. "Pirqua, the pups must come back down. Voodoo is hiding on the second floor; the rest are on the roof." He would get them himself, but he could hardly walk, much less fly.

The Midnight Hunters, Lyckos, Kalion and Palima

Kalion was rather taken aback at Sequioa's action, but followed her, concerned. Palima too, followed her canine companion.

Domnio nodded to Skeil. We'll watch her. With a single head movement, Domnio and his pack enclosed Risen in a cage of teeth and claws, so the female could not escape and Hydras could deal with her.

Lyckos nodded, a weight lifted off his chest when Hydras said she was ok. He smiled. Im alright. As always, his eyes met hers in the friendly guesture, but this time there was a flicker of something else in the Labradane's eyes, admiration prehaps, but it soon disappeared. He watched her as she soon took off and attacked Crucified. This one smelled like Risen and Fallen. This angered the male, especially since Risen had been teasing him earlier. Snarling savagely, Lyckos followed Hydras towards Crucified, but he didn't attack. He stood, neck tucked, baring his fangs at the intruder.

Hidden Betrayal*Enola

"NO!" She screamed as Hydras rammed into Crucified. "No, no, no. This wasn't supposed to happen." She turned to Hydras and stood now in front of her alpha her entire body shaking. She couldn't stand much longer let alone fight them. "It's my fault Hydras. All my fault." She stood as a gate keeper. Get through her to get to Crucified.

The alphess had not left with the others. She hadn't even let herself be known to any here. As they surrounded Risen a snarl arose from her and from the depth of the shadows she emerged. "You wont even get the chance to touch her. Risen, lets go." If the grey female wanted she could barge through the barrier or jump over them. Either way, Betrayal didn't want to be here. Enola was here and that was history that was best left untouched.

Tobias

Tobias kept his eyes on the two dying pups. His head was low, he could sense they were near death. A very slim chance of living. He felt as if he could have stopped them; he was cicling the alleys at the time. If only he'd stayed over Aegis, he could have warned the pups and wolves, ending the whole thing. But of course, Tobias couldn't... He'd only been looking for food. Finally he convinced hiself it wasn't entirely his fault; but tucked his head under his wing in shame anyway, feeling down majorly.

Risen .+. Crucified

Risen smiled as the midnight pack started to circle her. Her eyes ablazed with a devine craft like fury. She glared to Ninaki but said nothing and heard the words of her comrade. "That's my que to leave. Ciao" She growled and launched herself high into the air. Grabbing at least 5 feet of air, keeping her feet tucked so they couldn't grab a flying limb. Landing with a wag of her tail, she took off after Betrayal to take refuge on her own land.

Crucified felt the huge weight impound his chest and he flew a few meters away. Gruffing as the air tried to come back to him he shook and began to rise. Growling to Hydra's with a limp in one of his shoulders. "Is that the best..." He paused as Enola stood infront of him. "Enola, no... Please.. go back to the lands." He stood and walked up to her. "You have no reason to be here. It's not your fault. I have to pay my price." He pushed her gently, whimpering softly. Trying to get her away from the danger. "Go eat.. live..." He fell to the ground and looked up to Hydras. Then revealed his throat in hopes for a quick bite.

Fallen

The fallen lurker looked up to Skeil as she began to tug at her, she couldn't see whoh it was but the gentleness told her not to fight back. Giving soft gurgling whimpers, the blood lose soon drove the fea into unconciousness. If medical attention wasn't provided quickly, she would die with the lose of blood as it pooled out of her mouth, nose, and throat.

Domnio and Lyckos

As Risen and Betrayal left, Domnio let his guard down. He did not bother to chase her down. Hydras, We'll keep guard outside. The wolf turned and trotted out of the den, followed by his pack. They positioned themselves outside. no-one could get in or out without them seeing them.

Lyckos continued to growl. He looked to Hydras. What was she going to do? Fallen was clinging onto life by a thread and this hybrid was begging for death. As Crucified lay on the ground with his neck exposed, Lyckos cocked his head. The growling stopped and he looked to Hydras, confused.

