Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

Mezzanotte Cacciatrice

So there we were, 5 wolves and no-where to call home. We entered upon a dingy alley, abandoned, or so it seemed. I was first, followed by my sister Xina. Then by the rest of my small pack. Sxythe and Vandras, two brothers who had been with me for a while, and Chaos, the newest member who was still adjusting to life with us. Oh, and by the way, I'm Domnio, Leader of The Midnight Hunters.

Domnio padded along, dominant as always, his head and tail held high as he looked arond for anything that they could stop near. They had been travelling for days now, only stopping for short periods of time before once again they were off. Finally exhausted Xina trotted up beside her Brother.
Domnio, we need to stop, If we are confronted now we wont be able to defend ourselves as well as we usually could. Please can we just stop.

Now don't take my pack for pushovers. They are anything but. Xina may be the youngest, but she can be a killer, infact she is one. Many have faced us and all have been beaten. Yes, Packlife is hard, but we've got plans, plans to get a home, expand our pack, make alliances and alot more. Who knows...No-one does. Except me and my fellow packmates.

The 5 slowed and stopped near a small cluster of rags. Xina and Chaos lay down, Vandras and Sxythe sitting nearby. Domnio stood looking for anything that he could entertain himself with.

Now, You may think it's surprising that I'm the leader of the pack. What about the others? You say. Dont they want to lead? They might, but they wont, not until I die. Even then, Xina would take the throne. Then if she died either Vandras or Sxythe. But not Chaos, He needs to prove he belongs with us, He needs to prove he's worth our time...My time...

Giving up, Domnio finally came back to his pack. He knew this was his family. Seeing Vandras, Sxythe and Xina together under his rule made his world go round. Without them he wouldn't exist, He wouldn't be who he was today. Looking to Chaos, his face clouded, Did he really belong? Domnio shook his head before yawning and settling himself by his sister. Xina rested her head on Domnio and closed her eyes. Domnio licked her head gently before turning to look at the world, looking out for danger. Nothing would harm his pack, Nothing.

Medianoche Cazador

Midnight Hunters

Hydras, SKeil, & Pirqua

As usual, a sentry was keeping watch of the most prominent alleyways of the place. A sentry that most canines wouldn't even notice, even though it was a common enough sight in many cities. A peregrine falcon. She was perched high on a towertop, her head hunched and feathers ruffled by sharp drafts of wind. Her kind were known for their travelings, but Pirqua had never been out of the valley in her life, and neither had her mate or three offspring. Now she spotted the pack entering the Lurker's domain and was surprised to note that they were all wolves. Taking wing, Pirqua sailed through the chilly skies to find her 'alpha' and relay the news.

Hydras didn't need to be informed, however. This time, she caught wind of the intruders rather quickly and headed briskly down a familiar alleyway to invistiage. As usual, her trusted pit bull friend, Skeil, was trotting dutifully along side.

It didn't take long for the alphess of the Shadow Lurkers to navigate her domain and come across the pack of five. She stopped a good few yards away and stared silently at the group. Her tri-colored fur was very thick and now it billowed out to frame her regal head and tall, pointed ears. Her tail was hoisted up as well to declare status, but she dared not initiate aggression to those that outnumbered her. She simply waited for them to take notice.

Skeil stood close to the hybrid, shivering slightly because her short, course fur didn't lend well to cold environments. And like Hydras, Skeil didn't show aggression, but her posture wasn't openly friendly either.

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

Ahhh, Another pack of some kind. Hmmm, The Shadow Lurkers. Yes...

Domnio stood up, fur bristling and hackles raised. Sxythe and Vandras followed, standing each side of the alpha. They didn't growl or give any threatening signs, merely watched. Xina's eyes snapped open and she slowly got to her feet...well paws. Chaos remained at the back, still knowing his place in the group. Domnio spoke.

Hail, I be Domnio, Alpha of The Midnight Hunters. And you must be the Shadow Lurkers huh?

A slight smirk flickered onto his muzzle, but quickly disappeared. he spoke to Alphess.

You must be the leader then. Whats your name?

