Chance
The brown and white b.itch padded slowly. She had just entered the factory, not really knowing what was inside. There were other dogs, she was sure of that. Slight swagger was shown as she loped up to pipe and leaped over it. She looked up, and found she could see through the cieling. The floor was littered with various sizes of boxes and tools. Knocking over one of the boxes, Chance found a bone, and it still had meat on it. Not caring who it belonged to, she began to tear the shreds of meat of it.
Satan and Vitani
Satan was just about to settle down, to rest and recover from the fight they had just had, when his nose filled with an unknown scent. Lifting his head, he sniffed again and his mind instantly went to "Enemy Spy". Growling softly, He stood up and followed the scent to where Chance lay, chewing on the bone of meat. His daughter, Vitani, followed her father quickly and stood beside him as he confronted the intruder. Satan growled deeply, baring his wolfish fangs at Chance, his eyes locked with hers.
Who are you and what are you doing here? Speak quickly and truthfully or you'l die a painful death. This is the land of the Shadow Lurkers.
Harsh maybe if she was just a passer-by, but he couldnt take any chances with this war now over and the enemy sour over their loss. He tucked his neck incase the female did try an attack, as did Vitani, but the pack were only a call away and he was pretty sure Hydras would probably turn up anyway. Satan turned his head to Vitani and nodded in the direction of the Aegis den. Vitani understood and turned, jogging into the den and slowly making her way to Hydras. Dipping her head slightly in respect to the Alphess, Vitani spoke.
Hydras, there is a hybrid not too far from here. My father is there, he thought you might want to know.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Dally
Hydras was just sprinting towards the opposite end of the factory when Vitani intercepted her. "Dally has told me, but I'm glad that you two have already come across it." Behind her came Bullet and Skeil, their previous exhaustion replaced by defensive intent.
Weaving past debris and various structures, the alphess came upon the scene at hand, with Satan confronting Chance. With her bloodied hackles bristled up, Hydras growled deeply, "You are trespassing on the Den of the Shadow Lurkers. Explain yourself, quickly!" A faint nod was giving to Satan, a gesture that she wanted him to continue with her and help interrogate this stranger.
Bullet placed himself between Chance and the exit, ready to keep another prisoner if need be.
Skeil circled slowly around the group, adding further barricade.
Then a forth Lurker showed up. Dally glided in from one of the second story windows, flying carefully in the dark to avoid striking anything. He landed on a nearby box, "We don't see anyone else out there. It seems she's alone."
Fallen
As Hydras ran to the intruder, Fallen ran behind the rest. Hyrdas' words were picked up and she found an open spot in the circle and closed it. Crimson orbs held the animal in check. Hackles raised and fangs shown she began a soft growl, but her stance was the most submissive out of all. Even so she wouldn't let Chance escape if she tried.
Chance
Chance growled sotly as she was surrounded by the pack who obviously resided here. She wasn't growling in defense, just because she had been taken by suprise. She stepped away from the bone. Ok so her life was in danger now. What to do.
"Name's Chance. Yes I am here alone. Didn't realise anyone lived here."
She cocked her head to one side, trying to look cute. Ha. As if she could ever be cute.
"Maybe you can answer some of my questions. Why are you so uptight about me trespassing? Well?"
Satan and Vitani
Satan growled deeply and returned the nod his alphess gave him when she arrived. He began to advance on her when she dared to question Hydras and the others and snapped his fangs close to her side, barely millimeters from her hide.
You dont ask the questions here pup.
He slowly moved back so that he was behind Hydras in respect but not so far that the circle was broken, just by a few centimeters, still baring his wolfish jaws and fangs at Chance, a malicious glint in his eye.
What brings you to our land? Speak quickly or you wont have a head to reply or beg from at all.
Vitani joined the fray after Hydras and the others, after delievering her message to the already informed alphess. Taking a place by her father, making the circle ever tighter, Vitani growled and she too bore her fangs to the intruder.
Fallen
She trembled slightly, torn by both a motherly instinct and the instinct to stay and protect the pack. She knew the dog probably wasn't that old and didn't know what she was doing. Satan's words only made her confusion worse. She shouldn't be attacked if she wasn't making any threats. Risen would have thought opposite. But still, she kept up her growling and made sure the dog wouldn't escape.
Sasha
A dark growl could be heard as the doberman stalked towards the group. She had been in a foul mood since they had gotten back from the eskers. She stood defensivly next to Bullet. Her fur bristled and her ears were pinned back, lips curled in a silent snarl. Sasha wasnt one to be reckoned with when angry that was for sure. She had learned from the best how to take her anger out.....None of them would prove very well for Chance.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Dally
Hydras drew her snarling muzzle closer to Chance's face, not at all taken by the cuteness or her young age. "Listen whelp, you're in our domain now. For your sake, you'd better hope you answer my questions right. Now, where did you come from? Do you have friends or relatives?"