Fanta

Fanta looked hopelessly at Desmon panicking at the pup. " Desmon, you must fight this, you can live!" Fanta said strongly her heart pumping fastly. " I want the severly injured pups still up here, I need help too! We got to stop their bleeding as fast as we can!" Fanta said not trying to command but to plead.

Patch whimpered as he walked down to the second floor with Voodoo. " Desmon!" He cried.

Hydras, Bullet, Pirqua, Desmon, Equiss, & Lasher

"Would you like to finish that statement?" Hydras hissed out in response to Crucified initial words to her, "Because I can assure you that there's much more that I can do." As Risen and Hidden Betrayal left, Hydras didn't move to stop them; there was too much to deal with here to go chasing after them, but there would always be later. A thankful nod was set to the Midnight Hunters before furious orbs went to Enola, "Unless you wish this day to be your last, I suggest stepping aside." Her tone was seething, and she was ready to attack if Enola showed the slighest resistance to her. An ear perked as she heard Fanta's calling from above. "Bullet, help them."

Bullet didn't need to be told twice by Hydras. Although loathing to leave his mate's side, as he had just promised never to leave her, one of his pups was in desperate need of help. "Stay here, please." He pleaded of Sasha, then dashed upstairs, going from the second and third floors to reach the roof. "I'll take Lasher, you can take Desmon." Bullet said, speaking hurriedly to Fanta. "Their wounds are past nature's care; they need the Lady." Picking up Lasher as gently as possible, he retreated back down the stairs and out of the Aegis Den. He was headed for the Woodland Farm.

Lasher yelped pitfully as she was picked up. Despite her father's careful jaws, the pain was impossible to avoid.

Desmon moved slightly, his eyelids flickering as his mind reeled in and out of consciousness. He was still alive, but there was so much blood and air getting trapped in his chest that every breath grew harder and harder to take in.

Slowly, Equiss krept out of her hiding spot, "Hatch... I think they're gone..." The tawny-brown pup peeked her head around the edge of the collumn where she and her cousin had taken refuge in. She saw Crucified on the ground, with another unknown wolf and her aunt facing off. Just then, her father dashed by, carrying her sister in his jaws. "Mom..." Equiss timidly whispered just as her eyes fell on Panic, "No!" Whimpering, she ran over to her sister's body and nudged frantically at it, "Panic! Momma, help her! Panic, wake up!"

Fanta

Fanta nodded and picked up Desmon gently and began to follow Bullet. " Who is this women?" Fanta asked following Bullet.

Lyckos and Palima

Palima did not know where Silverfur had gone, but the African Hawk Eagle followed Kalion's orders. Diving through the entrance hole, the bird landed near Lyckos. Lyckos, Sequioa is badly hurt. Kalion wanted you to come and help her, He thinks she'll need to be taken to the Lady.

Lyckos' eyes slipped from the bird to Hydras. He didn't want to leave her, if the others came back and with so many injured, she might not stand such a good chance. He didn't doubt her power, but if the whole force came back she could be overpowered. Hydras... He paused, thinking, before continuing. Sequioa needs help, I'm going to take her to the Lady. I wont be long. He then turned back to Palima. Stay and watch here, if anything happens come and get me.

The bird nodded, flying up to land o some debris where she had a good view of the lower floor of the den.

Lyckos turned and before he left the den, quickly nudged Hydras, in a friendly way. Then the Labradane left the den as quickly as he could to find Kalion and Sequioa.

Patch

The pup limped down the stairs and looked around for Voodoo or someone. He was lonely, thoughts of the other pups dead filled his mind. He whimpered and collasped, exhausted, scared, and in emotional pain.

Silverfur

The wolf had just entered the den when he saw the small, tired pup lying on the ground. He saw it wasn't hurt but he picked it up and carried it to a corner to sleep. " Rest now little pup." he said softly and turned off hoping to find the leader and to find a place in the pack.

Hatch & Honthale

Hatch left his hiding space as Equiss did. Ears pack and eyes peeled open in awe, he took a timid survey of the damage done. Most of the casualties had been taken away, save for his cousin. He shivered at the sight of her body, lying motionless on the bloody concrete. Wishing his own parents would come soon to comfort him, Hatch crept after Equiss and stood uncertainly beside her, staring bleakly at Panic.

