Phelan
The runt of Aaka & Legosa's litter came scrambling into the den, ears and tail pasted back and eyes wide with panic. "Please, my pack needs help! We're being attacked!" He yipped out, peering into the darkness, hoping there was someone here that could help him.
Suki and Kuro
The two Hybrid were settled in the corner and were shocked when a pup came scrambling into the den. They smelt like one of Aakas pups. Immediately they stood and Kuro came bounding over.
Its ok little one, We shall help you. Suki where's Hydras Aaka is in trouble?!
His mate came over to them both.
I do not know Kuro.
The male looked at the pup.
Come with me. I'll come with you now. Suki go and tell Hydras Aaka is in trouble.
Suki nodded and exited the den.
Kuro looked to the pup.
Lead the way.
Sweetclover & Phelan
Phelan was shivering with fear as he looked up at the two, "T-there's a fight at our p-pack! I don't know who i-it is." He began to exit the den, ready to lead Kuro to the Silver Glades.
A second adolescent came bounding into the den, a few minutes after Phelan had arrived. It was his sister, Sweetclover. "Phelan! There you are!" She barked, the dipped her head as she spotted Kuro, seeing that he was going to following her brother back, "The attackers are gone now. They have a pack scent though, so they must live around here somewhere." For her young age, Sweetclover was rather quick-minded and intelligent, "I'm not sure who they are, but maybe we should track their scent and see where they live. They are enemies to us both."
Phelan began to whimper a little as his sister said all of this. The last thing he wanted to do was go and get into another fight.
Ninaki & Black Feather
Ninaki was on his way back when he caught sight of Sweetclover rushing through the alleyways. He quietly trailed her until they reached the Den, where he listened carefuly to her words. "That is a good idea, but I don't know if your parents would approve of you two going on such a task." The beta replied, looking over Sweetclover and seeing the wound she carried on her muzzle. Along with the scent of the offensive hybrid that left it.
Black Feather perched himself on the edge of a broken-out window, quietly observing.
Kuro
He had been about to follow Phelan to Silver Glades, but his sister soon appared on the scene. He listened to what she had to say, very clever she was indeed, and he was about to express his view when Ninaki appeared. Dipping his crown in respect for the Beta, The dog listened to him.
I agree, Maybe it would be best if you two stayed out of trouble and left it up to us to find this pack.
Skeil
With a bit of blood on her muzzle from the recent execution of Zira, Skeil approached the group with a serious expression. It had been a grim task to end the life of a former pack member, but the pit bull trusted her alpha's decision. Now there was a new problem.
With her head carried at the proper position for her rank, she arrived in time to catch what Sweetclover said, and felt a bit of relief. At least the danger was gone for the moment, though it sounded like they just gained some new enemies. "Hydras is busy, but the three of us could probably track them." Skeil suggestioned, looking from Kuro to Ninaki. "They don't know our scent yet, and hopefully don't know our alliance with Aaka's pack. Maybe we could get so far as to speak with them and learn their strengths and weaknesses."
Sweetclover & Phelan
Sweetclover nodded in understanding. Aaka probably wouldn't approve of it anyway, although Legosa would. But he wasn't the best 'father material' out there. "Thank you for helping. And be careful; I think they have quite a few in their pack." Nudging her brother again, she lead him out of the Den, and back to the Silver Glades.
Kuro
The hybrid nodded.
I agree, Shall we go then?
He said, looking from Skeil to Ninaki.
Skeil & Pirqua
"Right." The pit replied, a light of eagerness flaring in her dark eyes. "Lets get to it!" She turned for the door and slipped out, running fast. But before she got far, a falcon intercepted her.
Pirqua had taken leave of the group in order to seek out Sequoia. In the process, she came across another hybrid; a large one. The two had gone to the Pyrola Fields, where the new enemies were, on a spying mission. The peregrine falcon landed in front of Skeil, fanning her wings out for emphasis, "Sequoia and a stranger have already gone there! It looks like they're heading northwest, to one of those packlands that boarder the Croal Mountains. I imagine she's wanting to infiltrate the pack, so we should hang out nearby and wait. Our presence might foil their plan." Little did she know that things weren't going so smoothly with Lyckos and Sequoia. "Follow me, and we can provide backup if needed."
Skeil didn't question Pirqua, who would have a very high pack ranking if she were a canine. With a glance back to Kuro and Ninaki, the dog followed the falcon.
Ninaki
He was uncertain about this talk of a stranger escorting Sequoia. An even better reason to be close at hand in case something went wrong. Speaking nothing, the hybrid followed after Skeil and Pirqua.
