Demon

He would pad down an alley thinking to himself as he did. It had been so long since he had been here but he haden't abandoned everyone... no. His stature was still strong and well built as he glanced around, fur blending with the darkness. Demon lifted his maw into the air sniffing the scents around unsure if his absence would be forgiven. He had missed the pack and hoped that they had strived without him. He sat and let out a long howl into the stale air of the alley waiting to see if any would answer or come.

Bullet & Jet Wing

Bullet has been waiting around with his 'mate', or that's what he hoped was the case, when he heard the howl. Hydras had just departed to round up some allies for a possible war, though she would be in for a great surprise upon her return!

Bullet came racing down the nearest alley way, but kept looking back to make sure Sasha could keep up with her leg. Upon spotting Demon, Bullet skidded to a halt, blinking his eyes in half disbelief. Could it really be? A grinning smile worked its way over the hybrid's lengthy muzzle and he could hardly keep his tail from quivering in excitement, "Demon! Is that truely you!?"

Jet-Wing, son to Pirqua and Black Feather, landed on Bullet's back. "Say who's that? I surely don't know him!"

But Bullet didn't hear his friend's words, and waited eagerly for Demon's reply, making sure that his senses really weren't tricking him.

Demon

Demon would perk up his ears and find himself wagging his tail as he saw a familiar face. He gave a nod to Bullets question and walked over to him glancing toward's Jet-wing briefly whom he did not know then back to Bullet. "It's been so long. I apologize for my long absence Bullet.. I never should have vanished for so long." He explained calmly but did smile however. "How have you been? And what of Hydras, Kirra, and the rest of the pack?" He asked cooly maintaining a calm stature though he truley was excited andglad to be back.

Bullet & Jet Wing

Bullet was glad to see Demon was indeed himself; the same cool, calm manner as always. A bit of Bullet's excitement waned as Demon spoke of the other pack members. His eyes shifted downwards a moment, "Narsia has passed... in a fight during the summer." A faint growl echoed his words, for he wanted revenge on the cougar that had slain her. With his head still down, Bullet added on, "Kiarra is also gone; she was wounded... but, we never found... well, a body. She may still be alive." Now he looked up, the grin returning to his face, "Hydras is at the Ranch right now, going to speak with Aidan, I think. There is supposedly going to be a battle of some sort happening. Some femme named Eternal threatened us, but we have no clue how many allies she has."

Bullet shook his head and let his swaying tail come to a stand still. "I think most of the pack is heading to the Aegis Den..." Bullet trailed off, realizing that Demon wouldn't know what he was talking about. "Remember that factory we took shelter in, during the flood? We've taken that as our den and fortress. Hydras named it the Aegis Den. Means something about 'protection'" Bullet shrugged his shoulders a bit.

Jet-Wing hopped about on his friend's back, causing the hybrid to wince as the talons dug into his skin, "Mind catching your breath, Bullet? That's a mouthfull of words you just spat. And mind telling me who this is?"

Bullet laughed a bit at the little peregrine falcon, "Oh, and this is Jet-Wing. One of Pirqua's sons. And about the mouthiest one in the bunch..." Bullet craned his head back as best as he could to give Jet-Wing a raised eye. "This is a very good friend of ours. Demon, as you heard me say."

Demon

He listened and took it all not missing one detail of what was said. His ears would droop slightly hearing that narsia was dead and that Kiarra had vanished. "Hopefully she will return to us then." He would stated calmy remembering Kiarra ever since she had been a pup. He was glad however to hear of Hydra's wel being and he wagged his tail a bit. He paused though hearing of a battle. "A battle? I see." He would try and learn more of this battle later but he was appriciative of the update of whats been going on from Bullet. He gave a nod of acknowledgement, he knew what factory Bullet was talking about. His attention turned to Jet-Wing. "Hmm you don't seem very trusting or paitaint now do you?" He gave a small grin but his tone wasn't threatining just a bit sly. He gave a nod when Bullet described him. "Yes I have been with the Shadow Lurkers for awhile, I go way back to the very day Scila was... killed by the Alley pack. You may not know me for I had vanished for a while but I have returned now." He explained so perhapes Jet-Wing would be more trusting. Yes he remembered most of the events that occured when he had been around all back to that very day when he first met Hydras and the others at Orca Bay, that had been long ago though.

Sasha

Dark brown eyes wavered slightly as the doberman came closer. She could see the happy way that Bullet talked to him so it took away a little bit of her edge. Her eyes flickered to Bullet as she came closer and she said softly "Hi....Am I interupting something?" Her steps were more hesitant as she came closer. The doberman nodded to Jet Wing and she smiled faintly at all of them. She was like Bullet, not mean spirited in any way unless someone threatened her home or family.

Bullet & Jet Wing

Jet-Wing hopped onto Bullet's head now, but the talons were too much for the hybrid, and he batted the bird off. Jet landed on the ground in front of Demon, gazing boldly up at the much larger creature, "Hey, I'm patient!" He defended, though said nothing to remark about his 'trusting' issues.

Bullet laughed a bit, "I don't think you quite fit the patient category there, Jet. But you remember what your mother told you, right? About all those fights?"

Jet rolled his eyes, "Alright, I guess so. Well, she did mention you being at the fight with Scilla and all that." The falcon flew back to Bullet, feeling a bit too vulnerable on the ground.

Bullet shook his head, finding the falcon's attitude more entertaining than anything. And of course, a reliable friend to talk to if you were bored. His attention flickered quickly back to Demon, "Hydras might not appriciate me leading you to the Ranch; er, well, she'd be thrilled to see you of course... but she's a bit strained at the moment. Want to head to the den, and wait for her return there? I'm sure the others will be surprise to see you." Bullet offered.

Demon

Demon gave a small shake of his head but smriked amusued at Jet's pride. He remained silent though watching Bullet and jet speak to one another. He then noticed another he did not know approch, he gave a small shake of his head to answer her question. "Greetings.." He would say calmly before glancing back to Bullet as he had begun to speak. A small nod was all that was given before he parted his maw to say more. "I can wait, I woulden't want to distract her from any buissness she is taking care of at the time. And that sounds good." He would sit awaiting a reply or for Bullet and the others to start heading towards the den. he was pretty sure he remembered where it's location was but he'd follow to be sure.

Bullet & Jet Wing

Bullet's tail began to wag anew when Sasha came up, "Nah, you're not interrupting anything." He stated in an almost gleeful tone. "This is Demon; I'm sure you've heard Hydras mention his name a few times. He use to live with us before you came."

"And this is Sasha." Jet announced with a flutter of his wings, "For those who can't introduce properly!" The falcon added, poking some fun at Bullet, for not saying Sasha's name to Demon.

Bullet put an ear back, now baring a sheepish smile, "Ooops, yeah, this is Sasha." Glad that Demon decided against going to see Hydras at the moment, Bullet turned towards the alleyway that Skeil had gone down not too long ago, "Follow me!" The hybrid saunted off towards the Aegis den.

Demon

He didn't say anything really when Bullet spoke and just gave a nod or two. A small amused grin crossed his features at what was said between Bullet and Jet. Once Bullet turned down an alleyway he stood and followed. In truth he was tempted to go see Hydras but he knew better then running off like a lost little pup. He was paitaint enough to say the least.