Honthale did not like to be picked up, but quickly ended his struggles when it only caused the raptor's talons to dig into him. By the time he was set down and had time to run back to the first floor, things had settled down. The enemy had retreated. Much to his dismay, for he still planned on sinking his fangs into Traitor.

Not sure what else to do, the black-pelted youngster padded morosely over to Patch and sat down near him, ears down and eyes mournful.

Unknown

She was confused now. Who was who and what was going on? Seeing Demon she barked to him to get him here. She was pinned in a corner and her shoulder was torn upon from a few spats but then others came amybe he could help her.

Demon

Demon glanced to Unknown and plodded over there, in position at her side and ready to fight. His usual stoned feelings were broken for now, to help this new friend. He gave a helpful, reassuring lick to her wound, to clean it up a bit, then stood by her side, ready to attack.

Sabriel + Abhorsen

When the pair ound the fight was over, having barely done much, they bounded off, leaving the sights unhurtfl as they went off to hunt.

Sasha

Her eyes were locked upon the body of her dead daughter as tears filled her eyes and fell to the floor intermixing with the blood and paint. "She...Shes gone." She whispered to her daughter. Adrenaline was pumping through Sasha. She could not feel the extent of her wounds or the fact that she was slowly bleeding to death. All she saw now was her dead daughter. The doberman staggered forth, brushing past Hydras and out of the building. Soon, the female was lost in a worl that she had once known so well. But in her weak state and fragile mind she was lost.

Enola moaned softly and sank back onto her haunches. "Kill me then bitch." She still was in front of Crucified and she stared into the alphess's eyes, although it was not purposeful. Hydras was fading in and out. Blackness and then Hydras. Blackness and then Hydras. She blinked hard and turned and stumbled so that she was laying down now. She...Couldn't go any farther.

Lyckos

The Labradane soon returned, after seeing to the casualties at the Woodland Farm. He had taken Sequioa there and she was currently recovering with Kalion and Skeil there to watch over them all. He was panting as he entered the Aegis Den. He just heard Sasha. He hung his head and he slowed down to come up along-side her. He knew Bullet would be along soon. He was about to say something when the Doberman disappeared out of the den. He was about to follow her when he heard Enola. With a growl, Lyckos came up next to Hydras, just behind her to show respect. Thats no way to speak to an Alphess wench, shut your mouth. A low rumble continued from his throat. He looked to Hydras to see what she was going to do when the protective Enola fell to the ground. If Hydras did kill her, it would be rather easy. He continued to growl, but it wasn't as loud. He was feeling very angry and protective over the injuries his pack had sustained. No one hurt his family, his friends and got away with it.

Hydras, Bullet, Pirqua, & Equiss

A deadly snarl grew in her throat as Enola spoke back, "I gave you two a chance, and you screwed up." Sympathy was the last thin on her list now, with one niece dead and countless others injured. "You two will die together, now." The alphess gave a faint nod of her head, side-glancing at Lyckos and signalling him to join in on the execution. She then swept her muzzle down, aiming to seize Enola's throat and crush it between her jaws. That left Crucified for Lyckos.

Bullet was returning now, following after Lyckos at a swift pace. Dread and sorrow were clearly written on his features, and a stiffly-held tail showed his anxiety. As he neared the den, he spotted Sasha disappearing out of sight. "Sasha, wait!" He barked out, trying to catch up to her.

Pirqua glided down to Equiss. "Come with me, Equiss, Hatch." The falcon looked around, eyes catching onto Honthale, "You too." Swooping low over the ground, she headed for Voodoo, "All of you must stick together right now, until everything is sorted out."

Equiss, too stunned to do otherwise, followed the falcon's orders.

Lyckos and Palima

Lyckos quickly nodded to Palima and the Hawk Eagle left the den to return to Kalion. She could easily find him.

The Labradane snarled savagely as Hydras announced the execution. He just caught her nod and immediately his eyes locked onto his target. Crucified. The hybrid moved forwards towards the brute and dipped down, as if he was going for a leg but at the last minute shot his jaws up to try and seize Crucified's throat. He hoped to suffocate him or catch her jugular or simply crush it between his powerful scissor jaws.