Hydras, SKeil, Yersinia, & Pirqua

Hydras stood her ground, a bit concerned at first with their actions, then relieved with the alpha's response. She hid a smirk and responded to him, "You're quite right. My name is Hydras. This here is Skeil." She went on to inform, nodding to her friend, standing dwarfed beside her. "What brings your pack onto our lands, Domnio?" Normally, another pack would be driven off, but Hydras at the moment was outnumbered. And besides, she needed to figure out what this group's intentions were.

A collie-like hybrid came dashing towards the group, her eyes narrowing sharply at them. "Hydras, White Noise said..." But a quick snarl and flash of fangs from the alpha told Yersinia to keep quiet.

Yersinia pulled her ears back, seething with anger for the moment at being chastised in front of strangers. Shutting her trap, the hybrid sat down and watched the happenings.

Skeil glanced back at her friend, flashing a brief, appologetic smile for Hydras's actions.

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

Domino remained in a dominant position, ruff expanded and fur bristled. Chaos began to shuffle further towards Domnio but Vandras growled deeply at him so he settled himself beside Xina, she was the only one who he felt safe with.

Domnio smirked before speaking of Yersinia.
Oh no. Let her speak, It must be desperately important.
Then he thought about what the Alpha had said.
We are here for one purpose, Hydras. To set up an Alliance. Would you be interested, If not then we could take our business elsewhere. We are loyal and will not back down from a fight. We are just like your pack, same goals, same views. All we are asking is that of your view of an alliance with us.

Satan and Vitani

The pair had followed Hydras's scent and found the gathering in one of the alleys. Satan approached first standing the other side of Hydras, not growling, but showing he wasn't happy about this intrusion.

Vitani, Satans daughter, stood behind him, not use to this sort of conflict. She remained silent.

Hydras, SKeil, Yersinia, & Pirqua

Hydras listened closely, raising an eye at his first comment. While she never let her pride control her, she still didn't like being told what to do, especially from a stranger. "She will have patience." Hydras replied quietly, not letting her voice be tainted with a rude or unjust tone. "It would be a boon for my pack as well as yours to be in alliance. But in order for that to work, you also must accept our current allies as your own; or at least not make war with them. The Silver Glades and Sedge Creek packs are our greatest allies; have you heard of them?" The alphess spared a glance towards Satan and Vitani, very glad that they had showed up. Now she waited for Domnio's response.

Skeil had again turned her focus on the other pack after giving a short wag of her tail to 'greet' Satan and Vitani.

Yersinia was surprised with Domnio's initial statement, and hid a faint grin. Of course, she may get all the more chastised later for it.

Ninaki & Kenyon

The duo came trapsing along, with Ninaki looking as morose as ever. The lone beta set himself a bit behind Hydras and stared blankly at the group in front of them.

Kenyon stood beside his father, being a great deal larger than him, and with a much better attitude at the moment. Having not heard what was said to his sister Yersinia, the big brute was at a bit of a loss about what was going on. But knowing Hydras well enough, Kenyon kept quiet while they spoke.

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

Domnio nodded. As the others approached he felt slightly threatened, but didn't show it.
I have heard of the Silver Glades pack but not of the Sedge Creek. I accept them as ally's if they accept us. I would not want to be 'friends' with ones refuse to act the same to us as we do to them.

Satan and Vitani

He nodded and half-smiled to Skeil, Ninaki and Hydras before turning his attention back to Domnio and the so called 'Midnight hunters'.

Vitani smiled at Skeil and the others and wagged her tail, but still remained silent. She watched the events unfold.

Unknown

the huntress of silver moved forth her moonlit glow shimmering about her graceful motions. Her angel blue voids moving about the allies and she moved with a stunning yet deadly grace. Her crown was up higher then it should be she was here to see these Shadow Lurkers but her reason was all her own. Instead once she came upon the gathering a smiled danced upon her flawless features. Domino caught her attention rather handsome brute, but still she wasn't here to flirt, "maybe later", she thought. Now she settled herself at the edge of the group. She made no noise just the steady breathing she wouldn'y speak unless adressed first.

