Skeil
The white dog headed down a stretch of broken road, where the surrounded houses and stores looked almost ghostly in their deteriorating states. Of all the places in the human town, this was the most run down area. Skeil lead the others, whom ever had followed her, to a tall building with a gaping hole in one side. The hole itself was positioned about two feet from the ground, so Skeil had to jump through it.
On the first floor, there was a good deal of light that cast in through the windows, a drifts of snow here and there from the broken out glass. Padding quietly across the ground, Skeil minced past a lone canine skull and headed to a staircase in the far back. There, a pile of scattered bison bones lay on the ground, from the first time the Lurkers took refuge in the place.
"Well, this is it." She said, grinning a bit. "There are only two enterances. The hole I came through, and the door over there." As she mentioned it, Skeil nodded to the heavy metal door that was opened just enough to allow the passage of a canine. "There are rooms upstairs with bedding, if you want a warm place to sleep. There is a third floor, much the same. And you can get to the rooftop as well; it makes a great place to lookout for approaching danger."
Skeil, Bullet, & Jet-Wing
Bullet approached the building and sprung through the hole, landing neatly inside. Jet-Wing was jarred off his friend at the sudden leap, and narrowly missed whacking his head on the top of the hole. Flapping to the ground, the falcon hopped towards a nearby staircase and fluttered up to the railing, where he began to fixed up his mussed feathers.
Bullet turned back to the hole, waiting for Sasha and Demon. "Skeil, you'll never guess who I've brought along..."
Skeil looked curiously from Bullet to the hole, having no clue who he might be speaking about. But she could tell from his excitement that it must be someone pretty special.
Demon
He continued to follow Bullet and Jet. Upon arriveing he waited for bullet and Jet to go through the hold before he proceeded two as well, kicking off the ground leaping through and landing on his feet. He would wag his tail a bit as he walked over to where Skeil and Bullet were. "Long time no see Skeil." was the first thing he said. So far things were going good, he had goten to see Skeil and Bullet once again. He sat upon his hind legs.
Ninaki & Kenyon
Ninaki came padding along the dingy sidewalk that led along side the Aegis Den. His tongue was lolling out as he panted heavily from a long run. He had nearly gotten caught by the Alley pack out at Galar's Marsh, but had learned a bit of useful information from the encounter. As he neared the old factory, his son showed up, as he often did, and walked beside his father. Kenyon was very large, dwarfing Ninaki.
Ninaki sprung through the hole first, followed closely by Kenyon. The beta stopped short though, spotting Demon. For a moment he looked stupified, then a big grin washed over his brown-black muzzle. "Hey, it's good to see you again! When did you show up?"
Kenyon stood beside his dad, not recognizing the other wolf at first, He was only a pup when he last saw Demon. But at hearing the name, he too recognized the former member and gave an enthusiastic bark, "Demon! Welcome back!" For his enormous size, Kenyon was no more than a big teddy bear. His size and strength were a great boon for the Lurkers, but his soft personality didn't lend itself well to fighting. Still, when his family was in danger, Kenyon fought without question.
Demon
Demon perked his ears slightly at the sound of another coming and glanced over seeing Ninaki and Kenyon. A grin would appear once more as he recognized both instantly, also noticing how big Kenyon had gotten. "It is good to see you both as well, thank you." He replied to both of them before glancing to Ninaki to answer the second part of his question. "Not to long ago. I just arrived actually." he continued to wag his tail but Demon did seem calm and cool as he had been before the dissaperance, though it was clear that he was glad to be back.
Sasha
She melted into the shadows watching the newcomer and the others greet him with warm words and kindness. She smiled at them as she laid down watching them all with warm loving eyes that were touched with sadness. Watching all of them brought back many hard memories for the doberman. Sasha gazed around her only being to this den once before that being when she had gotten her leg broken.
I tried so hard and Got so Far But in the End It Does Even Matter
Unknown
the silver fea hald back letting the others meet this new hunter unsure if she should barge in.
Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Yersinia, & Falcons
"Demon!" The pit cried in a bark that echoed against the factory's cold walls. She sprung towards him, giving the wolf a happy lick under his muzzle. It was both a sign her friendly greeting, and a showing of respect, for she saw him as an 'alpha' figure.
