Zira & Vitani
The pair, mother and daughter, entered the Alleys with no look of innocence or evil on their features. They were here for a purpose and one alone, to join the famous Shadow Lurkers.
Zira, The mother of Vitani, entered first with an interested, business-like look upon her face. She stopped and let out a low, deep howl to the Alpha, Hydras. Closing her jaws the wolfess sat down on her haunches and waited for some sort of movement.
Vitani however looked unimpressed as she entered the Alleys behind her mother. The wolfess yawned before standing beside her mother. She wanted to be in the pack yes, but the thought of being there with her mother was a bit daunting. Still, she remained silent as she waited...
Hydras, Skeil, & Yersinia
Hydras had been away, but heard the call clear enough from where she was. Now the alpha came sprinting back, banner held high in the air as she went. Her coat was thick now with the approaching winter, making her seems even larger than she was. And already, her size had grown dramatically from when she first took up the leading role; such was with any alpha.
It didn't take long for the leadess to come across the trail of the duo. Checking her pace, the hybrid followed the scent until she came across the two. Now her head rose up and her thick ruff expanded around her elegant face, embracing it with her striking pelage. Dark yellow orbs sized the two up, "I'm Hydras, alpha of the Shadow Lurkers, who's land you are on." Hydras began, though assumed they knew exactly where they were as far as being on another's land. "What is it you seek?"
Trotting up beside Hydras was a thick-bodied pit bull, all white in color with a myraid of scars covering her body from countless fights her pack was in. Though her steady dark eyes stared ominously at the two wolves, and her body was stiff in a defensive posture, Skeil was actually a very friendly fae.
Slinking up behind her aunt, Yersinia was revealed next. She was a good deal smaller than Hydras, with a body more fitting of a collie, save her wolf-like head and muzzle. Her fur, too, was a mixture of black, white, and cinnamon.
Sasha
The injured doberman limped after the rest of the back her breathing steady softly she said to Bullet "These three legs are going to be in such good shape when I finally get this stupid thing off." As she neared the rest of the pack her dark brown eyes took in both of the females. She was one of the kinder Shadow Lurkers looking to help anyone. She glanced over at Hydras and took her fierce look with a smile. She was a good alphess and fair. She then turned to Bullet and her look changed to what could be called love although the two were not mates. Yet at least.
Sequioa stalked towards the pack a blank expression on her face. She was never one to speak out of turn or speak for that matter. When she did speak it was short curt words that cut straight to the point. Black orbs turned from one female to the other and a soft growl was issued. Softly for only Hydras's ears "Im not babysitting any new members" She then turned and padded away heading back to her conversation with Black Feather.
Fly the happiest of the three trotted in his head high blood still coating his muzzle for he wasnt paying complete attention to it. He pounced over to Sasha and grabbed onto the scruff of her neck shaking her head about. She put up with it for a few moments before letting out a soft growl and snap at him. He let go and froze seeing the other two. He smiled embarresedly and mumbled "Didnt know we had others here....Sorry Hydras." He backed up and sat down close to Kenyon.
Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Black Feather
Bullet's tail wagged and he grinned, "That's for sure! Think it can come off soon?" His voice was a whisper and his eyes darted constantly towards his sister, making sure he wouldn't get in trouble for chatting at the moment. And then the hybrid's eye caught Sasha's last look, and his tail swayed faster and he returned the look.
Hydras didn't pull her eyes from the newcomers when Sequioa came towards her. An ear was flicked in the hybrid's direction however, then her eyes narrowed angrily at the response she got. Before the alpha could say anything, Sequioa left, leaving Hydras to sigh in frustration. But she wouldn't force the duty upon Sequioa again, if she had the guts to confront her about it. A bit of a scuffle came to her ears and she relented to turn her gaze towards Fly. A single tooth was bared, warning him to be mindful and quite for the moment. But her eyes weren't particularly harsh, and she quickly turned her attention back to the duo at hand.
Skeil glanced back at Fly and smirked at his playful nature. But she was too obidient and loyal to Hydras to say anything at the moment, so her attention was turned back to the strangers.
Yersinia sat back on her haunches, looking utterly bored.
Black Feather waited until Sequioa returned before dipping his head to her, "You've a dark past?" There was a definite tone of interest in his voice, for he wanted to hear the story. But he didn't ask her out right, because he didn't know how she would react to it.
Zira, Vitani, Satan
Satan followed the pack and came to a stop near Hydras. The wolf's gaze scanned the group before resting on the newcomers. Once his eyes have taken them in, the wolf groaned. There was now a problem, He knew the duo too well...
He grinned before stepping forward.
Well Zira, We meet again...
His gaze turned to the daughter and he nodded to her. Vitani..