Hydras, SKeil, Yersinia, & Pirqua

Hydras relaxed just a touch, "We are allies then." There was the sound of satifiaction in her voice as she declared this. But before she could say more, another fae appeared. Hydras pulled her head higher now and turned her body towards Unknown. This fae didn't seem to carry the scent of the Mignight Hunters, nor any of her other allies. "Who are you?" The alpha's eyes narrowed and her posture stiffened, showing her dominance.

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

Domnio nodded and half-smiled before his attention also switched to the new vixen. He stood with his pack interested in what this vixen had to say.

Risen

Tap tap tap, scratch scrath, hault.

Deep yellow eyes stared at the other pack as hairs bristled on her back, she stood only shortly behind the alpha female, and farther to the side. Not to huddle with the pack. Her head held decently high with the, 'don't try anything funny' posture, though low enough to claim that she wasn't the leader, though decently high in rank. She didn't growl, but waited. Staring the intruding vix square in the eye. Challenging her to start something, and it would be the end of her life.

Yes this little fea has an ego the size of Texas, and will protect those who need it in her pack. She had a feeling that Hydras would back her down, but wouldn't back down until told to do so. Quietly she waited for the female to answer the alpha's question. Keeping a good pose to launch herself to attack if the female was a threat. Ears didn't even bother with the others, cause their smell had settled and hydras seemed comfortable with them.

Unknown

[dear me, all this for one minx? Would you attack a defenseless wolf? If so you surely ain't the pack I thouht you were Hydras.]

the fea of silver stood her crown high matching Hybras but there was no show if violence or hate just Unknown being herself. Her silver tinted voids matched Risen there was power there unmatched in any fea. Looking back to Hybras she spoke again

[you have unwanted company Hybras the Ally Pack and their leader Fresca right? You'll need all the help you can get, right?]

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

This was appalling, not only does this fae come in acting the alphess that she isn't, she then accuses others that they aren't what they seem before holding her stance as dominant. Dear, dear, What disgustng manners...

Domnio raised himself up, showing his dominance. He bared his fangs.

Xina knew what would happen now, she had experianced it many times herself and it wasn't pleasant.

Vandras and Sxythe also knew, but they were the ones to prefrom the 'ceremony'.

Chaos knew nothing of what was about to happen and so he stayed next to Vandras. A sharp snap on the flank from Vandras was enough to tell him that he wasn't welcome to be there now and so he sank back into the shadows and watched.

Xina trotted up by Domnio as the baring of his fangs turned to a smirk.
So. Domnio said, in a charmingly malicious voice. You've decided you've some althority here then hmm. Well, I tell you know missy to back down.

Vandras came up beside his leader.
Things aren't always as they seem dear, I wouldn't mistake the Shadow Lurkers for pushover goodies.

Sxythe stepped up next to his brother.
And even if they are, I wouldnt think that way about us deary, We may have different ideas about trespassers.

Domnio raised an eyebrow at both of the wolves, annoyed by their lack of manners. They were almost as bad as this fae. Shaking his head, the Alpha approached Unknown.

They have enough help. I'm sure they wouldn't need a pretty thing like you running around. You might get hurt.

The others sniggered, including Xina, who thought the whole process was horrible to the reciever as they never gave up. Sxythe was quick to react.
You said before you were defenseless, so what help would you be on the battlefield? Huh?

Domnio continued to look down upon the minx. His wolvern body held in dominance.

Unknown

Unknown's attention left the alpha whom she had been conversing with annoyed look upon her features. She was here to speak with Hybras and no one else. A sigh left her vocals as she rolled her voids her silver chassis moving now away from Hybras to Domnio a sneer now playing upon her features. She had seen this act before a long time ago maybe then it would have gotten her riled but here it wouldn't not now any way. Vocals sang to Domnio deep and seducing.

[come now, dear, if you saw me without my pelt I wouldn't be so pretty. Want to know why love?]

she began to circle him alone her silver tinted gems never leaving him ages of pain and suffering suddenly showing under her smooth acting tones and motions.

