Jenna & Balto
Two canines, one a purebred Husky, the other a wolf/husky hybrid, padded down the narrow Alley streets. Jenna, the Husky, had come to think over where she wanted to stay around humans. She didn't really want to be in the wild all of the time. She had brought her mate along with her incase anything should happen. She lowered her head to sniff the ground, but soon pulled her head and ears back at the bad smells that lingered. She snorted slightly and looked around at the buildings and trashcans.
She didn't know why she came here, but she did somehow.
She stopped and sat back on her haunches on a clean peice of ground, and started to lick her paw. She thought about her decision as she did.
Balto, the hybrid, padded near Jenna, with his head held high, taking in the scents. He could smell one familier, old scent around here... One of another hybrid he had met before a long time ago. But that was before. Even if he did meet that same dog they probably wouldn't recognize each other.
He didn't mind the bad smells much since he was used to it. He sat back on his haunches also. He would have liked it better if Jenna would have picked to stay out in the wild, away from most humans. But she wasn't one for that. He licked at his paw also but soon rested in back on the hard, cold pavement and looked to her. He wanted to know her decision.