The female just watched as the pack came around them. However she didn't back down, nor did she feel threatened for she did have a reason to be here. She looked at Hydras, but kept her body lower than the alphas. Greetings Hydras, I have heard much about you...I. But she was cut short as she was interupted by a familiar voice. Satan. She smirked, her eyes flicking from Hydras to Satan. Well, well Satan. Good to see you. Where have you been all this time...Vitani's missed you.. Her attention was then turned back to the Alphess. We are here to seek acceptance to join The Shadows Lurkers, It is your desition.
The she-wolf gasped as the scent of Satan drifted her way. She growled lightly but remained silent, no saying a word. She rolled her eyes as her mother went on about How she had missed him..How could she miss a father who ditched her and her mother...
Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Black Feather
Hydras looked from Satan to Zira, "You know each other?" The alpha was silent for a moment, making her judgement. Her pack had been decieved before by a member who was not what he claimed to be. Her dark yellow orbs fastened to Satan, wondering if she knew enough of him to trust him yet. Lifting her head a bit more, Hydras spoke, "Zira and Vitani it is? Well, you are welcome to the pack. But know that we are a pack that fights often, and we have strict loyalties to others and each other. Above all else, we respect eachother and watchout for our own."
Satan, Vitani, Zira
Satan jumped and looked to Hydras.
Yes, I'm Vitani's father...
He didn't sound all to thrilled but none-the-less, he would stick by his pack all the time. No real family would come between him and his new family...his own kind.
Zira rose to stand and nodded. Yes Hydras....and thank-you. A glare was shot at Satan, but she turned to face the alphess once more. The pair never really got along and she could see Vitani prefered him to herself and that angered her. However she kept silent and simply stood, facing Hydras, studying her new packmates.
Vitani however just simply nodded, she would keep to these rules and respected them. She left her mothers side and went to sit by Satan. Personally she prefered him to Zira. Zira was a evil monster with a black heart, Her father however was different, he did care about others, and she could see that he was a lurker, he belonged there. Her mother, she would have to prove it...
Risen
Small frame snaked into the alley after the pack. She stood a good ways from the new comers. Then sat away from the others. She wasn't one to get, close, to others. But still would stick up for the pack. For the moment, she had nothing against them.
Yellow glowing spheres turned harshly to Zira, Risen was surely one with a black heart. If she even had one. Her father's qualities were growing ever stronger in her. The dislike of the living, though, she had not killed anything yet. But knew it would be a task she could perform without thinking twice.
A thought struck her, eyes shooting to Hydras, She wouldn't ask.. not yet... Unless the female brought it up first. She wanted to know her rank compared to Zira and Vitani. Being still a pup, Though older. She could understand to be lower than Zira, But Vitani didn't look very old. And she wondered if her place would get any higher than her lowest rank now.
Satan, Zira, Vitani
Satan too would have liked to know his rank but stayed quiet, waiting to see what Hydras made of his relationship with the two newcomers. He nuzzled Vitani but paid no attempt to even look at Zira. He watched his Alpha.
Zira just stood there watching and waiting to see what would happen next.
Vitani licked her dads muzzle and also waited, inspecting the new arrival (risen), she looked slightly older than herself but anyway...she would just wait and see what happened next.
Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Black Feather
Hydras was a bit surprised to hear the correlation, but nodded none-the-less. At first, it struck her almost like a pain, for she resented the fact that she still had no offspring, or even a mate for that matter. But it was quickl apparent to her that Satan and Zira didn't share a mutual liking to each other, as far as Hydras could tell. "I'm sure you'll fit in well. This is Skeil, Yersinia, Sequioa, Sasha, Risen, Fly, and Bullet." Hydras announced, naming off the members as she nodding her muzzle to each.
Skeil offered a friendly wag of her tail, easing up now that the two had been accepted. Having her name proclaimed first made her all the more happy.
Bullet gave a friendly nod as well, not too sore about having his name read off last, which if nothing else, signified his place in the pack.
Yersinia didn't offer much of a greeting to them, for she saw the two as more competition against her place in the pack. Her small size and snippy attitude didn't offord her much in the way of getting a high rank. Like Risen, she didn't really know her place in the ladder, except that she was behind Skeil, Sequoia, Ninaki, and Satan. It was her one console that Bullet was under her at least.
Putting her folly regrets aside, the alpha adressed the newcomers once again, "Do you have any knowledge of living around humans? How to avoid them, and how to take advantage of them? This coming winter, we will need to take food from them, and be safe about it." Her eyes turned to Satan and Risen next, for this question hadn't been given to them when they first joined. But now as her eyes searched them over, it was clear she expected an answer of them too.
Haunted
Silently the small lithe wolf trotted towards them. She had been careful to stay at Aaka's place for awhile and get the packs scent. She watched the precedings a minute then sat down waiting. She was Aaka's messenger since the female was laid up with pups.