Crucified

The white beast watched as Hydras nodded, then caught her movement toward Enola. "NO!" He snarled savagly and launched himself to Hydras' face, trying to catch the female before she got to Enola. However when Lyckos launched his own attack, Crucified staggered and pressed forward. The labradane had caught the base of his neck and he began to bleed immensly, however that wouldn't stop him.

With the large hybrid on his side, blood slowly oozing from the wound. He bit at Hydras', both her face and her neck. "You deal with me! She is in no condition to fight!" Fangs stayed unsheathed. Only after attacking Hydras did he realize Lyckos had latched onto him and with a few more chomps would be in his jugular. He didn't care however, he wanted Enola to live.

Enola

Indeed, Enola was far gone on the road to death as it was. She felt fangs sink into her, but with Crucified's help, Hydras's fangs missed their mark but still struck her. A soft whimper of pain escaped her and she sat up, the world tilting beneath her. Dark and light melded into one another until all the fae saw were shadows. She saw Crucified one moment and then he was gone. Images of her dead mother passed through her mind and she whimpered and layed her head back down to rest.

Lyckos

He grinned inwardly as his jaws caught the base of Crucified's neck. He felt the warm blood running in and over his muzzle. He tried to shuffle his jaws further up when Crucified tried to attack
Hydras. He snarled as best he could with a mouthful of flesh and tried to speak. You...leave...her...alone!
He tried to move his fangs upwards and closer to Crucifieds Jugular, biting down with a lot more force.

Patch & Silverfur

Patch raced up his heart beating wildly in his chest. Patch whimpered as he moved closer to Voodoo crying his 'heart' out.

Silverfur raced up and went for Crucified's back leg, attempting to bring him down. Jaws open Silverfur launched at the hybrid hoping to get it on target

Hydras

Hydras brought her jaws down as tightly as possible, pressing her muzzle forward, although Enola seemed to go down without too much effort on the alpha's part anyway. She winced as Crucified's teeth marred her muzzle, but didn't retaliate; she knew Lyckos had him now. Once Enola was down, Hydras snapped her jaws open for a split second, wide and gaping, and sent them for a deeper grip on the fae's neck, where she would be able to reach the vitals. Then they snapped shut, pressing together unyeildingly. If Enola didn't move out of the way, the alpha's jaws should easily find there way through the jugular and windpipe.

Tobias

The red-tailed watched the execution, feeling terror and anger in his heart. Knowing he'd surely be hunted and, most likely, sneaked up on and eaten if he intruded to tell them to stop, Tobias waited out the battle, each step f the paws they took and every snap of the jaws ripping him apart. He hated seeing punishment, but knew it was in order. Sighing he lifted his wings and silently flew down from the roof, here blood and paint still rested, and perched at a stool nearby Sasha. He watched not the battle, but her, with piercing golden eyes that showed nothing.

Patch & Silverfur

Patch hid in the corner, whimpering hoping that another battle wasn't going on.

Silverfur missed and rolled on the ground, going for Enola's legs since she was down he went to sink his teeth down into her skin.

Crucified

Lycko's teeth dug into his Jugular, but it didn't stop him. He went after who was attacking the more vital part of the fea. He thrashed and pulled away from Lycko's tearing his jugular wide open, the adrenaline making him feel almost nothing as his eyes rolled back and his sharp teeth went for Hydras' eye. Trying to both push her from Enola's vital and blind her. "I SAID LEAVE HER ALONE" He bit down and thrashed, hoping to tear skin off. A few moments after his thrashing he fell. Blood pooling out of his own mouth as his front legs struggled to try and lift him. His blood was pooling our of his neck as well as he crawled toward Enola. A gurgling snarle sent to Silverfur. "Gy-Gyou Gleave 'er G-G'lone." He took in a weezing breath and layed over Enola's neck and chest. His paw over her face while his neck hovered over hers in protection. It was his turn to start seeing images melt together. "She... Doesn' diserve this" He gurgled again and lowered his head over her neck. Whispering to the fea quietly. "Dont... die.. Enola....." His body began trembling as he layed there. His life slowly leaving. Mind was spining and pounding as the pain from his neck grew unbearable then began to numb in death. He would be dead in a matter of time.