[I have been beated, raped, left for dead you name it. I am a surviver, Domnio. Don't forget that. I am no pushover I have faced horrors no wolf should have to face. Being forced to fight in cage matches against other dogs and mixbreds and once against my own brother. I fought for my life and for where I stand now. I am here to help if you and Hybras don't want it I can and will take it elsewhere....]

Her gaze now landed back to Hybras as she left the pack and came back to her her tones unnevered by her confession as she spoke.

[I mean you or your pack no harm, Hybras. White Noise sent me here we are long time allies and any ally to him is to me also. My actions are my own and its who I am, but I am not unloyal I have been forced to do many things to live, but I would never betray anyone who is with me even if it means death.]

Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, & Pirqua

Hydras let her dark lips curl back, showing her white canines in striking, glistening contrast. A deep snarl followed her words as she advanced to within a few mere steps of Unknown. Now her head was raised to its highest and her eyes blazed into the fae's, "Show me respect, first and foremost, fae. I am the queen around here, and I haven't obtained that rank for nothing." She warned, demanding submittance from Unknown. Though she was too focused on Unknown to show it, Hydras was surprised and secretly pleased with the actions of Domnio and his pack.

As she waited for Unknown's reaction, Hydras thought over what was said. The mention of White Noise allayed some of the alpha's feelings of uncertaintly about this femme. And of course her talk of loyalty was just what Hydras wanted to hear. However, she didn't rellent in her demand for submittance. With a growing pack and allies, heirarchy needed to be more strictly enforced, as she thought of it.

The fur running along Skeil's back bristled up and a pronouned growl started up in her thick throat.

Yersinia didn't bother with showing off dominance, or even acting defensive. In fact, that's why she preferred to stay behind her aunt's eyesight, so that she couldn't be chastised for just such things. Her eyes flickered towards Risen, whom Yersinia had been debating about as well. Yersinia knew she didn't posses the strength of the other fae, and so stayed behind her as well to avoid any dominance quarrels.

Satan and Vitani

Satan growled, his fur bristling and hackled raised. He snarled, a deep rose from his chambers. His ruff expanded and he glared at Unknown.

Vitani didn't growl, but she wasn't pleased with this new faes actions, baring her fangs, she slid next to her father.

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

As she began to circle him, he became annoyed. He may have got used to the fact of other intruding in his personal space, but it still didn't make it any less irritating. He looked seemingly bored, and in fact he was, but he was also angry...and getting more by the second.
As she began to talk of her past and after what seemed like 3 years, finally finished her story Domnio yawned and looked at her with an invisable brow raised.
No Dear, I dont not particularly want to see and neither do I want to hear your life story, so I would button it and bow down, before you regret even wasting your breath. We have all faced hardship before and are no stranger to the horrors of this world. Now shut it and submit before I loose my temper.
As he said this in a malicious, bored voice, he slid towards her with a dominant posture and glared down at her.
Is that understood?

Vandras and Sxythe were also annoyed by the fae and began to growl, their fur bristling. Their growls erupted low in their throats and grew louder with every passing minute the minx failed to submit to both thier leader and Hydras.

Xina didn't growl but moved next to Domnio and bared her fangs.

Chaos stayed behind, not knowing what to do.

Domnio nodded as Hydras spoke of dominance and the fact the minx should submit, he agreed. His gaze then shifted from her, to Unknown. She better submit to both him and Hydras or their would be trouble. He was pleased with the way Hydras was handling this, she was a strong leader he could tell. He continued to glare at Unknown.

Risen

She heard everyone around her growling like she was. Knowing now that she didn't have to ease on her own growling. She let a terrible snarl blare from her nose. The sound of, "Watch it" once more. The easy sign that the fea better bow to those higher in rank than her. It was not the femmes land to act like a leader. Even if she was a lead of another land. There would be some sign of submission.

When voids met with the femmes the female growled in hollars and took a step forward. Her challenge was met, and it had pissed her off. Though only one step was taken. Eyes flicking to Hydras, waiting for permission to attack. If the female submitted, and hydras accepted the submission. She would ease. Even so, her mind would not ease the fea into acceptance with herself.