She watched a few moments and glanced at Hydras every now and then in case the female got hostile. She stared at the new comers and made sure to tell Aaka who was new and who may be dead among the alphess's many enimies. She smiled as she heard Sasha voice say softly "Dont forget about allies Hydras. It is important for everyone to know who we are allowed to kill and who is off limits."
Sequioa glanced at BLack Deather then said softly "My past is one that is nothing to speak of. Its not as dark as Aakas but it is certainly dark enough for me." Her yellow eyes gazed towards Risen the one she was supposed to be watching. If it was up to her she wouldnt be here. She watched the newcomers and shook her head. She liked things simple and quiet but with these new comers....Things could happen. Unwanted things.
Risen
Sharp yellow moons fell down upon Yersinia. If it was up to -her- she would be decently high in the pack. Though, she knew through fighting, she might not make it to the higher ranks. Especially with the lead seeming to be more... kind hearted than she herself was.
When she heard the question of hydras, she knew she was suppose to answer. " I have not had an encounter with a human being yet. But I'm sure I will do my part well." She dipped her head loyally. Showing none of the recentment at being such a low level that she had.
Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Black Feather
Hydras nodded, "Yes, I almost forgot. As we fight often, allies are crucial to us. Our primary ally is Aaka, who's the leader of the Silver Glades. As you pay me respect, do the same for her. We will visit her shortly again, and I'll explain more of the pack to you, as well as our other allies." The alphess looked to Risen next, "That's well; I will lead the pack on a tour in a moment, to show where everything is."
Black Feather listened carefully and tilted his two-toned head to the side, "I see, I see." The little raptor murmured, and didn't press to hear any more of the story. "Maybe you would like another pair of eyes?" Black Feather asked, leaning his tawny little form nearer to Sequioa. For some reason, he was greatly interested in this fae.
Sasha
She smiled faintly at the new comers and said in her soft quiet voice "Welcome to the Shadow Lurkers. If you have any questions ask me or anyone else. Hydras....I think im going to sit this one out. My legs bothering me from all the walking we have done today." It was true that they had all been a great many places and Sasha had followed loyally and could feel the pain in her leg severly bothering her. She turned to Bullet and smiled faintly "You can go if you want...Im just going to go lay down for awhile." She turned and limped towards her 'bed' that was a pile of old clothes in the corner and laid down curling up as best she could wishing that Bullet would come lay with her.
Sequioa turned towards Black Feather and nodded. She had never really met with the bird and rarely ever saw him but she felt like she had a friend among the pack. Yersinia was ok and knew when and when not to bother the female which made Sequioa all the happier.
Jake had stayed in the shadows the whole time waiting quietly to see if he was needed at all bit he doubted it. Jake was rarely ever seen among the pack but he was here enough that everyone knew he belonged.
Risen .+. Fallen
She lowered her head and looked about the pack. Then sat in her elegant evilness. Pride brimming around her, she felt like she could take the world down. But in her sleeping wake, the world sat at ease from her. Unaware of the danger she possessed. One should be wary not to get on her bad side. Anyone on it was immediatly transfered to her hit list. Which no one at the moment was on.
Fallen::
Jet black female followed the scent of her child into the land. Crimson red eyes stared to the pack, then moved to her greatly grown daughter. Her eyes grew wide at the site of how much the child had matured, since she was from her first litter, she didn't have the experience to watch a child grow. She saw the lead and submissivly threw her head down. Tail between her legs showing her natural position in any pack would be the Silka(lowest). "I'm sorry." She directed to Hydra's, who seemed to the be the alpha. "I wanted to see my children. They have been gone from my pack home for a while." She shrunk back in instinctal fear, waiting for someone to jump her for tresspassing.
Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Black Feather
"Yes, I think it is a wise thing to retain your energy. Bullet, go with her." The alpha said. Bullet wagged his tail, emensely glad that his alpha sister relented to this. He knew that someone would have been ordered to stay with Sasha anyway, with her injured and all. Trotting away with the doberman, Bullet laid down next to her and rested his head on her side, trying to give her warmth against the cold air.
Hydras turned sharply to Fallen, her hackles raising instantly, while one ear remained directed at the two newest pack members. "You are her mother? Very well then." The alpha stated, letting her fur settle, but still retaining her dominate posture. Well, here was another sore spot for her. Having no mother. But she didn't let that get her her. "What pack do you reside in? And as long as you are here, I must warn you that it is in your best interest to keep peace with my pack." Hydras warned. Most tresspassers were confronted to see whether they would be friendly or not; friendly ones were left alone, while potential enemies were driven off or killed.
Yersinia looked smuggly about at the gathered canines, then tilted her head a bit and gave a very wide, lenghy yawn to show off all of her keen, white fangs.
Skeil glanced over at the hybrid once, but did little else. She knew Yersinia would be no threat to her ranking.