Aaka*Enola

"Enough!" Came the sudden roar as Aaka lunged forward. She slammed her chest hard into Lyckos. This was the first time she had ever defied Hydras but she couldn't stand for this. Not this. "Hasn't there been enough death for one day?!" Anger seething from the small female she snarled at Hydras and grabbed onto the scruff of Crucified roughly beginning to drag him to the Woodland farm. Before she reached the door way she let him go letting his head fall. Her eyes bore into Hydras's own as she said in her quiet voice "He has a mate and pups. She won't live without him. Her pups are to young to take over the land and another will, killing them all or expecting them to bow to their wishes. His death and hers" she nodded to Enola, "Will bring a chain reaction of deaths all because he attacked another who will live. Does that seem fair to you?" She asked the alphess. She was speaking as a mother, not as the Shadow she truly was.

Enola could feel the weight of crucified atop her and she whimpered softly as his blood began to soak her fur. When it was dragged off, she knew she was once more at the mercy of Hydras. Oh....God. She was going to die. Not from starvation as she had thought but at the fangs of the alphess. She could hear Aaka's words. Every last one of them and it shocked her to the core. The femme actually cared? Enola's bright eyes opened and she went to try and sit up but fell back with a moan. She couldn't move any farther.

Lyckos

He felt his jaws catch Crucified's jugular and began to bite down as hard as he could, trying to sever it. He soon did due to the actions of the brute. Blood flooded his mouth when Crucified lept forwards towards Hydras. No! You leave her alone you worthless...scummy... He snarled as he jumped towards Crucified, trying to knock him off course so that he wouldnt hit Hydras. However this plan backfired when he was met by Aaka. She knocked him back and he landed on his side. Rolling over, he quickly picked himself up, seething with anger. There could be one more death because of him Aaka. He almost roared as she picked up Crucified and began to move away. So because hes got a mate and pups means he has the right to attack his own mother! He knew what he was doing and now he has to take the concequences of attacking another in a different pack for no reason! It seems perfectly fair that he should die. A low rumble still erupting from Lyckos' throat. I hope he does die and rot. No one attacks my pack mates and gets away with it, no matter who they are.

Ok so maybe he was now over reacting, but he was boiling with anger. He then turned to Enola, who was crumpled on the floor below Hydras. He panted, blood stained his maw and fangs, but he did not attack her. He would wait for Hydras to speak or act. His eyes looked to her.

Hydras

Before she had the chance to deliever a deadly bite to Enola, fangs hit her face, tearing across the side of her cheek and part of her muzzle. Thankfully, Crucified had been knocked away, or his teeth would have hit an eye. And then she was taken aback, to say the least, when her ally came barging in to save her enemies. In her own domain. A deep snarl rose in her voice as she stepped over Enola and matched Aaka's gaze with a heated look, "He attempted to take Fallen's life, and I won't risk another attempt on her life just because he has pups to tend to. My brother and Sasha have pups to tend to, and one was killed today, a pup! Go talk to them, talk to her..." Hydras roughly pointed her muzzle to Pani's body, "...before you accuse me of not being fair!" She was in a seething rage, and didn't really mean to be so hostile to Aaka. But, in defense of her pack's casualties, it was her duty to ensure punishment to those that deserved it, and do all she could to protect them in the future.

The alphess struggled to calm down, and despite her rage, she knew it would not be good to be totally harsh with Aaka. This was still her good friend and ally, and she couldn't risk losing her just because of some heated words, "If these two live, I am putting it to you to make sure they don't harm my pack again, Aaka. You seem to know them, so I need you to sort things out for me." She looked from Enola to Crucifed, then to Aaka, "And for heaven's sake, watch who you attack here." She took a sidestep, moving closer to Lyckos now.