Unlike his sister, Bullet once again felt pity for the unknown canine. He couldn't possibly stand up in front of his sister right now and defend Chance, for it looked like most of the pack backed her up on this one. He only hoped that she cooperated.
Skeil narrowed her eyes, "She's a spy. They sent in a young pup, thinking they could fool us!" It was only a guess of course, but that little statement just made things very bad for Chance.
Unknown
the silver huntress limped into the den her chassis dropping to the dirt covered flow on the steps she was so tired and her paw was getting infected.
Risen
Gray she-devil spotted Unknown out of the corner of her eye. She gave a glance to Suki and stood. Joints popped on the way up but, she only growled at the annoying sound. It wasn’t of old age, but because of her injuries and how V.estige had held her down. Oh how she -loathed- him. She would get her revenge. She would make sure of it.
Her sights were set on Unknown as she made her way toward the femme. Deep pools of pure gold stared like an endless void to the wolf. She was silent as she made her way in the shadows, yellow eyes seemed to float in the air as she moved. Only when the light was able to reach her fur could the rest of her ghostly body be seen as it seemed to slowly make its way to the female.
Sooner than one could expect, Risen was standing next to Unknown. Her bloody neck was healing just fine for how damaged it was. Sharp spheres stared into Unknown’s eyes, demanding she knew who was head over her. Then she glanced down, looking at the paw, only a cold expression was given. "Go lay down with the others who are wounded. " Her eyes flicked to the group, the pack seemed to have the dog under control. If the dog were to cause anymore trouble, Risen would help. Then she turned to the falcon that was on the ground, Mesa. " Don’t worry about the others, they should have things under control." She growled lightly and began to head to Hydras.
Slowly stopping only inches from the group, she hissed to Hydras. " Do you want me to take her down?" Her neck lifted, proving to herself and the others that it was good enough to fight something weak. Then lowered to her height in command. Yellow eyes glaring Chance right in the eye. " My fangs want some blood, V.estige could not satisfy their cravings, please let me take on this pup..." snarls came from her lips as she arched down a bit, ready to attack. Hackles rose as she wished to be allowed to murder. Only on Hydras’ word would she attack. This dog showed no respect, and she was ready to teach it a lesson.
Immortal
Immortal limped over as Risen left and sat next to Unknown her bright eyes watching the wolf closely. Uncertainly she said her eyes never straying from Unknown "Shouldnt we take her to the Lady? Her wounds dont look so good." She didnt want to anger anyone but she really did care about what happened to another even if they werent on her side. She didnt know if she was going to be allowed to live or not but this time...This one time she could help in any way possible.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Dally
As Hydras was mulling over Skeil's previous words, she took time to listen to Risen's offer. With the thoughts of Yersina, Kenyon, and Jet's death fresh on her mind, Hydras didn't care one way or another if this stranger lived or died. "Spy." The alphess hissed, echoing her friend's suggestion before turning to Risen, "We still need some answers out of her. But, you could use your fangs to work those answers out of her." Torture; yes, that is what it had come down to in such a quick amount of time. Immortal's words drew aggitation in the alphess, although it also brought her to realize that Unknown wasn't in the best of shapes. "Quiet prisoner! Dally, see to Unknown."
Bullet was taken aback by the offer as well as his sister's reply. Torture? To a pup? It was beyond him, but again, he couldn't go against the pack. Loyalty always. Besides... maybe she was a spy...? Now Bullet was taken by the possibility.
Skeil remained silent now, no pity showing in her usually kind eyes. Those dear to her had been slain, and she held no remorse for those who were not family, and especially those who just might be a threat.
Dally took leave of his perch and glided down to Unknown. Normally, Hydras would be making decisions like this, decided wether one needed to go to the Farm or not. But a possible threat was being dealt with, so the falcon did the best he could. "Erm, I could guide you to the Farm, if you'd like. My father can go with me, and we will scout for danger. That is, if you want to go."
Unknown
se looked to Immortal and was taken aback by Hybras and the others as Dally came to her she rose and limped painfully forward her silver pelt covered in blood her own and others. The pack was small her silver gaze drifting over the others she lowered her skull as he gaze moved to Hybras.
Hybras I am asking you to reconsider. I don't see her as a threat at this moment. There are others out there that have dones us more harm than she. She was just a pawn. I ask your premission to watch after her myself and get any information out of her my way. I grew up judging others a threats in the pit I can tell at this moment she is not. I will not defy your choice but I am asking
She couldn't hold her weight anymore the infection was spreading and it took so much out of her that she lost her balance and collasped on the floor she breathed heavily but slowly pulled herself back together and rose again she wasn't gonna stop fighting.