Fallen .+. Risen
Red orbs stayed low to the alpha's feet and lower. Ears to the side to show no harm. " Opake Mountain Territory Is my home, I do not mean to tresspass, It's on human territory, so I thought all were welcome. I Try not to get on anyone's bad side." She wanted to motion to lay down for submission, but feared an assult.
Risen glared daggers to her mother, Eye contact remained with the tresspasser. "She couldn't harm a thing. The only thing she came close to harming was a warning snap to an older pup that tried to attack me." She growled slightly then stood with her hackles rose. Thin legs moving to her mother, It was appearant by their body shape that they were related. Risen had her fathers colors, but her mother's frame all the way. A soft dainty head, thin lanky legs, and a thin drawn up belly. All features wonderful for speed. The only difference was, Fallen was out of shape, Fat was more noticable on her. While Risen had Perfect tone lines. She was well in shape, and greatly strong.
Satan, Vitani, Zira
Satan nodded. I have come into contact with humans before, I'm sure it will all run smoothly. When the trespasser entered his expression changed and he growled softly, but then was silent as Hydras said she could stay.
Vitani stayed by her fathers side, she didn't make any effort to become aggressive to the trespasser, she simply said. Thank you Hydras. I've never met a human, but I'm sure it will be fine. Vitani was strong indeed, she had her fathers build but her mothers quick wit. She would outsize her mother and grow to about the same size as her father, smaller prehaps.
Zira simply stayed where she was, I have met humans, I know what to do. She snarled at the newcomer, but Satan glared at her, and so she stopped, angry. She knew he held a higher rank than she did and so thought it best not to mess, yet...
Aaka
Aaka had found herself a babysitter for a short amount of time and she figured she would come and see how her allies were doing. She raced as fast as her strong limbs would carry her and stopped with a skid next to Hydras panting lsightly her eyes bright with demons. She glanced around and nodded. "New members. Excellent. Have they proven themselves Hydras?" Her question was soft barely above a whisper that managed to carry to all of the others.
Sasha saw the arrival of there allie and smiled at the new mother. She wasnt particulary certain how Aaka would react to motherhood. She just prayed it wouldnt end like last time. As Bullet layed his head on her she turned and gently nuzzled him "How do you feel about pups Bullet?" Her words for him and him alone making sure to keep quiet.
Satan, Vitani, Zira
Satan smiled softly as he saw Aaka coming towards them. He knew that she was now a mother and was happy for her. Suddenly a strange smell hit him. Pups. Hmmm. He didn't know whether to leave or stay and just ignore it so he decided to alert his alphess.
Hydras, I smell pups. They're somewhere around here. Should I go and investigate?
Vitani looked at her father, but stayed quiet. She wanted to go with him if he went somewhere as she didn't feel to comfortable being left with her mother with a group of woves she didn't yet know. Also her dad seemed to be higher in rank than her mother so she thought it would be better to stay with him.
Zira just watched as Aaka approached. Her features remained expressionless as she listened to the conversation silently.
Hydras, Skeil, Yersinia, Bullet, & Black Feather
Hydras took in the plethera of words that were directed to her, shifting her gaze as needed and turning her head this way and that. A nod was given to Fallen before she adressed the others, "It's good to hear. I will take everyone on a tour soon enough..." The alphess paused, picking up the scent of pups as well, "Yes, why don't you investigate that, Satan? Be wary though." Now she turned to Aaka and a grinning smile covered her muzzle, though a bit of exhaustion shown in her eyes, "Quite a few new ones. And so far, they seem quite capable." A sharp bark in the distance now drew Hydras' attention away and she gave a soft sigh, "I need to investigate. You're welcome to tag along, or hang back with the others." She offered Aaka, showing a rare, friendly wave of her tail. Then she took bounded off, heading towards a distant stranger.
Skeil followed after her alpha.
Yersinia stayed back, choosing to plant herself under a nearby stair well. Her eyes looked from one member to the next, trying to figure out who, if any, she might get along with.
Bullet's eyes opened wide at hearing Sasha's question. But his thumping tail told just how he felt, "P-pups? I... I never thought..." He trailed off, then a big grin took of her dark muzzle, "Well, I'd love them, of course!"
Satan, Zira, Vitani, Suki, Kuro
Satan nodded and headed off in the direction of the smell.
Vitani stayed behind and followed as her and Zira trotted after Hydras.
Two hybirds snuck into the alleys in the shadows. One female, one male. They saw Hydras heading off with other members of the pack but some stayed behind. They stayed in the shadows for a few moments before coming out. Kuro chuckled and Suki smirked behind him.
Well hello fellow wolves and hybirds. Tis a pleasure to meet you all. I am Kuro and this female behind me is Suki. We are your fellow packmates.
Suki sat down but Kuro remained standing incase the other were hostile.