Silverfur

Silverfur growled and Aaka, angered and full of fury. " These wolves will kill another if we don't kill them now..." Silverfur growled and Aaka his eyes full of fury and hatrid. "Either they go far away, or I'll kill them, now myself. I don't care if I lose my life for it. I may not be part of this pack but I know quit well already that these two will try and kill us soon." Silverfur's fur bristled as he stared at Crucified angerly, his heart wanting him to just rip the wolves fur off and kill him, making him die a painful way.

Crucified .+. Io .+. Ino

Crucified felt himself be lifted off of Enola. He struggled a bit to place himself once again to protect her, but the blood loss had made him too weak and he fell to be dragged away by Aaka... "Enola...." He whispered as if to call her, and the he passed out due to the lack of blood.

A furious supurb starling fluttered around the room and landed on Crucified's hind leg. Sizzling herself with tears in her eyes. "For your information Crucified has never killed anything but deer and rabbits! He didn't kill his mother, if he wanted her dead he'd have finished her off on the floor!" She puffed up her fur and hoped off the wolf's leg, lowering her head in a mourning way.

Ino, the egyptian plover, watched eagerly from a window. She smiled at the sight of Crucified though she knew the though of him still living would anger his sister Risen. She watched quietly, waiting for him to either die, or move to the farm for healing.

Blazed

Blazed's hulking figure could be spotted immediately at he entered the premises. His icy blue pools quickly took in the situation. Surprise momentarily flitted across his face. Aaka was going against Hydras? The brute dropped the thought. Why she was doing this, he didn't need to know. All he needed to know and make sure of was that Crucified and Enola were safe, for White Tip's sake. His lips quivered while a warning snarl escaped from his cavernous form and locked eyes with Hydras. He pushed past her and gently caught Enola's scruff in his jaws and pulled her into the doorway and looked over at the fuming Aaka, trying to prompt her to move. He carefully released Enola and looked down at Crucified then back up the alpha femme.

"Aaka, I don't mean to ruin your gracious mood, but his life is on the line and time is of the essence."

Blazed did not try to sound like a smart ass or anything, he was here to make sure Crucified made it out alive and the torn and tattered alpha male did not look like he could withstand much more. All of them needed to work together now more than ever and killing someone who might make the difference in the end might not be the smartest move. Quickly then, he caught up Enola again and made his way carefully to the Woodland Farm. He did not want to over stay his welcome, or lack there of, and test the already tried patience of Hydras.

Aaka

Her eyes bore into Hydras's for a moment and she said in her cool winter voice, no emotion showing "They are under my control now. I will look into their pack now and again and make sure they hold true to their word." Her eyes flashed to both Silverfur and Lykos. "And you two, watch your step. Angering the Shadows isn't what you could call a smart thing to do." Her eyes scanned the area and she said solely to Hydras now "Speaking of Sasha and Bullet where are they?" It was dangerous for the two to be out alone. Aaka picked up Crucified again and groaned in effort as she dragging him away, as carefully as she could.

Hydras

A deep growl threatened when Blazed entered the den and snatched Enola away. In a different setting, she would have gone for his throat after such a bold move, but this time she only gave him the growl and glared into his eyes. Now was not the time to be creating more enemies, even if he was the spawn of one of her oldest rivalaries. Without speaking to him, she looked back to Aaka, raising her head a bit, "You are my friend Aaka, and I respect you. But these are my pack members, and I will deal with them." She said, in defense of Lyckos and Silverfur, while trying to keep cool with the white alphess. Then her eyes took on a look of concern; she didn't see Sasha. She knew Bullet was gone with Fallen, but where did the new mother go?

"Great..." She hissed out, looking around quickly. With relief, she spotted the pups; so at least they were here and safe. "Has anyone seen Sasha?" Hydras asked, not willing to leave the Den at this moment to search for her. After all, for all she knew the enemies could still be lurking close by and waiting to strike the pups again.

Silverfur

Silverfur growled at the bird. " Shut up your worthless dog." Silverfur grumbled to Blazed, even though it was only he how heard himself. Silverfur looked at Hydras and shook his cut face. " Nope, maybe I can scent her. I have a great sense of smelling" Silverfur looked around waiting for Hydras' answer.