It wasn't long before Hydras returned, her demeanor dark and forboding prior to reaching the factory. But once she hit upon the trail of the others, a very familiar scent came to her that wiped away the dark aura that seemed to surround her. In fact, she seemed positively stunned as her mind worked over that subtle odor that she knew so well, and so longed to take in. Her paws carried her like the wind over the snow-strewn cement as she made for the Aegis den. With a powerful and acurate spring of her limbs, the alphess sailed gracefully through the hole and landed inside, where her eyes instantly sought out the one who she had quickened her pace. As her fierce, yellow orbs fell upon Demon, Hydras bore a rare smile. The past year's anguish melted away from her and she leapt for him. Instinctively, Skeil and Bullet backed off to give their leader space. And Hydras did another rare act; she offered the brute a nuzzle. "I can hardly believe it is you." She whispered, then regained her composure somewhat and took a very small step back. The smile grew faint, but it shown even more brightly in her determined orbs. "You couldn't have come at a better time, Demon. War is upon us." And at this, her smile transformed into a triumphant grin, for she lived for fighting and protecting her land and pack.
Yersina entered next, having just gotten some information from White Noise. She sprung lightly through the hole and gaped in amazement at seeing Demon. But, being a heck of a lot more stuck up than her siblings, Yersinia didn't offer him quite the warm greeting as the others did. Instead she placed herself in the background and offered him a 'friendly' smile.
Bullet laid down by Sasha and whispered to her, "Things are looking good for us, huh? As long as we survive these two battles, we'll have it made!" He was feeling rather light-spirited and invinsible. Still, he had no clue about how many allies Eternal had. But at the moment, he was not afraid at least.
Demon
He offered Skeil a smile for her greeting but then froze as soon as he caught Hydra's scent. Immidiatly his amber eyes went to the hole, or in otherwords the entrance. He returned the nuzzle to Hydras and gae her an affectionate lick on her face happy as ever to see her again. "Forgive me for being gone so long." He said in a quieter voice to Hydras. he knew she was happy but he had still felt the need for the apology. Hearing more news of the upcoming war he gave a nod his smile fading soon after Hydra's did, that cool, calm, yet slightly devious expression coming upon him. He'd be sure to show the enimies no mercy, as he did before he dissapeered. He gave a greeting nod to Yersina seeing her in the backround and a greeting nod to Unknown though he did not know the fae. His attention now went back to Hydras.
Satan, Vitani, Zira, Kuro and Suki
The five had followed the scents of the pack and found them here.
Satan arrived first, a smile upon his features.
He was closely followed by Vitani, Kuro and Suki.
Zira followed slowly behind, still angry at the fact her daughter prefered Satan to her.
As the five came upon the group the each stopped and looked at Hydras and Demon. None had met the new wolf, They had no clue as to who he was.
Satan shuffled over towards Skeil.
Who's he?
His muzzled pointed in the direction of Demon.
The other just stood around the edges watching. Satan and Vitani knew about Eternal but had left before she stated war.
The other three hadn't a clue what had been going on, they had missed the alliance with the Midnight hunters, Unknown joining and the war.
Basically the group were clueless yet they still offered smiles to Demon and Hydras.
Aaka
A loud snarl could be heard as Aaka leaped through the hole and into the den. She saw Demon and nodded to him not honestly caring who he was. She stalked to Hydras her fur standing in every direction. It was apparent that the white alphess was angry.
"Haunted tells me that you have recently met Eternal. I want her dead Hydras for she is no ally. Immortal....Immortal can live or die it matters not to me. With Eternal out of the way we should have a better chance." She gazed around her taking in the den and said softly "Nice place. Hydras....I want you to know that she will target both you and me. Shes going to target all alphas in this and take them out. Its an effective plan but we cant do it because we have no clue who their alpha is. I can tell you though that there will be another cougar involved in this." She heard a soft growl behind her and turned.
Sasha stood and limped to Aaka. "We cant kill Immortal! She has nothing to do with any of this. She just listens to her sister so that she doesnt kill her." Sasha watched as one of their best allys eyes narrowed and immediatly fear went through her.