Unknown

truth was Unknown didn't know how to act and she could tell now it was getting her into trouble. Oh if only she oculd remember her past before the fights. BUt one to many hits and injections of unknown drugs had left her memory battered. She began shy backing away from Hybras through her tiara remained high her silver tinted gems danced with worry she hated to fight but would when the need be. She suddenly became like a small pup her alter personality she tried to hid but came out when Unknown felt like this trapped. Maw parted as she spoke.

Hybras I am afraid I don't know how to back down. I am truly sorry to have wasted your time. I....I....I think I should take me leave.

She tried not to stammer though it was evident she did a little. Don't underestimate Unknown she has many sides and many personailites due to her abuse she suffered since she was a pup. She don't back down unless she went somewhere to help and ended up in trouble like now. She is a ferious fighter.

Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, & Pirqua

Hydras quickly caught onto the confusion, but the fact that Unknown still carried her head high made the alphess angry. She didn't know of the fae's past, and so couldn't understand what was troubling Unknown. The fact that Unknown knew White Noise, however, made Hydras wary. Last thing she wanted to do was to agriviate a pack member by attacking one of their friends.

"Submit, and you can stay here. I'm curious to hear what information you have." Hydras went on, stepping closer to Unknown, her body and voice showing utter dominance. Her eyes were still blazing with fury at the insubordinate actions of the fae, but at least now it was clear that Unknown wasn't a direct threat. "Show me your throat!" Hydras growled finally, demanding Unknown get to the ground and roll onto her back, in the form of total submission.

Skeil let her growling die down, but not her defence. Then she glanced to Risen with the kind of look that said 'can you believe this is happening?'.

Yersinia moved a bit closer now, curious to see how Unknown would react. She always loved to see someone besides herself getting into trouble. It was also a good reason Yersinia didn't have that many friends.

Domnio, Xina, Sxythe, Vandras and Chaos

Domnio began to snarl, baring his fangs and lifting his body higher in dominance. This fae was making a big mistake.
Submit now or you will see your painful life flash before your eyes. Make no mistake fae, Hydras may not harm you, but I will.
He too wanted to see her in total submission, belly and throat visable, everything. Hackles rose, ears were pinned back, fur bristled, His anger was plain to see. He approached the fae further, so that he was merely inches away from her face. He hissed,
Do you understand?

Vandras and Sxythe also began to be enraged at this female pathetic excuses for not submitting. They began to advance, slowly but in a threatening way. One command from Domnio and this fae could kiss her life goodbye.

Xina's growls gradually got louder, signalling her disgust at this worthless femme's actions.

Chaos remained in he shdows, still unsure about what to do. Eventually her emerged, fangs bared and growling. He stood beside Xina, his rumble getting louder all the time.

Ninaki & Kenyon

Ninaki stepped closer as well, his fangs revealed and glistening. His dark brown ears were planed out to the side and his muzzle was wrinkled up in a snarling facade. Like the other, he was snarling, and glaring banefully at the female.

Kenyon didn't growl, however, or show any real aggression to Unknown. He felt sorry for, actually! He wished he could talk to Hydras and Domnio, and tell them to be nice... but, the Lurkers weren't known for being 'nice', and Kenyon feared the retaliation if he ever suggested such a thing. So reluctantly, the big hybrid stayed silent. But his eyes at least showed sympathy for Unknown.

Unknown

the huntress was a little taken back. Total submission? Expose her throat? Confusion engulfed her. Her mind brought her back to her days as a pit fighter. Exposing your throat ment death. Voids looked to all whom were circling her. But something else told her to do it no matter that her pride would be hurt. Voids landed lastly upon Kenyon she could see the only sympathy she had. Thats not what she wanted. Looking Hybras in the voids the huntress sighed pistons folded as she layed down voids closed she oculd see the mockery already about her she was scarred if death came she welcomed it. Rolling over she exposed her thraot just before on her chest were no one could see while she was standing was a bare patch and horrible scar almost like lighting ran there.

Risen

She smirked at Skeil and watched as the stranger finally fell to submission. Her growls subsidded but she still kept in defencive position. head level with body. Eyes just staring.

Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, & Pirqua

Hydras stepped over Unknown and dipped her head down low. Her eyes flashed over the revealed scar, which told the leader something of this fae's past. "You are wise." The alphess began, and at her words, Skeil and Yersinia instantly paid attention. "Next time, you will know how to act around your superiors. Now, tell me, what information do you have for me?" Her eyes were hard as they stared down at Unknown's, and she didn't back off yet, but stood right over the fae to drive in the lesson of submition, as well as to simply show her power.

Yersinia watched all this with a smug face. Normally, it was her uncle who was getting pushed around and chastised. Too bad he wasn't here to see it, although he was more like Kenyon, and wouldn't find the humor in it like Yersinia did.

Satan and Vitani

Satan lifted his head and the growls subsided as Unknown finally submitted. Satisfied that his services weren't needed any longer with the presence of other pack members and some new allies, the wolf turned to Hydras and with a breif smile and nod to her and each pack member, he left.

Vitani followed, giving a wag of her tail and a smile to the others before trotting after her father.

Risen .+. Fallen

Fallen had entered with hydras upon a stranger. She lowered her head and watched quietly. Bloody eyes staring down at the fea, slight sorrow. But a wolf should always know how to submit. At least, that was her thoughts.

Risen stared then turned and growled at her mother as she approached. Though soon her ears perked and her eyes widened. Head was high in alert, nose widened trying to take in scents. She barked slightly, "I heard something." and took off in the direction of the noise she heard.

Unknow

unknown had never learned the ways of a true wolf. Submitting was something she had never known. She had been tossed into fights since she was pup it was all she knew. She looked up to Hybras silver tinted voids now open slightly braver the huntress replied.

Truth is Hybras I don't know how to be a wolf. I escaped from the fighting pens only a few months back. Been there since I was pup. This "submission" thing and several others are new and I don't know how. I was told by Noise you would be the best to teach me. All I had to do was be loyal and I am. I don't want to waste your time thought and if you wouldn't mind laying like this is hurting my back. I still haven't gotten over my last fight....

she cut herself off she had started rambling. Her last fight against her brother had been a deal breaker. They fought she allowed him to win then as they pulled her almost lifeless chassis from the ring she used the last of her strength to fight back. In the end she killed several humans and escaped. Her brother on the other hand she had yet to hear from him. She vowed to return for him once she had learned to be a wolf.

Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, & Pirqua

Hydras stared hard at Unknown still, standing defiantly above her as she thought over what was said. This was a new concept to the alpha; someone not knowing the rules of subission and heirarchy. Hydras didn't waver though, and soon parted her jaws to speak, "I will take your word on this," Golden eyes flashed to Pirqua, "Send Dally to speak with White Noise and confirm this." The alphess looked once more to Unknown, showing a bit of rellentment, but still not moving to allow her to stand, "I will help you. But let our first encounter be a vital lesson to you. Had you done something like this in the wild, you could expect to meet your death. And lesson two..." Her eyes narrowed and her head drew closer to Unknown's, "Never challenge your leader with direct, sustained eye contact. Nor should you ask to be relieved of your punishment, or it could be lengthened." Yet Hydras wasn't going to force this submittance any longer, now that she thought her message had gotten clear. Besides, know she knew that Unknown's actions were based on simple ignorance, not defiance against authority. Hydras took a step back, allowing the fae to pick herself up.

Skeil sat back on her haunches, very curious about Unknown now. Yersinia was also interested, but not enough to go over and speak with the new comer.

Pirqua had taken off by now, to locate her son.

Unknown

the silver huntress stood slowly her crown now low she had learned a good lesson and her foolishness relfected in her silver tinted voids. Her voids though would not rise to meet the eyes of other fear maybe even guilt and her own hurt pride kept her from doing so.

Thank you Hybras. I......I wish I knew I ment to harm I swear. I didn't know.....

she cut herself off there as she now sat down hoping that her sittin would offend anyone she felt the eyes of other on her mocking her. Her a wolf who knew nothing about being a wolf.