Immortal
She let out a soft growl as Hydras snapped out in anger. As Unknown spoke she looked to her and did something she had never done before. She defied an alphas orders. "Aya! Lets go Unknown." Even though injured Immortal wanted to help her 'friend'. If Sasha was in a bad mood then she would help. Dark shadows were in her eyes and a pain seemed hidden some where. She hated going against someones wishes and she knew she would be punished. But she really, really wanted to help. Gently she licked Unknowns wounds and began to limp towards the entrance then turned and looked back to see if Unknown was following. She was support for the fae, not a good support but support none the less.
Unknown
Oh she was gonna pay for this when she was well she could feel all the eyes upon her as let her gaze slip from Hybras she was defying her alphas she was loyal she was really but then again torture wasn't something Unknown wanted for anyone she had grow up with it and it still burned into her mind. She wanted to wait for Hybras to reply but for now she had to get help she knew it she followed Immortal not placing all her weight upon her just enough to keep her up she was feeling dizy this had to be more than an infection or was she just that bad of? The world swam but she stayed up right.
Hydras, Bullet, Skeil, & Dally
Hydras growled quietly, struggling to keep her temper in check, "Yersinia, Kenyon, and Jet are dead, lest you forget that. I won't jeapordize the safety of my pack on the accounts of some ignorant whelp. Life isn't fair." The alphess flashed her eyes momentarily to Chance before looking back to Unknown. Then her orbs narrowed at Immortal, "And no enemy is going to escort one of our pack members anywhere. Bullet, you and Dally will escort her. As for you Immortal, my tolerance is wearing dangerously thin."
Bullet cringed mentally at tensions rose around him. Hydras was under more stress than she cared to admit, and it was showing in her rage right now. Breaking rank from the circle, he sauntered towards Unknown, letting his eyes relay a message of appolgy for his sister's words. "We'd better get going." The hybrid said quietly, then began to head for the Woodland Farm, moving slow for Unknown to keep up and providing support if she needed it.
Dally flew silently after.
Hydras continued to struggle with her emotions, her lips writhing back more and exposing her curved fangs, "Immortal, you are no member of this pack. You'd be dead by now if we had slain Eternal." Turning her back on the prisoner, the alphess looked back to Risen and nodded, "Do what you must with her. We need answers, but if she has none, then she is no use to use; dead or alive."
Even Skeil found her good friend a bit frightening right now. It was true that Hydras was extremely loyal when it came to her pack and family, but to kill a youngster, and one that was most likely just an innocent stray...
Aaka
Aaka passed Immortal and a dark growl rose from her but she continued to Hydras. A dark chuckle escaped from her maw and she said in her most sinister tone "well well Hydras. I never knew you could be so cruel." Something was wrong in the alphess's eyes, for every now and again she would glance away towards the ecit and her hackles would raise. She had currently lost one of her pups. Well two really. Faute was no where to be found and Aila to had gone missing. A dark growl rose from the mother as she realized neither were here but she stayed where she was offering her support to her allies. Softly she hissed "Eternal can not be slain and even if she were, it would bring nothing to us. She is just another enemy and Immortal there is of no use to her. She to like Unknown said, is just a pawn in Eternal and Forsakens sick little game. But now Forsaken is dead. If we take her down it would be another victory for us yes. But not much for us." She stared into the females eyes no fear coming from her but she was the first to glance away and towards the door. Storm Warning was alive this she knew. It angered the alphess that he was still around and had caused so much pain and torment in his time gone.
Ninaki & Black Feather
The beta remained quiet during the confrentation, and instead of joining the circle around Chance, he had placed himself near the entrance that she had used, further hindering any attempt she made at escape, while utilizing the view to watch for any intruders. If things had been different, his feelings would have been with Fallen and Unknown, but not this time. Not after loosing his sister, mate, a son, and a daughter. Room for justice and pity had krept slowly from his heart, leaving room only for his pack now.
Unknown
As Bullet came to her aid she pulled away from him she didn't trust males much only her brother who was still locked in the pit. Her brought brought new feelings she looked to the duo of prisoners a helpless stray and Immortal she felt for them both Hybras was going to kill them she could feel it in her bones as Aaka came into the scene and spoke her views only slightly with Unknown and Fallen she knew Bullet was over her but she just couldn't bring her silver chassis to stand beside him. She swayed once last attempt was made with Hybras.