"Just because she was your friend in another life time does not mean she is now Sasha. Go back to your mate and stay out of this." Aaka turned back to Hydras watching her through bright yellow orbs that danced with demons and the unknown.
Sasha growled and stalked as best she could back to Bullet. She layed down next to him still growling softly fear for her once friend coursing through her. If Immortal died.....Sasha shook her head. Aaka was right. Wolves changed. Immortal didnt give a whit about her now.
Hydras, Skeil, Bullet, Yersinia, & Falcons
Hydras instantly knew who the snarl belonged to, so she turned calmly towards her ally, after giving a smile to Demon, showing him that there were no hard feelings against him. "I'm afraid I have indeed met her." The hybrid responded, an almost grave tone in her voice as she listened to Aaka speak. She grinned a bit at the comment on the factory, then added a bit more on the subject of Eternal, "I have the falcons posted as sentries here; no one enters the Alleys during the day without me knowing it now. Nighttime is a different story though... that's when we're a bit more vulerable." Hydras trailed off, thinking about Aaka's saftey for a moment, "Would it suit you to have a falcon or two at your terra, until Eternal and her followers are dealt with?"
Skeil listened intently as the two spoke, then looked to Satan, "Ah, he's an old friend of ours. Use to be a part of our pack, but he disappeared about a year back. Demon's his name."
Bullet gave a sympathetic smile to Sasha, and thumped his tail on the ground. "I once saved an enemy, when her life could have been ended in a flash by my own jaws. The hybrid thought back to that day, when a huge flood swept through the area. The very first time they had come to this factory. His first 'love', who was an enemy to the pack, had been found on their land. Dream was her name, though it didn't matter any more, for he loved Sasha. That, and the fact that Dream had died about a year ago. Boy, had Hydras laid into him for that one... not only did he not kill Dream, but he dragged her out of the flood waters, where she would have otherwise drowned. Bullet mentally swept away the thought. "Sometimes, you should go against the will of your leader, if you know what is best." He whispered quietly, so that his sister would not hear him.
Yersinia boldly walked forward now, ignoring an angry glare by her aunt, "We could keep your pups safe here, if anyone should attack your land." The hybrid pointed out, looking to Aaka. Hydras looked thoughtfully to her ally now, "That's true. In fact, we've yet to see the little ones." Hydras gave somewhat of a grin, though she knew this was still a very serious matter. "We will aide you how ever we can."
Demon
A small nod was given as he now listened after seeing Aaka enter, though he wasn't too sure who she was he remained silent. He had noticed others enter as well but paying little mind to them for now concentraiting on the words spoken. Of course he wasn't fully sure about what they were talking about, of course since he had been gone so long, but he figured it had something to do with the upcoming war, or along the lines of that. A calm expression remained now as he glanced around at the others then back to Hydra and Aaka.
Risen .+. Fallen
Risen trotted in, over some obsticales and into the den. Yellow globes straight and serious as she caught the last bit of the conversation. Fur bounced with her septs then swung to a hault as she neared Hydras and the others. Hackles rose as she spotted Demon, but everyone seemed to be ok with him, and she gave not growls. Just a shake of the head, unknowing his place compared to her.
Audettes caught The recomendation from their pack and cleared her own throat. " If i could make a suggestion..." She quieted until she got Hydras's attention. " Why not have her pack live here in this den and these lands for safety procautions." Globes wandered the large factory and it's space then looked back down. " The pups would be safe here with pack members always guarding. Or We could split out packs evenly, Send equil birds for relaying messages. And she can stay in her land." She lowered her head. Signaling respect to the alphess. The her tail was at her positional height. She personally believed larger numbers, better chances. But it was not her's to decide.
---------
Black shadow filed into the room, when she spotted the group her head quickly sank to her feet and tail darted between her legs. Staggering up to the group, she stayed behind them, listening to what they had to say. She couldn't think of anything herself. She just mentally agreed with every other thing everyone had to say. Eyes wondered up to Demon, holding her ears back unsure, but then relaxing knowing he was no particular threat.