Hybras I came here searching for lessons you have given my many but the main one was trust and justice. I am for this pack and I proved more than enough in the last few days that I am loyal to you and everyone in this room but killing these too now can bring us more trouble than we have. Who knows were the pup comes from or his family? They might be a strong pack that will seek revenge once they found out he was dead or being harmed. Hold him here till I can find where he comes from at least. We lost some great members in this battle lets not possibly provoke another that could be avoided.
Hydras, Skeil, Mesa, & Pirqua
She held Aaka's gaze until the alpha looked away to the door, "Eternal's death will bring me personal victory. I blame her for all that has happened, and I will not let the deaths of my family go unnavenged." Hydras didn't want to quarrel with her greatest ally however, so she held off with her thoughts. Before she could ask what brought Aaka hear, Unknown spoke up again. Anger rose in her at first, until the last few lines were said. There, she did have a good point.
Skeil lifted her head a bit, caught off guard by that prospect; it was so obvious! Uncertain, she looked to Hydras.
The alpha remained silent a moment, "You are right about the whelp." She looked to the rest of her pack, "We will take her to the third floor and keep her in a room there, until we can figure out who she is and where she belongs. Immortal will be taken up there as well, but in a different room." Satisfied with these new arrangements, she nodded to Unknown, "Head to the Woodland Farm now; we will be there to check on you tomorrow." Now Hydras lowered her voice to a whisper and spoke quietly to Risen again, "If we find the whelp is a spy, you can finish her off. But first, we must be sure she isn't from a large pack that could pose a threat to us."
Ninaki & Black Feather
Ninaki came forward now, filling the gap that Bullet had left, "I'll take Chance up." The beta past into the circle, approaching the pup with an uncertain but cold gaze before he reached down to grab her scruff.
Unknown | White Noise
White Noise:
the black hunter entered he had not been in the battle for he was engaging in his own Black Frye was wanting the lands he held he had come here quicly to report to Hybras he larger chassis lingering in the back before coming forward ignoring Aaka he had long ago gotten over her he had a new interest someone much darker but if Black Frye won it would be over.
Hybras news flash Fresca and the others have vanished. One of their own is dead one called Cherry. I must retreat the lands I hold are being challenged for one called Black Frye I think she knows you Aaka
Unknown:
She saw her dear friend enter the room but wasn't able to rush to him like she might have used to. As her thought seemed to strick a point in the ones around she glanced to Chance her features saying I hope for your sake your not a spy. Was she getting weak? She would have killed teh duo before her a long time ago.
i shall go now thank you for listening Hybras I hate to see more members lost.
She moved to Bullet not to close she wasn't the trusting type mainly towards males.
Aaka
As White Noise came in a flash came to the alphess's eyes but she beat it back. Once more she wondered what it would be like if she had chosen White Noise instead of Legosa. Would she go back against her mate? No never. But a mother couldnt help but wonder. As he spoke of Black Fyre she froze. "Yeah I know her. Shes been a resident in my pack for a little while now. I had no idea she was off challenging someone for their lands." Little did she know Abamacho had found lands as well and not far from Moon Spirit either.
White Noise
That she is I must part and met her. She claims the lands belong to her. Aaka lets put the past behind us I am sorry for the rude way I have treated you. We are allies now
He rose to leave his voids dull as he thought of the battle black frye was angry about the lands for some reason
Hydras, Skeil, Mesa, & Pirqua
Hydras nodded to White Noise as he entered, though her attention never faded completely from the whelp. "If you need any help holding your lands, you know you can count on us." Her voice was strong and certain, but behind the confident facade, she was concealing a weary dread. A fight was not something her pack needed at the moment, though a single female wasn't all that much trouble to defeat.
White Noise
he smiled to Hybras and spoke quickly to get back to his lands.
I am fairing well for now. Fresca is missing from my lands only two of her pack members are there Yanis and Cherry. They have been missing for some time so I thought I should warn you
Satan and Vitani
The duo were getting tired and also slightly agitated at the pups lack of words. Each gave and to White Noise and the others as they each joined the gathering around Chance. At the words of Fresca, Satan looked from Chance to Hydras as if asking "Why would they go, and if they have gone, where?". Vitani stopped her growling but continued to glare at Chance as if she was a peice of dirt that needed disposing of.
Risen
She growled in dissapointment, then turned her tiny frame to 'escort' the prisoners to their cells. Following behind Immortal as she led her to he 'room'. " Com'on little doggy." She hissed and bit at the feas honches to make sure she was moving. "Get up!" She snarled forcing the fea to get to the room. She was no longer taking shit. Her cold heart had been soft for longer than she wished it to be. However, she only had a few lines to question to the fea. Same with Chance. If anyone else had questions, she would just be the one to bully... or beat the answer out.
